Axel's POV

well, this is it Darkness...I'm sorry I couldn't make it Mom...Dad...Rachel... I'm sorry that my death will be affected to you guys, please...don't waste your tears over my death, waste them on their happy moments...Damian please keep Rachel happy, she needs the comfort and help that she needs, I'm begging you. Now I'm just hope that one day I could of start something new...but what?

"Hello young one" I heard a Echoed female voice and I feel my eyes opening and I look around and I see nothing but Darkness with purple smoke covering me, and I sit up and I see that I'm sort of... I have no idea where I am I get up and notice that the purple smoke only covered my feet and I'm still wearing the hospital gown "don't worry I mean no harm" the voice said once again.

I look around before I look up and I notice a familiar bright purple symbol Up in the Sky as My eyes widen with shock.

"Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu?" I questioned as a Giant Black Hummingbird like creature with orange lighting on it appears right in front of me.

"That's right, I'm the Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu. I heard your plead of starting new, but what if I tell you if there's a way for you to do that" the Yugi-oh Monster said to me.

I tilted my head confusedly "how come?" I asked.

"You can reincarnate to another world that is not the world that you used to live" I look back and I see a familiar floating woman with Cerulean hair color, and I immediately knew who that is.

"Fortune Lady Every" I said which the humanoid duel monster giggled for someone knowing who she is.

"That's right Axel, like Every said you will be reincarnated in whatever world you want to live" Aslla said to me.

I nodded "Okay...but what does have to do with you guys?" I then asked.

"Listen...Carly...has died...and not that she lost her soul in the netherworld type of death" Fortune Lady Every said.

Hearing this made me wide my eyes with shock the Only Character I could relate so much died "how?"

"Is better to show you than explaining" Fortune Lady Every said as her scepter lit up and the room light up showing like a street "this is where it happened" Every explained as from a distance we see a familiar dark green hair woman with Glasses walking up down the block with two paper bag I'm guessing she was grocery shopping then we heard a sound of a alarm and we see two three motorcycles flying out of a building window she them pulls out something from her pocket and she pull out her phone and sees the caller ID: Jacky which she answered

"Jack?" I heard Carly's voice when I look back, I see that she's talking to Jack on the phone.

"Carly! Where are you!? Eli sensed trouble, in your location. Are you Okay!?" Jack asked in a worry matter.

"I-I'm fine just see three with what I believe are stolen Duel-runners" She explained to him "Sorry I'd worried both you and Eli" She added.

'Eli...who's Eli?' I wondered in my thoughts.

"Oh, thank goodness, Okay, get home safe, please" Jack tells her.

I notice a hooded figure sneaking up from behind Carly which I gasped and runs towards the hooded person, but I run through him which surprised me.

"Don't worry Jack I will be-Ah!" Carly said before being taken by the male making her drop her phone "Aaah! Jack! Help me!" Carly said before she and the male were no longer on sight.

"Carly? CARLY!" Jack's voice was heard before everything was black again.

"She was kidnapped, and Jack was worried" I stated.

"Yes..." Aslla said "Carly was taken and then beat up to death by her kidnapper" she explained.

"Was Jack...too late to save her..." I asked Both Aslla and Every nodded with sad expression even though is hard to tell in Aslla Piscu's case, but I can feel her sadness "I'm so sorry" I said tearing up "She didn't deserve that" I added. 

Every shake her head "don't worry about it Axel, is not your fault...so since she died we found you since you're somehow similar to Carly only male, and we need a new duelist to use us to find who killed Carly" She said before I notice my body lit up in yellow "Oh no we've been in too much time hurry think of where you want to reincarnate!" Every said before she and Aslla vanishes out of thin air. 

I close my eyes and think before the next thing I heard are bird singing I reopen my eyes and I see that I'm in some bedroom and I look around I was confused "huh? what happened" I asked myself, but I noticed something my voice sounded a different that I normally sounded less deep than usual but is something I looked at a near mirror in front of me and I see that I'm wearing a Black leather jacket over a dark orange-ish brown shirt underneath adding some black knee ripped jean pants and Orange shoes.

I looked at myself from a reflection and I also noticed that I'm no longer chubby and my freckles are not there anymore I now skinny with silky black hair my eye color remained the same and I'm still wearing glasses for some reason I reminded myself of Akira Kurusu from Persona 5 wait...I do look like him...coincidence? something for another time I got up and I look on my right and I see a stack of Yugi-oh cards I pick them up and I sense familiarity in these cards when I see them my eyes widen with shock and disbelief when I see all six fortune Fairies, Ladies, Every, Aslla Piscu, and so many cards that Carly used in the Anime both before and while she was a dark signer. I can't believe it I have these in my hands.

