Things started getting back to normal again as Kit returned to work while Jude took the babies with her to work as each of the girls helped out with bot Josiah and Kennedy until it was Jude's turn to either nurture or nurse them.

She loved being a mother to no end as she felt her world becoming at peace, feeling like she had a purpose. Being a wife and a mom was the best feeling in the world to her, she felt like nothing else besides her job and her girls mattered.

Around eleven o'clock that morning, the lunchtime rush was coming in and out of the bookstore, admiring Josiah and Kennedy, customers beaming over the new books that had been frequently purchased by Vivien as she held a sleeping baby in her arms while Jude held another one.

"Here comes Mr. Grumpy." Violet said with a smile on her face.

"Hello?"

"How are you this morning?"

"Better now that you're here." Violet sarcastically replied to the man who made her blood go cold.

"Don't sass me young lady!" The old man replied as Violet wanted to get even with him.

"Right back you old man!"

"Violet!" Vivien snapped her fingers.

"Mom, he's been doing nothing but giving me hell since day one. He could be nice, but I guess what they say about assholes like him."

"Go sit in my office till you can be nicer." Vivien pointed as Violet walked away to the back of the library.

"I'm sorry about her. She's been having kind of a rough patch lately and she's getting better with her attitude." Vivien said as the old man just stared at her, uninterested in what she just said.

"Women complain about everything in their life, that's why I'm not married." The old man said.

"I can think of some other reasons too." Jane muttered under her breath.

"Here's your book and I hope you enjoy." Jude said as Kennedy started getting fussy.

Jude knew how her customers could be and the girls knew that, but Violet had to have something to help her out with her personal life and home life. It had been especially hard since her dad no longer really came around anymore.

Jude gave Kennedy to Pepper as she kindly sat in the rocking chair and rocked her while Jude walked to the back of the library to talk to Violet.

Jude opened the door to see Vivien talking to her while tears streamed out and rolled down her cheeks.

"It's not fair!"

"I know honey, but you have another weekend with me.''

"And Frank."

"He's better than your father."

"I agree with her." Jude stepped in.

"You don't even know what we're talking about." Violet said as she had her arms crossed and looked away from both of them.

"Violet, I understand where you're coming from. I didn't have my father here to love me and show me how to do a lot of things, but Frank is a really good man. He protected me from getting hurt a few times and he always kept me out of harm's way."

"Except the last time." Violet mumbled.

"He couldn't help that dear. There was so much going on in the end of all that, that I felt like I had been defeated and the devil picked his victim."

"But you're alive and well. Frank did not save you, Kit did."

"He did, but Frank could not save me from the evil and foolishness of two men who did hurt me."

"Frank could have saved you from all those nightmares."

"But I was strong. I had a good bond of strong and ambitious will to go on and Kit, he was my saving grace, but Frank did his best sweetheart and don't blame him for what happened to me." Jude caressed Violet's cheek.

"Okay." Violet said

Later on that night, Kit arrived home after Jude did as she stood in the kitchen, making dinner and holding both babies as they nursed.

"Hello my three babies." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"Daddy's home.'' Jude said as she kissed him while the babies cooed.

"Looks like they won't save me any." Kit winked at her.

"Do they ever?" Jude asked.

"Well, I'm happy they get milk drunk from all of your glorious goodness."

"Oh goodness! Is that what we're calling it now?''

"Why not?"

"You're so bad!"

"And what will mommy do with a bad boy like daddy?"

"Tell him to go take a shower because he stinks like gas and gas station grease and food." Jude said as she kissed him again, ignoring the urge down below her to make love to him.

"I wish mommy could come with me.''

"Maybe another time." Jude said

"Promise?"

"Of course." Jude said as he kissed her again.

He was off to take a shower when Jude clicked the TV on as she sat down to continue nursing both babies when the man on the screen caught her eye.

"Oh my goodness!" Jude said as she looked down at both babies to see that they had finished their meal and needed to be burped.

She lifted both babies onto her shoulder and burped them as she seen Timothy on the screen.

"He got what he wanted I guess." Kit said as he scared Jude.

"Honey... You scared me!''

"I don't want you watching that."

"There's nothing else."

"We'll find something besides this." Kit said as he scooped up Kennedy and she went right back onto sleep.

...

They ate, she showered and they made sure the babies were okay before calling it a night as Jude thought about what she had seen tonight on TV.

She heard Kit drift off into a deep sleep as he started softly snoring as both babies could be heard too with their faint snores.

"Good way to keep mommy up." Jude said but she ended up drifting off to sleep as she felt at peace in her life now.

...

The next morning

Kit was up before Jude was, letting her sleep in since it was the weekend and he knew she needed it because the babies kept her awake at random hours of the night.

"Wonder what mama will think when we clean the house and make breakfast for her." Kit said as both babies smiled at him.

"Let's see what we have for breakfast."

He looked through the fridge to find bacon, eggs, bagels, fruit, cream cheese and a few other items.

"Daddy needs to go grocery shopping."

...

Jude woke up to the sound of baby giggles and Kit's voice wafting through the air as she smiled.

She got up and put her robe on as she made her way into the kitchen as she ate a piece of bacon.

Kit snuck up behind as she felt his lips on her neck as that feeling pulsed through her body again.

"Kit?"

"Yeah."

"Don't do that. I'm still not completely healed from giving birth to the babies and if we don't stop now, then I won't be able to keep my hands off of you." Jude said as Kit kissed her on the cheek.

"It's okay baby. We'll just wait for the doctor to tell us what you can do at the next doctor's appointment."

"It sure won't be sex I don't think. As much as I want to right now, I'm still pretty sore from pushing out two little big heads out of me."

"They sure don't seem like they had big heads.''

"Well, that's because a hole so small was coming apart."

"And I love how you gave birth to our beautiful big heads."

"Well honey, I thank you for getting me pregnant with them."

"It wasn't just me babe."

"I know, but let's go relax on the couch. Maybe we can just cuddle together."

"That's how we got pregnant."

"I'm not having anymore babies."

"You're the boss babe."

"And thanks for helping out with that." Jude said as they made their way to the couch as both babies slumbered in their bassinet.

"You're welcome." He kissed her head, seeing the electroshock therapy scars that had healed a long time ago.

"What's wrong honey?" She asked as he just stared at her.

"Your scars."

"You took care of me baby and made sure I healed before anything."

"Taking care of you has been my mission from the get go."

"And you've taken great care of me baby. From life out of Briarcliff till now with our children, you've been with me from the get go and I could not have asked for no one better than you."

"Even if wasn't supposed to be me." Kit said as Jude looked at him.

"It was always you baby."

"I'm not him." Kit said

"You're not him, you're you and I seen his true colors and ambitions. Same with you, but you were there with me after all of it was said and done. You nursed me back to health and got me better Kit. I will always love you for everything that has and always will be you. From then to now, I love you baby." Jude said as she kissed him.

"I love you too Jude and thank you for helping out a man who was so lost after everything that had happened."

"You're welcome, now no more mentions of him. Let's get on with our lives again and be happy."

"Good idea." Kit said as he wrapped his arm around her as she laid her head on his shoulder as they watched a movie.
