A/N: this Chapter is a Complete Flashback involving the origin of one of my Characters(ocs) and with that and also a warning in advance there will be smut a head in this chapter, so you're warned, and with that enjoy the Flashback chapter.

Third Person's POV

It was a happy peaceful day in Barian world where the people were living in peace and harmony in that place there a little boy name Camillus Heir to the throne of Barian but he's treated like a normal kid by everyone as much as he grew up treating everyone like an equal, a friend everyone loved Camillus he has a older brother the current king of Barian Ragna, who Camillus looks up to and loves very much as he love Camillus, despite his duties he always has time but like many others from praises there's people that despite him for being childish and that he should act more royalty and mature like his older brother. Did their words hurt him? of course they did, but that didn't stop him from changing who he is...but their word hunts his life but he hides it from everyone else so he doesn't burden anyone. One day Barian wasn't as peaceful as it usually was it's getting fallen after a huge destruction.

"Take every citizen and get them as far away possible!" A tall white hair male stated as he put on his duel disk.

The male is a young adult with white spiky hair and heterochromia: his left eye being green and his right being red, a side effect from assimilating the Blue Grimoire into his body. His clothing consists of a hybrid of modern, futuristic and old features. He wears a vibrant red sleeved jacket with two long thin tails hanging from the back. Under it is a black shirt with three red belts and also several belts covering his right arm. He wears a pair of black gloves with a red shell on the backs of the hands. His right arm is a black mechanical prosthetic made of the Blue Grimoire, after having lost his original arm when he was younger. The shell opens up to reveal the grimoire whenever he utilizes it. He wears a black hakama and steel-toed red boots. He also has a small black birthmark on the center of his chest. The Male has a bright green stud earring on his left ear, not on the lobe of the ear but further up.

"Your highness your people are currently evacuating Barian, what's next?" one of the guards asked the White hair male.

"Take Camillus with you I don't want him to be in this fall" He ordered.

"that will only leave you alone..." the male wearing a knight armor stated.

"I am aware of it..." He said.

"Big brother!" they heard a familiar shout they turn and see a white and orange hair male running up to them wearing a gown that you can easily confused it with a dress "Brothers the people are leaving Barian, we must catch up with them!" he tells the male in red who sighed and walk up to him "Brother?" Camillus asked looking at his brother confusedly.

"Listen Camillus...you know you're going to be somewhere safe, safe from this destruction" the older male said

"why are you saying it like I won't ever see you again, brother?" Camillus asked before being pulled to a embrace by the taller male.

"You must go...I love you so much, Pixie" He said calling his little brother by his childhood nickname for the last time "take him" he sadly stated before two guards appeared and grab Camillus by the arms before being taken as the younger male struggles to break free, but the guards fought back.

"W-Wait! Brother don't do this! don't send me away! Please Brother! Please!" Camillus begged as tears roll down his eyes

"Everything is going to be okay...I Promise!" Camillus' brother assured him before Camillus gets pushed in the escape pod and the guards closes the pod before the prince could even run out.

"Open this pod I command you!" Camillus yelled while punching the pod door.

"We're sorry, young master orders from the king" they said before they left.

"Hey, don't leave me here, comeback!" the Prince of Barian yelled as the pod was launched into space, and a rainbow-colored portal appeared above him and his escape pod starts to get sucked in he looks down and sees Barian getting succumbed by a white light explosion "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" he screamed with horror as he gets fully sucked in the portal.

-time skip in earth-

"Hey Gayu, did you expect to be home early since you'd been hanging out with your boyfriends and everything, lately?" An adult woman asked.

"Not today, Mom, they were busy today, so I decided not to bother them, plus the tournament is coming up" a yellow blonde long haired teen male responded.

Gayu is a average height male with yellow, blonde fading to white long hair that reached to mid back tied to a low braid wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a cat head shape design on the center of it. he also wears a black skinny ripped jean pants and white boots.

"I see well make sure you-" the Woman for to be Gayu's Mom said before the two of them hear a knock on the door.

Gayu looks at the door and walks up to it and opens it and sees a Male with Orange and white color hair looking at Gayu with desperation "P-Please... help me."

Both Gayu and his mom looked at each other which they shrug and let the boy in

"So, your name is Camillus?" Gayu asked the white and orange male who nodded.

