Third Person's POV

Carl, Yuya, and the others are now gathered together with Declan standing in front of them and David standing next to the gray hair male.

David was the first to decide to start the conversation "I'm for sure a lot of you guys have a questions, I can answer some of them and some others Declan can answer, to start off, Celina, Ace can you two come up here for a moment, please" he said as the mentioned walk up to David "I will like to reintroduce myself, My name is David...and these are my friend, Celina" he said pointing at Celina "and Ace" he continued pointing at Ace "the three of us are from the Fusion Dimension" David confessed making everyone minus Declan, Ace, and Celina look at David with shock even Melo and Carl since they didn't knew about this "and before any of you jump to the conclusion, about us being spies, we're not, and we can assure you" he said as Ace glares at Sylvio.

"W-Why are you glaring at me for!?" the brunette boy asked being intimidated by the cyan and fuchsia hair male's glare.

"Because out of everyone here, Sylvio, you're the most likely to assume such thing before they could even explain why they're against them, which if you ever thinking of interrogate her out of nowhere, none of us should be surprised" Carl explained.

"True" Ace and Melo agreed speaking at the same time.

Sylvio pouted and looked away while crossing his arms and some of the others like Gong, Yuya, and Aura were struggling to hold back their laughter while the others were simply silently smirking/giggling.

'He would' they thought.

"Now for the next question, why is Celina wearing Yuzu's Clothes...I think Celina can explained it better since...it's obvious" David then said making Celina nod at her starry eye friend.

"Like David said, the duelists that some of us saw David and Ace taking down were members of Obelisk force, they were sent to hunt me, well in this case us down and take us back to the fusion dimension" She explained pointing at both herself and Ace "and as for the outfit, she wanted me to have a chance to meet Shay, Yuzu told me about how duel academy had attacked innocent Xyzians, but I couldn't believe her, so she offered me to act as a decoy, so I can find Shay and hear his side of the story, to see if what she has told me about was true" Celina explained.

"So that means..." Yuya looked down with sadness, Carl sees this and brings Yuya in a hug, Yuya felt his eyes tearing up before hugging Carl back tightly "Yuzu... She was like a twin sister I didn't know I had" he said to Carl who kisses the top of the shorter male's head.

"I still don't get it what with this Lancer shit all about?" Yuto then asked.

Declan looks at Yuto "I'm simply trying to save our world, Yuto, once I realize that there were fusion dimension warriors trying to infiltrate our home, I needed to find a way to confront them without causing a panic" he explained as David nodded.

"That's the real reason, for the battle royal's occurrence but there were some holes appearing in the process if it weren't for those who aren't part of the championship getting involve Ace and I would be in a very tight situation" the blonde explained.

"So, you used them!?" Yuto angrily asked.

Melo place a hand on Yuto's shoulder "easy, Yuto; don't jump to that conclusion" he then said.

"I only used the resources available to me, by repulsing the fusion warriors you proof your strength today, but defending our world isn't good enough, we have to take the battle to the fusion dimension, I understand that is too much to asked, but I'm asking you to help us preventing our world fall the same fate as the Xyz dimension" Declan then said making the Xyz trio frown in anger/sadness.

Weiss looks at Shay with concern and guilt, though he had nothing to do with the invasion but at the same time, he was feeling sorry that he couldn't do anything about it despite not knowing anything about this but then remembers something and goes to his duel runner.

Shay looks over at the white hair male "Weiss?" he questioned as everyone else looked at the white hair Synchro user who pull out something from his runner.

Weiss pulled a fusion dimension duel disc which Ace, Celina, and David widen their eyes "I took this from one of the soldiers who I unfortunately lost them as he escaped with the other soldiers, I thought if it be enough help for you" Weiss said as handing Declan the disc.

Delcan looks at the duel disc and takes it he looks back at the white hair male "say what was your name, again?" he asked.

"I'm Weiss, I'm from the Synchro Dimension" Weiss explained.

"So, there's a Xyz Dimension, Fusion Dimension, and Synchro Dimension" Reed muttered to himself as his new fisher friend groaned like he just has his mind blown up.

