Kit and Jude arrived at their destination a little after two o'clock as they took in the scenery. They loved taking in nature and tried to explore it as much as they can.

"We could have built a house here darling, but it's too far from where we work." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"What if we come here on occasion, like to get away from life?" Jude questioned

"Sounds great baby." Kit said as he picked her up as she kissed him.

"Maybe we can check in early and start our wedding night early." Jude said as she gave him her seductive look.

"Let me go check and see." Kit said as he put her down and kissed her again.

Kit went and checked on getting the cabin he rented as he paid and was handed the key.

He held up the key as Jude smiled as he unlocked the door and Jude felt Kit's hands up and down her backside.

"Why don't you get the bags and bring me the one with the food in it?" Jude asked as he went to go get them.

Jude started looking around their spacious kitchen for the weekend as she smiled. She was still feeling sick as she was just glad that the vomiting had stopped.

Kit brought the bag of food and other essential items as she started storing items away. Kit just looked at her in awe as he noticed her body had this angelic glow to it and it was not because of the sun.

"How are you feeling baby?" Kit asked as he swayed with her in his arms.

"Much better, but I'm still tired." Jude said as Kit kissed her temple, relieved that the electroshock therapy burns were gone and faded.

"C'mon baby, I want you to rest." Kit said as he held her hand as they walked to their bedroom and seen how gorgeously spacious it was as Jude fell in love with this cabin.

"They call this love cabin, because it has helped couples heal from traumatic experiences they have gone through or just bring their love closer together." Kit said as Jude kissed him as she started kissing his neck.

"Let's lie down darling, we've had a long day." Jude said as Kit layer down first as she laid down in his arms.

"I'm going to take a nap darling." Jude said as Kit felt the need for one too.

"I am too darling." Kit said as they shared a kiss and drifted off to sleep as they felt safe in each other's arms as Jude had her arm over him with the blanket pulled up over their bodies.

A few hours later, Jude woke up to feel a empty, cold side of the bed where Kit kept the bed usually warm.

She sat up and smelled the aroma of an Italian pasta dish cooking as she slowly got up and made her way down the hall to the kitchen.

"Honey?" Jude called out to him.

"I'm in the kitchen baby." Kit said as she walked in and immediately started laughing.

"What is it?" Kit asked her.

"You're in my apron and you have flour on your face. Are you baking something?" Jude asked him.

"Yes, I found your recipe for garlic butter bread and I went to a local bakery and store and found all the ingredients to make our dinner." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"It smells devine darling." Jude said

"Thank you darling. Everything is homemade and I hope it comes out right." Kit said

"Well, you have made me some scrumptious meals for me, but never this one." Jude said as he started kissing her.

He backed her up onto the table as she felt herself needing him.

"This dinner is making me want you so bad darling." Jude said as Kit rubbed in between her legs as she felt herself becoming hotter by the minute.

"I want you too baby." Kit said as she unbuttoned his pants.

He took her legs and wrapped them around him, so he could make the friction easier for them both. He teased her with the tip of his manhood as she could not take it anymore.

"I guess I still have it, huh?" Jude asked him as she smiled.

"You definitely do baby and a whole lot more." Kit said as he kissed her.

"Well, I'm going to let you cook and not get distracted while I go take a shower, because this weekend will get even better." Jude said as she took a drink of his water and walked off to shower.

"It already has baby." Kit said as he loved the way Jude swayed her hips as she walked.

Jude took her shower as she dried her hair and made an effort to look presentable as she felt sick at her stomach again as she dropped to her knees in front of the toilet.

"Kit?" Jude screamed as Kit came running into the bathroom.

"It's okay baby." Kit said as she threw up her breakfast and lunch.

"We have to be pregnant or were going to a different doctor if he calls us to tell me something different." Jude said as Kit wiped the tears streaming down her face.

"Jude baby, we're going to have a baby." Kit said as Jude looked at him.

"Kit, I'm scared." Jude said as Kit held her.

