Ami's POV

One week later

I walk through the gates of the Hidden Leaf with Kiba next to me.

"Your back." Izumo comments.

"Yeah and I'm in a good mood, don't spoil it." I say with grin and the two nod.

Me and Kiba walk to Kakashi's office and I just walk in, not really caring to knock.

"AMI!"

I dodge to the right and Naruto hugs Kiba instead of me and I snicker. "Hi Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, Sai." I greet.

"Why don't you ever knock?" Kakashi asks me.

I smile at him. "Because, this is payback for the year and a half you spent, breaking and entering into my apartment." I say to him and Kakashi sighs.

"Well its good to see you Ami." Sai says politely and I sweat drop.

"Anyways, we're back." Kiba says once he pries Naruto off him. "We're going home, this past week has been" Kiba looks at me.

"Sappy, especially since there were other newly weds there and the first night was off at the beginning." I say with a sweat drop while Kiba nods in agreement.

"How so?" Sakura asks.

"Uhh, I'd rather not talk about it." I say. "See ya." I say and walk out with Kiba and we walk down the road.

"Maybe you should go to the hospital, your a little pale." Kiba says to me with worry.

I look at him. "You do realize, you most likely got me pregnant, right?" I ask him.

Kiba looks at me nervously, but we head home.

"I smell Kiba!"

I look over to see Tsume there and she looks at me.

"You smell a lot like Kiba now, I wonder." Tsume says and smirks while as I blush slightly at what she means.

"We did." Kiba smirks proudly. "She's now mine and forever will be mine." Kiba says as he puts his arm around my shoulders.

"I see." Tsume says with a smirk. "Well, you should also know that she is pregnant now, thanks to you Kiba, her scent changed to two people, one's her and the other is a mix between you and her." Tsume says to him.

Coco runs at me and jumps in my arms. "Your back!" She barks.

I laugh. "Yes, I am back." I say and Kiba and Tsume look at me shocked. "Have you been a good girl for Hana?" I ask her.

"Wait, you can fully understand her now?" Tsume says shocked.

I raise an eyebrow. "Well, yes, now I can, mainly because of the pregnancy, since it's Kiba's child and its an Inuzuka, it gives me a temporary 9 month time to understand dogs fully." I say as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"How do you know that?" Kiba says shocked and I look at him confused.

"I'm smart." I say to him.

"No, your a genius. You figured that out without hardly any thought." Kiba says shocked.

I just shrug. "If you say so."

"Well, Dinner will be ready in a few hours." Tsume says to us with a smirk and we nod. "Also, Ami, you can call me Mom." Tsume says and walks into her house while my jaw gapes open slightly and I stand there, shocked and Kiba laughs at me.

"Come on, lets go inside." Kiba says and I snap back to my calm self again and we walk inside.

"That name, it's foreign." I say as I sit on the couch with Coco on my lap.

"What, Mom?" Kiba asks me and I nod. "Didn't you have a mother like figure growing up?" Kiba asks me.

"Nope." I say and Kiba looks at me shocked and I smile at him. "Two men raised me and I had two older brother like figures and one older sister like figure." Akamaru lays down in front of me and growls at Kiba as he tries touching me and I snicker as Kiba looks at him shocked. "He doesn't want you getting near me because of my pregnancy." I say to him. "Good boy Akamaru." I say petting him.

"Akamaru, stand down, Ami will be fine." Coco barks at him.

"But, but, but." Akamaru barks in protest.

"I'll be fine Akamaru, Kiba can't do anything at the moment anyways." I say to Akamaru and he whimpers and lays on my lap with Coco and Kiba chuckles then sits next to me and puts his arm around my shoulder and I smile as I lean my head on his shoulder.

9 Months Later

"Ah, shit!" I yell in pain as I sit in a hospital bed, going through labor and Kiba looks at me worried.

"Ami, calm down. Take a few deep breaths." A nurse says to me.

I take a few deep breaths and by that afternoon I'm hold a girl in my arms.

"So, much, pain." I breath and Kiba kisses my forehead.

"Thank you Ami." Kiba says to me and I smile and we look at the girl in my arms. "She has your blonde hair and my fang marks." Kiba says to me with a smile.

I nod. "Just like we wanted." I say and we look at her as her eyes open to reveal my lilac eyes. "How about Lily?"

"Lily Inuzuka. I like it." Kiba says to me and he touches her cheek and she giggles at that.

"Your a father now Kiba, how does that feel?" I ask him and he smiles at that.

"I like that." Kiba says to me. "And your a mother now, how does that feel?" Kiba asks me.

"Great." I say and Haru, Lilac and Jake walk in to look at me.

"Sensei!" Lilac says shocked and she looks at the baby in my arms. "What's her name?"

"Lily, Lily Inuzuka." I say and the three look at her. "Man I'm glad your Chunin, I might not be able to spend as much time as I normally would with you guys." I say and Kiba nods.

"Yeah, Ami here is gonna be a stay at home Mom now, after she tells Kakashi that she's retiring from her Shinobi position." Kiba tells them what we decided last week.

"But, but, but, but, your the best Jonin of the Hidden Leaf." Lilac says shocked and I smile at her.

