"WOW LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT BRIDGE!!!" Naruto screamed and the rower of the boat shushed him.

"You idiot. The entire reason I'm rowing this boat and not using the engine is to stay hidden in the fog. But with you screaming like that the assassins will find us before we reach the shore." The rower said and Naruto just pouted. 

"Naruto don't pout. Ninja aren't suppose to pout." I said for the floor of the boat where I was sitting because all the other seats were taken.

"Tazuna before we reach shore you must tell us about the man who is trying to kill you and why." 

 "Alright, the man who is after me is a very powerful tycoon that controls most of the small islands in the land of the waves. Our island is one of them." 

Hey kid.

What do you want Kage. I thought I told you to stay out of my head.

Yeah, yeah I know I just wanted to tell you that there is a large amount of chakra near you.

So you felt it to, then.

Yeah even if you leave me here on babysitting duty I'll still be able to know what's going on at your end so just a little reminder before you do anything dangerous. Don't die.

Aw you really do care.

No I don't I just don't want to die with you, stupid brat!

Annoying wolf.

"Ri come on we need to hurry to Tazuna-san's house." Sakura said pulling me out of my argument with Kage. I see that they are already out of the boat and waiting for me. 

"Right, coming." I said and caught up with them. Naruto of course was trying to act cool by throwing kunai into the surrounding trees. A small scream comes from one of the bushes that Naruto threw a kunai into. It was a bunny.

"Naruto! Now look what you did! You nearly hit this cute little bunny!" Sakura shouts and picked up the white bunny. Wait white? But it's summer? That bunny should be brown, not white unless, someone used it for a substitution! 

That's when I sensed it. "Duck!" Kakashi yelled, I had to tackle Naruto so his head wouldn't get chopped off by the flying sword. A ninja appeared on top of the swords handle. Zabuza Momochi.

Suddenly Naruto tries to rush Zabuza luckily Kakashi stops him before he can get himself killed. "You're in the way get back, Naruto."

"But why?" Naruto asked.

He's in the black book the hokage gave me and from what I've read of his record, he isn't going to be easy to kill. "This guy is different from the other two we fought. He's in a whole other league. If he's our opponent I'll be needing this." Kakashi said and revealed his sharingan, suddenly I feel my kemono me activate on its own and pain erupts throughout my entire body. What the hell is this? Why am I suddenly in pain? 

"Kakashi Hatake of the sharingan eye. Did I get that right? It seems that Konoha's shadow is with you also and he possesses the Kemono me and here I thought the Yami clan was all wiped out. No wonder the demon brothers weren't able to kill the old man. It's an honor to see the Sharingan and Kemono me in action." Kakashi glanced at me, I can see that he's telling me not to get involved in the fight but no way am I going to let that happen. Sasuke seems to tense at the sight of the sharingan.

Ri cover your eyes, now!!!

I hear Kage's voice suddenly yell but I ignore him and focus on the situation at hand. No way am I going to let a little pain get in the way of fighting. "Quickly Mangi formation and stick together, protect the bridge builder. Stay out of this fight. I taught you teamwork, now it's time to use it."Kakashi orders and I give him a glare. No way am I going to let him fight this guy alone but, why do I get the feeling that the others are going to  need my help more than Kakashi.

"Whats going on whats with everyone and why does everyone keep saying sharingan and Kemono me? Will someone tell me what they are?" Naruto asked.

"The Sharingan is a rare power that resides in the eyes of the Uchiha clan. The user of these eyes can easily see and comprehend any ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and genjutsu and reflect the attack back on the original user. It's very rare and very powerful but there's more to the Sharingan much more." Sasuke explains and Naruto looks at me for the rest.

"The Kemono me is very similar to the Sharingan but it's far older and can do far more the Sharingan. It belongs to the Yami clan who uses Shadow type jutsu to match with the Kemono me's power. The Kemono me can copy any jutsu even from scrolls, can magnify the user's power and even more. The power of the Kemono me is still a mystery but it is known to be one of the most powerful of the dojutsu just like that of it's relative the Sharingan." I explain and Sasuke glares at me. Great another thing he's going to ask me about later. 