"Yes, I'm from a far place know as Barian and-" Camilus explained before getting cut off by Gayu's mother who looks at the younger kids with

"Gayu didn't you say that your best friend, Rio and some of your boyfriends are from that place?"

Gayu thought before his eyes widen with shock "You mean like the seven emperors' Barian, Barian?" he then asked.

Camillus nodded "yes... I'm the prince of Barian world, and apparently the last surviving Barian..." he explained with a sad expression.

Gayu notice "you don't have to explain it to us if you're uncomfortable-" he tried to change the subject but gets cut off.

"Is okay, Gayu I'm going to tell you guys about this anyway... Barian exploded inside out in a white light it also took my people with it... I lost my home" the Barian said with pure sadness in his eyes and tears begins to roll down his face.

"Barian's gone?" Gayu then asked, "How are they going to react to this?" he questioned thinking about how some of his boyfriends and best friend would react hearing this news.

"If only I knew where my cousins Marin and Nash are" Camillus stated.

"Marin and Nash? Well, they are here" Gayu said.

the prince looks at the human with widen eyes "you know where my cousins are? I need to see them!" he begged.

Gayu's eyes widen with shock at the new information that Camillus just spatted out "D-Don't worry you will see them, I promise...but not now is already late...I can ask them if they're not busy tomorrow and I can tell you when we can see them in the morning, okay?" Gayu said trying to calm the prince down who sighed and nodded "okay... since you have nowhere to go you can stay here for as long as you need" he then said.

Camillus bows his head "thank you so much" he thanked the blonde boy

"Is nothing, I'm just doing a favor" Gayu replied.

Camillus tries on the new clothes he's wearing and he's wearing a White shirt with a pale pink star design with metalic fabric underneath a open navy hoodie, Camillus also wears normal jean pants and white sneakers.

"You're lucky most of my clothes fits you, well" Gayu said as he puts on his shoes.

"D-Do you think they'll recognize me?" He asked unsurely.

"If they're family of yours, I'm sure they'll recognized you instantly...is a gut feeling its usually not wrong" Gayu explained confidently "Oh there they are" Gayu said pointing at the sibling that are a few feet away from them talking to each other.

Nash also known as Reginald Kastle, but he's well known by the alias "Shark" who has dark blue eyes, pale skin, and dark purple hair, which resembles tentacles hanging down, referencing his Deck theme of aquatic creatures. These "tentacles" slightly resemble pigtails but curl up on the end. He also has a blue gray "crown" in front of his forehead. His accessories include a grey, shark tooth-shaped locket, which contains a family photo of his parents, as well as himself and his sister as children. He also has a scar on his right shoulder. He also wears a grey ring on his right hand, he had another grey ring, but he gave it to his sister. His attire includes a dark purple jacket with green gems on the gray sleeve cuffs over a maroon shirt, dark blue pants, and white shoes adorned with the same green gems

However his younger twin Sister Marin also known as Rio Kastle on earth has dark pink eyes and like her brother, she has pale skin and dark blue hair with light blue bangs. Rio also wears a ring on her right little finger, which was previously owned by her brother. Rio's appearance attracts many initial admirers. Her attire includes a white jacket over a light pink shirt, black stockings, white skirt and shoes. The left coattail of her jacket has a conch-like ornament hanging down.

"Do you happened to know why Gayu called us to meet up with him?" Rio asked her brother.

"What make you think I know?" he asked back.

"You're his boyfriend" Rio reminded him.

Shark raised his brow "aren't you best friends?" Shark asked her.

"Rio, Shark!" they both look to their left and they see Gayu walking up to them as Shark looks at him with a warm smile.

Rio sees this and rolls her eyes "go on Reginald go say hello first I did that last time" she tells him which Shark walks up and Gayu run up and hugs his taller boyfriend who hug him back before sharing a passionate kiss.

Camillus was watching the scene with shock not because of the kiss or any of that is for the fact that he hasn't see them in so long made him a little emotional for him to see.

Shark pulls away "hey pearl" he said calling Gayu by his pet name only to be harshly nudge by his twin.

"My turn!" She said before hugging her bestie.

'Looks like things haven't change from them' Camillus thought giggling.

Rio pulled away "so we're here why you wanted to talk to us for?" she asked Gayu.

