I stared at it for a few minutes before thinking of what to do. Sola can never do such right? He's not like that.

But why doesn't he trust me?
Why does he keep disappearing these days? My sub consciousness kept suggesting but I could not believe it. I just couldn't.

I will have to ask him myself. Yeah, I tried to seize the silly tension I was creating.

I went to his DM and I just kept looking at it. He did not have a profile picture again and I looked what I saved his name as, Sola💫: Online.

Like he knew I was staring, he started typing...

I collapsed in my bed and sighed, letting sleep take over me.

Mom left home for work early meaning I woke up early so we could prayed and make lunch for her. By 7:30pm, she was off. I decided to have my bathe and get ready for Lara's arrival. I wore a white tank top, boyfriend jeans and a plaided shirt. Now I just didn't know where Lara will sleep, she will decide that I guess.

I got downstairs and could hear chattering. The Tv was on MTV base and was playing Joeboy's Call me back and I saw a girl on Ire's lap and they were laughing, they were about to lean in and kiss when I coughed.

"Hi." The girl smiled at me, She was a chocolate complexioned girl but I couldn't see her features well. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt and black frayed butt shorts which while she sat hanged freely on her almost exposed lap, she had her hair was made in black and white box braids.

"Hi, you must be Jennifer?" I asked.

"Yeah, I am." She smiled at me while I just glanced at Ire who was nibbling her ear which made her let out a cute laugh. I dismissed the "lovely" couple and went to the kitchen to eat. I made sandwich toast with sardines in them and made hot chocolate drink, I took them upstairs and finished the the one I was eating on the way to the stairs.

Lara finally came at 12pm with a blue Honda CR-V, she was wearing a long black and white striped jumpsuit which showed off her long legs, she has the hourglass figure but caused she was tall, only her hips are visible but with little boobs. She complicated her look with pink sandals, a nice coat of lipgloss and a gold chain.

"Hey girl." She smiled.

"Woah, you look amazing." I smiled at her and she pulled me into a hug which was filled of her scent.

"Thank you, thank you." She beamed. She wasn't kidding of being a fashionista. She brought out a duffel bag and mini suitcase. I just stood there dazed.

"Thanks Tobi." She greeted the guy in the passenger's seat who liked he was eighteen or so, they were off while I closed the gate.

She smiled again while I nodded, I felt a little intimidated cause this was my first time having someone over especially someone who I thought was not my class but Lara likes me the way I am and I am proud of whatever thing I have.

"I wasn't sure where you would like to sleep." I told her when we got inside.

"Obviously your room." She laughed.

"Good." I smiled.

She said she wanted to sleep on my bed since it was very big and she loved my Minnie mouse sheets. Lara made us make a fort which was so much fun and tiring to make.

"So." I asked her as I was munching on a Twix chocolate bar. "I hardly know anything about you, I hope you don't mind."

"Sure." She started. "I have an older brother, Tobi. He's an introvert and a science geek but I still love him anyways. My mom's white, my Dad's Nigerian but my mom has this depression syndrome which kinda makes it hard for me to talk about girl stuff yunno?" She looked at me and I did understand.

"That's why I'm staying with my cousin, mostly because my Dad wants me to school here and continue my modelling career and partially so that mum could recover better at home." I felt so sorry for her, I pulled her into a hug and she accepted it willingly.

"Yunno, I like you." I blushed at that. "You do? Why?" I asked.

"You're not like Tolu, who's always partying and whatever shit with Folarin." She rolled her eyes.

"Ohh, so Tolu and Folarin are that close?" I asked.

"They go wayyy back. I was kinda happy that they weren't a thing anymore cause she was so obsessed." She rolled her eyes for like the millionth time. "But he and you, can never happen. No offense."

"None taken." I assured her and stared at my phone beside me, remembering the message.

"Now where's your brother?"

"With one side chick." I answered her.

"Ohh and you're not curious?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"Hmm, let's do sneak up on them. But for serious business though." I winked at her.

"Ohh yeah."

We both sneaked to his bedroom door and could hear music playing in the background which was trying to cover up the other sounds coming from room.

"What's happening?." I whispered to Lara.

"I think I know." She rolled her eyes for the millionth time today.

She opened the door a little bit and immediately shut it. She grabbed my hand and we ran to our room.

"Woah, well that was..what I expected." She had her eyes as wide as mine.

"You don't mean?" I asked.

"Hmmuhmm." She nodded.

We just kept quiet until my phone beeped and the caller's ID showed up, It was my mom.

"Hey honey, I'm outside now." She said and ended the call immediately.

"I just wonder how he's going to deal with her." Lara said, tagging Jennifer's name and I just shrugged. His problem.

Lara and I went downstairs and greeted my mom. We made dinner of Spaghetti garnished with chicken. Lara begged me so she could cook and I might say she was good.

Mom went to her room to freshen up and do some reading. So it gave our 'lovely' couple a chance to sneak out. Lara and I laughed at how messed up Jenny looked.

"Bye girls." She smiled and headed for the door, Ire offered to walked her down and Lara faked a blush. "Bye, don't forget to hit the showers while you have time." The way she said it made me laugh but it still pained me how a girl like this could be like a sex toy.

We also made this fruit smoothie, again Lara's idea. She was listing a lot of health benefits which I hardly paid attention too, making them was way better.

"Watermelon, honey and cream." Lara answered my mom.

"This is amazing, thank you." My mom smiled at her.

"Now shoo." Lara pushed me out.

"Pray." My mom told me sternly.

"Yes mum." I replied and looked at Lara.

"Ire, let's pray." I shouted when we went out of my mom's room and headed downstairs.

Lara was the one who wanted to pray, her enthusiasm sha. She prayed for everyone in the household, including Ire.

"Good night." I said as I got into my Hello Kitty pyjamas.

"You're so boring." She rolled her eyes.
"Netflix time." She clapped her hand excitedly while I groaned."Fine".

"Love you too baby girl." Lara winked at me.

We watched After which Lara said she was putting off and I haven't watched. I was pissed that it was so different from the book but it was interesting sha Thoughts of Ire came to my mind during the movie too, what is he turning into ?

"We are going to have so much fun tommorow." Lara whispered in my ear as we went to bed in the fort she made on my bed.

"Of course, when you're here." I teased.

"Shoir, just wait for my part two." Then I heard gentle snores. She was tired.
