Third Person's POV

Melo's wondering around the streets as he noticed Julia wondering around the streets which he believed she's searching for them.

"You shouldn't be wondering around the street at the time like this..." He said as he comes out of hiding and looks at Julia with a sad expression "were you looking for us?" that question caught her off guard.

"I-I" Julia tried to talk but she was stuck vocally but takes a deep breath "I can take care of myself is you who should watch your back" she said "your friend was the one who attacked Professor Marco isn't he? why won't you admit it?" Melo sighed knowing who she is talking about.

"I want you to listen to me, I apologized for what my friend did to your professor, trust me when I say this, I know what's like to lose someone you look up to like a parent figure you didn't though you'll have, but this is far from my control" he said before looking at Julia.

"Quiet! someone as rotten as him for a friend doesn't get to talk like that about him" Julia yelled angrily at Melo.

"He's not alone everyone from LID has been so weak and completely predictable" Melo sighed as he heard Shay's voice who then lands next to the white and orange hair male "no real passion, no respect for the true art of the duel" he added.

"Are you saying you beat the others too?" Julia asked Shay.

Melo sighed "well-" Melo tells her.

"Why not find out? Challenge me to a duel then maybe you know if I'm your guy or not" Shay said before he activates his duel disk.

-Meanwhile at the LID building-

Declan and David are in the observation room watching the three of them interact with one another.

Claude looks at the two "Sirs. the team is ready to go as soon as you give the order" he informs them.

"Perfect" Declan said before looking over his blonde boyfriend "are you sure you want to stay?" he asked with concern.

David nodded "Yes De, I've been out of town and away from you long enough, I just want to spend more time with you even support you in times like this" he tells him "I still think your mom dislike me" he then muttered.

"Dove, I told you many times and I'll say it again...Mother approved our relationship, yeah, she is still new with this same sex couple thing, but she'll come around, she may not look like it but she'll come around" Declan assure his boyfriend who look at him with awe and slowly nodded.

As then they look back at the Monitor who show's Julia communicating with her colleague from her duel disk.

-back with Melo, Shay and Julia-

"Guys I got him I'm sending you my location now hurry up!" Julia stated to her duel disk.

"Got it on my way" Dipper's voice is heard.

"I'll be there as fast as I can, don't take the fun without me" Kit replied.

"So, you called for backup, only two people though you must underestimate me" Shay said.

Melo leans to Shay "Shay...I don't think this is just them...gut feeling" he whispered which Shay's eyebrows furrowed knowing that Melo's gut feelings are usually right.

"You only heard two people, but now everyone in the Leo Institute know exactly where you are, more importantly they know what you look like we've got cameras on you right now- what the hell are you doing?" Julia explained before looking at Melo who seem like...posing.

"What? you said there are cameras on us so since they're hidden at least I can give them a better angle" Melo explained making Shay and Julia fall.

Julia grunted in annoyance "Either way your little dueling spree is about to end!" Julia stated as she points at both Melo and Shay

"That's right came here as fast as I could" Dipper said as he appears from who knows where he falls to "I hope I didn't miss anything exciting" he added as Kit appear running up to them.

"Let's take these clowns down before the enforcement team arrives" Kit suggested them "we will be know for the whole school as the students who caught the bad guys" he added.

"I like it" Julia agrees with the Synchro user before looking at the purple hair male "you're in Dipper?" she asked in which the mentioned male nodded.

"We use Battle royal rules, the three of us vs the two of you" Kit stated pointing at the two males.

Shay frowns "Not him" he said referring to Melo who then places a hand on his shoulder making Shay look back at Melo "Melo..." he muttered low enough for only Melo to hear.

"Shay, trust me when I say this, I know that you're capable of taking these wannabes out by yourself, at least let me have some fun as well, besides it's been a while since I last dueled" Melo tells him.

"Let's see who you're calling a wannabe!" Dipper yelled angrily as he, Kit, and Julia activated their duel disk.

Shay then sighed "Now I understand what made Yuto to fell in love with you in the first place" he said making the slight shorter male to blush a bit.

"l-let's talk about that in another time" he said. 

"Are you two done talking?" Julia asked which both Shay and Melo look back at the Leo Students

"We accept your terms, but don't whine like babies when the outcome arrives" Melo said as his right arm glows a bit as the five duelists are surrounded by purple flames which caught everyone minus Melo off guard.

