(I'm currently sick because i didn't take my vitamin D and my Immune system sucks so... yeah I'm not the smartest...)

Zara's pov

i woke up still in a warm area. i felt myself bouncing a little bit. still in the car. the smallest portion of light was hitting my eyelids so i could tell that the sun was just beginning to rise. i opened my eyes. i looked around. we were in a town i which i could not recognize. "excuse me sir, where are we?" i asked politely. the man looked in the viewfinder at me confused. suddenly i remembered last night that he didn't speak English. "we're in Hasselt Belgium." Erik said startling me. i looked at him. "how do you know?" i asked curiously. "we just passed the sign." he said like it was obvious. "my bad." i said. i leaned back in my seat, keeping note that his arm was still wrapped around my waist. it was quiet for a few seconds. "can we stop and get something to eat?" i asked. as if on cue, my stomach growled. "Wir haben noch 3 Stunden, herr. (we still have another 3 hours, sir)" the driver said. "we can take a small break. we all need to eat anyways and take a break. plus you need gas don't you?" he asked. the man nodded. we pulled into a parking lot suddenly and Erik and I got out. "isn't he coming with?" i asked. "no, he's going to get gas and maybe a little snack from the gas station." Erik said. i nodded. i tried to take a step but i realized the pain that shot through my knee. i groaned in pain and suddenly Erik swooped me up. "what are you doing?" i asked. "you can't walk. i don't have another choice." he said. he carried me in with me blushing all the way. we got seated and we got our food. i ordered some fruit waffles with extra whip cream and he got Chicon Au Gratin (search it up! it looks amazing!) i ate my waffles rather quickly due to not eating for awhile. Erik ate normally despite the fact that he probably hadn't eaten for as long as i had. when we finished he paid and he carried me outside. our car wasn't there so we sat down against the building waiting. when we realized how long we had been waiting and the sun starting to get lower we realized something had happened. we found the nearest gas station and he carried me there. we didn't even see our car. we looked everywhere and asked others if they had seen a car but none knew of it. "betrayed!" Erik yelled slamming his hands on the wall of the gas station. "hey calm down. we don't have much longer till we get there right?" i asked. "driving wise, almost 4 hours." he said. his face was bright red and his fists were clenched so tight his knuckles were white. his breathing was quite heavy and i was sure he was about to pass out if he kept doing that. "hey maybe you should sit and take deep breaths." i said. he looked at me like i was insane. "do you know how close Kurt could be behind us!?" he yelled. a few people filling their cars looked at us. i stood up and grabbed his clenched hand. his hand relaxed after a few seconds. "it's okay. I've fought off people injured before i can do it again." i said and gave him a smile. he didn't return it but i could tell he was a lot calmer. "sorry." he said. i shook my head. "no need to apologize. it's my fault we're in this mess anyway." i said trying to lighten the mood. he nodded. 'thanks for raising my self-esteem buddy' i thought sarcastically. "there should be a taxi right?" i asked. he nodded. "if we can find the main road yeah." he said.  we tried walking but my knee started hurting so i stopped really fast. "you alright?" he asked. "yeah." i said. "my knee is just attempting to kill me." i said. he smirked slightly but hid it quickly. he went to pick me up. i put my hands up quickly stopping him. "no no no! i got it! I've done this before! you don't need to carry me again!" i yelled but he picked me up again. i growled in annoyance. "this is embarrassing." i murmured. "well, i don't want you hurt." he said with a monotone voice. 'something tells me he doesn't actually want to be here with me' I thought. "where are we gonna go? if our guy disappeared on us, we don't have another way back to Paris do we?" i asked looking at him. he looked at me. "unfortunately, you are correct." Erik said. "unless we can find another driver or at least a taxi, we have to walk there." I looked at the ground. "well, if there is a phone i nearby, i might be able to help with this situation." i said. Erik shook his head and then glared at me. his eyes suddenly hardened. "and possibly let Kurt know our location?! not a chance i would let you have a phone!" he yelled. my face fell slightly. "well i guess we're screwed then aren't we?" i said crossing my arms. he nodded and sighed. "guess we are." he murmured.

~time skip~

We had managed to get a taxi, the only problem was, was that he wouldn't take us out of the country. he would only take us as far as far as the town of Quevy. which was next to the border of Belguim and France. you could tell the taxi driver wasn't very happy that he was driving far. he kept glaring at us from the rear view mirror. I wanted to yell at him that he was still getting paid but I knew better, so I laid back in my seat and waited in the awkward silence. we got to Quevy and we paid him quite a few Euros. unfortunately, I didn't hear the amount paid. Erik carried me to Frace. seriously, he carried me across the border into France. we got a few weird looks from people. he had to explain- and lie- that my knee was broken. they understood and let us through. we ended up at a town called Villers-Sire-Nicole. we got yet another taxi and started driving. "how long till we get to Paris?" Erik asked impatiently. the driver looked at us. he seemed irritated. I knew exactly why. Parisians weren't really known for being the kindest. (if you are from Paris and think otherwise s'il vous plait comment!) "about 3 hours." he said. Erik didn't say anything. he put his hands on his head and he started breathing heavily. he wasn't going to last this trip if we didn't do something. "hey, drop us off in Saint-Denis instead. we have something we have to do there." I said. Erik looked at me shocked and angry. "what are you doing?" he whispered leaning over to me. "you aren't going to last this trip if we don't stop." I whispered back. "if you say so lady." he said. we kept going for 3 hours and Erik just about had it. finally, the taxi driver gets into a town where he pulls over. Erik jumped out of the car and paid the driver. I managed to get out of the car and limp over to Erik. he looked at me apologetically. the taxi driver drove away. "thank you." he said. I burst out laughing scaring Erik slightly. "you-you're trying to save ME, and you thank ME for saving YOU?!" I laughed. he shook his head smiling lightly. "we have to go. where do you live?" he asked. "I live in an abandoned warehouse with my..." I started but once Laurent popped into my head I remembered the kiss we shared. what were we? friends? was he my boyfriend? "you gonna finish your sentence?" he asked. "with Laurent. I live in a warehouse with Laurent." I said. "oh, and who is this Laurent? he asked. I thought again. what was he? "we both like each other. we've kissed a few times but nothing too serious. the first time we kissed I got kidnapped by his dad which happens to be Kurt." I said. Erik looked almost a little hurt by this but he masked it quickly with a nod. "so, how long till we get to Paris?" I asked. "about 2 hours, walking that is." he said. I sighed. maybe I would end up going insane before we got there.

Laurent's pov

I was Pacing. my head was swarming. I tried calling my dad multiple times but no one answered. I grabbed the nearest kunai knife and threw it. wherever he was, i was going to find him, and bring him down.
