We left the house and were on our way to my birthday after-party. We played Whitney Houston's music and blasted Jagged Edge, Will Smith, and Boys 2 Men all the way there. We arrived at our destination and got out.

LaToya: What do you think Sue?

Suesie: I absolutely love it!

I said gazing with dreamy eyes at the place. Janet grabbed my hand and I smiled at her. We walked inside and the inside was more beautiful than the outside. LaToya guided me to a room after we checked in and we all changed clothes. LaToya lead me to another room with a bench and steam. We all relaxed there and talked occasionally.

LaToya: What do you think about this place?

Suesie: I cannot even begin to thank you enough! This must've cost a fortune!

LaToya shook her head.

LaToya: No. Fifty dollars for us and fifteen for Janet is nothing.

Suesie: Thank you.

LaToya: You're welcome.

Suesie: Janet?

Janet looked at me.

Suesie: Why are you so quiet?

Janet: I don't know..

Suesie: What do you mean? I'm your sister now, you can speak to me.

I said turning my attention to her. Janet started playing with her fingers.

Janet: I just miss my brother, that's all.

Suesie: Michael?

Janet: Applehead..

Janet said nodding.

Suesie: What's wrong J?

Janet: Michael never spends time with me anymore and I miss him. We used to play with each other and now he's always gone..

Suesie: With me..

I said feeling bad.

Janet: Yeah..

Suesie: I'm sorry J.. I'll tell you what, I'll plan a day for just you and Michael to hang out together. Would that be good?

Janet smiled.

Janet: That would be great.

Suesie: I love you J.

I said giving her a hug.

Janet: It's hot in here.

Suesie: I agree.. Toya, can we go?

LaToya looked at me as if I said that I was getting a divorce.

LaToya: Why?

Suesie: Its a little too hot in here.

LaToya nodded.

LaToya: Follow me.

We were then lead to a room filled with pools.. Pools of mud.

LaToya: This is a mud bath. It makes you relieve stress and have a nice relaxing time.

Suesie: That sounds nice.. But why mud?

LaToya: Great question.... I don't know.

I laughed along with Janet.

Suesie: Nice to know.

Janet: Let's get in!

I laughed at Janet's eagerness. We all got in and we all enjoyed the sound of nothingness. No conversation. No trouble. No worries. I decided to have fun after a while and I splashed Janet with some mud and then pretended that nothing happened.

Janet: Who did that?

Suesie: Did what?

LaToya: Why do you have mud on your face?

Janet: Someone splashed me!

LaToya: I don't know.. Do you know Sue?

Suesie: Not a clue.

Janet calmed down after saying that she has her eyes on us. I splashed LaToya later on.

LaToya: Janet! I told you that I didn't do it!

Janet: What are you talking about? I didn't do anything!

LaToya: Sue, what did you do?

Suesie: What do mean?

LaToya: You know what I mean..

Suesie: Listen, I didn't do anything.

LaToya: Sure you didn't..

We all simmered down and then I splashed them both at the same time.

LaToya: Janet!

Janet: LaToya!

They screamed at the same time. I couldn't take it anymore. I started laughing like a hyena uncontrollably. They looked at me and then got the message.

LaToya: Very funny..

Suesie: The look on your face though!

I said between laughs.

Janet: That wasn't funny or nice..

Suesie: Okay, okay. I'm sorry.

I said then simmering down.. I soon felt a bunch of mud being thrown onto me repeatedly and I heard the sound of laughter. I wiped my face and looked at them.. Revenge is what they did. They stopped laughing when I looked at them and then the unexpected happened.. I started to laugh and then they started to laugh.

LaToya: We better get out of here before they find us and kick us out.

We nodded and went to the showers to wash off the mud. We laughed and joked about it the whole time. We even had a water fight. We put on a fresh set of the clothes we were wearing and went to the massage unit. None of us spoke to the other during that time and none of us ever wanted to leave. We had to eventually go though because we had so many other places to see. We got our nails done and our hair washed. To me, this was heaven. We went to the food place and ate until our hunger was gone. We headed towards the workout room and I went on the treadmill. LaToya went on the stepper and Janet went on the weights.. You know, where you pull down on this thing and it pulls the weights up.. If you still don't know, look it up. I was focused on the television when I heard my name begin called.

Janet: SUZANNE!

Suesie: What?

I said just before I slipped and almost fell. I jumped off but still fell down. Janet laughed at me and helped me up.

Janet: Are you okay?

Suesie: Yes, I'm fine.. Thank you.

Janet: LaToya wants you.

I looked at LaToya and saw her trying to contain her laughter. Why do I always get jacked up? Somebody please take my place and let me carry my child in peace! I walked over to her guarding my stomach with my hands. They looked at me with concern and I looked up with tears in my eyes.

LaToya: Sue, what's wrong?

Suesie: Both of you laughed me and I could've lost the baby..

I know it sounds stupid but that's just it. I'm a mother now and I can't afford to loose my baby.. My second baby.. Janet wiped away my tears and looked at me.

Janet: I'm sorry Sue. I was just caught off guard.

I nodded and smiled.

Suesie: I'm a mess.

I laughed. They nodded and we laughed. I didn't notice that it was going on eleven at night and that Michael beginning to get worried.

LaToya: We have one last stop before we can take mommy home.

I laughed.

Suesie: Oh yeah? And what's that?

LaToya: Get in the car and you'll find out.

Suesie: Okay.

I said getting in. We soon arrived at Dairy Queen and I looked like a child in a candy store. I got a strawberry and blueberry sundae for Michael & I. LaToya got a caramel sundae with nuts on it and Janet got a chocolate sundae. I couldn't thank them enough for what they did for me. I arrived home just before midnight and was confused why everything was dark. I turned on a light and jumped when I saw Michael sitting in a chair..

Michael: Good evening.

Suesie: Hello..

Michael: Did you have a good time?

Suesie: Actually.. I had a phenomenal time. I loved every second of it.

Michael: That's good..

Suesie: Yeah.. Why do you look like you want to kill me?

Michael smiled a tired smile.

Michael: Do you know what time it is?

Suesie: No.

Michael: It's eleven thirty seven.

Suesie: Really? I'm sorry Mike, I didn't know.

I said looking down. Wow.. 11:37..

Michael: You do realize that I'd never kill you, right?

That statement was very eerie and I didn't like it.

Suesie: I guess.. I hope not.

Michael chuckled but it wasn't one of his pleasant chuckles.. It was a dark one.

Michael: No baby. I'd never want to nor attempt to kill you.

Suesie: That's good to know.. Why did you say that?

Michael: Because of what you said.

Suesie: Oh.. Well, I brought you something.

I said setting the ice cream on the table.

Michael: Thank you baby.

Suesie: You're welcome.. You still look like you want to kill me.. Or someone else.

Michael laughed.

Michael: I know. I'm just really upset that's all.

Suesie: You wanna.. go to bed?

Michael shrugged..

Michael: Sure, why not?

Suesie: I'm going to take a bath first.. Okay?

Michael got up to head upstairs and nodded.

Michael: I'll run it for you.

Suesie: Thank you..

He's taking this so well.. I'm so beyond petrified that I don't trust him right now.. What's my strategy? Do as he says and don't disagree unless it's truly necessary. To be honest.. I'm scared to death of Michael at this point.