Shay noticed Melo's arm leans closer to him "is this your doing?" he asked 'And what's with that mark?' he then questioned.

Melo looks back at Shay "I promise I'll explain later" he replies to which Shay nods and trust Melo the fullest as the White and Orange hair boy looks at the Leo Students "this will prevent outside interference, no one can come in or get out until the duel is over, are you three okay with this? and don't worry about the flame they seemed intense but they're completely harmless so you don't have to worry about your getting burn" Melo explained.

"Man, and I thought the taller one was scary" Kit muttered to his comrades.

Julia nods "we accept your part of the terms" she said.

Melo nods back "Well may the best duelists wins" Melo said while activating his Duel disk.

"Let's duel!" the five duelists yelled as their duel officially started.

Dipper: 4000
Julia: 4000
Kit: 4000

Shay: 4000
Melo: 4000

"Allright Julia Kick this thing off" Dipper said.

"Happy to; First I'm summoning Gem-Knight Lapis!" Julia stated as she places a card on her disk.

Gem-knight Lapis: 1200

"Then I place one card face down and end my turn" she said ending her turn as a card face down materialize in front of her monster before vanishes from everyone's sight.

Kit points at the Xyz users "it's your go, punks!" he tells them.

Melo looks at Shay "you're taking the lead?" he asked which he nodded "go for it" he said as Shay draws a card.

"First up I'm playing a little something that's going to take our game to new heights! Raidraptor Vanishing Lanius!" Shay stated while placing a card on his duel disk and his monster appears in the field.

Raidraptor Vanishing Lanius: Atk/1300

"But It won't be flying solo when it's summoned to my field it can bring along a friend, a second vanishing Lanius" Shay explained as another Raidraptor vanishing Lanius appeared next to the first one he summoned "Next I activate the spell Raidraptor nest, since I have two identical Raidraptors on my field I can fly a third one from my deck to my hand" Shay said as a card get push out of Shay deck which he pulls it out "But it won't stay there for long Raidraptor's special ability lets me summon it right away looks like there's one for each of you, now" he said as he places two cards face down ending his turn.

-at LID-

Declan noticed this and he seemed focused on the duel David was focus too but only with a blanked expression.

"You seemed more focused than usual" David snapped and looks at Claude who looks at him.

"S-Sorry I-I just enjoy watching people duel that I keep my mouth shut" David apologized which Declan chuckled and goes up to his boyfriend.

"Is okay, Dove" He said while holding David's chins with one hand and make him look up to him as Declan leans closer to him "is cute when you look focus on something" he said making David blush and look away

"T-That's sweet but let's not make Claude uncomfortable" David suggested.

Claude looked at David dumbfounded "Is fine you two, is nothing compared to when I caught you guys having-" Claude then said before getting cut off by David.

"Hey is Dipper's turn now!" he yelled quickly changing the subject.

-at the duel-

Dipper draws a card "It's my turn! And I'm gonna make some moves that are out of this world since I don't have any monsters on my field and you do, I can summon Constellar Siat!" Dipper said as his monster appeared.

Constellar Siat: Atk/100

"Next I summon Constellar Pollux!" he added as a bigger monster appeared in the field.

Constellar Pollux: Atk/1700

"What makes it so stellar? I'll tell ya, when it's summoned, I'm allowed to summon another Constellar monster from my hand" he explained as he places another monster card to his hand "So come on out Constellar Algiedi!" Dipper chanted.

Constellar Algiedi: Atk/1600

"thanks to its special ability I can summon a level four Constellar monster from my hand to fight by its side, say hello to Constellar Kaus!" Dipper explained as another centaur-knight like monster appeared on the field.

Constellar Kaus: Atk/1800

"So, uh...you Xyz summon, don't you? Yeah, well so do I, and I don't like you running around town giving it a bad name!" Dipper stated as both Melo and Shay seemed unbothered "so if you don't mind, I'm gonna show you how a real duelist Xyz summons, so get ready to find out firsthand why the Leo institute is the best there is! I activate Kaus' special ability! which grants an additional level to both Algiedi and itself" Dipper explained?

Constellar Algiedi: Level/ 4 - 5

Constellar Kaus: Level/ 4 - 5

"Now I overlay my level five Constellars Algiedi and Kaus to build the overlay network" Dipper then said as the mentioned monster light up and become yellow glowing spheres and flew into the sky before entering what looked like a purple and yellow blackhole that appeared on the ground and from it came a pillar of blue light. 