"Man talking about TMI" he said.

"I'm activating the Action field Spell, Neo Heartland City!" they all heard Declan yelling as the scenery changed into the same action field that Shay once was when he dueled Sora which it didn't brought joy to neither him or Yuto or Melo.

"Heartland is located in the Xyz Dimension" Celina commented.

"Or was located; it's nothing more than an empty shell" she heard Shay said making everyone look at him "Because of you Fusionites!" he then yelled angrily.

Melo place a hand on Shay's chest "Shay, take it easy" Melo tells him Shay shuts his eyes and grunts as he sees memories of how peaceful his home was and how it fell which made the white hair Synchro user looks at him with concern.

"Although, it's true your people took everything from us, our friends, family, everything we knew, and love turned into cards and Ashes" Yuto angrily stated with his eyes shut.

"Yuto?" Melo warned.

"Declan Akaba..." Yuto opens his eyes and see that they're glowing, activated his awakening making Melo, Ace and Carl gasped "I'm ending this now!" Yuto yelled.

"Yuto, stop!" Melo yelled pulling Yuto back and dragging him away from the group.

Shay looks at this with shock "Yuto..." he muttered.

"Let me go, Melo!" Yuto angrily yelled.

Melo shook his head "I won't, I don't want you to go insane and do something that you're going to regret later on, this is not what you want! You don't want to hurt others" he said.

"You know nothing about what I want!" Yuto stated.

Melo looks at Yuto with sadness "Yuto..." Melo said taking Yuto's hand and place it on his own chest "is that what you think?" he asked as the group were looking at the two as Yuto looks up at his barian boyfriend confusedly and his eyes slowly changes back to normal and groan in pain while holding his head.

Shay then looks at Celina "why would Yuzu risk her own life just for you to get to talk to me?" Shay then asked which Celina looked at him.

Ace walks up to them "I'm actually quite curious as well, as much as I wasn't allowed out of the school grounds most of the time.

"Originally I was came here to hunt you guys down so I can prove my worth to be part of the Obelisk Force, and the professor would of seen his mistake of leaving me in the sidelines, I believed in the professor's vision in uniting all four dimensions, and after what Yuzu told me I beginning to have serious doubts, she said that Obelisk force had taken down innocent Xyzian including those who aren't duelist, I find it hard to believe Obelisk Force would be able to do such a terrible action" Celina said before looking at back at Shay "is what she told me true? Or is Yuzu filling my head with lies?" Celina questioned.

Ace sighed and looked away feeling sad about the fall of the Xyz dimension.

"All of it is true" Shay said making Weiss gasp "Your Obelisk Force was merciless they chased down anyone in their path whether they're duelist or not" Shay explained as Celina looks at him with a disbelief expression "I can still hear the attackers laughing and the screams of those who were trying to survive, their voices will remain sealed into my memory, forever" he said as Celina look at Shay shocked

Weiss also looks at Shay but with empathy and shock "Shay..." he muttered.

"Not only that...they took Melo and my little sister Lulu with them hostage" Shay explained.

Ace look at Shay "Your sister!? Obelisk Force really took Lulu away?" he questioned.

"Yes, they did, and it hurts to looking at you because you look exactly like her" Shay said to Celina.

"If only I was strong enough" Ace hear Melo muttering making him looked at the white and orange.

Ace places a hand on Melo's shoulder "you may not believe me, but I get you...perfectly" he then said making Celina and David look at him with empathy.

Gong then looks at Ace "what you mean by that?" he asked.

Ace shook his head "It's complicated to explain with words" Ace said.

"The other reason why I activated this action field spell is..." Declan said before looking at the Black hair male "I've been curious about how well skilled your abilities are, Carl Carmine, you've managed to use all four summoning methods: Synchro, Fusion, Xyz, and recently Pendulum. Carl let me your strength and challenge me to a duel!" he stated making everyone look at Declan with surprise.

"You're Challenging me?" the ravenette male questioned.

Declan nodded "I've been wanted to see your skills in action in a closer range, but there's one thing that's been holding you back...what's with the glowing mark on your arm that night when you and Melo duel"

"Glowing mark?" some other questioned out of confusion

Melo, Ace, and Carl's eyes widen out of shock 'Was he watching us?' Melo and Carl questioned.

