Carl's POV

Yuya already dragging me around the town while heading to his next duel.

"This is weird this is the address Nico gave me but where's the school" He asked as we both look front, and we see a creepy looking building that seems more like a haunted house than a school.

"Did Halloween come early this year?" I asked in a joking matter making Yuya hold a laughter.

"Could this get a little scarier" Yuya then asked before Niko pops out of nowhere. 

"Welcome my boys" he said as out of instinct I knocked him out with a spinning heel kick.

"Now I'm fucked up" I said as Yuya sweat dropped I went towards Nico and shake him "Hey Mr. Smiley, wake up! I'm sorry I kicked you out of instinct" I apologized as Nico jumps up and looks at us with a smile on his face as if my kick didn't do effect on him.

"Worry not my boys, I may not look like it, but I am tough as Celtic Guardian" he stated "follow me" he said as he opens the gate and starts walking a little wobbly but not enough for him to fall as we follow him.

And we walked in the place is dark "they should've paid their light bill" Yuya said.

"Careful you two, the steps can be...treacherous" Nico warned us.

Yuya look at Nico don't worry I'll be careful-ah!" He said before he slipped on the steps only for me to catch him on time "T-Thanks Carl" he said to me with a small blush.

"Don't mentioned it, we don't want you to get injured before you duel" I replied as Yuya then nodded at me and we continue walking down the stairs carefully not to slip on the steps.

when we get to, he arena in the center we see a fair-skinned young girl of low height with long curly red hair with a purple ribbon tied on top of her head and bright-green eyes. She wears a mostly purple flowing dress, and what appears to be a white blouse underneath, with a pink ribbon on her collar and a yellow coin-shaped pendant. She wears a pair of white socks and what appear to be brown sandals. Notably, she is carrying a crystal apple in her hand.

Third Person's POV

As Yuya and Carl walked down the steps only for Yuya to trip again and rolls down and lands on in front of the short young girl 

"You almost...broke my precious Crystal Ball!" she yelled hitting Yuya's head before walking away as Carl runs up to Yuya

"Yuya are you okay?" he asked the Tomato boy worried.

Yuya looks up at the raven hair male "d-did I just fell from heaven?" he unconsciously asked making Carl blush hard

Carl looks away "Y-Yuya!" he yelled embarrassed. Yuya widen his eyes realizing what he just said and covers his mouth.

'Did I just say that out loud!?' he questioned panicking.

Meanwhile the girl watches the two of them with awe 'These two seem to care a lot about each other's well-being could they be...the duelmates I'm destined to witness bloom?' she questioned in her thoughts.

"Uh excuse me?" Yuya calls the female as she glares at him.

"Don't you see that I'm thinking!?" she questioned yelling a Yuya irritated.

Carl gets in between them "sorry about that but shouldn't you two get to duel" he asked.

the Girl nodded "Oh we'll duel" she respond before pointing at the two of them "that's the best way for me to tell whether my prediction about you two was right or wrong" she tells them.

Carl looks at Nico confused "hold up I'm confused, I thought Yuya was the only one who has to duel her" he said which Nico only shrug as a reply.

"I heard stories about your dueling style, Carl Carmine, your deck possesses impressive stronger fortune prediction, not Only I get to Duel your buddy here I would like to duel you as well" she said.

"What!?" Tate, Allie, and Frederick questioned with shock.

"You're saying that you want to duel us both at the same time!? But-" Yuya said before getting cut off by Carl.

"I accept your terms...uh" Carl said but looks at the girl confused since he doesn't know much about the character names.

"Aura is the name" she said.

Carl nodded "I'll remember that" he said.

Yuya takes Carl by the hand "A-are you sure, Carl?" he asked concern.

"Yuya out of everyone I know you should've know that just because the opponent is a female doesn't mean we have to underestimate her, who know what tricks she has under her sleeve, and besides I haven't been in a duel in a hot week" he tells him before pulling out his duel disk.

Yuya looks at Carl hesitantly and looked down for a moment 'now that I think about it, I haven't had a tag team duel with Carl as my partner' he thought before looking back at Carl and nodded who smiled at him making Yuya blush and looks away 'His smile's so cute!' he fanboyed in his mind.