"The Light of distant stars shatters the dark of night I Xyz summon! Constellar Pleiades!" Dipper yelled as a bigger monster appeared to the field.

Constellar Pleiades: Atk/2500

"Now I activate Constellar twinkle which grants Constellar Pollux two additional levels" Dipper then explained.

Constellar Pollux: Level/ 4 - 6

"Thanks to its own special ability Constellar Siat's level increases to match Pollux's" Dipper continued.

Constellar Siat: Level/ 1 - 6

"So now I'm gonna overlay Pollux and Siat, I build the overlay network" Dipper added as the mentioned monster light up and become yellow glowing spheres and flew into the sky before entering what looked like a purple and yellow blackhole that appeared on the ground and from it came a pillar of blue light "I Xyz Summon the great and mighty Constellar Ptolemy M7!" Dipper chanted as a white and gold like Dragon appeared in the field.

Constellar Ptolemy M7: Atk/2700

"Two back-to-back Xyz summons!" Kit stated.

"Not bad Dipper!" Julia praised the purple hair male who nodded at her.

"Is just only the beginning, I'm activating Constellar Pleiades' special ability by using an overlay unit vanishing Lanius returns to your hand" Dippers said as a overlay unit flies towards one of Shay's Raidraptors vanishes from sight as Shay takes one of the card and keeps it in his hand "And Now I can activate Ptolemy M7's special ability, why stop by getting rid of one of your monsters when I can get rid of two" he added while the same thing happened "And with that I end my turn, alright Kit it's all you now"

"Not yet is the other guy's turn" Kit reminded him.

Melo draws a card "I draw!" he yelled before looking at his hand 'hm... this is not a bad hand at all' he thought before nodding "Okay to start off I'm summoning Ralts in attack mode" Melo stated as a small monster appeared on the field.

Ralts: 1100

the three Leo Student sees the monster and laugh which made Shay frown as Melo placed a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Let them laugh, they'll be doing nothing but swallowing their laughs after being humiliated by a simple level three Monster" Melo said to Shay before turning his head toward the three duelists determined "I activate Ralts' special ability! when Ralts is normal summon, it allows me to draw three cards from my deck and if any of them happens to be a Fairy-type Monster I can get to summon them" Melo explained as he drew three cards and smiled at "Now I summon Jigglypuff and Clefairy!" he yelled.

Jigglypuff: 800

Clefairy: 1000

"Now I'm activating Clefairy's special ability, I can discard one card all monsters on my side of the field gains one additional level" Melo explained.

Clefairy: level/3 → 4
Jigglypuff: level/3 → 4
Ralts: Level/3 → 4

"Next I activate I activate the Field spell Fairy Terrain! when this field is activate while Fairy type monsters are on my field, they gain eight hundred points for each monster" Melo then explained as 

Clefairy: Atk/1000 → 3400
Jigglypuff: Atk/800 → 3200
Ralts: Atk/1100 → 3500

"Those small little runts are not a big threat now!" Kit stated as Melo smiled at them.

"So, what do you think, guys? they could do a lot more than just looking cute, you see" Melo said while his smile turned into a smug "although Fary type are graceful that can also possess some dangerous hidden fangs" he said in which they were now intimidated by Melo's tone of voice "I guess I'll end my turn with this face down" Melo said while placing a card on his deck "good luck, you're gonna need it" he said.

"Doesn't matter, I'll start this blow out by summoning XX-Saber Boggart Knight!" Kit stated as his monster rises from the field.

XX-Saber Boggart Knight: Atk/1900

"When Boggart knight is successfully summoned to the field, I can also summon a level four or below X Saber from my hand" Kit explained as he shows a card "get set for the level one tuner monster X-Saber Palomuro!"

X-saber Palomuro: Atk/200

'Tuner Monster...now I see what this is about...these three has to be the best of the three methods from their class...Dipper the Xyz specialist... Kit the master Synchro user which leaves Julia...with fusion summoning' Melo thought.

"And now since I have two X-Sabers on the field I can also bust out XX-Saber Faultroll!" Kit explained.

XX-Saber Faultroll: Atk/2400

"You've seen the extreme awesomeness of Dipper's Xyz summon, but now is time to taste some Synchro power! Level one Palomuro tunes level four Boggart Knight!"