"Please tell me that has something to do with Yuma, again?" he asked which Gayu wave him off.

"Not this time, guys... Actually, someone came to see you two" Gayu tells them which the twins tilted their heads.

"See us?" they both said, "Not again!" they both groan annoyingly at the fact that they're speaking at the same time.

"Yeah... does the name Camillus ring a bell for you two?" Gayu asked which the twins eyes widen with shock.

"Camillus...I'd haven't heard that name in a long time...Reginald" Rio said before looking at her brother who nodded without looking at her.

"Yeah, he's our cousin from Barian...w-we thought he was a goner..." Shark explained as he and Rio looked down with sadness clearly missing him.

"What if he isn't" Gayu asked making the twins look at the blonde who look back as Camillus slowly walks up to them.

"Hello Nash...Marin...Is nice to see you guys, again" he said nervously which they gasped with shock and disbelief Rio walked up to the prince.

"Cami?" she questioned which the prince nodded as tears roll down his face.

Rio immediately wraps her arms around her cousin "You're alive!" she stated while crying.

Camillus hugs her back "Oh Marin how I miss your hugs" he tells her

Shark was to stun to speak as he slowly walks up to him "Camillus..." he managed to say without tearing up "Y-You're okay..." he added as his voice cracks before going to hug his cousin as well while silently crying.

Then the three of them formed a group hug "It's been a long time; you have no idea how much I wanted to see you guys... there's so many things we have to talk about most of them are not that good news but I'm saving those part for last" Camillus tells them.

"You can tell them another time...we missed you" she said.

the prince smiled and hugged his cousins tighter "I miss you guys too" he said.

Gayu smiles as he records the scene with his phone and wiping his face from the tears that has been rolling down his face, he'll probably send this to his other friends Tori and Cathy.

"Do you have a alternate identity? like what they call you in this form" Rio asked Camillus.

"Uh... I don't"

"Carmelo! or Melo" Rio stated happily "you'll be known as Carmelo Kastle our cousin!" she said.

"C-Carmelo?" Camillus sweat drop at the name.

"When it comes to names it was her idea, she was the one who decided to name me Reginald" Shark said before feeling his rib jabbed.

"Who would name their child Shark!?" Rio argued as Camillus laugh nervously at the two.

'Things really didn't changed' he thought.

-Time skip-

Camillus now known as Carmelo or Melo was introduce in heartland City and let me tell you he fell in love with the city he was then introduced to Gayu's friends and boyfriends by Gayu, and they were so welcoming to him.

"Prince Camillus!" Alito, Vector, Girag, Mizar and Dumon kneeled to him which the others looked at them confusedly.

"Prince?" they questioned.

"Alito, Vector, Girag, Mizar, Dumon...I appreciate your respect towards me but there's no necessity to kneel to me, stand-up guys" The Prince of Barian tells the five kneeled Barians.

"he's right, it's kind of embarrassing" Shark added.

"Plus call me either Carmelo or Melo" Melo then said as the five guys stand up.

Alitp after he stood up he grabs Melo's hand "is nice to know that you're okay pr- I mean Melo" he said before kissing the back of his hand which made him smile.

"Now, Now Alito don't make your boy jealous in front of him" he said pointing at Gayu who's standing next to him.

"Oh, is fine, Melo is not the first he done that to someone else ask Tori" Gayu said pointing at the green hair female who looks away embarrassed.

"O-Oh! what you look at that Anna's waiting for me, it was nice meeting you Melo, bye!" she said before dashing off.

"Hey guys I'll be taking Melo to the duel school where he can improve his dueling skills right?" Gayu said before looking over at Melo.

Melo nodded "Yeah, after hearing from Gayu of how good you guys are in dueling I felt behind so he recommended me to go to Heartland duel school so I can learn and get better" he explained.

"Well, I know someone who goes there, so I'm taking you there right now, since I believe he's supposed to be there at this time" Gayu said.

"Oh, you mean Kite?" Yuma asked in which Gayu nodded.

"Well, we have to get going see you guys around" Gayu said before giving his a few of his boyfriends a peck on the cheek before heading off with Melo who waved at Rio before catching up with the shorter blonde male.

Gayu and Melo arrived at the Heartland duel school as they both look at the building.