"Our destiny exist to follow or not and though we are mortals cannot visualize, our lives must travel down the path of time the telling of fortunes is like a flame that guide us whether we choose to follow it or not it's always up to us" she said before snapping her fingers "I activate the action field spell fortune-teller" she said as the field Changes leaving only Yuya, Carl, and Aura on the field. 

"We're gonna duel here?" Yuya questions looking around the Action field spell.

"That's right" Aura responded getting Yuya's attention "My fortune telling abilities are never wrong, your friend Carl should've know that by now with it I'll learn if you're destined to be my one and truly duelmate" she said which that made Carl uncomfortable.

"Destined duelmate what do you mean?" Yuya questioned.

You'll see!" Aura cuts Yuya off while raising her crystal apple above her head.

"Well, this school is called Fortune Prep for a reason" Carl said before furrowing his eyebrows 'It also means that no matter what will happened we'll be dragged for being two steps behind I'll be okay with my fortune Ladies...Yuya on the other hand' he thought a bit worried 'No I shouldn't be worrying about him; he's going to be okay...I know he'll be' he added in his mental note.

"This is the battle will reveal our future!" Aura chanted.

Yuya startled "And I know it's a fantastic future full of fun because winning is totally in the cards" he said.

"A 2v1 is the least of worries what matters is the outcome of this Duel and my cards show me that the future of this duel won't be easy but there will be a bright light in the end of the tunnel" Carl then said, "Let the battle for the future begin!" he added chanting.

"Action..." Tate, Frederick and Allie chanted.

"Duel!" the three duelist finishes, and the Duel officially started.

Yuya: 4000
Carl: 4000

"Action Cards disperse!" a mechanic voice is heard as cards flew all over the action field.

"First let's see how your Fortune telling skills are, Carl" Aura said as Yuya looked at her confused but looks at Carl with concern which this seems unbothersome for the taller male.

Aura show Carl a golden coin "there's a dragon on one side and a fiend on the other I'm going to flip the coin and you're gonna guess which side lands stays up and you get to choose who goes first" she explained before flipping a coin as Carl closes his eyes which Yuya look at him surprised.

"What's Carl doing?" Frederick questions with disbelief

"He closed his eyes" Allie stated.

"The real question is why?" Tate asked.

The coin landed on Aura's hand and looks up at Carl and then gasped as she noticed that his eyes were shut as Carl slowly open his eyes with determination "is the fiend" he said.

Aura snapped out of her trance of amazement and looks at the coin and she sees that he's right "Y-You're correct" he stuttered.

Carl smiled "since I'm in a good mood why don't you take the first turn Miss Aura" Carl offered her which Both Yuya and Aura were caught off guard.

"Are you sure?" Yuya asked him which Carl looks at the tomato boy and nodded.

Aura nodded "very well then, just because you say so I'll go first" she said before sitting on a floating ball who appeared out of nowhere "I'm placing one monster down in defense mode" Aura then said as placing a monster card faced down sideways as a card Materialized in the field "is your turn, I'm done for now" she tells the two males.

Carl looks at Yuya "you take this turn Yuya" he tells him.

Yuya looks at Carl "Are you sure?" he asked the taller male.

Carl then nodded before looking back at Aura's face down monster card "I trust you Yuya, take it" he assures Yuya while pushing up his glasses "After all who knows what kind of plan, she has under that face down card" he added looking at the card serious.

Yuya then nodded "Okay if you say so" Yuya said as he begins running off and begins to jump off from platform-to-platform Aura follows Yuya sitting on the floating ball.

Carl looks at the two concerned 'I have a awful feeling about this' he thought.

'Well if you don't do something about it this Aura girl will take Yuya away from you' he hears Fortune Lady Wind telling him.

'Agree' Fire and Dark joined her.

'Not the time you three' Carl replied before looking up at Yuya and Aura again.

"Something's bothering you, I can tell" Aura said.

Yuya stopped as he looked at the female confused "Huh? bothering me? what makes you think that?" he questioned.

"When I flipped the coin, you thought it was the Dragon that landed that indicates a deep desire to overcome some kind of failure by using power and force, obviously you feel lost, and you don't have a clue about what to do next" she explained which caught Yuya off guard.