Palomuro lights up and becomes one single ring Boggart Knight rose into the air heading straight for the ring. its body began to hollow out as it passed through the ring revealing the four shining white stars inside. They all aligned in the center which caused the same energy to arc between them like before. A white pilar of light struck the ground.

"I Synchro summon X-Saber Wayne!" Kit chanted as his Synchro monster appeared to the field.

X-Saber Wayne: Atk/2100

"This Posse isn't full yet because now I can summon another X-Saber from my hand, so make way for the tuner monster XX-Saber Fulhelmknight

XX-Saber Fulhelmknight: Atk/1300

"now thanks to Fautroll's special ability Palomuro returns from the graveyard" Kit explained as Palomuro reappears in the field.

X-saber Palomuro: Atk/200

"Now this is where things get really awesome, my level three Fulhelmknight tunes Level 6 Faultroll!"

Fulhelmknight lights up and becomes three rings as Faultroll rose into the air heading straight for the ring. its body began to hollow out as it passed through the ring revealing the six shining white stars inside. They all aligned in the center which caused the same energy to arc between them like before. A white pilar of light struck the ground.

"I Synchro summon Level nine XX-Saber Gottoms!"

XX-Saber Gottoms: Atk/3100

"But that's not the end, now Palomuro tunes Watne to spawn an unstoppable Cyclone of steel!" Kit continues.

And once again Palomuro lights up and becomes one single ring X-Saber Wayne rose into the air heading straight for the ring. its body began to hollow out as it passed through the ring revealing the five shining white stars inside. They all aligned in the center which caused the same energy to arc between them like before. A white pilar of light struck the ground.

"I Synchro Summon, Level 6 XX-Saber Hyunlei!"

XX-Saber Hyunlei: Atk/2300

Both Kit and Dipper looked at each other and smirked "Hope you guys weren't counting on using those face down cards, Cause Hyunlei can destroy up to three spell or trap cards on the field" Kit explained making Melo giggled.

"What's so funny?" Dipper asked the white and orange hair boy

"Didn't I warn you about the hidden fangs, you three really are not taking this duel serious" Melo said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Julia asked.

"Oh, Dear Julia, your buddy just triggered Ralts' second ability" he responded.

"Second!?" Kit and Dipper repeated with disbelief.

"Yeah, as long as Ralts is in the field none of your monsters are able to activate their abilities."

"No way!" the three of them stated with shock. 

Melo winks at them "sucks to be you, huh?" He then asked them.

"It doesn't matter even if we can't attack your little monsters but we can take out your friends!" Kit stated before getting cut off by Melo 

"Uh, uh, uh~ Not if I activate Jigglypuff's ability" Melo then said.

"What!?" the three stated with shock as Shay smirked.

'They underestimate the wrong duelist' he thought proudly of Melo

"Jigglypuff's gonna sing you guys a lullaby but not like a normal lullaby when your mommy sings you to sleep, this lullaby makes all your monsters switch to defense mode and they all loose six hundred points but that's not all for three turns none of your monsters aren't allowed to switch back to attack mode" he explained as Jigglypuff sings while Julia, Dipper, and Kit's Monsters swap position to defense mode.

"This is bad...Julia, I hope you know what to do" Kit tells Julia claiming the end of his turn.

Julia nods "leave this to me, Time for this diamond to shine, let's go!" She yelled as she draws a card "I'll start things off by playing the spell card gem knight Fusion! it lets me fuse Gem-knight Lapis with Gem-knight Lazuli from my hand. Two gems sparkled together illuminating a new stone, I fusion Summon, Gem-knight Lady Lapis Lazuli

Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli: Atk/2400

"Get set for a move that's a cut above the rest! Since I sent Lazuli to the graveyard, I can take one monster from my graveyard and add it to my hand, which means Gem-knight lapis is coming back for more action and don't think I'm done with my fusion summons I can get my Gem knight fusion card back by banishing a Gem-knight monster from my graveyard see you later Gem-knight Lazuli" Julia explained as she now shows both Gem-knight Lapis and Gem-Knight fusion spell card "with it in my hand again I activate Gem-knight Fusion! I fuse my Gem-knight Alexandrite, Gem-knight Emerald, and Gem-knight Lapis. Magical rock of Dark and light gleaming green knight of good fortune, lavender gem of wisdom, combine your brilliance to forge a blinding new brightness, I fusion summon the Mighty Gem-Knight Master Diamond!"

