A few hours upon their arrival to the hospital, Kit watched as nurses helped Jude when needed as they made sure to calm her fears and his too.

They were nervous and he knew that Jude was the strongest woman he had ever met as he watched her sleep as he rubbed her stomach and back. That was the only way she could sleep without being in total discomfort.

Jude woke up to a stronger contraction than she was used to as Kit timed it as he was used to doing that as he rubbed her stomach and back in a motion she swore he had magical hands.

"You don't have to time these sweetheart, it's all on the database from my fetal monitor." As she tried to talk her way through it as Kit held her hand.

"Force of habit sweetheart."

"Ooh okay darling. It's easing down, but that was like a strong period cramp."

Soon, the doctor came in to check on her dilation as she was three centimeters dilated.

"At four or five, we can give you an epidural to relieve some of the pain."

"Okay."

She thought of walking around and see how that helps them out as Vivien walked with them.

"I heard this was a fast labor technique."

"It is, but so is sex." Vivien joked with her.

They heard the elevator ding and Lana walked into the path of their direction.

"You know? There is this thing called a phone." Lana said as Jude stood so Kit could rub her back.

"Sorry dear, the babies wanted to come in a hurry."

"Did sex actually work?"

"Jeez, what is this? Our private hour?"

"Maybe we should tell the details of our honeymoon."

"Absolutely not."

"Write a book about it." Lana said.

"I will when your section of the cooking column gets better." Jude scoffed as she felt another contraction hit.

"Damn." Was all Jude heard as she looked and seen Mary Eunice.

"I love your comebacks." Kit and Vivien said

"Well thanks." Jude said as she breathed a sigh that the contraction subsided as she held onto Kit and Vivien.

"I know I need to improve."

"Jude can teach you." Pepper said

"Seriously lady? Thirty cups of flour for a batch of cookies." Violet said.

"That was a typo in the system."

"More like ancient technology." Violet said back.

"Everyone must be just full of cheer and delight today." The nurse said as she walked by to see if Jude was okay.

"Only to have my babies." Jude said as another strong contraction barred through her body.

"Can I get back in the room, please?" Jude asked as Kit rubbed her back.

"Right away Mrs. Walker."

Jude was back in bed and contractions were coming more and more together as Kit massaged her back and fed her ice chips.

"Hello Jude, would you like your epidural?"

"Is she dilated enough?" The nurse asked.

"Go get Dr. Smith in here to update Judy Walker's dilation." The nurse said out the door.

"Kit, do you think I should have the epidural?" Jude asked him.

"Well baby, do you want it?" Kit asked her.

"I don't know." Jude said as she was scared as she felt like her body was convulsing.

The doctor came back in and held up the epidural needle.

"Kit, tell me what you want!" Jude yelled

"Give her the epidural." He told the doctor.

"Jeez, next time hurry up and think.'' Jude said as Kit nodded.

"You don't have to be mean." She heard Mary Eunice said.

"I can't help it, I'm in labor and unless y'all are pushing two babies out of your bodies, then everyone shut the hell up and let me be mean." Jude said as Kit massages her feet and legs.

"Pregnant hormones are getting to you." Lana said.

"Shut the hell up, Ms. Lana Banana before I get up and pour some holy water on you." Jude said as her contraction was close to leaving.

"Babe?" Kit said as Jude closed her eyes.

"What?" Jude asked.

"Be nicer." Kit said.

"Fuck you!" Jude screamed.

"Damn sister." Mary Eunice said

"I wish y'all would hush, please?"

A little while later on, Jude was given her epidural as the doctors were preparing for the babies arrival.

"And another thing, this damn catheter is so uncomfortable. This is worse than losing my virginity." Jude said as she felt herself getting tired.

"How?"

"Kit's manhood feels like heaven inside of me. This catheter feels like a very uncomfortable piece of rubber, almost like a condom." Jude said.

"Y'all never wore protection?" Lana asked.

"Once and we said screw it." Kit said.

"Thank goodness for this invention of the epidural." Jude said.

"I agree, but I'm ready to meet our babies." Kit said.

"Labor Pains are a real bitch!" Vivien said

"But the the sweet relief that came with this epidural is amazing!" Jude said.

"Except that needle." Jude said.

"It's all over with now baby. Just think, we are about to meet our son and daughter." Jude said as Kit rubbed her back and placed the other one on her stomach.

"Babies, it's daddy. Listen, be nice to mommy and don't take too long to get here." Kit said.

"She's been in labor for seven hours now.'' Violet said.

"It'll take longer probably. Our babies are just like their daddy." Jude said.

"Like me?" Kit questioned.

"Yes, you take too long in everything you do." Jude said.

"It's better to go slow sometimes." Kit winked at her.

"Well, were going to grab something to eat. Do y'all want anything?" Vivien asked.

"No, I'm not hungry." Kit said.

"Ice chips and plenty of them." Jude said.

"Anything else?" Pepper asked

"Maybe some water." Jude said.

"Alright." Vivien said as her as the girls walked out to leave Kit and Jude alone.

"Finally, we're alone." Jude said as Kit smiled.

"Do you know how fine you are to me Judy Ruth Martin Walker?" Kit questioned as Jude smiled.

"I have an idea of how fine I am to you, but you have to tell me again, because I love hearing it." Jude smiled.

"You're finer than all the diamonds in the world." Kit said.

"And you're finer than all the slow bourbon in a glass." Jude said.

"You're just like a fine wine yourself." Kit said as Jude placed his hand on her stomach.

"A glass of wine sounds wonderful right about now." Jude said as she smiled.

"Once we have these babies and our doctor gives us an okay on sex and alcohol, then I'll take you out to a real fine fancy restaurant." Kit said.

"Sounds great!" Jude said as she started getting sleepy again.

"Go ahead and rest baby. I'll make sure that Vivien and the girls are okay." Kit said.

"Thank you sweetheart." Jude said as she caressed his face as she felt their babies move around.

"You're welcome baby." Kit said as he kissed her baby pink cherub lips.

Jude went onto sleep as Vivien gave him her ice chips as Jude looked peaceful as she slumbered.

"Kit, would you like to get some rest too?" Vivien asked him.

"Oh no! I'm fine." Kit said.

"You should. I already rested and we're in for a long night, so go ahead and get some rest." Vivien said.

"I'm afraid if I go to sleep, I won't be awake when she does." Kit said.

"I'll wake you up and Jude said you deserve it and I agree with her." Vivien said.

"Okay and thanks." Kit said as he looked at his sleeping wife.

Kit went onto sleep as Vivien made sure to keep the noise level from the girls down.