'She's right I don't know how to max up my pendulum power' he thought before placing a hand on his deck getting ready to draw as sweat was beginning to be noticeable on Yuya's face 'but I can't think about that, now I have to focus on winning this duel' Yuya then thought.

Carl looks up at Yuya determine and has full on trust in him "come on Yuya, don't let her words get to you..." he muttered.

'Don't jinx it' he hears the Fortune Ladies saying which Carl growled annoyingly.

 "I draw!" Yuya yelled and he sees that he drew Odd-eyes Pendulum Dragon 'is odd eyes...' he thought as he looks at his hand 'The pendulum scale is up to four, but I have monsters that are level five above so I can't summon them...I can't do anything with this hand' he thought looking at his hand hopeless "I-I'll end my turn" he said defeatedly.

"I have a funny feeling you would" she said.

Carl's eyes widen with shock 'he must have a bad hand' he guessed in his thoughts.

"What!? He didn't even summon a monster or even placed a face down card" Frederick stated shocked and worried while looking at the duel from the stands with Tate and Allie.

"I've never saw Yuya play this way" Allie confesses.

"there's got to be a reason" Tate then said.

'Call it' Fortune Lady Dark stated.

Yuya stood up before looking down at Carl "Carl is up to you, now!" he yelled before running off to find a action card.

Carl sighed defeatedly "alright then, I draw!" he stated as he sees that he Drew Fortune Lady Water along with his other five cards Bottomless trap hole, Fortune Lady Dark, Slip of fortune, Magic Cylinder, Fortune Lady Wind, and Iron Scarecrow. Carl then nodded "Okay to start of I place two cards Face down!" He yelled as two faced down cards were Materialized in front of Carl before they vanished from sight "Next I'll be summoning my trusty friend, appear Fortune Lady Water!" He said as a small whirlpool appeared in front of Carl as Fortune Lady Water flies out of it while striking a bow.

Fortune Lady Water: Atk/? → 1200

Meanwhile in the stance Tate, Allie and Frederick looked excited to see Fortune Lady Water on the field.

"Water!" they cheered.

"I'm at your service, Carl" Fortune Lady Water said.

"Water!" Carl called for her who nodded as Carl jump and Water grabs him by his reached-up arm as they both flew up following Yuya and Arua "I'll be ending my turn for now" he said as he and Water landed on a platform near some steps and runs up them while Fortune Lady Water follows.

"It's my turn, I draw!" Aura stated as she draws a card "I flip summon Prediction Princess Coinorma!" She chanted as she flipped the card that she has on her duel disk as a little female-like elf appeared with a coin half her size appeared to the field.

Prediction Princess Coinorma: Atk/800

'What is she up to? a monster like that won't be able to destroy Water...unless she'll activate her monster's special ability or she has a card that could help her with that in her hand, if she does, we'll be in trouble now' he thought.

Fortune Lady water looks at Carl "I was thinking of the same thing, Carl" she tells him.

"When I flip over my monster her special ability activates" Arua tells the running male duelist "Coinorma's special ability lets me place another monster face down on my field" She explained as a card gest pushed out of her deck and placed it face down.

"I sensed a pattern here" Yuya said.

"It's nice to see that you're following along Yuya, and now Coinorma will predict your future" Aura then said which make Yuya get back to running as Coinorma tosses her coin up in the air turning into three coins and shows one diamond and two stars "this fortune predicts that you two will face a choice that will affect your destiny" Aura explained while Carl found a action card and takes it and looks at it and nods and continues running with Fortune Lady Water follows behind her user.

Meanwhile in the stands "Yuya doesn't have any cards on his field yet" Tate stated worried.

"If he doesn't do something he'll took a direct attack" Frederick added.

Allie's eyes widen in realization "wait...She can't attack Yuya!" Allie said as Frederick and Tate looked at her "did you guys just forgot who's also on the field?" she asked while pointing at Carl and Fortune Lady Water.

"Oh yeah I forgot, since Fortune Lady Water has twelve hundred attack points and her Coinorma only has eight hundred she can't attack" Tate said.

"Yeah, and let's not forget about the Fortune Ladies' ability the more levels they gain the stronger they'll become" Frederick added.