"I-I'm so nervous..." Melo commented looking at the building anxious.

"Hey, don't need to be nervous, Melo you did told me that you know how dueling works" Gayu said trying to cheer the prince up.

Melo looked at Gayu "H-How are you able to be this calm?" He questioned.

Gayu laughed nervously "Or I can be anxious I just know how to hide it better than anyone else" he explained.

"Gayu you're here" Gayu and Melo looked forward and they see a young man who has light blue-grey eyes, pale skin and blonde hair that curls up in a point with a dark green spiked front and bangs. He wears a light pink shirt, brown pants, and braces attached to his Darker brown belt, along with white shoes.

"Hi Kite, how everything" Gayu said before hugging his other boyfriend.

"Oh so... he's the other boyfriend that you mentioned" Melo asked Gayu

Kite looked at Melo "is he the guy you told me about on the phone, Gayu?" he asked his boyfriend.

"Yeah, this is Carmelo Kastle, he may not look like it, but he's Shark and Rio's younger cousin" Gayu explained to Kite.

"By a month" Melo added "but feel free to call me Melo, is nice to meet you" He added before bowing.

Kite nodded "Kite Tenjo, likewise Melo" he said "well I have to take you to the chairman so you can get to the application" he said as the three of them walked into the building.

Melo, Gayu and Kite at a door "we're here, You only have to do is entered and introduce yourself" Kite explained.

"Are you sure? don't I have to do like a entrance exam or something?" Melo asked which Gayu shrugged.

"that'll be his decision" The shorter blonde answered.

Melo nodded "I'm going in" he said as he opens the door and walks in and he silently entered the office "H-Hello My name is Carmelo Kastle and I-I'm new here and-"

"you want to enter our school?" a deep voice is heard by Melo who flinched as the chair turned and it turns out to be a tall, brown-eyed man with matching brown hair that has a small white streak. He wears a gray and white dress coat with a scarf and black armor on his chest. He also wears glasses, dark brown pants, black shoes, and a black glove on his right hand.

"Welcome to Heartland Duel school My name is Welt Yang Principal of this school" the man introduced himself "now to be a official student of this school you have to prove your worth here. Yes, our purpose is to train pro duelist, but we also want to see those duelists improve and prove that they do belong in this school, I can tell that you have what it takes and that you're aware that this isn't a easy path" Welt explained.

Melo nodded "I am... that's why I'm here, I want to challenge myself, I want to grow in my dueling, a few family members has been improving a lot and I felt behind...so I want to enter this school" he said.

Welt looked at Melo for a moment before nodding to himself "Okay, but before I can give you a schedule, I want to see you in action. You will be facing against one of my best duelists we have in this school, and he's supposed to be here at any moment" Welt said.

Then the door opens again and sees a short guy with black and purple color spikey hair walking in he wears tidier and more casual clothes, a black shirt under a black and cream-colored jacket, and a necklace.

"Mr. Yang, I was informed that you wanted to see me" he said.

"Oh Yuto, just the guys I was looking for, I call you here because I have a favor to ask you" he said before looking at Melo "this is Carmelo Kastle, he's just joined the school, and I want to test his dueling skills before sending him to a branch, so I was wondering if you could have the honor to be his first opponent" he tells him.

Melo and Yuto looked at each other before Yuto looked back at Welt "sure, I can do that? when's the duel?" he asked.

"Right now" Welt replied making Melo widen his eyes with shock.

"r-right now?" Melo nervously asked before the two walk off as Melo follows them "w-wait for me!" he stated as he then slows down.

'Everything will be alright...I promise' Melo remembers his brother's words making him frown as he walks up catching up to Welt and Yuto

they arrived in the arena which little did Melo knew it was crowded.

'Why are they here shouldn't they be training?' Melo questioned.

"If you're wondering Carmelo, this is kind of tradition when there's a duel happening everyone stops in what they're doing and see what is about" Welt explained to Melo who slowly nodded.

"You can stay on this side while I go on that one" Yuto said pointing to a further side of the field where the three of them are at before walking off towards where he pointed.

"May the best duelist wins" Welt said before walking out of the field

Melo sees him gone as he hears a duel disks activating "Come on, show me what you got" he hears Yuto yelling from the other side of the field.