"There's nothing to be scared of baby, I will be right by your side through the whole entire process. I promise you, I'm not going to leave your side, even during labor when you call me names or tell me to get out, I will be right there." Kit said with all sincerity in him as she seen the light twinkle in his eyes.

"Did I ever tell you how much you mean to me?" Jude questioned as he held her.

"Yes, but I love it when you tell me over and over again." Kit said as he kissed her, not caring that she just threw up.

"You mean everything to me Kit Thomas Walker." Jude said as she got up to brush her teeth.

"You mean everything to me too Judy Ruth Martin Walker." Kit said as they brushed their teeth and went to sit down on the couch until dinner was done.

"It smells devine darling." Jude said

"I'm afraid that you're going to get sick again." Kit said as he hated seeing her feel bad.

"That's just all apart if being pregnant baby." Jude said as Kit rubbed her stomach and felt a formed bump.

"Jude feel, right here." Kit said as they placed their hands on her midsection and lower abdomen.

"I promise that I'm not just sticking my stomach out, but my abdomen in rock hard." Jude said as she loved the way it felt as Kit kissed her stomach.

"Hi baby, it's daddy." Kit said as he talked to her stomach.

"I can't wait to meet you, hear you, feel you move around in mommy's belly. I love you already Josiah or Kennedy." Kit said as Jude smiled at the sound of the names they already picked out.

"This is mommy and she loves you just like daddy does." Kit continued as he laid his head in her lap.

They ate dinner and now it was time for bed, but Jude stayed true to her promise as she opened her carry-on to reveal a very daring piece if clothing material as she seen what it was:

"I bet Kit snuck this in here, but it's only for his eyes." Jude said as she put on the red lingerie as she felt awkward in it but sexy at the same time.

She brushed her teeth, spritzed perfume on her wrists and rubbed it in between her delicate cleavage, behind ears and sprayed some down there.

"Hey babe, have you seen the lighter anywhere?" Kit asked her, knocking on the door.

Kit said as Jude smiled as he sat down in the bath as he held his hands out for her to grab to get in as she did as she lathered a wash rag and soaps his chest and front side.

Kit walked into the kitchen to slice up an apple and banana pieces as he put the on a plate with slices of cream cheese and ranch as he walked down the hall to their bedroom as he gave her the plate.

"Thank you baby." Jude said as Kit looked at her as she had her reading glasses on with a book in her hands.

"You're welcome baby, enjoy." Kit said as he sat down to read a book Jude was telling him about.

"I will." Jude said as she was happy and content.

Jude finished her snack as she started getting tired as she set her book down on the night stand and took off her glasses and set them with her book.

"Tired darling?" Kit asked her as she rested her head on her pillow.

"Yes." Jude yawned

"I am too." Kit said as he laid down beside of her as he turned out the lights.

"Good night baby, I love you." Kit said as he pressed a kiss to her lips.

"Good night my darling, I love you too." Jude said as she drifted off to sleep on his chest.

They drifted off to sleep as they felt happy and peaceful.

Next day

"You okay babe?" Kit asked as they decided to take a nature walk after breakfast but Jude started feeling her body react to the food.

"Yes, I'm fine darling. I'm still not feeling all that well, but I don't want to be in the cabin all day long like most couples." Jude said as they had sit down, hoping to calm her stomach.

"I brought some medicine, ginger ale and crackers just in case." Kit said as she just took a drink of her water as she loved the way he was always prepared.

"Thank you darling, it's just the baby's way of telling me I'm sick. I know for a fact we are and if that doctor calls me and tells me I'm not, I will physically cane him." Jude said as Kit laughed.

"Well honey, do what you have to do, but I would be a tad bit jealous of him getting his ass caned." Kit said as Jude laughed.

"That's a punishment, your reward will be bigger and better. I will make sure he can't walk for a couple of weeks." Jude smiled that evil smile she always did when she thought of doing something devious.

"God, you turn me on." Kit said as he started kissing her neck.

"I'm glad me vomiting turns you on." Jude laughed

"Well, it has its advantages." Kit said as Jude kissed him while running her fingers through his hair.

