I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face and in the best worst pain of my life. My legs were aching, my back was stiff, my throat hurt, and my area was burning. I didn't realize how much I missed this feeling until I got it back. I looked to my left but no one was there. Then I looked to my right and the same result occurred. I sat up in pain but I smiled every time I moaned in pain because every time I moaned reminded me of last night.

I got out of bed and limped my way to the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and started to laugh after a while of smiling. I was glowing like I had just made love for the first time. I limped down the stairs and into the kitchen to make myself something to eat. I ate something simple.. Not that you would care but.. I then sat down in front of the television and turned to the Bounce channel. The Cosby Show was going off and Murder at 1600 was coming on.

Suesie: Wesley Snipes! My dude!

I beamed. I watched the whole thing but the only thing was that I was paranoid the whole time.. I kept on hearing things and seeing shadows but when I looked, they were gone. I slowly went to the phone and called my sisters.

Suesie: Hello, Rebbie? Yes this is Suzanne. How are you?.. That's good.. Listen, are you doing anything at the moment?.. Great. Will you please come over and bring LaToya with you?.. Thank you.. That's phenomenal, I'll see you later.. Goodbye.. I Love You too sis.

Just then I thought I heard a door slam shut. I whirled around quickly breathing hard and fast.

Suesie: Say a prayer Suzanne.. Just pray and God will protect you..

I started to quote the 23 Psalms with my eyes wide open and with my back against a wall. I heard a door lock and my fear began to show as I started to recite it even louder.

Suesie: Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death-Michael!- I will fear no evil. -Michael stop playing!-

I heard a knock at the door and I screamed in terror.

Suesie: MICHAEL! MICHAEL HELP ME!

The knocking continued and I heard familiar voice speak to me through the door.

Rebbie: Suzanne! Suzanne what's wrong?

LaToya: Open the door Suzanne!

I looked at the door and ran towards it. I opened it frantically and quickly pulled my sisters inside.

Rebbie: Suzanne what's wrong?

She said worried. I sat down shaking in fear mumbling the 23 Psalms under my breath.

LaToya: Suzanne, please speak to us.

I looked up with tears streaming down my face and a lump in my throat.

Suesie: I was watching Murder at 1600 and then I saw a shadow come across my window. I started to hear things around the house like doors locking and slamming doors. I know it wasn't the movie because I can quote it by heart. I screamed when you knocked on the door and then the noises stopped.

Rebbie: Do you think it was-?

LaToya: Don't even mention that devil's name.

LaToya said cutting Rebbie off. I sat back and covered my eyes as I sighed. I started to think as Rebbie and LaToya sat there talking. Then it hit me.

Suesie: Wait a minute!

Sisters: What?

LaToya & Rebbie said at the same time.

Suesie: It October!

Rebbie: And?

Suesie: And next month is November!

LaToya: Which is the same month that you go back to court!

Rebbie: What's going on here?

I explained everything to Rebbie and she figured it out.

Rebbie: He's coming back to get you because he still so called 'loves' you and wants to stop the lawsuit!

Suesie: Exactly!

Rebbie: Oh my gosh..

LaToya: Well what are you going to do? You have a baby growing inside of you and you could be at risk.

Suesie: I know.. I'll just have to pray hard.

I said rubbing my stomach.

Rebbie: Have you picked out any names yet?

LaToya: Better yet, have you told Michael?

Suesie: No..

I sighed.

Rebbie: Why not?

Suesie: Because I think that now is not the best time to tell him..

LaToya: Well, when will be the right time?

Suesie: I don't know.. Maybe two months from now..

LaToya: Hell no!

Rebbie: LaToya!

LaToya: No Rebbie, I mean what I say. You can't keep this from Michael that long Suzanne because if you do, you and your child could be at risk. If your child even gets to see the light of day before danger hits the both of you..

I started to cry as I remembered what happened to my first child.

Suesie: Why would you say something like that? I know you mean well but why?

LaToya: I'm sorry but it had to be said and you not telling Michael is only putting the baby at risk of an unknown murder. And if the baby dies, there's a possibility that you may die too.

Suesie: I know.. I'll tell him very soon, I promise.

Rebbie: How soon?

Suesie: Very soon.

LaToya: Today..

Suesie: Soon..

LaToya: Either you tell him, or I will.

Suesie: And that's where you go wrong LaToya. You have always done that to me in high school. You have never let me tell someone something for my own self. I want to tell him for myself Toya. Let me do it. It may be today and then it may not be but I will tell Michael.

LaToya: Okay..

LaToya mumbled. I nodded and we watched movies until we decided to cook. Michael walked in the door smiling and elated.

Michael: Mmh! Something smells good.

Michael said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and giving me a kiss on my cheek.

Rebbie: Yes, us sisters cook very well together.

LaToya smiled and giggled. I continued to stir the mixture in the pot and looked at Michael. He kissed me on the lips and I blushed.

Michael: Aw.. My baby's blushing.

Suesie: I'll tell you what, you go and sit down and I'll be there with you in a second.

Michael kissed my neck.

Michael: Don't take too long..

Suesie: I don't know about that.. But I'll be up there soon.

Rebbie: Michael, go upstairs.

Rebbie laughed. Michael rolled his eyes playfully and trudged up the stairs.

LaToya: Suzanne, if you don't slow down, you gon' be havin'-.

Suesie: Zip it! I don't mean to be rude but I don't want any hints..

I semi whispered through my teeth.

