7- Funeral

|This chapter contains cussing and gore.|

-Blaza POV-

This is chaos!

"BOTH OF YOU STOP!" I heard Tbh yell.

It looked like he and Oof were trying to get Woolf and Meme to stop fighting. If they stopped everyone else would stop. Woolf had mostly stopped but Meme wasn't listening. Tbh hugged him and pulled him back.

Oof and I broke up the rest of the fights after that. Woolf, Meme, and Laff looked the most injured but nobody had died, which was a good thing. I saw Woolf's team get behind him and we all got behind Meme.

-Dino POV-

We could have just ended this. But nooo 'we should stop fighting it's not solving anything', I don't care Blaza.

"We's still need to hold the funeral. Let's do that, then we can continue with the war." Laff called. His voice was tired and rough.

"Fine." Meme and Woolf mumbled.

Meme's team started walking off, Tbh helping Meme walk, Laff limping along. Nadwe and Muffin did some real damage to him, and I was proud.

I looked at our injuries compared to theirs. Not bad. Most everyone only had scrapes and bruises however, Woolf had a huge cut on the back of his thigh that was bleeding heavily.

"You guys go ahead, I've got Woolf." I said. They walked off.

"I'm fine. You go ahead." Woolf said through his teeth. His breath was shallow and rattled, it was clear he was in a lot of pain.

"No. I'm gonna bandage you up before WE go." I replied.

I got behind him and squatted down. The cut didn't seem infected but if it wasn't bandaged soon, that could change. I wrapped the bandages around his thigh before standing up and facing him.

"Alright. You bandaged me. Now go." He said. He started limping forward but it would be a long time before he made much progress.

"It'll take forever if you continue like that." I mentioned.

"No.. It.. Won't.. Shut up.." He huffed. He had barely gone 3 meters and he was already tired. (Metric is so much easier than the US standard system. A meter is about 3 feet for the rest of the Americans reading this) I walked over to him and picked him up. My arm was underneath his legs and my other arm was wrapped around his back.

"I don't need you to carry me!" His face was bright red.

"I disagree." I laughed.

I walked him to the church where almost everyone was sitting outside. Two people, other than us, were missing but I couldn't tell who so I left it. I sat Woolf on the ground.

"I have to go get something, I'll be back." I said. I ran off to our base, just to grab a book.

-Nadwe POV-

"Really Meme? 'I'm adopted'? You've told me this a bajillion times. You seriously need better insults." I said, rolling my eyes.

"No. I mean you're ACTUALLY adopted. Wictoria and I adopted you. I was going to tell you sooner but I couldn't talk to you." He responded.

Wait WHAT?! He's lying. There's no way I'm ACTUALLY adopted.

"Liar." I mumbled.

"I'm not lying, Nadwe." He responded.

"S-so does that make you my dad?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said. "By the way, what did Dino mean before we started fighting? About you and Muffin burning?"

"Oh uh- Nothing! He was joking." I lied.

He may be my dad but he's also my enemy. I'm NOT telling him I'm a vampire.

"Ok. Well.. This is kinda awkward. Let's just uh- head outside." He said.

We walked outside. He walked to the left where his team was and I walked to the right.

I saw Oof, Joocie and Woolf lying on the ground, with Muffin standing nearby. I walked to Muffin.

"What'd he tell you?!" Muffin asked.

I dropped my voice to a whisper "I-I'm adopted. He literally adopted me."

"WHAT?!" Muffin yelled.

"Shh. I don't want anyone else to know he's my dad yet." I responded quietly.

"Fine. Did you tell him you're a vampire?" He asked.

"No. He may be my dad but he's still an enemy and we don't need him knowing." I replied. "Hey where's Dino? He brought Woolf but I don't see him anywhere."

"Oh he went back to our base to grab something." Muffin explained.

"We'll go in whenever Dino gets back." Laff called to us.

-Dino POV-

Almost there.

I was running through Laff's wheat as a shortcut to the church. And I was also purposely destroying as much as I could without going out of my way. I got back and everyone started going in.

"Don't you dare." Woolf mumbled.

"Yeah~ Not happening." I laughed.

I picked him up and brought him in, my book still in my hand.

We reached the front row then Woolf said "Ok. You can put me down now."

"You're right. I CAN." I laughed.

I sat down and moved my hands to be around his waist.

He looked back at me, surprised, frustrated, and blushing madly.

"Let me go!" He said, trying to squirm out.

"Nuh uh." I smiled.

He stopped moving, realizing it was pointless.

I still had the book in my hands, I knew which page I needed.

"Alright everyone sit down!" Laff called. His voice was really raspy. Then again Muffin and Nadwe almost killed him so that was kind of self-explanatory.

I looked around.

Idiot. Everyone IS sitting down already.

"We stand here today with a dark cloud over our lives, A very, very sad time for all involved indeed."

I felt Woolf bury his face in my neck. I opened my book and flipped to page 188. Perfect. The page with the definition of 'no'. I threw it over to Meme's head. It hit him square in the ear.

"OW! HEY WHAT THE HELL?! WHO THREW THAT?!" He yelled.

(I got my dictionary out for this)

"I did." I smirked. "Look at the fifth word of the second column on page 188."

"'No? Not any, adjective, expresses a negative reply to a question or request?' REALLY?! I'M AWARE OF THE DEFINITION OF NO!" He yelled. He threw the dictionary back at me.

"You are now." I responded, catching the book.

I heard Woolf laugh, and he hugged me.

"Could you'se, PLEASE BE QUIET!" Laff yelled.

It went silent.

"Thank you." Laff sighed, his voice even raspier than before."Meme, would you like to come say something?"

"Yes." He cried.

I rolled my eyes. Then I heard...

"Muffin! Shh! Everyone can hear your pacman game!" Nadwe said, behind me.

"I don't know which one is the volume dial!" He whispered.

"This one!" Nadwe said, lowering the volume.

"Thanks." Muffin replied.

Meanwhile Meme was crying up front. I got an idea.

I whispered into Woolf's ear. He looked up and nodded.

"BOO~!!" We both said at the same time.

Everyone on Meme's team started yelling indistinctly at us, but the one thing I heard clearly was,

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" Meme yelled, running down to us.

"No." Woolf replied.

"Great I'm glad we agree."

I threw the dictionary back at him, still on page 188.

"Nadwe why don't YOU come up and say something?" Meme asked, clearly unhappy at being educated.

"Fine." Nadwe mumbled.

Why Nadwe? Why not someone from HIS team?

He reached the front and started talking.

"Hey Wictoria- er I'm sorry Meme's too much of a moron to see that WOOLF CLEARLY DIDN'T KILL YOU!" He said, turning to face Meme at the last part.

I felt Woolf's head flop against me. I looked at him. He looked tired, and really bored.

"That's it. We're leaving. You idiots are too dumb for us to stay. And too adopted." Meme said, limping out. Tbh ran after him to help him along. Everyone else left, Laff in the back, glaring at us, Muffin and Nadwe especially.

"What now?" Joocie asked.

"Eh I guess we head back and get ready for war." Woolf said.

I picked him up as we headed out again, and this time, he gave no struggle.