They continued their nature walk as Jude took in the scenery.

"Have you ever seen something so beautiful in your life?" Jude asked him as he kissed her neck.

"Yes, the beautiful woman standing in front of me." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"I meant the glorious colors of the trees. Fall always makes me think of the wonderful sounds and scenes God gave us. It is my favorite time of the year." Jude said as Kit rested his hand on her stomach, feeling it was a little more rounded.

"Baby, put your hands on your stomach." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"I already know. I seen my belly this morning and I seen it was more rounded than usual. I don't even know why we went to the doctor yesterday." Jude said

"Because we were curious, worried and wanted to be prepared. Every parent does that baby." Kit said

"Are we going to surprise everyone when we go home or let them figure it out on their own?" Kit asked her.

"If someone asks, then we will tell them." Jude said

"The girls will be so happy." Kit said

"I know and I can't wait to feel our baby move." Jude said as she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck.

"You hear that baby, mommy and daddy can't wait to feel you move and see you. Please let this be real." Kit said as he rubbed her stomach.

"It is darling and I can't wait to share our beautiful journey together." Jude said as she pressed a kiss to his lips.

The rest of the day was spent talking about past memories and watching movies, cuddled up in each others arms.

Kit made lunch as Jude went to look for a nail file for her nails.

While digging through her toiletry case to look for her nail file, she found a letter of some sort as she looked at the front of the envelope as she gasped as she read the name on it.

"This can't be real." Jude said to herself as she wondered who put it in there.

"Kit darling, come here." Jude yelled as Kit came in the bedroom.

"Is everything okay baby?" Kit asked her.

"Yes darling, but I came in here to retrieve my nail file because my nails need to be buffed and filed and I found this letter addressed to me from someone we both know." Jude said as she swallowed as she felt the heart ache set in.

"Who's it from?" Kit asked her.

"Monsignor Timothy Howard." Jude read the envelope as Kit wanted to snatch it away and burn it.

"Please tell me you're not going to read it?" Kit asked her.

"Baby, I need to read it." Jude said as Kit felt his heart race as Jude used her letter opener to take out the folded up piece of paper.

"Fine, go ahead and read it. I will be in the kitchen." Kit said as he was really going outside.

Kit's mind raced as he thought about all the possibilities.

What if she still loves him?

That voice in his head was telling him negative things.

"She's going to leave you and take that precious child with her."

"She only married you because she's lonely."

"She knows Timothy still loves her."

"That baby will never know his or her real father."

Kit screamed

"Shut the hell up, all of you!" Kit screamed in anger as he started crying.

Inside

Jude finally braced herself to read the letter written from him as she unfolded it as she grabbed her reading glasses and began to read.

Dear Jude,

Hello rare bird, it's so good to finally write to you as I have not had much time lately, but it's early morning here in Rome.

Jude choked up, knowing she shouldn't, but she did.

I'm now Pope, if you have not heard and I have been quite busy as I heard you have too. I heard you were engaged and soon to be married to Kit Walker. Last time I was in your library, you had Kit tell me to leave. You have no idea how much it hurt to leave you behind.

Jude got angry

"You're fucking sorry you left me, you son of a bitch! You locked me away and threw me into that snake pit and threw away the key. The audacity you have and I had every right to have Kit throw you out. Just like you did me." Jude said in an angry tone as her stomach started hurting.

"Oh darling, I'm sorry. Mommy just got upset." Jude talked to her stomach as it settled down as she went back to reading "the letter".

It was the worst time for me and I just wanted to say I'm sorry and I hope we can make up.

Jude swallowed

"Timothy, what you did was a cruel act of every tragic love story, it felt like a bad ending of Shakespeare gone wrong. What you did was highly unforgivable. I really thought you hung the moon." Jude did not want to read the rest of the letter but she had to.

I hate the way things ended with us and that I had done such cruel things to you.

Jude was confused on that part as she read "parts" as she only knew a couple.

"What the hell is he talking about?" Jude asked herself.