'Glowing marks...so that means they're like me too they have an Earthbound Immortal too' Ace then stated in his mind while looking at Melo and Carl.

"What you'll get out of it? Sorry Declan but I have to decline your challenge, as much as I love to accept your challenge, but right now is not the best time for a duel, there's bigger priorities at the moment, protecting the defenseless, from further threats that could come our way, you sure know that" he said before walking away taking Yuya by the hand.

"that's it, not wanting to Save Yuzu" Declan asked making Carl stop walking.

Carl slowly turns his head "Pardon me?" he questioned.

"Declan don't provoke him" David said "if you do that the chances of having him and Yuya to join the lancers will be lower" he reminded Declan.

Declan sighed and nodded "it was out of hand of me, I apologize" he said.

Carl takes a deep breath and nods "alright, then I accept your Challenge, under one condition... no matter who wins or lose in this duel, we will still be a part of the Lancers, so there's no punishment for you until I came up with something during the duel" he tells Declan.

Declan nods "alright, then it's on" Declan said as he and Carl activate his duel disk.

"Carl be careful, Declan's crazy strong" Carl hear Yuya warning him making Carl look back at Yuya and give him a warm smile.

Carl then nodded "I will, Yuya" before giving a peck on the cheek and Aura take a perfect shot of the kiss.

'Perfect' she thought to herself watching the picture.

Ace sees the shorter female "Oh...she's a Fujoshi" he muttered to himself.

"Let's duel!" Carl and Declan said as they begam their duel.

Yuya couldn't help but feeling concern for The ravenette male "Carl" he muttered.

'Declan can use all four methods including Pendulum, I have to be careful what he has in stores for me' Carl warned himself "Declan since you're the one who challenge me why don't you make the first move" Carl offers.

"Alright then, I with the special ability of D/D Swirl Slime, I'll fuse it with D/D Berfomet! Your powers has grown to be quite impressive Carl, but as you can see I'm capable of facing any threat that'll come my may, I fusion summon! D/D/D Flame King Genghis!" Declan said as a big red knight-like monster appears to the field

"This is starting to heat up, If Carl knows a way to counterattack we'll be here for quite a while" Gong said.

Yuya nodded "you're right, but I believe that Carl know what his moves will be" he said.

"I think I'll ad a variety to the field by summoning D/D Nighthowl!" Declan said as another monster appears to the field

"Woah that's a Tuner monster?" Deniss questioned.

"That's right, Declan master all summoning methods" Gong stated.

Weiss watched the duel surprised "a duelist capable of doing more than one summoning method, sounds OP" he said muttering but only Shay heard him.

"Once I sucessfully summon Nighthowl, I'm allow to summon another D.D. Momster straight from my graveyard, by lowering its attack points to zero, I bring back D.D. Berfomet!"

D/D Berfomet: Atk/ 1400 → 0

"I tune level three D/D Nighthowl with my level four Befomet!"

D/D Nighthowl howls and turns into three rings and D/D Berfomet flew through them before becoming four stars and a pilar of light strikes down

"I Synchro Summon! D/D/D Gust King Alexander!" Declan said as his Synchro monster rises from the field.

"Now when I summoned another D/D/D monster such as King Alexander, Flame king Genghis resurects one D/D monster from my graveyard, rise once again, D/D Swril Slime!" Declan stated as D/D Swirl Slime appeared to the field.

"And there' a further twist D/D/D special ability activates; whenever a D/D monster is Summon, my gust king cam rise another D/D monster from.my graveyard as it will; Now, D/D Berfomet rise to the fiels of battle" Declan explained while Carl remained looking at Declan with a calm expression and Berfemot reappears to the field

"Berfemot's special ability activates, doubleling Swirl Slimes's level to four"

D/D Swirl Slime: Level/2 → 4

'He's going to Xyz summon, now' Carl thought

"Now I take my Swirl Slime and Berfemot and build the overlay network!"

