[Reader-Chan's POV]

I was awake for quiet some time now cuddling to Toby, enjoying the warmth of his body. I didn't wanted to get up. And who would? In a moment Toby woke up too. He pulled me closer to share the warmth with me generously. We were like that for what felt like hours. I wished for that moment to never end. But wishes never come true. My phone rang and I picked up groaning a little from still being sleepy.

"Yes...?" I yawned

"Child? This is Slendrina, did I wake you up?"

"Not really..."

"Good. Today we will discuss about your training."

"Okay... When?"

"After the lunch. Now just get yourself together."

"Yes ma'am..." Slendrina giggled after that.

"Talk to you soon [Y/N]."

"Talk to you soon Slendrina."

With that she hung up. I sat up rubbing my eyes and gasped as the blanket slipped of my chest that immediately got exposed to the cold air. I covered my chest again. To be honest I just wrapped myself in the blanket around Toby for maximal warmth. But after few minutes he sat up with me just clinging to him and said

"[Y/N] we should get up. I'm hungry."

"You're right but you and the bed is so waaarrrmmmm and I'm lazy! But kinda thirsty..."

"Let's make a compromise. You stay in bed, I'll get you some warm clothes of mine that isn't too big for ya, you put it on under the blanket to stay warm and when your clothes gets warm we get breakfast. Of course I'll dress up too."

"This is like the longest sentence you ever said while not joking. But yeah it's a deal."

"Knew it. You can't say no to stealing more of my clothes."

"Yeah... Wait. How do you know which of yours not too big clothes is warm if without me you can't feel warmth?"

"Uhh... Slendrina got it and said it's warm and bit fluffy inside?"

"Okay that works."

"Good. Now just let go of me so I can get the clothes than."

"Oh-Of course."

I let go of Toby. He got up while I wrapped myself in the blanket like I'm a burrito. He opened his closet and started searching until he found some clothes for us both. Than he handed me the clothes along with my underwear from yesterday with my bra. I'm too lazy to go for new ones now so yeah this will have to do. I dressed up in the blanket while Toby dressed up not feeling how cold his room is. Does he even have the heater on?

When I got warm again before leaving for breakfast I checked Toby's heater and guess what? It wasn't on so I turned it on. He might not feel a difference but it's better. We left to get the breakfast and Toby with a little tune on his lips decided to cook something.

God save us all if he doesn't know how to cook.

It turned out he knows how to make great eggs with bacon and cheese so I was pleased with our little breakfast. My body slightly sore from our yesterdays activities... But nothing too bad. Toby didn't fail to provide perfect clothes to hide all traces of our activities too. One of his black turtlenecks and a hoodie just like his only slightly smaller. It is indeed cozy. The turtleneck hiding all the hickeys on my neck. Well a scarf would be more obvious.

As if we weren't obvious when we just disappeared last night from the party together.

We ate our breakfast still sleepy and craving warmth so we were sitting so close to each other feeling like two puzzle pieces perfectly fitting into each other. We than went to my room just to make a little change. Mostly the change of my underwear. I couldn't stand wearing the same one from yesterday. Gross. Than we resolved to cuddles in the bed with the blanket over us for even more warmth. It's just one of those days at of fall making you want to stay in bed, maybe watch a movie, nap, get a nice cup of tea.

It started to rain. I like rain. Apparently Toby does too. It worked like a lullaby on him. He fell asleep in my arms in the matter of minutes clinging to me gently as if I'm the most important person in the world. I was gently rubbing his back with one of my hands while stroking his hair slowly and tenderly. He's such a precious guy. I just want to keep him close. Forever. He makes me so happy.

I lowered my body so I had my head on his chest and I fell asleep as well. He's such a soft lover. And I guess we are both always tired.

I woke up few hours later. Toby keeping his strong arms around me from his deep slumber. I stroked his hair a bit and he sleepily looked up at me. God he's adorable like this. All puffy and warm and just UwU. I wanna squeeze his cheeks.

So that's what I did. He was at first confused but than he laughed.

"Am I cute?"

"You're VERY cute."

"Yay I'm cute!"

Can he get even more adorable?