Melo looks hesitant before slowly pulls out his disk and looks at the black screen before shaking his head and puts it on before activating it.

"Okay, let's do this" he muttered.

'Don't worry...you'll do great I assure you' Melo hears a unfamiliar voice and looks around and sees no one.

'Who was that?' Melo questioned before looking back at Yuto determine.

"Let's duel!" Both Melo and Yuto stated as their duel starts

Melo: 4000
Yuto: 4000

"Alright I'll go first" Yuto said as he looks at his cards, Yuto them looks at Melo "I summon Phantom Knights Dusty Robe!" he yelled as he places a card on his duel disk.

Phantom Knights Dusty Robe: Atk/800

"Since I control a level 3 Phantom Knight monster, I can special summon Phantom Knights of Silent Boosts from my hand!" Yuto explained as a similar monster to the first one appeared but one of the clear differences was that this one didn't have hands but a pair of legs with some old boots on joined the robe on the field.

Phantom Knights of Silent Boots: Atk/200

"And these two won't be here for long, because I overlay my level 3 Phantom Knights Dusty Robe and Silent Boots to build the Overlay Network!" Yuto said as his two-monster turned into purple spheres of light flying into the sky as on the ground opened a purple and yellow blackhole which the two monsters flew into creating a pillar of purple light. "Souls of knights who fell on the battlefield. Revive here and now and become light that breaks the darkness! Xyz summon! Rank 3! Phantom Knights Break Sword!" he yelled as a bigger monster that's on the field.

From the purple and yellow blackhole came a monster that is the exact replica of the Headless Horseman, with a giant sword and two spheres of purple light floating around appeared on Yuto's field and the horse let out a mighty whinny sound.

Phantom Knights Break Sword: Atk/2000

"Woah..." Melo said with awe.

Yuto looks stared at Melo's look in awe 'He's seemed like he never saw anything like it before' he thought.

"I'll be ending my turn, is your move now" Yuto said making Melo snapped out of his trance and looks back at Yuto and nodded.

"Okay...I draw!" Melo said as he draws a card and looks at his cards before humming "Okay to start off I Activate the field spell Fairy Terrain!" Melo yelled as the field gets covered with pink smokes and pink stars floating around making the spectator who are watching the duel awe "next I'll be summoning Jigglypuff!" Melo yelled a pink Monster with a spherical body. It has pointed ears with black insides and large, blue eyes. It has small, stubby arms and slightly longer feet. On top of its head is a curled tuft of fur as it giggles waving at Yuto.

Jigglypuff: Atk/800

Everyone in the crowd specifically the female looked at the smaller Monster with hearts in their eyes

"now that Jigglypuff is in the field for each Fairy type Monster that are in the field it gains eight hundred points" Melo then explained.

Jigglypuff: Atk/800 - 1600

"I now that Jigglypuff is cute and cuddly looking but since I summoned a level three Fairy type monster on the field it allows me to summon another Monster from that same level, and I choose Cleffairy!" He yelled as a bipedal, pink monster with a chubby, vaguely star-shaped body. A small, pointed tooth protrudes from the upper left corner of its mouth. It has wrinkles beside its black, oval eyes, a single dark pink oval marking on each cheek, and large, pointed ears with brown tips. A tuft of fur curls over its forehead, much like its large, upward-curling tail. Each stocky arm has two small claws and a thumb on each hand and both feet have a single toenail. There is a pair of tiny, butterfly-shaped wings on its back.

Clefairy: Atk/1000 - 1800

"Now I activate Clefairy's second special ability!"

"Second?" Yuto repeated.

"When I summoned Clefairy I didn't mention that I activated Jigglypuff's ability, back with I was saying by discarding one card I can give both Clefairy and Jigglypuff an extra level making them now level four monster!" Carl explained as sent one card from his hand to the graveyard Clefairy floats towards Jigglypuff and both pink monsters begin to dance together making everyone in the crow awe at the two monsters.

Clefairy: level/3 → 4
Jigglypuff: level/3 → 4

"Now I can activate Jigglypuff's ability! I hope you're a fan concerts because Jigglypuff has a big hit that you're going to love so much!" Melo said before winking at him.

Jigglypuff pulls out a microphone out of nowhere and begins to sing.

"Jigglypuff's ability allows it so entertain you with it beautiful making your monster switch to defense mode and..." Melo explained but stopped and points front.

