(Ri's pov)
    
        "I see so you were rescued from the streets and was forced to kill in order to protect your younger brother." The hokage said his face full of conflict and pity. I nod with a scowl. I hate it when people take pity on me it makes me feel weak. "You said something about a mark you received went you became a assassin." "Yes, when I became an assassin I was marked just as everyone else who was in the organization." "What does marked mean exactly? Can you show us?" "Damn, I had hoped he wouldn't ask that." "Kid what does it mean? I mean I saw bits of you life and pieces of your life but, mostly when you were younger; before you made that deal." "So even you don't know. Well listen good cause I hate to repeat myself."

          I lift up the bangs that covered my right eye. I heard the hokage and Kakashi gasp. "Ri what is that?"

         On my right eye was a black tattoo of the kanji of shadows. "This is what marked means. When you become an assassin you receive a new name and a tattoo symbolizing what you are. My name became Shadow and my right eye was marked with the kanji for shadow. The day you receive this you become part of the family. A family of killers."

          Kakashi was about to say something but, the hokage stopped him. "Ri you must now realize that we can not allow you to run freely in our village. So as of now you and Samui are to live with Kakashi until I see you trustworthy." "NANI!?" "Hokage-sama are you sure why me I'm getting a team soon and I won't be able to watch them ." "Hokage I can't live with that old pervert." "I'm not old!" "Then explain the white hair and you didn't denie that you are a pervert." "Now, now you two. Ri you may be a danger to the village from you past and being the jinjuriki of the ten tailed shadow and I believe that Kakashi is the best choice." I was about to argue but the sound of Samui laughing through the door stopped me and I smirked under my mask. "This could be a good chance for us." "How so?" "He may not show it but, Samui sees Kakashi as a father figure and even though he is a pervert I think Kakashi can help us start trusting others." The sound of Kage's laugh echoed through my head. "Brat you just get more interesting by the minute." "Alright old man." They both looked surprised at my sudden change in attitude. "Well it seems that you have two new kids Kakashi." "Kakashi's in for hell." "Would you get out of my head."  "Now Kakashi why don't you go help Samui and Ri move and Ri." I look up at the hokage who had a large smile on his face. "I hope you pass the exam tomorrow, I know you will make a excellent ninja." I nod nod and give him a small smile through my mask in return. "Thank you lord hokage. I won't let you down." I said turning to leave.

(Timeskip)

        "Is this really all you have?" Kakashi asked holding up two bags full of all our cloths, as I pulled my twin swords out from under my bed (remember the ones she bought in chapter 5) and strapped them to my back. "Yeah, when we were sent here we only had the cloths on our backs so when the hokage gave us money I was only able to buy a few cloths for each of us and a few ninja weapons. It not that big of a deal. I mean we don't need that much. Besides I hate shopping." He gave me a confused look. "I thought girls were suppose to like shopping?" "Do I look like a normal girl to you?" Kakashi let out a small chuckle. "I guess not."

(Kakashi's pov)

       "Alright that's all of it." Ri said walking into the living room where Samui and Kage were once again arguing. "I told you brat your sister said your not going to be a ninja so let it go!" "But I want to become stronger and help Nii-san!" They had been arguing like this ever since we got back from the hokage's office. Apparently Ibuki told Samui he would make an excellent ninja when he got older and Samui has been asking if he could join the ninja academy ever since.

     "Samui." Ri voice broke through their argument as they both turned to her. "Sigh. If you really want to join the academy I will let you." I turned to her in shock as Samui started cheering. "But." He stops and turns to her. "But if you do you must work hard and prove to me that you can become a great ninja." Samui then tackles Ri is a hug that knocks both of them to the ground as Kage mumbles curses under his breath. I smile at them. They really are such kids.

(Ri's pov)

     Kakashi's house was a small two story apartment. "Alright Ri your room is down the hall and Samui yours is upstairs." Kakashi said as a small of dog appeared. I recognized him as Kakashi summoning from the anime. "Pakun what are you doing here?" Samui immediately  pulled the poor dog into a bone crushing hug. "PUPPY!" Pakun growled at him. "Kid do I look like a puppy and put me down are you trying to kill me." I stiffen a laugh as Samui dropped Pakun and Kakashi sweatdropped. "Well see you guys in the morning and Samui don't forget you have you first day of ninja school tomorrow." I said walking to my room with Kage behind me. "Hei Nii-san!" Samui said running up the stairs to his. "What did I do to end up looking after two kids." I heard Kakashi mumble and he walked his room which happened to be next to mine.

        I smiled as I fell onto my bed, to tired to change, and fall into a dreamless sleep.