"You got that right kiddies but you only scratched the surface. The Sharingan and Kemono me can copy and opponent move down to the smallest detail." Didn't I just say that and what's he doing calling me a kid?

If you would listen to me you would know to get out of there now! If you fight with that damn sharingan present your not going to live to see tomorrow.

Why the pain only hurts a little?

That's because you're using any chakra for it yet but if you or Kakashi actually put power behind your eyes you will most likely die from the pain and Kakashi may get hurt.

Why? Is there something between the Kemono me and Sharingan that you didn't tell me about?

We'll talk about this later just get out of there!

No I'm not going to leave my team just because of a little pain. I've been stabbed in the back for crying out loud and I was still able to fight. I'll just cover my eyes with chakra.

Stupid brat! Just don't die and be warned, you got lucky that Kakashi only has one Sharingan. If he had two and was an Uchiha you eyes would bleed and no amount of chakra could help you with that pain. We'd be in real trouble then.

Whatever.

I tell him and cover my eyes in chakra. The pain receded slightly.  "In the hidden Mist Assassination team we had standing orders to destroy you on sight. They called you the man who copied 1000 jutsus, Kakashi the Copy ninja. From what I hear now the same order still stands, along with Konoha's Shadow the boy who appeared out of the shadows and killed over 150 S-rank ninja in one mission alone then disappeared back into the shadows." He said and the team stares at me in shock. 

"I was under orders." I said bluntly and they quickly dropped the subject.

"Wow that's so cool! Who knew Kakashi-sensei and Ri-chan were so awesome!" Naruto says out of nowhere. I can feel Sasuke's gaze piercing into the back of Kakashi and my heads.

"Enough talking. I need to exterminate the old man, now!" Zabuza said. Wait but wasn't he the one talking? 

(3rd pov)

The team stood back to back with Tazuna standing in the middle. "So I'll have to eliminate you first, kakashi." Zabuza said and disappeared. Kakashi looks around for him when Sakura spots him.

"Kakashi there he is! Standing on the water!" She shouts as Zabuza does the hidden mist jutsu and disappears again. Bloodlust filled the air and Sasuke began to shiver. Fear overtook him as he aims his kunai at his throat.

"Sasuke! Calm down, I'll protect you with my life. All of you. I will not allow my comrades to die." He said and smiled, calming Sasuke down. Kakashi looks around once again until Naruto calls out.

"Kakashi-sensei, Ri has disappeared!" He shouts. Kakashi turns around just as Zabuza appears in the middle of the group and tries to strike Tazuna. In a flash Ri is there blocking Zabuza's attack with a single katana. But Ri looks different from before.

Her Kemono me was activated and spinning wildly. A murderous aura was surrounding her, cutting through the weaker aura in the air and a cold, dead look was present under her mask. "Zabuza Momochi, your bloodlust brings back so many memories of my assassination days. I must say it's getting me into a very murderous mood." She said, sending shivers down the rest of the teams spines. "That was a very inspirational speech Kakashi. I must admit it almost touched my heart." Ri said before plunging a kunai into Zabuza but, instead of blood water pooled out and she smirks. "I knew it. A water clone." And she disappears once again.

"DIE!" Zabuza shouts as he slashes through "Kakashi". He smirks but, soon realises that all he killed was Kakashi's own water clone. Kakashi appeared behind Zabuza. "Now it's over. You're finished." Kakashi said and made beckoning motion with his free hand. Ri appears next to Sasuke, frowning. 

"I would prefer to see him dead before I reveal myself." She said and Zabuza begins to laugh.

