(Kirsa's POV)

My mind. My thoughts. My sight was blurred. Like I was living in this world that wasn't real. Like I was in a dream. Or a bad memory. 

Sharp pain was going through my whole body. Partially, in my neck. 

I can remember, a beastly looking teenager, coming towards me. He pinned me to the ground. I think he ate a part of my neck off, I was then knocked out. That is when the fuzzy thoughts and memories started appearing. 

The pain was starting to tone down. The flashblacks were starting to have less intensity. A sense of reality was coming back to me. 

I was now able to control my actions and thoughts, I could finally put this whole scene into real sense. 

From what I gather, that the fellow who attacked me, had bitten my neck, and sucked blood out of me. That means he is not human, he is a monster, a vampire. 

Then what does that me. A vampire? A human? Nothing? 

A final wave of pain came through my soul. I screamed.

(Kyle's POV)

I was abruptly woken by a loud noise. 

My earbuds were still blasting "Monster". My slumber had relaxed my state, and the lyrics no longer related to my mood. I guess I need to find need to find another relateable song.

That doesn't matter I need to find where the noise that woken me up had came from. I looked around the cave to see if it had came from inside. I glanced to the right, and then I definitely knew it came from inside. 

The girl was awoken. She was sitting, opened eyed, at the end of the cavern. We looked into each others eyes for a moment, before the yelling commenced again. 

Her eyes were a bright red. The eyes of a vampire demon. She was now one of us. 

"YOU!" she belted out "YOU ARE A VAMPIRE!" 

"Yes, yes, I am." I told calmly "How bout you come over here,  and we can chat?" She started walking towards me, but then broke out into a sprint. "Bye!" She jumped off the cliffside. 

I couldn't let her go like this. She probaly doesn't even know that she is a vampire demon. She can't control her senses, or powers. If she goes on her own she is going to get herself killed. I had to save her, for the second time today. 

I ran off the cliff. I then transformed into a bat. My limbs and torso became shorter, changing in size and color. My head transformed into a bat shape. The only thing that stayed the same were the shape of my eyes.  

I spread my arms- i mean wings, and flew towards the girl demon. After two minutes I was finally caught up with her, and glided to her level. 

My jaw opened wide, and I bit down on to the collar of her shirt. I then picked her up into the air, where she was struggling. I teleported her back to the cave. 

I let go of her, and changed back. My power was yet again drained, I was now weak and vulnerable. The power of the girl was drained too, I could sense it. 

She was sitting right next to me. "So I'm a monster, like you." 

"Yes, I guess you could say that." I replied "But to be exact, we are vampire demon's. By the way, my name is Kyle." Looks like I'm going to have to give her the talk, about what we are.

(Kirsa's POV) 

Well, what an action packed day. Became a monster. Escaped. And now learning about who I am. 

I learned that I am a Vampire Demon, like, Kyle. And that we feast on human flesh. But that we are extraordinary, creatures that have the advanced speed, senses, and powers. We can also turn into bats. And this is just the start. We may also have extra powers, that are unique to us. I can't wait to find out what are mine. 

I'm can't wait for the future. Yes I may be sad, that I can't see my family or friends ever again, but for some reason I am now given an sense of excitement. 

"I'm sorry, Kirsa" Kyle blurted out of nowhere. 

"Why? I'm happy that I'm a demon!" 

"Huh? But I'm happy! I don't mind that I have to forget my past!" 

"Seriously?" 

"Seriously. I'm actually excited for the future!" 

"Well if your so serious, then how about tomorrow, we begin training!