Yuya continued jumping on platform to platform until he found two action cards "Two action cards!?" Yuya questioned seeing the two cards.

"You can only have one action card at the time Yuya the card you'll choose will decide your destiny" Aura tells the Tomato boy.

Carl also sees this and both he and Water stop moving "Be careful Yuya! one of those cards could be a action trap!" he warned.

Yuya "Okay then I'll choose this one" Yuya stated as he picked the card on the left when he saw what it was that it was a action trap which Yuya Panicked "Lousy luck!" he stated.

Carl sees this "Oh no" he muttered.

"He got a action trap" Water tells him.

"It's a pretty accurate name because it deals you eight hundred points of damage" Aura explained about the action trap which Carl winced at the information.

the Card Yuya holds explode in his face forcing him to fall on his back hard

Yuya: 4000 - 3200

"Yuya!" Carl calls his tomato boy who groan at the pain.

"You're lucky that you didn't get additional damage because of Carl's monster so I'm tributing Coin Norma to set the monster face down in defense mode" Aura said as Coinorma disappears into yellow dust and another monster card face down in defense mode appears next to the card that she already placed in defense mode due to Prediction Princess Coinorma's effect.

"Another Face down card in defense mode?" Yuya questioned.

Aura nodded "that's right another card that represents a future that you can't seem to predict" she said as Carl frown at her words.

Carl Looks at Water "Let's go check on him" he tells his monster who nodded and takes Carl by the hand and they both flew towards where Yuya is while flying pass Aura who placed a card face down officially ending her turn "Yuya, you're good?" Carl asked as he helps Yuya stand.

Yuya nodded "I will be" he responded.

"Well, is your turn now..." he said as he looks at Yuya's hand "man that's a bad hand" he said as Yuya nodded.

"I know...but I'll figure it out I'm sure of it" the Tomato hair male said before drawing a card and looks at it "Perfect I summon Performapal Bow hopper!" Yuya yelled as Performapal Bow Hopper appears to the field next to Fortune Lady Water 

Performapal Bow Hopper: Atk/1500

"Now I'm activating Fortune Lady Ability since is the standby of our turn and remains on the field Fortune Lady Water now becomes a level 5 monster and gets three hundred more points

Fortune Lady Water: Level/4 → 5  Atk/1200 → 1500

'Both her monsters are face down which one should I attack since she got to get rid of one monster and bring out the left one out it's probably really strong too strong for my bow hopper or Carl's Fortune Lady Water' Yuya thought as he looks at both Cards Carefully.

"Be careful Yuya, if anybody as unlucky as you tried to duel I predict total disaster" she said

Carl sighed "My deck did say that I'll get not too bad day, but I doubt that is because of this duel" he said before looking at Yuya "So Yuya, what's it going to be?" he then asked. 

"I don't care what you predict, let's go Performapal Bow Hopper attack the monster on the right!" Yuya stated as Bow Hopper goes for a attack.

"I'm activating my trap Black Cat-astrophe!" she stated as a card raises, and a stampede of black cat come out of it as Bow Hopper's attack was negated.

"Your luck's truly going from bad to worse, Yuya because Black Cat-astrophe ends the battle, hope that doesn't thrown off your game too much" Aura explained.

"Not a chance" Yuya stated before he tripped only for Carl to catch him.

"I got you, Yuya" he said as Yuya looked at him with awe.

'I know I shouldn't be thinking of this, but man Did I enjoy this free BL show mid-duel' she thought fangirling.

Yuya then snapped out of his trance and shakes his hand, I'll be ending my turn, is your turn Carl!"

Carl Nodded "Alright then I draw!" he yelled as he drew once he sees the card his eyes widen with shock as he sees Fortune Fairy En in hand and smiled before showing it to Aura "Now that I drew this card, I can get to special summon it her lucky color is red, and her Lucky number is 2 because here come Fortune Fairy En!" Carl yelled as a red-light pillar appeared in front of Carl as a miniature and cuter version of Fortune Lady Fire appeared in the field.

Fortune Fairy En: Atk/0

Aura looks at Carl confusedly "okay since Fortune Fairy En has Zero attack point you only summoned her to mock me?" she asked slowly getting upset.

