Lets talk
"Excuse me, Mr. L/n? Um, quick question, why does your son live with the red leader???" Tord asked my dad eagerly.
"He lives there because he wanted to be close to the red army." He said, averagely as he sat on the couch reading a news paper.
"Oh, ohh, okay then. That definitely makes sense." Tord shot. My dad glared at him then I thought came to him.
"If there wasn't two red army soldiers, or the fact that you are the red leaders son, I swear, I would have... Ugh, never mind." He gave up, to which I was completely shocked of.
The shit?! He gave up that easily?!
My dad knew I didn't want to talk to him, but I'm pretty sure he definitely didn't mind.
But we did really need to have a talk.
Am I going to the red army or not?
If I go, I'll see my brother there more often, but then again, I don't want him to watch me torture people.
Torture people? There's no way I'm doing that, but there's no way I'm going on the battlefield.
Do I run away again? But then again there's no where to go. I can't go back home because they know where the house is now.
So there's no where to go...?
Police? No, the red army is stronger then that.
Me staying home here forever? No, I don't like my dad.
So there only one way to solve this...
"Dad I think I'll just be the red army's ripper." I peeped out, to which he placed his news paper down and faced me.
"What?" He asked, looking a little surprised.
"Y-you heard me." I shuddered out.
I no longer will I want to feel fear of my dad. No. I refuse to be scared any longer.
"Well," he stood up, walking towards me. "That's great!" He said, smiling.
Smiling.
"My little girl is finally going to make me proud! Yes! Thank the lord for this!" He said, then, he grabbed me in a hug. I just stood there, now knowing what to do.
So I padded his back.
Awkwardly.
Then he laughed at me.
"Hugging!" My little brother yelled out. Then he ran up to us and hugged our legs. Then it was my turn to laugh. I placed my hand on his head as my other one was on my dad's side and I smiled,
I know. I'm hugging the man who made my life so depressing and torn, but this moment he said he was genuinely proud of me, made me feel the love I'm finally getting from my own dad.
Now I know I half to be the ripper.
And maybe I'll do it by my own choice.
Flash!
We all heard an old camera go off, to which me and my dad looked up and saw my mom with the camera. "Members." She said, smiling as she took the little peace of paper that came out. She took it and waved it in the air.
She looked at it and then glared at Paul for some reason.
"What?" He asked.
Me and my dad stopped hugging, but Thomas still held my leg. She same up to me as she showed me the picture.
I know all of us hugging would be the first thing to be noticed, but no.
Half of Paul's body was in the picture. Not only that, he was smiling weirdly and doing a peace sign with his hand.
It even showed Patryck trying to stop him but was to late.
Ha, even Tord was awkwardly standing behind the hugging family, not even knowing what to do.
But other then all that, the picture was beautiful. We actually looked like a family that cared for each other. Well, now we did.
"We can take another one later." I said to her, smiling.
"Okay. Do you want to keep that?" She asked, pointing at the picture. I smiled again.
"Yes please." I said, smiling down at it.
//time skip//
"So are you serious going to join? And not mind?!" Tord asked, throwing his hands in the air.
"I mean, yeah? I still go against it but I half to." I told, crossing my arms as I sat atop of my bed.
My dad was packing just a few things to go to the actual red army base. That was actually a secret, but since we were all apart oh it already, nothing bad would happen.
"How do you think I feel about it?" He asked, narrowing his eyes at me.
"Look. I know how you feel. You'll do great as a leader! I know it!" I said, smiling up at him.
He narrowed his eyes again and then dropped it, now smiling down at me and his back went back to calm state. He took a breath and closed his eyes. "I hate my fucking life but thanks." He laughed slightly. "Are we done talking? I want to go down stairs." He said, stuffing his pockets with his hands.
"Whatever, just get out red leader." I teased, to which he rolled his eyes.
"Don't call me that."
"Yet."
"Yet."
Then he walked out.
I sighed, then looked around my room. Old stuff. Yes, it's all very old. Such as just old trash, old markers and pens in the cup I had on my desk. Book shelves, bathroom. Memories...
I forced my mind to not think about old memories. Instead, my mind went back to Tom.
That kiss... I'll never feel the way it felt again. I told him I loved him, and he didn't say it back.
I lied to him.
I lied to everyone.
My life was over, and now I have a new one.
Start out new.
Now that I think about it, I'm probably going to move a lot. Go to Norway, join meetings, also torture people a lot.
What if I wrote letters to them.
Later. I'll do it later.
