Introduction
I'm not an activist. But I'm not blind either. I see what is going on. No, I deal with what is going on.
I'm not an activist. Yet, I have my own voice. I can shape opinions. My thoughts wil not be changed simply because the government doesn't agree with what I say.
I'm not an activist. But this world can make one out of you.
I'm not an activist.
With that being said, I want to make a difference. This will be my experiences as a WOC. There will be viewpoints and spoken words and essays. Anything and everything.
This is not just the BLM movement. This is much more. This is about people whose voices aren't heard. This is about people being heard and spreading awareness. I cannot protest. But I won't side with those in the wrong.
This is what I am able to do. Even if you sign one petition, that is good. If you can do more, do it. However if this is not good for your mental health or you can't be vocal about it, I understand.
I have friend, shes white, and she supports but her support is limited. Her dad is very touchy with this subject and she knows consequences will be severe. But she's signed.
All we need is a signature.
Even so, no one is upset if you cannot not mentally handle this because you matter.
I will be posting petitions for BLM and any other movements. This will not be stopped when this dies down. Everything will go on. So please, add this to your library and listen to my point of view. Not the media's. A point of view that had experienced this and isn't glamourised.
I'm not an activist.
Neither do you have to be.