"Finished? You should listen to the shadow Kakashi because you seriously don't get. Your technique is nothing more than a cheap imitation. I'll never be defeated by a mere copycat like you." He said. "But you did surprise me. You had already copied my water clone jutsu when you made that little speech and I wasn't expecting the Shadow to be able to stop me. Very skillfully executed. You made your clone say those words to draw my attention while you both hid in the mist, waiting for me to make my move. Nice try." He said and appeared behind Kakashi. Ri pulled out her other katana and stood at the ready.

Kakashi destroyed the clone and Zabuza kicked him into the water. "Sensei!" Naruto shouts and Ri goes to follow them but, Sasuke grabs onto her, holding her back.

"Sasuke let go of me. " She said but he doesn't seem to listen and tightens his grip. Kakashi comes back to the surface only to be trapped in a water prison.

"This prison is made of water but is stronger than steel. It's hard to fight when you can't move, so much for the great Kakashi, I'll finish you off later." Zabuza said and turned towards the rest of the team. 

"Well it looks like we're in deep shit now." Ri said. As Zabuza created another water clone.

"You think where a headband makes you a ninja? When you've hovered between life and death so many times it doesn't faze you. Then you may be called a ninja. The Shadow knows what I mean. I can see it in his eyes. He has lived with death just as I have." He said. "Only when you've become so deadly that your profile is entered into my bingo book will I ever consider you ninja but, calling children like you ninja is a joke." And he disappeared, kicking Naruto across the mossy ground, knocking off his headband in the process. 

"You're just brats." He said and stomped on Naruto's headband. Ri tries once again to get out of Sasuke's grip without hurting him but, he does let go.

"Naruto!" 

"Listen get the bridge builder and run! You can't win this fight!" Kakashi said causing Ri to smirk.

"Look who you're talking to Kakashi. Do you really this were just going to leave you behind. We're just too stubborn to listen." Ri says and is finally able to slip out of Sasuke's grip. She pulls him to his feet and goes over to Naruto.

"What!? Ri listen get away, now! He's using most of his energy to keep me imprisoned. He's fighting with his water clone! If you get away quickly he won't be able to follow you!" He shouts and the rest of the team is frozen except for Ri who is now glaring at Kakashi.

"Idiot." She said and this seems to snap the others out of their shock. "You really think he won't come after us once we run away and he kills you? If you think I'll be able to protect them once you're gone think again. If you stay I stay and that's the end of this melodramatic argument." She says.

"We've got to help." Sasuke said and rushed the clone. He throws shuriken but Zabuza deflects them with a simple wave of his sword. He tries to get above and stab Zabuza with a kunai but Zabuza ends up grabbing him by the neck. Zabuza throws Sasuke only for Ri to catch him and crash into a tree, shielding him with her body. 

"Sasuke! Ri! No!" Sakura yells as Ri helps Sasuke to his feet. A stream of blood runs down Ri's face from under her bangs. 

"He got Sasuke!" Naruto said and after thinking for a while stands up. He seemed to have calmed down and had a determined look on his face as he rushes Zabuza only to be kicked away as well.

Ri caught him as well and avoided hitting any trees this time. She saw the reason on why he did something that stupid and smirked at him but it seems Sakura didn't see. "What do you think you were doing?! Not even Sasuke could get to him! What did you think you were going to accomplish?! We're only genin and he's a jonin!" She said but stopped once she saw him holding his headband.

"Naruto." Ri said and he looked up at her expecting her to glare at him like he was stupid but instead he saw her smirking and leaded him a hand. " Good job. I must say that took guts." She said.

"Hey Zabuza! Put this in you bingo book! I'm Naruto Uzumaki, future Hokage of the hidden leaf village, believe it!" He said then motioned for Ri and Sasuke to move closer. "Okay I have a plan." 

"So you're finally thinking about teamwork huh?" Sasuke said.

"Come on Sasuke cut the guy some slack. You got to expect him to act stupid before he ever learns his lesson." Ri said, Naruto rubbed the back of his head and smiled.

"Alright guys, let's go wild!" He said and shared his plan with the others.