"No Aura on the contrary, like her Fortune Lady counterpart, Fire, En also has a pretty handy Special ability when I special summoned En, it allows me to choose Facedown monster you have in defense mode and destroy it" Carl explained before pointing at the card on his left "and I choose the one of your right!" he yelled which Aura gasped with shock "Yuya's unlucky streaks will be over!" Fortune Fairy En goes to the face down card and shoots a small fire ball and hits the face down defense mode monster leaving a shocked Aura "now En won't be here for long because I'll be tributing her to summon the woman of Darkness her lucky number is five and clothed in dark and shadows here comes Fortune Lady Dark! let me tell you something really important about Fortune Lady Dark that her attack point gains the equal amount of attack points times four hundred, so four hundred times fives equals..." Carl yelled as the field gets covered in purple smoke and his monster flew out of it and landed between Fortune Lady Water and Performapal Bow Hopper

Yuya realized "two thousand!" he yelled.

Carl smiled "great work Yuya!" he cheered.

Fortune Lady Dark: Atk/? → 2000

"Now since it's now my turn Fortune Lady water gains one more Level and Becomes now a level six monster! and gains three hundred more points" Carl then explained.

Fortune Lady Water: Level/5 → 6 Atk/1500 → 1800

"I guess I'll end my turn with another card face down!" Carl finishes

Yuya looks at Carl confusingly "what is he up to" he muttered as Aura jumps off her ball and goes to one of the platforms and hop to the next floor as she draws a card 

"First I flip summon Prediction Princess Arrowsylph!" she yelled as she flips her remaining Monster card on the field.

Prediction Princess Arrowsylph: Atk/1000

"Now since Arrowsylph is flipped I can activate its special ability it allows me to draw a ritual spell my deck" she explained as she pulls out the Prediction ritual spell card from her deck "Next from my I activate the spell double the chance this allow me to return a monster that's already in the graveyard to the field and I can activate their effect regardless" She explained "now come to the field the sparkly Prediction Princess Crystaldine!" She yelled as a monster appeared from a dark purple portal.

Prediction Princess Crystaldine: Atk/1400

"Now dues to the Double the chance spell I can activate Crystaldine's ability it allows me to draw a ritual monster from anywhere in my deck" Aura explained as she pulls out a card from her deck.

Carl nodded "as I thought..." he said as Yuya looked at him "she's going to perform a ritual summon" he said making Yuya grow nervous "don't worry Yuya, you have me" he assured the tomato head who blushed.

Meanwhile in the stands 

"A ritual spell card and a Ritual monster on her hand can only mean one thing" Tate said as Frederick and Allie turn their heads at the blue head little boy who looks back at them "She has to be planning a ritual summon, she's planning on summoning a high-level ritual monster using a ritual spell card" he explained.

back at the duel 

"Now Crystaldine will help me tell your fortune, Yuya" Aura said as her mentioned monster shows a image of Yuya and Carl getting covered in smoke "is a cloud, a cloud of Darkness that you and Carl cannot escape from and that's exactly what's going to happen when I activate my ritual spell Prediction Ritual!" Aura explained while placing the mentioned spell card to her disk "I offer my prediction princesses Arrowsylph and Crystaldine to the graveyard to unlock the secrets of the mystic" Aura explained as both her monsters turn into nine fireballs circling around a casket that appears to the ground "Oh Ancient Sorceress appears to the battle of life, may have the supernatural secret spell awake you with our strength!" Aura yelled as orange-ish red pillar of light appeared from the ground and the ceiling is covered in a big cloud. 

"Heads up guys!" Carl said as Bow Hopper hid behind Fortune Lady Water out of fear.

"You Got it" Dark said.

"Understood" Water agrees.

"I ritual summon! Prediction Princess Tarotrei!" Aura yelled as a giant woman appeared on the field from the dark cloud staring down at Carl, Yuya, and their Monsters.

 Prediction Princess Tarotreith: Atk/2700

"I don't like the looks of this" Yuya said "Not even Dark can stand a chance against that thing, almost as strong as your Witch Crafter Golem Aruru, Carl" he reminded him which the taller male nodded.

"Indeed"

"Prediction Princess Tarotreith take out that Bow Hopper!" Aura stated as her monster attack Yuya's monster only for Carl to smirked.

