AU NAME: Lost Shade (LS)

Apollo leaned forward, grabbing the Knight's wrist.

Immediately, he was plunged into darkness. He heard hundreds- thousands?- of voices whispering; he only caught snatches of the conversation: radiance- again- empire- we will rise- past.

He recoiled away, shuddering. "Is that...?"

The Knight stared up at him with its empty eyes. They nodded, rubbing their wrist like they'd been burned.

Apollo winced. Knowing him, they probably had. "Sorry. I'd heal it, but..."

He couldn't. Their shoulders shook with laughter, and they gave him a loose salute before disappearing.

A/N: Alas, I can never resist making Ghost a terrifying little creature. Would they be a demigod by PJO standards?