"Y/n! We're going!" My dad yelled. I jolted as he yelled for my name. But then I remember we're all buddy buddy now. I sighed and got up from my bed.
I don't think I'm gonna be home that often too.
//time skip.//
We were at the red army base.
And it looked bigger then what I imagined...
It was in the middle of no way, but there was trees everywhere.
There was five buildings.
The biggest building was for us. Me Tord my dad and tord's dad. Or where all the best solders are, like Paul and Patryck and Susin.
The other, other! big building was for like the foot soldiers and others.
The radio station was on another area, while just nursing building was the smallest one, but Susin also worked there apparently.
And her brother!!! (And Larry).
And then the other building was like the air port stuff. That's where the planes come and go obviously.
You know I really need to know what these buildings are called. I'm an amateur here.
We were headed to mane building where we would be talking with the red leader. At first I thought it would be easy, but as I saw Tord's uneasy face when Paul and Patryck said we would be talking to him, his face changed to an uneasy one, which made me feel nervous.
"What's wrong? Is he that bad?" I asked in a whisper as I came to him. I frowned my eyebrows as I waited for his response.
"No I just," he paused. "I just dropped something in there." He said, not even looking at me.
"Huh? Like what?" I asked, as I rose my left right eyebrow.
"My uh... My book.." He admitted.
I shrugged knowing what he means. "You dumb." I said weirdly. We finally made it to the three story building.
Right now we walked the halls until we got in a elevator.
Me, Tord, Paul, Patryck, my dad and my brother were all in the elevator together.
Awkwardly.
The doors opened and we all walked out. We walked the halls again but this time my dad and brother walked a different direction. "Wait, where are you guys going?" I asked, looking at them as they walked further away.
"I'm going to my room." My brother yelled out as he kept walking.
"Oh yeah, he lives here." I said out loud.
We kept walking until they stopped me from walking and we stood outside two doors. "Is this it?" I asked, looking up at the door.
"Yup..." Tord said.
Paul sighed and knocked on the door and waited. We heard a small "come in" and some coughs with it. We walked in and there he was.
He was hunched over his desk, uniform and cape (which I didn't think was necessary if you ask me), cigar in the right hand.
The room gave off a vibe of loneliness. But there were windows in the back of the room but the curtains were closed, and only light shines threw the little peep holes.
"Father, what did say about smoking?!" Tord said, then walking up to his own dad and snatching it away from his hand. The red leader did not react. "These kill your lungs dad! And it might make you die faster since you're sick!" Tord complained, now butting out the cigar on the large table he sat in.
I started to think.
Is Tord always like this to his dad?
Caring? Worried? Concerned?
Well I guess that's obvious. He's his dad after all.
"Yes, I know Tord." He said, still looking at the papers on his desk. "You just want me to live longer so you won't become the leader." Then he finally looked up to me which made me feel anxious a bit. "Take a set miss
L/n. We half to have a small meeting." He said, as I looked down at the chair in front of me. So I sat down.
I heard Tord let out a scoff. "What do I do?" Tord asked, eyeing his dad as he ignored what he said.
Nothing like father and son...
"You can go to your room. But you still need to have someone with you to watch you." He said, looking up at his son.
"Great." Tord said.
"Excuse me sir, I'll go with Tord." Patryck said out loud.
"No. I think I'll be kind and go with him, Pat." Paul said, trying to sound kind.
"No. I think I should go." He said back.
I could tell where this was going.
They don't want to be in the same room...
But pretending to be kind and all to not get in trouble by the red leader.
"No, I think you're tired. You should. stay. Here." Patryck said threw his teeth.
"No, I'm not tired dear, Patryck!" Paul said, a little louder then before. They both smiled but they weren't real smiles. "So I'll go and you can rest!"
Then, the red leader slammed his hand on his desk. "Or," he hissed, making me get chills on my spine. "You both go with Tord." He dead panned.
"On it sir! Let's go Tord!"
"You won't regret it! Come on Tord!"
"Again... Great." Tord sighed.
Then they both walked out, leaving me and the red leader alone.
"Okay." He said, making me look at him as he adjusted himself in her chair. "Let's talk about the ripper busyness."
Here goes nothing...
A/n
I feel like this was trash.
I wasn't focused enough on writing today but I felt like I just needed to post.
So I feel like nothing special happened in this beside talking to the red leader.
I'm gonna spoil somethings today...
There's gonna be a massive time skip...
Lolol! But I hope you enjoyed thissss.