"Performapal Bow Hopper is going nowhere because I activate the continuous trap Iron Scarecrow! when you declare a attack with your monster this trap will negate that attack!" Carl explained as a scarecrow appeared in front of Bow hopper protecting it from being destroyed.

"I place once monster face down in defense mode and end my turn" she said while fanning herself with her remaining cards on her hand.

"Time to put your A-game on Yuya" Carl cheered.

"Here's my prediction, you're gonna lose and we're gonna win by a unexpected twist! I draw! before I make a Move both Fortune Ladies Dark and Water levels increase by one and they gain more attack points" Yuya first said as Fortune Ladies Dark and Water Level increases.

Fortune Lady Water: Level/6 → 7 Atk/1800 → 2100
Fortune Lady Dark: Level/5 → 6 Atk/2000 → 2400

"Now I'm setting the Pendulum scale with scale one Stargazer Magician and Scale eight Timegazer Magician, I'm taking control of this duel, starting now!" Yuya yelled.

Yuya placed the two Pendulum cards on the outermost spots on his duel disk. The word "Pendulum" began to appear with a rainbow gradient effect. From either side of Yuya, a column of blue light shot into the sky. Both of Yuya's monsters floated into the air with Timegazer Magician on the left and Timegazer on the right. The numbers one and eight appeared below their corresponding monster as a giant pendulum appeared above him.

"Now I can summon monsters from levels two through seven all at the same time. Swing far pendulum of my soul! Draw an arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action!" Yuya yelled as Carl smirked.

The pendulum continued to swing back and forth over and over again gaining more speed as it did so. Within seconds, a portal appeared above Yuya. five beams of light descended from the portal crashing into the ground. His monsters were now on the field.

"Turn up the Heat Ood-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" 

Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Atk/2500

"Shake things up Performapal Elephammer!"

Performapal Elephammer: Atk/2600

"Make your way to victory Performapal Kaleidoscorp!"

All Yuya's Monsters are on the field ready for what will happen next even his Bow Hopper's feeling a bit more comfortable now that it has its other Performapal buddies on the field with it.

The three kids watch this with excitement.

"Five Monsters at once this gives me the chills!" Frederick stated excitedly.

"Yeah, and Let's not forget about Carl's Fortune Ladies" Allie added fangirling over the Taller Male's monsters.

"We'll see" Aura said.

"What's that mean?"

Aura shakes her head "you don't get it-" Aura begins to talk while Carl goes to Yuya and shakes his shoulder to get his attention.

"Carl?" he questions before Carl whispered something in his ear and then pulls away from Yuya "Okay Carl I'm putting all my trust in you" he Yuya said before getting on Performapal Partnaga "When Partnaga is summon I get to choose one monster and giving it's attack points a helping hand! So now Odd-Eyes gets three hundred more attack points for every Performapal on my field! so that's a twelve-hundred-point power up!" Yuya explained as he jumps off Performapal Partnaga only to be caught by Fortune Lady Water and she helps him sit on Odd-Eyes.

Odd-eyes Pendulum Dragon: 2500 → 3700

"Odd Eyes attack Tarotreith!" He yelled as he and Odd-Eyes charges at the Ritual Monster

"I activate Tarotreith's special ability! I flip my monster face up to attack mode meet Prediction Princess Petalelf!" Aura said as another monster appeared on the field as Carl smirked.

Prediction Princess Petalelf: Atk/800

"you can flip summon on my turn!?" Yuya questioned with disbelief.

Aura nods "Now when this card is flip summoned all of your Monsters changes to Defense mode" Aura explains as Odd-Eyes, Elephammer, Dark and Water changes to Defense mode.

"And once that happens your monster can't change back to attack mode in this turn" Aura finishes explaining.

Carl smirked again "Yeah you're right..." Yuya said before smiling "but you didn't say anything about the next person's turn" he reminded her which Aura got caught off guard forgetting the fact that is a two on one duel

"Now time for the real fun to begin! I draw!" Carl yelled as he draws a card and sees Fortune Lady Calling and smiled brightly "just the card I need!" he stated as Arua looks at Carl curiously.