Phantom Break Sword: Def/1000

Jigglypuff finishes singing it sees Phantom Break sword asleep making it puff its cheeks making the girl form the crowd squeal of how adorable Jigglypuff acted. Jigglypuff pull out the head of its microphone turning out to be a marker and goes to the Xyz monster and starts drawing ugly doodles all around it since it doesn't have a face and Jigglypuff jumps back to Melo side of the field.

"And now since Jigglypuff succeeded in activating its ability not only your monster loses six hundred defense points, but it also allows me to draw a new card from my deck" Melo finishes explaining as he draws a card from his deck and nodded.

Phantom Break Sword: Def/1000 → 400

"Since you performed a Xyz monster, I guess it'll be fair for me to also overlay these two cuties to build the overlay network!" Melo yelled as like Yuto's Monsters his two pink monsters turned into yellow spheres of yellow light instead of purple flying into the sky as on the ground opened a purple and yellow blackhole which the two monsters flew into creating a pillar of yellow light.

"Glittering skies of light grows upon the being of life Xyz Summon, Rank 4 Xerneas!" Melo yelled.

From the purple and yellow blackhole came a quadrupedal, stag-like Monster with four pairs of antlers. Its body is always black with a blue stripe down its back and a short, bushy tail. Starting at its knees there is a blade-like trim around each leg, which forms a point under each hoof. There is an upside-down, V-shaped marking on its chest in the same color as the trim on its legs. Its head and neck are blue, and there are two large, tufts that extend onto its chest and curve upward. Its first pair of antlers extends onto its head and curves around the underside of its eyes. The eyes are black with X-shaped pupils. There is a short marking on top of its snout and an upward curving horn on each side of its head in place of ears.

Xerneas: Atk/2600 - 3400

"Hello Melo... I'll be sure to assist you to victory" Melo hears Xerneas' voice echoing in his mind telepathically.

Melo nodded "Alright! Now Xerneas attack! Moon Blast!" Melo yelled as Xerneas gets covered in light and charges at Yuto's monster turning successfully destroying it which to Hiro's surprised he took damage.

Yuto: 4000 - 1000

meanwhile in the stance

"Huh? how come Yuto was able to take damage despite his monster be in defense mode!?" a female voice questioned in disbelief.

the guy next to her hummed before realizing "did he ever explained the effect of the field spell he activated?" he questioned.

the girl thought before realizing "I don't think he did" she said.

back to the duel Yuto looked shocked "How come I was able to take damage?" he questioned.

Melo tilted his head "Oh! I TOTALLY FORGOT!" he yells making Yuto and the two people from the stance fall.

'Of course, he forgot' the three of them thought.

"This is one of my Fairy terrain's effects as long as one of us has a light attribute monster in our hands, we'll receive damage even if the monsters are in defense mode" Melo explained "now I'll be ending my turn with placing two cards face down!" he said as placing two cards on the duel disk and two face downs cards were materialized before vanishes from everyone's sight.

'I'd underestimated him...he's strong' Yuto thought.

Melo looks at Yuto with a smiled "So what do you think, Yuto? My fairy deck can do lot more than just flutter beautifully; you see" he said before his face turned from calm to serious expression "Well fairies are graceful, but they can also possess dangerous hidden fangs" he added which that expression caught Yuto off guard "is your turn now!" He yelled.

"That was a good move Carmelo, but I activate Break Sword's effect from the graveyard!" He yelled catching the prince of Barian off guard "when it's destroyed in battle, I can bring the monsters I used to Xyz summon with one extra level!" he explained.

"Here it comes Lulu" the guy said to the girl named Lulu.

Lulu is young girl who has pink eyes, long dark purple hair which extends past her lower back even when tied up in a bow-shaped style and has shorter, lilac side tails. She secures her hair with a wing-shaped barrette, and feather earrings. Lulu dressed simply in a yellow and white, knee-length dress with white shoes.

"Yeah, I can see that Shay" She replies to her older brother Shay.

Its thin, black, zigzagging tail has a large blue ball at the end about the same size as its body.

Dark Rebellion flew up into the air about to come down on Xerneas, but flew towards Azurill instead but Azurill runs off as the Dragon missed its target, which confused Yuto.