(Ri's pov)

Naruto's plan was pretty crazy but, then again this is Naruto we're talking about so it's expected to be. "Okay ready? Let's bring this guy down."

"Big words for such a small man. You think your plan going to keep you in the game?" Zabuza said.

"I told you to run! Get out of here!" Kakashi yelled. "Your mission is to protect the bridge builder, not prove how brave you are! Stay on the mission!" 

"Naruto looked at Tazuna. "Bridge Builder."

"I guess this is my fault. You forget about me and do what you must to save you teacher."

Sasuke smirked. "Alright you hear that."

"Yeah believe it, you guys ready?" 

"You know I am." I say and Naruto smirks.

Zabuza starts laughing again. "you haven't learned anything have you? Still playing your little game. You're only pretending to be ninja. When I was your age I had already stained my hands in blood." He said and the team looked at him shocked. 

"Zabuza the demon. Long ago in the village hidden in the mist the trial for becoming a ninja was different. The last student alive became a ninja but, they would have to kill the other classmates. Ten years ago in the village hidden in the mist the graduation exam changed. One year before an evil filled the school with fear."

"What does that mean?" Sakura asked but the cold gaze radiating from Ri gave her a pretty good idea.

"Without pause of hesitation a child, not even a ninja, approached the class and took down over 100 students. 

"It felt so... so... good!" He said and elbowed Sasuke in the stomach. He coughed up blood and Zabuza stepped on him. I appeared in front of him and tackled him. 

"No one hurts my teammates!" I said and Naruto made multiple shadow clones. Zabuza stabbed what he thought was me in the stomach but, it was only one of Naruto's shadow clones. The rest of the clones tackled him but it only took one swipe of his sword to send them flying. As they went flying across the ground Naruto through a large sharrukin to Sasuke. Now it was my turn, my job it to distract Zabuza while the other two get ready.

"Hey cow for brains! Over here!" I yell and we clash swords. We sword fight but really I'm only stalling for time. I heard Sasuke call out and I look away for a moment. In that moment Zabuza sees a weakness and his sword pierces through my stomach. 

"RI!" I hear the others yell. I cough up blood and glare at Sasuke, silently telling him to get on with the plan. He must has gotten the message because he throw the large sharrukin and Naruto's plan worked. Kakashi was free, that was the last thing I saw before passing out.

(Dream Pov)

"Ri you damn brat I thought I told you not to die!" I hear Kage yell. He is in his human form.

"But I'm not dead. I know I'm not." I told him.

"Oh and how is that? You look pretty dead to me with being stabbed in the chest by that mist assassin! What were you thinking! You've fought tougher guys than that and got away with barely a scratch." He said.

"First off if I was dead the the ten tails shadow would be released, which I can see that he is not and I guess I was so worried about the others that I left my guard down for a second." I said.

"Damn brat! You're better thank me later, now I have to heal your sorry ass!" He said and a cage appeared behind him.

"Don't you mean I have to heal her. You are made up of my power pup." The ten tails said as he lounges back in his cage also in his human form. 

"Okay can we please find a different name to call you it gets a bit confusing when you're both named Kage. How about you." I point to the Kage in the cage. "You can be shadow, at least then you get to keep you name and we can talk without confusion." I said and he nods. 

The only difference in Kage and Shadow's appearance is that while Shadow is taller, better built, and looks to be about a year older, Kage has pure black eyes that contrast that of Shadow's black eyes and red irises. They are both handsome and fit. Then again they have lived for hundreds of years so anyone would expect them to be fit.

"Well it was lovely speaking with you kid but it seems our job is done. Your out of the woods but please don't do anything life threatening for a while at least. Oh and you might want to eat something when you wake up. You'll getting stabbed in the stomach can really build up an appetite." Shadow said as I came too.

Hello everyone! I know I haven't written in forever and I have no excuse for it. I just had a really bad case of writer's block but now it's gone and I will have the next chapter up very soon. Hope you like the chapter, don't forget to comment and like. I own nothing and Ja Ne!!!