Fortune Lady Water: Level/7 → 8 Def/2100 → 2400

"To starts things off I'll be summoning from my hand Fortune Lady Wind!" Carl yelled as Fortune Lady Wind appeared in the field between Water and Dark.

Fortune Lady Wind: Atk/? → 900

"Don't blame me after I send you flying" Wind said.

"Next I'll be activating the spell card that I just drew, Fortune Lady Calling! This Spell allows me to summon another Fortune Lady Monster from anywhere in my deck" Carl explained as he pulls out Fortune Lady Fire's Card from his deck "and I'm Choosing Fortune Lady Fire!" Carl yelled as Fortune Lady Fire appeared from a pillar of flames behind the other three Fortune Ladies that are in the field.

Fortune Lady Fire: Atk/? → 400

"Looks like Odd-Eyes is not the only one turning up the heat" Fire said.

"Alright then I'll be choosing both of my Fortune Ladies and Yuya's Odd-Eyes to change their positions into attack mode" he then explained.

Odd-eyes Pendulum Dragon: Atk/3700
Fortune Lady Water: Atk/2400
Fortune Lady Dark: Atk/2800

"Now I'm Activating Fire's special ability! when she's special summoned in attack mode one of your monsters will be automatically destroyed and there more miss Aura the attack points of the destroyed monster turns into damage" Carl explained shocking Aura.

"What!?" she questioned with shock.

"Now watch and learn, Fortune Lady Fire, Destroy Prediction Princess Tarotreith with cursed flame!" Carl Yelled 

Fortune Lady Fire swung her staff around causing the blood red gem at the top to glow. With a downward swing, a column of fire poured out from the gem flying straight over to Aura and her monster to they're hit Tarotreith to be destroyed and Aura takes twenty-seven hundred points of damage.

Aura: 4000 - 1300

"Fortune Lady Wind attack Petalelf with cursed winds" Carl yells as Fortune Lady wind's staff glows and releases a gush of Charp winds destroying Petalelf.

Aura: 1300 - 1200

"I'll end my turn" Carl finished before looking at Yuya and nodded at him.

Aura scoffs before setting another monster face down in defense mode ending her turn without saying another word.

"All yours Yuya, give her a good show" Carl said to his red and green hair friend.

Yuya nodded "Sure" he said before he draws, and his eyes widen with shock to see the Polymerization card.

Carl sees the Card and his eyes widen with shock as well "wait isn't that card Yuzu's?" he questioned.

Yuya thought 'there could only be one thing left to do' Yuya thought as he saw a vision of a unfamiliar dragon which made him gasped with shock.

"I'm ending my turn" he said shocking Aura even more.

"I draw!" Carl yelled as he draws a card and sees a card that he never seen Before 'I'd never seen a spell card like this one before' he thought.

"I'll be activating the spell Destiny's chances! this Continuous spell allows me to automatically activate a monster of my choosing's ability on every standby phase of my turn specifically, and I choose Fortune Lady Water! Now Water's special ability activates it allows me to draw two cards from my deck" he explained as he drew two cards from his Deck and those are Fortune Lady Light and another Fortune Lady Calling spell card "I'll be ending my turn for now" he finished as Aura begin to grow a little irritated by their choices.

'Are they toying with me!? wait I can't assume that just, yet they could be expecting me to think that way' she thought as she draws a card "I flip summon Prediction Princess Astromorrigan!" she yelled as a monster appeared.

Prediction Princess Astromorrigan: Atk/1300

"Now her special ability activates say goodbye to your duel monsters in defense mode they all be destroyed but it gets worse you two will take two hundred points of damage each, Sure Carl had sent your strongest monsters to fight but leave some other completely defenseless" Aura then explained. "I'll be ending my turn say goodbye to your monsters Yuya!" Aura stated as Performapals Bow Hopper, Elephammer, Springoose, Partnaga and Kaleidoscorp gets destroyed leaving Yuya and Carl taking a thousand points of damage.

Yuya: 3200 - 2200
Carl: 4000 - 3000

"My Pendulum monsters aren't gone for good they go to my extra deck!" Yuya said as he sends Partnaga, and Kaleidoscorp to the extra deck.

"Alright then, your move now" Aura

"I draw!" Yuya yelled as he draws a card.