Rebbie: Toya, please try to remember what she said.

LaToya: Alright, alright! I will!

LaToya retorted back annoyed. I pouted and gave LaToya a hug from behind.

Suesie: Toya.. Sister, don't be mad. I love you.. I said I love you LJ.

LaToya: I love you too.. Aaliyah!

LaToya said laughing again. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and went back to helping to make dinner. We were done cooking in no time as we laughed and joked around.

Rebbie: Well, now the food is done. Y'all should eat good tonight.

LaToya: Yeah, we have to be on our way now. Goodnight.

Suesie: Why don't you both stay for a little bit and eat with us? Or at least take some with you to go home.

Rebbie: Thank you but we're tired.. Unless you don't mind staying LaToya.

LaToya: No, actually I don't. Why don't we stay for a few more minutes.

Suesie: I'll go and get Michael and then I'll be right back.

Rebbie: Alright.

I went up the stairs and closed the door behind me.

Suesie: Michael.. Baby are you awake?

I felt arm wrap around my waist and kisses being planted on my neck, jawline, and cheek.

Suesie: Michael! Stop that!

I said laughing.

Michael: Why should I?

Suesie: Because I came to tell you something.

Michael turned me and pushed my back up against the wall.

Michael: And what's that?

Michael said starting to kiss me again.

Suesie: I-I came to t-tell you.. Th-that dinnnner is ready.

Michael: I don't want to eat any food right now.

I pushed Michael away gently.

Suesie: Your sisters are down there waiting for us.

Michael looked at me with an irritated expression on his face. Then he blew out some air as he turned around and came back.

Michael: Seriously?

Suesie: Yeah.. Look Michael, don't be like that. I just thought that this would be a good time for us to spend as a family.

Michael: Baby.. Why?

Suesie: Michael, look at me. We will eat dinner and then we will do a few things when they leave..

I said as my voice softened and I made little love circles on his chest. Michael grinned and kissed me passionately. When we pulled away I quickly made an exit.

Suesie: Oh, and don't be too long.

I teased. I went down the stairs and sat down at the table with my two sisters.. Who were grinning.

Suesie: What?

Rebbie: We heard a few things come from up there and you know it.

My facial expression changed immediately and I turned pale.

LaToya: Yeah, a bang sound as if something hit the wall or something..

Suesie: Oh my shi-.

Michael: Hello ladies.

Michael said cutting me off.

Rebbie: Hi Mikey..

LaToya: How's my big brother doing?

They teased. Michael gave them a convoluted look and then looked at me. I looked away in embarrassment as I turned red. My sisters laughed at my reaction and started to eat. I prayed before I ate. When I was done, I started to eat.

LaToya: So Suesie.. Is there anything that you wanna tell Michael?

I stopped eating and looked at her with a death glare.

Suesie: No, actually I don't..

I said keeping my gaze.

LaToya: Are you sure? Because if I'm not mistaken, I thought that you said you had something to say..

I stood up I now had death engraved into my eyes.

Suesie: Like I said, I don't have anything to share.. At least not with Michael.

Michael: Wait a minute, what's going on?

LaToya: What do you have to say? Just say it right here.

LaToya said standing up.

Suesie: I think it's best if we speak in private..

I said through gritted teeth on the word 'private' and putting emphasis on the 't'.

Michael: Baby, just calm down now.

LaToya: I think it's best if we speak right here.

I had had enough of this nonsense. I walked around the table, grabbed LaToya's wrist, and dragged her outside. Rebbie stayed with Michael to stall him. When we were far away from hearing distance, I began to shout.

Suesie: What the fuck was that LaToya?

I screamed angrily.

LaToya: What do you mean? I'm just trying to move things along here!

Suesie: That has always been your problem. You have always done this to me back in high school! Give me a break! Let me do this my way!

LaToya: I just want you to tell him so it can be done and over with! I want to share the news with other people!

I sighed.

Suesie: Look. I know that you mean well but right now, you're pissing me the fuck off!

LaToya: How the hell am I pissing you off? Oh wait, mommy dearest here doesn't want daddy to know yet.

Suesie: If you would have waited five fucking minutes, maybe I would have told him the news!

LaToya: Calm your ass down! Its bad for the baby, first off. Second, I just couldn't wait!

Suesie: Why can't you? I tell you one thing that I don't want anyone else to know and then 'BOOM!' I get a big 'Fuck you!' right in the face!

LaToya: I ain't got time to hear this shit..

Suesie: Oh really? Cause if I remember correctly, wasn't it you who got me started?

LaToya: Look I'm sorry! There's your apology!

Suesie: Thank you!

LaToya: You're welcome!

It was silent for a while between us and then I finally broke it.

Suesie: I can't ever tell you shit again unless I want it exploited to everyone and they momma.

LaToya: Oh really? That's how it's going to be? Fine! Look, I love you but right now, I'm just pissed at you.

Suesie: HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL!

I said laughing sarcastically. LaToya started to laugh with me and then we stopped at the same time.

LaToya: All I'm saying is that I just want this excitement out of my system!

Suesie: All I'm saying is five fucking minutes until I say 'Michael, I'm pregnant.'

LaToya's facial expression changed and she made hand movements as I spoke. But I continued to talk anyway.

Suesie: What the hell are you doing?

LaToya: Oh shit..

LaToya said shaking her head as she looked down.

Suesie: What?

LaToya: Turn around..

I turned around to the biggest shock of my life..

Michael: You're pregnant?
