"I just... I can't live like this." ~ Three

"Don't. Stop. You can't force me." The black haired girl whimpered in fear, her eyes locked to her best friend in front of her.

"Please, Three. I don't want you or Tenzo to die. They will eventually find me even if we run away."

"There must be another way!" Three exclaimed in panic, gripping the metal bars in front of her tightly. Her body started trembling, but Tenzo, whose cell was in front of hers, only hardened his gaze.

"She's right, Three." Tenzo confirmed, obviously trying to hold back his tears, "We can't let them take Mizu's kekkei genkai. They will destroy our village, especially with all the information we have in our minds."

Three gritted her teeth. One of her hand let go of the railing, wiping away her tears, before slowly creating a single black kunai made of crystal.

"Is this really what you want...?" She whispered. Mizu nodded, as she pulled away a few strands of her pink hair from her face, revealing her soft watery green eyes.

"I have nothing to lose, Three. Just you and Tenzo. If my death can save you two, I would be happy to kill myself. Do it, Three." She said with a small smile.

Tears had already fell from their eyes. Their bodies were trembling, not because of the cold or their wounds, but because of fear and sorrow.

Tenzo gripped the metal bars in front of him tightly, turning away from the two cells across his.

Mizu gave her teammates a soft reassuring smile, wiping away the tears from her eyes.

Three hold her breath, as she closed her eyes, and threw the crystal kunai in an incredible speed. It hit Mizu's chest in a perfect aim, stabbed right through her heart.

"Thank you guys." A soft whisper was heard, before the lifeless body fell onto the ground with a loud thud.

The other girl stared at her hand, gripping her wrist tightly, trying to stop it from shaking, as she fell onto her knees, letting out a scream of agony, with silent sobs of another boy as the background.

Three jolted up awake. Panting heavily, she ran her fingers through her black hair, before she stood up and let out a sigh.

"Damn it..." She muttered, rubbing the unshed tears from her eyes. She turned her gaze at Naruto's sleeping figure, and a small smile crept onto her face.

'Aww... Don't tell me that you're in love...' Zeiko said in her mind, causing Three to inwardly scoff.

'It's just that he's so innocent... So oblivious... '

Zeiko hummed in response. She jumped out of Three's body, and left.

*Time skip*

Three's P.O.V.

"Well, now that you're all here, let's just start the training. You're going to climb a tree-" Kakashi started, but Sakura and Naruto cut him off.

"Climb a tree?!" They exclaimed.

"-without your hands." he finished.

I started walking on the tree, while the others talking about chakra and blah blah blah.

When I reached the top, I took out a kunai, and mark my spot. Then I sat on the highest branch, watching the others who is still talking.

"Hey! Where's Three?!" Naruto suddenly yelled, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Look up."

"Not fair! You had already started before us!" Sakura screeched, and I scoffed.

I jumped down and said, "Bakashi, I'll take a walk. Don't looking for me, I'll be fine." He nodded, and I teleported away.

I re-appeared in the middle of a clearing. I pulled out a small kunai, twirling it around my fingers.

Then my instinct, my subconscious, took control. What happened next is like a blur.

All I see, all recognise, is blood. On the kunai, on my arm, dripping down my fingers, landing on the grass, staining it in red.

Images starts running through my mind.

The pink haired girl with her bright green eyes, smiling softly while bandaging my arm. Mizu.

The light in her eyes gone. She coughed up blood, before she fell to the ground. She was killed.

A kunai was pierced into her chest. The weapon was stabbed into her heart. By me.

Mizu was killed by me.

I starts hyperventilating. Mizu was killed by me. Mizu was dead. I killed Mizu. I killed my best friend. The only one who didn't think of me as a monster.

I really am a monster.

My body went cold. Dizziness overtook me. But I couldn't give in. I couldn't close my eyes.

This curse... The curse of being the Ten-Tails jinchūriki...

You can't kill yourself.

I learned this from experience. No matter what I do, I survived.

Clutching my burning chest, I gritted my teeth, as I took some raspy breaths.
I calmed myself down, before picking up the kunai I dropped, and start over.

"I just... I can't live like this."

*Time skip*

Third Person's P.O.V.

Dinner. No one enjoys it. Not at all.

Sasuke and Naruto were wolfing down their foods, trying to win their pointless, ridiculous competition.

Zeiko kept growling, suspicion in her eyes. The blonde haired woman leaned on the counter, near the sink, staring at Three. Pyro stayed in his human form, watching Zeiko with such intensity, standing beside the doorway. While Three herself didn't eat at all, but just glared at Pyro, standing in the corner of the room, crossing her arms.

Even Sakura noticed. The tension between the 3 wolves is choking her. But Kakashi didn't bother. He enjoyed his book already. However, as Pyro starts growling, he decided to speak up.

"What's up with you three canines?"

Naruto and Sasuke, after they heard this, decided to stop their competition, and put down their chopsticks, wanting to know what's wrong.

Sakura froze as well.

Good thing Tazuna and his family had gone upstairs to rest. The air became thicker and thicker.

Then Zeiko snapped.

"I can smell the blood clearly. Admit it, Three."

Three turned at her. "I believe I do not understand what are you talking about." She replied in monotone.

"... We must finish this. Outside." Pyro stated coldly, as he walked out of the room.

Zeiko disappeared, while Three scoffed. She turned at her teammates.

"I'm going out. Do not follow me, unless you want to bear the consequences. Your choice."

With that, she turned into a wolf, and left.

Kakashi narrowed his eyes. He watched as his student disappeared, and sighed. Standing up, her decided to watch the canines.

I know I didn't give the update that soon, and the chapter really isn't that great. I know, and I'm so sorry.

However, I updated sooner than usual. Right? It's not a long chapter, and I'm not really proud of it. Now that I got more and more stories to update, I just sometimes forgot to take care of I'm Just A Monster.