"You're awake!" I heard a pitchy voice and I look around until I see a floating see-through little girl in front of me and I knew immediately who it is 

"Fortune Fairy Hikari!" I stated which made the spirit fly around me happily. 

"Yay! you do know me!" Fortune Fairy Hikari said cheerfully before giggling.

"I do, but I'm also surprise that I'm able to talk to you like this?" I admit.

Hikari shrugs "Well I'm here to help you out learning about this world that you're living for now on" she tells me.

"Well, I guess I'll learn how to adapt to this world huh, Hikari?" I asked the yellow floating spirit who nodded at me.

"Carl! Breakfast is ready!" I heard the sound of a woman singing from outside of the room

"I think that's my mom" I muttered which Hikari nodded.

"Yep, you better go there before she worries" she said.

I nodded before walking out of the room 'man I didn't get the chance to watch Arc V. I heard that is a good one but I'm not sure, I'll just have to wait and see how this series turns out.' I thought as I look forward to what will come from here.

As I walk downstairs, I hear the same woman's voice who I believe is my mother "Morning Carly dear, I made your favorites before you head off" she said which made me sweat drop. My mom has a beautiful silky hot pink hair with pale blue eyes and wears a simple long-sleeved blouse, and long skirt that reaches down to her ankles.

"Thanks, mom but is the Carly nickname necessary?" I asked only to be pulled into an embrace by my mother.

"Even if you'll turn 66 years old, you'll still going to be my sweet little baby Carly!" she stated ruffling my head.

"Mom you just added an Y to my name" I said completely embarrassed.

"I know is cute!" She replied joyfully before letting me go.

'She won't back down from this...' I thought before signing before sitting down and eat my breakfast.

-time skip-

I walk out of the house and decided to take a walk around the neighborhood as then I heard a familiar voice is heard. 

"Hello, young master" the voice said which it made me jump and almost fall on my butt I look back and I see a transparent blue woman floating right behind me "Apologies, it was not my intention to startle you-" she then said before I cut her off.

"Fortune Lady Water" I said recognizing the duel spirit before me.

"Indeed, is me Young Master" she replied.

I wave her off "Just Carl is fine don't need to call me that, Water" I said "Hey Water now that we're talking, do you happened to know about this particular world that we're currently in?" I asked.

"Barely all I know that is not the older...series that you know" Fortune Lady water said but I can tell the unsureness in her tone of voice when she said the word series. Just as Fortune lady water was going to explain further, we were interrupted by a very loud and very angry voice.

"Yuya! Come back here!"

Third Person's POV

A young girl with pink hair, a red skirt and a grey-white school shirt was chasing with what seems to be a large paper fan a boy with green and red hair, green trousers, a white jacket and a red undershirt, while 3 kids walked behind them not bothering with the situation, like it was a casual thing.

"You know what? is better yet to experience this world without knowing" Fortune Lady water before vanishes out of existence leaving the ravenette male with glasses confused.

"Wait don't go! Water!" Carl calls out the Fortune Lady but there wasn't any response he then sighed 'I guess I have no other choice, huh?' he thought not aware that he's about to get run over by a red and green hair male.

"Please Yuzu! I said I was sorry!" the male said as he turns to the angry female who he called Yuzu to plead with her and she only grunted in response but quickly snapped out of her anger when she was that her friend was about to bump into someone.

"YUYA! WATCH OUT!" Yuzu yelled warning the guy who she was chasing after.

Carl slowly turns "What is-" he said as he turned around only to see that it was too late to see the upcoming boy who collided with him, casing Carl to drop his cards, which were now all scattered on the ground. Yuzu covered her mouth in horror as she and the kids walked over to the other guy who happened to be called Yuya.

"Yuya! Are you alright?" Yuzu asked Yuya.

the red and green hair male nodded "Yeah, I'm fine... the ground is actually softer than I thought" Yuya replied as he chuckles.

Yuzu sweat drops "Yuya that's not the ground..." she tells her fallen friend.

the two then hear a groan of pain "Ow...what the heck?"

Yuya looked down only to see that he was resting on top of the guy he accidently bumped into as their eyes met, they both started blushing madly from how close they were to one another as Yuya quickly got up waving his arms around like a mad man.

"I'M SO SORRY, I WASN'T WATCHING WHERE I WAS GOING AND ACCIDENTLY BUMPED INTO YOU!" Yuya apologized while blushing madly.

Carl looks away while blushing slightly "D-Don't worry too much about it..." he said when he sees Yuya and Yuzu in front of him he doesn't know why but he felt like he had seemed them before not in the Yugi-oh from his past life as Axel but somewhere else related to Yugi-oh but can't put a finger on what. Yuya offered his hand to help him up as he was still blushing from embarrassment, even I still had a slight blush on my cheeks for a reason.