I need to tell you something Jude as I can't say it in person, but you did not really kill Frank McCann, he is still alive and well. I was highly manipulated to frame you for the murder and I'm sorry for not believing in you when you told me all these times we were talking about Arden.

Jude was now beyond pissed.

"You stupid son of a bitch." Jude said out loud. Kit was now just walking into the bedroom as he seen Jude not reading the letter.

"What happened?" Kit asked her as Jude yelped as she grabbed her chest.

"Oh darling, you scared me!" Jude said as Kit sat down beside of her.

"What did that jackass have to say this time? I heard you cursing." Kit said as Jude noticed he had been crying.

"I will tell you here in a moment. Darling, have you been crying?" Jude asked as she felt of his face.

"I was not going into the kitchen, I went outside and the voice inside my head was saying some awful things." Kit said as Jude was now curious.

"What was this voice in your head?" Jude asked him.

"It was saying how you were going to leave me and take our baby with you and raise it with that asshole, I don't think so. Hell no." Kit said as Jude hated to hear that as she caressed his cheek.

"I will never leave you Kit, we made vows to God that we were going to love each other for better or worse. Timothy Howard, in my opinion, is a coward and he did nothing but bring me false hope and cruel intentions.'' Jude said as she looked at the letter.

"What is in this letter?" Kit asked her.

"Do you remember one of the reasons why I was committed as a patient to Briarcliff?" Jude asked her.

"Because they accused you of being crazy, which you were not." Kit said

"Any other reason?" Jude asked him.

"They said you stabbed Leigh Emerson in the neck with a letter opener and he survived, but he deserved it." Kit said as Jude felt like he could read her like an open book.

"The reason I did that because he tried to rape me with his disgusting male part and bad breath." Jude said as Kit felt the sadness in her eyes as she looked away.

"I know I should have told you this, but I don't want to have these memories and regrets for the rest of my life." Jude said as she cried into his shoulder as her mood swings were coming in full blast.

"Hey! I still love you, despite your past and that's not going to change my mind. I got you out of Briarcliff, so I could forget it, but you had it a lot worse and as for Monsignor Howard, he'll get his day where all hell breaks loose on him. Jude, I love you too much to let you go and I will not lose you, because I would lose everything that God planned for us." Kit said as he wiped her tears away.

"I can't lose you either." Jude cried into his shoulder as he held her.

"Everything's going to be okay baby, but let's not stress the baby out. I would hate to know that if I had to beat a grown man's ass over my two beautiful blessings." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"Did you know that Frank is still alive and well?" Jude asked him.

"Yes I know. I just seen him not too long ago at the station, he got an oil change and some gas. He no longer works at Briarcliff and is a security officer at the local bank." Kit said as Jude hugged him.

"Kit, I have to see him. Did he tell you the next time he would be around?" Jude asked him.

"Well, I invited him to Thanksgiving dinner with us. His family is going to some ski resort and he hates it." Kit said as Jude smiled.

"I'm starting to feel better now." Jude said as Kit smiled.

"What do you say we forget about this letter and we have little fun?" Kit said as Jude smiled as she pecked his lips.

"I love that idea, but how would you like to set it on fire?" Jude said seductively in his ear as she kissed it.

"My pleasure baby." Kit said as they got up and went over by the fireplace as Jude crumbled the letter up.

The last part of it said:

"I'm not your rare bird anymore. I'm Judy Walker, Kit Walker's wife, a very successful librarian, a friend, teacher to children and soon-to-be mother of mine and his unborn child Josiah or Kennedy, maybe both." Jude said as she and Kit sent the paper balls up in a flames.

"Now, let's forget all about him and let's live our lives like we've been married forever." Jude said as Kit loved that idea.

"I love that idea baby." Kit said as he picked her up and carried her to their bed.

After their passionate evening, Kit and Jude showered, made dinner, watched movies, talked about their future and fell asleep peacefully in each other's embraces.

Life was slowly getting better for Kit and Jude. They were happy and living it blissfully.