Possibly.

We than proceeded to get up and go for lunch. Half of the people were out for missions or sleeping. So it was pretty quiet. The air felt tense between Slender and Slendrina. I was getting nervous before Toby layed one of his hands gently on my thigh for comfort. Slender was giving me a curious look even though he has no face. When we finished the lunch everybody else than me, Toby and Slendrina.

"Toby I'd like to talk with Matt alone please."

He nodded, lightly squeezed my thigh and left. At least she likes me.

"Matt I will be your trainer. As you already know. You should know that you are a special case, so you need special treatment. No one else before you had a training like you will have."

"Oh boy..."

"Don't worry. That doesn't mean anything bad child. Only we have to take some safety actions. For your and theirs protection."

"What does that mean?"

"As long as we are going to have training we will be living in a different cabin. Far away from here."

"A-Away? Like. Not being able to see anyone from here?"

"You shouldn't be disturbed."

"How long?"

"It depends. It could be months. But even few years."

I felt my heart shatter into million pieces. Would Toby remember me? Would everyone forget me? I don't want to leave!

"I know you don't want to leave but it's necessary."

Oh of course she can read my mind. I could feel my sadness and anger grow bigger just like I felt the heat of energy in my body and in the air around it. I closes my eyes and stood up and thought of a better place to be at.

I teleported and a blast of my red energy went everywhere around me. I was at the old black and white carnival of the one, the only, Laughing Jack in the box. I was standing at the carousel we have been on. I sat down on it's stairs and broke into tears. At the start silent but growing loud. I don't even remember the last time I cried like this.

I was crying there for few minutes starting to get cold, feeling the cold wind biting into my skin through Toby's hoodie.

I didn't even notice Jack coming towards me until he was in front of me. He kneeled over and held my hands away from my face.

"What's wrong? And why are here? I thought you don't like clowns and carnivals."

I managed to stop sobbing for a moment.

"Slendrina said my training will be away from everyone for months or even years!"

I started crying again. Jack proceeded to pick me up and kinda hug me.

"What are you doing?"

"Being you inside the food stand. It's the warmest place here. I won't leave you freeze out here."

He seemed so troubled and serious. The opposite of the Jack I knew. He got me to the food stand and sat me inside on a little chair he had there. It was too small for him. But just enough for me. He started the heater for oil used for fries to make the place even warmer.

"Thank you Jack."

I said drying my eyes.

"I didn't knew where to go. I wanted to go somewhere happy where I could cry for a bit."

"Crying is the opposite of being happy [Y/N]."

"I know Jack. But the place I see as happy can be comforting, you know?"

"I do."

He said sitting at the floor with his knees to his chin. He was so tall. He seemed like a strange object here, but he still somehow fit in.

"It's not fair..."

"Life isn't fair..."

Damn even Jack seems depressed now. He seems so sad.

"Jack are you okay?"

"If I was I wouldn't be a murdering clown."

"You know what I mean."

"We'll figure a way that you'll be able to stay in contact, or stay. We have to."

"Why would you try that? Slender will tell us to fuck off."

"Because you're my friend, my family. Maybe a little sister? Who cares. You're my family and no one is keeping my family from me."

I was silent for a moment. Does he really mean that? He takes me like a younger sister? That's the sweetest thing ever.

"Thanks Jack!"

I said as I basically launched at him to hit him. We both laughed and he got us both up.

"Okay. Now let's get you some candy for even better mood."

"Candy?!"

"You're on a magical carnival. OF COURSE CANDY!"

"YAY!"

He basically started to carry me around behind his neck like fathers carry kids. I laughed when we entered the big tent and he got me off.

"I'm going to get some of my candy that isn't poisoned."

"Thanks."

He came back with a pack of jelly beans.

"Here you go Matt."

"Thanks Jack. You're great."

He smiled.

"Thanks."

I started eating the candy while he made s little show just for me to get my mind of Slendrina.

Guess what! I'm not dead XD. Here have a new chapter. This story isn't too popular so I sometimes forget I write it and should upload more XD sorry. Also school and stuff blah blah blah. Just enjoy. Author-Chan Sullu Siren.