"Excuse me, sir" Carl hears a voice of a little girl he looks down and he sees a little girl holding up six cards in her hands "you dropped these" she said.

Carl smiled and took the cards "thank you so much, little one" he said. 

Yuya sees the cards that now Carl is holding "Hey are you a duelist?" he asked.

Carl looks at Yuya with a small smile "I am, actually. I'm Carl Carmine, me and my parents move her just two days ago, I'm just wondering around getting to know the place, I also heard there is going to be a championship coming soon that caught my attention, so I thought it was worth taking part in" he then said.

"That's awesome! We also want to qualify as well" Yuya then said before he gets a sudden idea "Hey Carl, are you by any chance part of a duel school?" Yuya then said to Carl which it got him off guard.

Before Carl could even answer, a loud "SMACK!" was released, it was Yuzu who took out her huge paper fan from seemingly nowhere and smacked Yuya on the back of his head with it, which Carl jumped at the sudden action.

"Yuya! You can't just ask that kind of thing to people you've just met!!" Yuzu yelled at Yuya "and Besides we haven't even introduced ourselves to him" She added which Carl sweat dropped.

"Okay, Carl. I am Yuya Sakaki" Yuya then said.

Yuya is a young teenage boy with crimson eyes, and dual-colored green and crimson hair of average length sticking out in downwards pointing spikes all around his head.  He wears his good-luck charm pendant on a simple string around his neck, and a buckled choker, and a pair of golden goggles with orange lenses on his forehead, with a blue star obscuring the right lens. Yuya wears a simple orange t-shirt with a thick, silver-buckled brown belt over it, green pants with what appear to be "Deck pockets" on each leg, and magenta shoes, as well as crimson wristbands. He also wears his gold and red lined white school jacket over his shoulders like a cape.

"Yuzu Boyle, is nice to meet you, Carl" Yuzu introduced herself.

Yuzu has blue eyes and dark pink midback-length hair, which she wears tied up in pigtails, clipped down by blue, spherical hair clips. Her hair also features two lighter pink bangs that fall to the side of her face. Yuzu's outfit consists of a sleeveless light-blue and white shirt with a green musical note on the right collar, along with a pink tie, which she wears with a maroon skirt, dark stockings, and pink sneakers.

'Yuya...Yuzu...' Carl thought as he tried to remember where he'd heard those names before until he silently gasped as two words pops into his mind 'Duel links...' he thought remembering that he used to play a mobile game called Duel links where he used to play it a lot and has seen those characters before...since he doesn't use them much, so he barely remembers them, Carl gets snapped out of his thoughts.

"Is nice to meet you too" Carl reply before turning to the three kids "and you guys are?" he then asked while crouching to their level.

."I'm Tate Yamashiro. It's nice to meet you" a blue hair little boy said to the taller black hair male.

Tate is a fair skinned young boy with blue hair and shoes. He wears a white short sleeved shirt and brown vest, along with a watch and short khaki pants. Tate has purplish-gray eyes.

"My name is Allie Ayukawa. I hope that we can be friends" the little girl said.

Allie is a red-headed girl with fair skin, golden eyes and a large multi-colored headband. She wears a short cream t-shirt with a striped pink and red long t-shirt. Allie's attire also consists of red skirt and long black tights. She wears brown shoes and has a blue bracelet.

"I'm Frederick Harada. I like to say shivers!" the chubby boy added.

Frederick wears oversized orange shorts and a yellow-green top with a hood. The shorts are held in place by straps over Frederick's shoulders. His blue and yellow shoes have three protrusions each, making them resemble reptilian feet.

Carl smiled at the three children "is nice to meet you too" Carl reply, 'Out of all words in the dictionary why shivers?' he thought as chuckled nervously at Yuzu who still has her giant paper fan in hand "it's okay you can put the fan away, Yuya's question didn't bother me" Carl reassured her.

Yuzu chuckles awkwardly putting her fan away "Oh sorry, it's become quite a habit..." she said.

"Back to your question Yuya, no I'm not affiliated with any Duel School, I haven't even thought about joining one" Carl then said.

"Then why don't you come to You Show Duel School? It's a great place where we learn how to be entertainers and have fun" Yuya then tells the black hair male.

'Fun? Now that's a word that I have long forgotten in my life, when was the last time I was truly happy? That I no longer was in Agony and Pain from the bullying before Cancer came in as the final straw? However, I'm just not sure about one thing' Carl thought.

"Is it a bother? I-I don't think my Deck is quite made for entertainment..." Carl shyly asked.

Yuya shakes his head "Nonsense! I'm sure you will know how to get attention, no matter what your Deck is" he said.