Declan's D/D monsters turns into two spheres of purple light and flew up to a black and yellow blackhole beforea pillar of blue light flashes out of there

"Witness trio of fierse warriors bexause there a third king on the field. I Xyz Summon, D/D/D Wave King Cesar!" Declan yelled.

"I Can't believe my eyes, why is this is unpresidented"

"Sounds like ypu need to check your nose out of your testbooks Mr. Mcfield, evereone in Leo knew that Declan had master the big three!"

"So is that common knowledge?" Deniss questioned

"Not quite, everyone can master all Four methods, if you count pendulum summon" David explained to the group.

"Tell me David does Declan want to try all four methods agaisnt Duel academy?"

The blonde sadly nodded "yes, and wants to avenge the unfortunate sould who fallen into the evil claws of the enemy" he explained.

Yuto frowned angrily before Melo calm him down by hugging him from behind Celina and Ace look at each other before nodded.

"Let's see if you have what it takes Carmine" Declan said making the other male known that he ended his turn.

Carl nods and places a hand on the top card of his deck "my turn then, I draw!" He yelled while drawing a card and looks and is Fortune Fairy Chee "okay to start this opening performance, due that O just drew this card from my deck I get to summon it, Here's Fortune Fairy Chee!"

"Now I summon the Tuner monster, Sunny Pixie!"

Sunny Pixie: Atk/300

"Yes Carl bring her out, bring me one of you best mages" Declan said.

Carl smirked "Sunny Pixie won't be be here for long, because now I'm tunning my level one Sunny pixie and level six Fortune Fairy Chee" he explained to the grey hair male.

Sunny Pixie lights up before becominf a single ring and Fortune Fairy Chee flew through it and she turns six start and a pilar of light strikes down.

"Behold the mighty sorceress who sees all that is past, present, and future! Reveal yourself and seal the fate of our foes! COME FORTH, LEVEL 7, FORTUNE LADY EVERY!" Carl yelled as the light fades and Fortune Lady Every appeared in front of right above him.

"Now I activate the Spell Card: Fortune Lady Calling! this allows me to summon another Fortune Lady from my deck, and I'm choosing Fortune Lady Earth!" Carl explains.

Fortune Lady Earth: Atk/? → 2400

"Next I activate the spell Time passage this will increace a fortune lady's level by three and I'm giving them to Fortune Lady Earth! And for each level her attack and defense points increases multiply by four hundred" Carl explained.

Fortune Lady Earth: level/6 → 9 Atk/2400 → 3600

"Now Fortune Lady Earth, Take out D/D/D gust King Alexander! Cursed Torn!" Carl commands.

Fortune Lady Earth twirls her staff arlund before the orange gem of her scepter glows and she hits the ground and spike were popping out from tbe ground destroying the Synchro Monster monster as Declan lose some life points.

Declan: 4000 - 2900

"Your turn Every, attack Wave King Cesar with Cursed Omnipotence!" Carl yelled as his Syncro Monster fires her attack at Declan's Xyz monster and loses more life points.

Declan: 2900 - 2500

"I'll end my turn with a face down card, and since my turn came to a end, Earth's level and Attack points returned to normal" Carl finishes explaining.

Fortune Lady Earth: level/9 → 6 Atk/3600 → 2400

"Alright that leaves Declan with Flame King Genghis" Aura stated

"Gong should of expect this from Carl" Gong commented.

Yuya sighed with relief and smile at his boyfriend "I'm just the luckiest" he said to himself as the others continue to watch the duel silently.

"Why I feel like Declan is holding himself back on purpose?" Ace questioned.

"Alright then Carl, you had your witchery fun, Time for me to play serious, I draw!" Declan atated as he drew a card "I'll be setting the scale with scale one D/D Savant Galilei and scale ten D/D Savant Kepler" Declan said as he places his pendulum card on both edges of his duel disk as the word Pendulum pops up in between the pendulum cards "I can summon monsters through levels two to nine at the same time, I pendulum summon, make way for the overlord of dispair, disorder and devastation D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok!" Declan yelled as a new monster appear from a purple beam that came out of a portal Declan opened to perform his Pendulum summon.