Gem-Knight Master Diamond: Atk/2900

"Oh yeah I almost feel sorry for these guys" Kit said.

"Julia's Fusion summons are gonna blow them out" Dipper added as Shay feels a bit trapped.

"it's a shame that you guys can't attack due to the attack points" Melo sighed while shrugging with his eyes close.

"Who said that we're attacking you?" Julia asked which make Melo open one eye "I'm attacking Raidraptor Vanishing Lanius!" Julia stated as her monster goes to attack. 

Melo smirked "Now you're a fool you trigger the trap Fairy guardian! this trap forces you to attack a monster that has higher points than yours" Melo explained as Gem-knight Master diamond attacked Clefairy but it dodges it and shines bright causing it to get shatter.

Julia: 4000 - 3400

"But that's not all what this trap can do with no matter how many time you attend to attack Raidraptor, all of your monster will automatically attack Ralts since is the monster with higher Attack points out of all the monsters on the field during the rest of this turn" Melo explained. 

"So that mean..." Kit said losing hope.

"Even if she attacks again..." Dipper then said as he and Kit look at the frustrated Julia.

"I can't defeat them; I end my turn" she said.

'I see what you were doing, you were giving me a opening' Shay thought with a small yet grateful smile 'thank you Melo' he then added before looking at the three duelists in front of him "as I suspected, you are nothing but lambs trying to fight a lion" he said.

"you thinks so huh?" Kit questioned.

"you talks a big game for someone who's barely holding on" Dipper added.

"True but then we're always being pushed to the edge of defeat by those who oppose us" Shay said making the LID students look at him confusingly.

"You're wrong about one thing...is not that we think...we know" Melo then said with a smirk as his eyes flashes a bit of green.

"What does that mean?" Kit asked.

Melo sighed "this is hopeless...Shay is better showing them than explaining you know the tell, actions speak louder than words" he tells his colleague.

Shay then nods "alright then, I draw!" he shouted as he drew a card making all the pigeons fly off catching the Leo kids off guard "I'm bringing back all my three Raidraptors back to the field" Shay said as he summons two Raidraptors and then the third with another Raidraptor Nest spell card which is the card he drew.

"Now I overlay my three Vanishing Laniuses! From the Shadows the falcon soars on wings of courage! Talents ready for the rebellion! I Xyz summon Witness the ascent of Raidraptor Rise Falcon!"

Raidraptor Rise Falcon: Atk/100

The LID kids seemed dumbfounded by the attack points "Just one hundred attack points?"

"Raidraptor rise falcon can attack each of your monsters once prepare for a total destruction" Shay explained.

"Total destruction? that thing doesn't have enough attack points to destroy anything" Kit said mockingly.

Melo buts in "Sure Rise Falcon has only a hundred points, but didn't your poor Marco teach you that you don't always relies on the attack point in order to win?" he asked making the LID kids glare as he smirked "Shay...show them what is like to not underestimate us" he said.

Shay nods "sure by using one overlay unit it gains the attack points of Every monster on your field even if some of them are in defense mode!" he explained leaving Kit Julia and Dipper stunned at the number of points.

Raidraptor Rise Falcon: Atk/100 → 16400

"I mean is that a hunk is that" Dipper tried to speak but he's too stunned to speak.

"No way" Julia said with shock.

"This is bad" Kit then said.

"Well, you should've kept your mouth shut Kitty" Melo said mocking Kit.

"And now raid Raptor Rise Falcon will finish you all, Ravaging Rebellion!" Shay yelled as Rise falcon all covered in energy flies up before diving down destroying all of Julia, Dipper, and Kit's monster were destroyed one shot.

Kit: 4000 - 0
Dipper: 4000 - 0
Julia: 3400 - 0

Melo sighed "I get it you're still worry for Lulu...but do you have to be that harsh on them?" he asked.

"We got you surrounded there's nowhere to run" the two Xyz users looks over and see Claude standing before them.

Melo looks at Shay "Go Melo, I'll take care from here" Shay tells Melo.

Melo sighed "Alright, after all I don't want Yuto to worry...again" he said before he leaves "good luck" he said before he disappears from everyone's sight shocking the members of the Leo Corporation.

'You too, lil bro' Shay thought.