Now that Carl thinks about it, there was a lot of impressive combos to do with Carly's Deck or Decks if you count the fortune Faries, even some that he found to do, but were never shown in the anime. Maybe there are ways he could maybe entertain.

"It Actually-" Carl before being rudely interrupted.

"Hey!"

Carl internally groaned he turned to see that it was a brown and blonde guy with three... Let's say "Goons".

"Not this jerk again" Carl hears Yuzu groaning in annoyance.

Yuya rolled his eyes "What do you want now, Sylvio?" Yuya asked.

Sylvio is a handsome young boy with short light brown and blonde hair, styled in layers, and grayish blue eyes. He generally wears the Paradise Prep School uniform, with his LID badge pinned to the collar.

'Who?' Carl questioned in his mind.

"What!? You really thought you could beat Sawatari-san and get away with it!?" One of the Goon questioned back.

Another goon continues "Now it's time for revenge you scum!" he spoke.

the third goon added "And don't think about running away!" he said.

"That's right Yuya Sakaki! So now get your Deck out and let's settle the score! I won't stand such a humiliating defeat from the likes of you!" the Sylvio Sawatari guy said looking at the group.

'Despite not knowing this Sylvio Sawatari guy. I can easily tell that he has the fattest ego of all Yu-Gi-Oh series, even worse than Kiba, and yet, even a 5-year-old Duelist could beat him' Carl thought before imagining the scene where Sylvio gets beaten up by a toddler boy duelist with a blue eyes white dragon behind him roaring at Sylvio "So... Who's this..."Charming" fellow?" Carl then asked after he chuckled at his imaginary scenario, but you could hear the cringe when he said the word "Charming".

"That's Sylvio Sawatari. He stole Yuya's Pendulum cards and gave him cards he called trash and useless" Yuzu explains as she Looks at Sawatari in disgust "He also dueled him with our lives on the line..." she added which made Carl gasped with shock.

"He did that?" Carl asked which the three kids nodded seemed to be terrified at the memory which something in Carl made him upset seeing the three youngsters sad/terrified "I see..." Carl said before looking at the four while his left eye twitches "Hey you four! You're from LID, are you?" he asked before he smirks Then that means that LID must be a very bad school" he said.

Hearing this made Sawatari and his three goons extremely angry as the You Show crew were having troubles breathing because of their laughter. 

'Did I just said that...I'd never thought of having such confidence in me' Carl thought with shock before getting snap out of his thought by an angry Sawatari.

"What did you say!? I'm Neo New Sawatari! Top LDS student and the best Duelist in Maiami City!" Sylvio yelled at Carl who then looks at him unimpressed.

"Two things. One, I didn't ask for your linage. And two, you're still here whining like a crybaby" Carl said 'And he's lucky that the kids are here, because if they weren't here I would of call him a bitch instead of crybaby' he added in his mind.

"That's it! You're in for it now!" one of the goons said to him.

"Yeah! Sylvio is going to wipe the floor with an amateur like you!" the other added.

Carl just slyly smiled "I doubt that will happen but he's welcome to try" he teases which made Sylvio mad.

As Carl prepared to take out his duel disk, Yuya tried to change his mind about duel his "rival", he'd be more of a rival to him than his actual rival.

"Carl, you don't have to do this, Sylvio is my problem, you don't have to duel him in my place" Yuya tells him while putting a hand on the black hair Male's shoulder.

Yuzu goes to the other side "He's right, Yuya is able to deal with him by himself" she said.

'Hey now that I think about it...I don't think this is the first episode, I remembered watching the first episode, since I didn't get to see either what those two called Sora and Gong? If my duel links memory didn't fail me' Carl thought before he then turns to Yuya and Yuzu with a kindly smile "You don't have to worry about me. An idiot like him won't cause me any problems. Also, it would be rude of me if I just stay here doing nothing while he does his whining" he tells them.

Carl slowly raised his duel disk arm towards him with a smirk on his face. The body folded out just like his, except the blade that materialized was different than any of them have seen. The main part of the blade was straight while each of the ends had a large circular end with wing-like flair to them. It had an orange outline with patterns similar to the stylization of the Nazca Lines. Carl saw this and felt it was reminiscent to the duel disks that the Dark Signers used in the Yugi-oh 5ds show in a way. 

Carl smiles at his duel disk 'Sweet, not as cool as Yugi's, Jaden's or even Yusei's duel disks, but it still matches my taste' he thought.

 "Get ready, Bakatari?" Carl asked Sylvio provocatively.

Sylvio groans in annoyance "is Sylvio!" he yelled.

"Whatever" the ravenette male then said 'He seems really confident about his dueling. I wonder if he is as good as he says?' Carl thought.

"Duel!" Both Carl and Sylvio yelled as their duel started.