"By summoning Ragnarok sucessfully I can bring back another D/D/D Monster 7 my Graveyard, return D/D/D Gust King Alexander!" Declan stated as His Synchro Monster rises up from purple smoke.

'Declan's mings are super Dangerous, but they won't stand a chance against Carl's Fortune Ladies'

Carl frowns at this 'what are you planning, Declan?' He question.

"Next I summon D/D Necro Slime" Declan said as a smaller monster appears to the field.

D/D Necro Slime: Atk/300

"I have a bad feeling about this, Carl" Carl hears Fortune Lady Earth saying to him which he nodded

"Next I activate Abyss Ragnarok's special ability, by tributing Necro slime I can vanishing one of your monsters of your field, you must now bid farewell to Fortune Lady Every" Declan said before noticing Carl smirking "what's so funny" he questioned

"Declan, you've underestimated me, I'm two steps ahead of you, I activate my trap: Bending Destiny! This trap will negate your King's special ability and Fortune Lady Every is not going anywhere" Carl explained.

"Alright!" Aura cheered.

"That's what Gong's talking about!" Gong stated.

"Not bad" Weiss commented as Shay frowned a bit for some reason

'W-Why am I feeling unspleasured when Weiss complimented Carl's skills?' He Xyzian questioned

Yuto noticed the looks of his bestfriend and then at Weiss and chuckled to himself, Melo looks at Yuto confusedly in which the shorter boy waves the barian off.

"Looks like I have to do this the hard way, I activate spell gaining D/D by tributing Necroslime, Abyss Ragnarok gains its attack points"

"Now I activate Necro Slime's special ability from the Graveyard! By vanishing it I can fusion summon a D/D/D monster" Declan explained making Aura eek

"Gong don't like this!" Gong stated

"And neither does Yuya" Yuya added.

"Then I guess it leaves me, I fuse my Abyss Ragnarok and Gust King Alexander to form a force that will bring to your knees" Declan explains as his two monsters turn into a sphere of green and red light and swirls together as they then glow in a yellow light "I fusion summon! Wave Oblivion King Cesar Ragnarok!"

D/D/D Wave Oblivion King Cesar Ragnarok: Atk/3200

"King Cesar Ragnarok attack Fortune Lady Every!" Declan stated as his king attack Every which she got destroyed and carl takes damage while falling on his back.

Carl: 4000 - 3600

"Carl!" Yuya exclaimed worried.

Carl slowly gets up "I'm fine, Yuya don't worry too much" Carl reassured the Red and green hair boy.

"Alright let's see what else you got Carmine" Declan said 'if he starts his mext turn Fortune Lady Earth's level and attack points increases and if he attack Genghis leaving me with twenty one life points and then I'll wipe him off with cesar and use the Card that can nullify the oppenent from activating their special ability' Declan thought.

Carl looks at the monsters on the field 'Yuya wasn't wrong about Declan...he is good, no... he's better than I thought if only I have a card that could help me' he thought and takes a deep breath.

"I Draw!" Carl yelled and looks at the card and smiled.

Yuya and the others including Henrietta, and Riley who were watching the duel from the observation room with Declan's assistant.

"Carl's smiling?" Yuto questioned.

Melo's eyes widen out of realization "Carl must have a game changer in hand" he said

"Alright, Declan, it's time for me to show you how You Show Duel School Duels, first off on my Standby phase Fortune Lady Earth gains a level and four hundred attack points" Carl explained

Fortune Lady Earth: Level/6 → 7 Atk/2400 → 2800

"Next, I'll be setting the Pendulum scale with Scale 0 Fortune Lady hope and Scale 13 Fortune Lady Despair!" Carl said as his places his two Pendulum monster of both side on tbe screen of his duel disk and a portal opens above him "now is my turn to swing into action!" Carl yelled "I pendulum summon!"

"Behold the second strongest Fortune Lady, Fortune Lady Dark!"

Fortune Lady Dark: Atk/? → 2000

"And my trusty Companion, Fortube Lady Water!" Carl yelled.