"Now Ladies and Gentlemen scale one Stargazer magician and scale eight Timegazer magician are already in their places, Now I can summon monsters from levels two to seven all at the same time swing far pendulum, mark the arc of victory! my monsters are ready to swing into action!" Yuya yelled as his two Pendulum monsters returned to the field.

"Time for my encore performance here are my monsters, next I activate Springoose's special ability! by vanishing it from the graveyard I can return two cards to my hand" he said as his Timegazer and Stargazer Magicians returned to his hand " so come back Timegazer and Stargazer" Yuya stated as he sees the vision again but this time more determined "next I tribute Kaleidoscorp to summon level five Stargaze Magician

Carl's eyes widen in realization 'Don't tell me he's gonna...' he questioned while looking at Yuya.

"Fusion Summon!" He hears his Fortune Ladies stating at the same time.

"Next I activate the spell card Polymerization!" Yuya yelled as he activated the mentioned card to his duel disk "I'm fusing Stargazer Magician with Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" Yuya stated as the two mentioned monsters flew up while they flew up in the air and then Odd eyes turn into a sphere of red light while Timegazer Magician turns into a lavender color glowing sphere, and they swirl together while glowing brighter.

"This is it the moment you dueltaiment fans has been waiting for is here! Stand up, make way, and get set in tears! I Fusion Summon! Ladies and Gentlemen, now taking Center Stage, please give it up for the spotlight stealing Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya yelled as a new dragon appears from behind Yuya and Roars at Aura.

Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon: Atk/3000

Carl looks at them with awe "wow...he did it" he muttered.

"Nice try Yuya, but I still have more than enough Life points to survive!" Aura reminded him.

Yuya smirked "hate to break it to you but your Fortune-telling days are over 'cuz here's something you never saw coming! when I fuse a spellcaster to form Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon the number of times my Rune-eyes gets to attack depends on that monster's level" Yuya explained.

"Since Timegazer Magician is a level five monster he can attack you five times if he pleases" Carl added which Intimidated Aura.

"But for now I'll only attack you once since you clearly forgot who is also in this Duel!" Yuya stated as he gets on his Dragon, and they dash around the Action Field "Ready or not here I come" Yuya said to Aura who looked at him awestruck by Yuya's awesomeness, and Carl seemed to be very uncomfortable with it.

'Ew what's with this feeling?' Carl questioned.

"Yo girls someone here is getting jealous right now" Dark teases.

Water sighed "Dark, please..." she said.

Dark looks at Water with a 'Really bitch?' look "you're gonna tell me that I'm wrong? you're gonna look at me in the eyes and tell me that I'm wrong?" Dark questioned

"Girls focus Yuya didn't finish his turn" Wind reminded them.

"Run eyes take out Astromorrigan Triple spiral sky shot!" Yuya yelled as Rune-eyes Pendulum Dragon fires a blue beam from the circle that is attached on its back destroying Aura's monster in the process. Aura looks focus on Yuya who she sees that he winked at her, Carl takes a back seeing that feeling unsure why.

'The time will come soon, no need for rush' A vision flashed before Carl's eyes he didn't identify the face but somehow their voice sounded, and the silhouette seemed...familiar to him.

Carl seemed to be too zoned out to noticed that the Action field starts to turn back to normal making him fall on his back harshly which he winced in pain.

As he gets up only to be helped by both Sora and Yuzu who just arrived from Sora's final duel which he won.

"Oh, hey guys " he said as he turned to them "So you won Sora?" Carl then asked.

Sora Nodded "Yep it was easy peasy" he said.

Carl chuckled "Lemon squeezy" he joked although is sad to know that Sora's going to betray them someday but at least he enjoyed the friendship while it last.

Yuzu smiled as Yuya returns her Polymerization card only for Yuya to be tackled by a lovesick Aura who's been blabbering about Yuya being her Duelmate while nuzzling him.

Yuzu clearly not liking the sound of that as she pulls out her giant Fan 'must protect the ship' She thought before charging at Yuya who ran away with Arua still clinging on him as Carl simply sighed defeatedly as he walks off without no one noticing him.

'What's the point trying to figure out if you have a chance?' Carl questioned as he walks out with a tear rolling down his eyes.