Fortune Lady Water: Atk/? → 1200

"Now I'm activating Fortune Lady Water's special ability, when Water's special summoned I'm allow to draw two new cards from my deck" Carl explains as he does as he was explaining he looks at the two cards Fortune Lady Light and Future vision and smirked "next I activate Fortune Lady Every's special from the Graveyard" he stated making everyone look surprise.

"By vanishing Fortune Fairy Chee from the Graveyard I can bring her back to the filed, welcome back Every!" Carl explains as Fortune Lady Every reappears to the field from a dark purple smokey portal.

Fortune Lady Every: 2800

"Now I think is time for me to add a bit more Color in this action field by activating the field spell Future Vision!" Carl explained as the action field gets covered in galatic like colors surprising everyone minus Yuya, Gong, and Melo "now I'm summoning Fortune Lady Light!"

Fortune Lady Light: Ark/? → 200

"Now the effect of Future Vision activates, this will send Light two turns into the future!" Carl explained while Fortune Lady light disappears from sight "Now, Ladies and Gentelmen, boys and girls, Gays and nobinary hoes, time for us to get to the finale, and there will be no encore, I activate Light's special ability, when Light's vanished by a card effect I'? Allowed to summon a new Fortune Lady from my Deck, say hello to Fortune Lady Fire!"

Fortune Lady Fire: Atk/? → 400

"Declan...I'm for sure know what happens when Lady Fire's special summoned to the field?" He questioned the gray haired male.

Declan's eyes widen "no way..."

Carl smirked "that's right Declan Akaba, you lose, Fortune Lady Fire Destroy Wave Obvivion King Cesar Ragnarok! Cursed flame!" Carl then said.

Fortune Lady Fire launches a fire tornado to Declan's stongest Fusion monstet as Declan takes damage equal to his monster's attack points making him lose the duel

Declan: 2500 - 0

"That's the end of our show!" He said as he and his Fortune Ladies made a bow "thank you very much" he said before the action fiels turns back into Paradise City and the monster disapear in yellow glitter.

Aura looks thrilled "he won!" She cheered.

"Carl beat Declan!" Gong also cheered.

Sylvio watched with pure shock "D-Declan... THE Declan Akaba lose... t-to Carl Carmine!?" He questioned out of disbelief.

Melo smiled and slowly lets go of Yuto which the shorter male frown and pulls Melo back making Melo giggled

"Clingy much?" The Barian question.

Yuto turn to Melo and nodded and buries his face in between the taller male's pecs.

Carl walks up to Yuya only to stopped by Weiss "that was so Cool! You bave to teach me some tips" he said.

Shay was feeling a sting in his chest and he dislike that 'Why am I feeling like this with you Weiss?' Shay questioned.

David checks on Declan "you're okay?" He asked

Declan nodded "yeah I'm fine" he said as David helped him up.

"You hold back on purpose so that you wanted to see Carl in action up close, did you?" David then asked.

Declan nodded again "you can say that, I had a feeling that Carl isn't my destined rival...but Yuya on the other hand he seemed to have a lot of support from Carl...is like they're destined for one another, not just romantically" he explained.

David nodded with agreement "glad we both see that" he then said "now seeing the three of them, Ace, Melo, and Carl they seemed to have the same facial feature I have a theory" he said.

Declan looks at David "and what's that theory?" he then asked.

The blonde looks at Carl who was interacting with the rest of his friends. Carl sees a overly shocked Sylvio and he pushes his shin up with one finger making Sylvio close his mouth.

"Is better to keep your mouth shut Sylvio, you'll catch flies with your mouth wide open" he said and goes up to Yuya who jump on him and hugs Carl tightly as Carl laughed "I'd told you that I'll be careful, did I" he said as Yuya nodded and buries his face on Carls crook of his neck.

Declan looks at David and nod at him before the two walks up to the group.

"Alright is time to head back to the Stadium...we're gonna give everyone a explanation" David said "Silvio, Aura I need you two to come with me since I don't want people to get cofused of why are you there, so do Ace, Melo, and Yuto" he explained which the mentioned nodded in understanding and with that everyone walks off to the stadium

Carl while carrying Yuya leans to his ear "We will get Yuzu back, Yuya, that I promise" he whispered.