"Yeah, but my family comes first now, especially now since I have Lily to take care of and Kiba is gonna be the one doing missions between the two of us." I say to her and Lilac frowns but nods.

"I can see why your retiring, I would too if I were in your position." Haru says to me in a calm tone.

"Yeah, I see why as well." Jake says and I smile at the three.

"You guys can come over any time to play with Lily or talk to me about anything, you can even ask for advice." I say and Kiba nods. "You just might be intimidated by my Mother in Law though." I say and the nurse chases everyone but Kiba out of my hospital room and she puts Lily in a crib near my bed.

"Ok, time for Mrs. Inuzuka to get some rest." The nurse says to me and I sweat drop.

"You can just call me Ami." I say and the nurse nods.

"Well its still time for you to get some rest." The nurse says to me and Kiba gets up. "Mr. Inuzuka, you have the choice to stay here for the night or go home."

I look at Kiba. "You can go home, I don't mind." I say to Kiba and he looks at me.

"I'm staying here, there's no point in leaving you here when you won't get a decent sleep." Kiba says to me and I sweat drop nervously.

"Alright, just be careful with Mrs. Ami, she's stable, but she has to be handled like a piece of glass, after all the pain she went through today." The nurse says to him and Kiba nods.

The nurse leaves and Kiba lays down next to me and carefully puts his arms around me and we fall asleep.

I get released from the hospital a week later with Lily and thankfully we get to leave the plain, boring white walls that surrounded us for 7 days.

"Man hospitals are boring." I say and Lily nods, understanding me and my eyes widen slightly. "Holy shit, did you just understand what I just said?" I ask her and Lily nods again. "Yay, my daughter is as smart as me!" I exclaim with a grin.

"Noooooo!" Ino and Sakura cry. "We don't need another Ami!"

I laugh and head to the Hokage office and I walk in. "Kakashi." I say and he looks at me. "I'm retiring from my shinobi duties to take care of Lily." I say and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"I didn't think you were the type to be a stay at home mom." Kakashi says to me and I look at him with a calm gaze.

"Family comes first in my opinion, if I have to step down from being top Jonin to take care of Lily, I will and that's what I'm doing." I say to him with a softer type of smile. "Besides, Uncle, Darui, C, Uncle B, Samui, Omoi and Karui should be here in a couple days to see Lily." I say and Kakashi nods.

"Well, I hope that if need be one day, you'll come out of retirement and help the village." Kakashi says to me and I nod.

"I'll always help the village if it is in trouble. It is my home." I say to Kakashi and I walk out. "You have my word." I say loud enough for Kakashi to hear and I walk home with Lily in my arms.

"AMI!" Coco barks and jumps on me and licks my face.

"Now I don't understand this dilemma, I can still understand you Coco." I say and she tilts her head confused.

"How? I thought with only Lily in you, you'd be able to understand me." Coco barks as we walk into the house.

"I don't know, I just don't know." I say and I walk to Lily's room and I set her in her crib since she's asleep.

I sit in the living room with Coco as I think.

"I don't get it!" I exclaim while sulking. "I just don't get it, how can I still understand you when I'm not a blood Inuzuka?" I ask Coco.

"I don't know, I don't understand either." Coco barks and I sit on the couch with her sprawled out across my lap as we think, very deeply.

Someone knocks on the door and I get up and walk over to the door and I open it.

"Ami? Where's Kiba?" Shikamaru asks.

"Mission, why?" I ask.

"Damn, look, I know you just retired today, but can you come now?" Shikamaru asks.

"For what?" I ask skeptically.

"We need someone to check the borders of the Hidden Leaf, someone's been messing with the guards while they're on duty and we needed Kiba since he's fast, but, your faster, so can you help us out?" Shikamaru asks and I think for a second.

"How serious are they messing with the guards?" I ask.

"Does that matter? If they continue, its gonna get worse, it's best to stop the problem while its forming." Shikamaru says to me and I raise an eyebrow.

"Look Shikamaru, your smart, you know Kiba was still gone on his mission, you were the one who assigns his missions to him and Shino, you know other ninja are capable of taking care of this, so why ask me? You know I retired today to take care of Lily, Kakashi told you after I left the Hokage building and I know he did. Lily is asleep right now and she's smart, exceeding me and you in the future, she'll know if I'm gone, so what is the real reason as to why you want me?" I ask him with a calm gaze and tone.

Shikamaru sighs. "Fine, Lord Raikage is here." Shikamaru says to me.

"That's all you had to say, let me get Lily and Coco, I'll be at the gates in a couple minutes." I say and Shikamaru nods.

I walk to Lily's room and I pick her up carefully and Coco follows me to the gates where I see Uncle, Uncle B, Darui, C, Samui, Karui and Omoi.

"No way, she actually did have a child." Omoi says shocked.

Lily wakes up and looks at them curious while I look at them calmly with a raised eyebrow.

"Hello to you too Omoi." I say and he laughs nervously.

Uncle walks forward and looks at Lily. "A girl?" Uncle asks.

"Yes, a girl, she has a name and its Lily." I say to Uncle and Lily looks at him curiously and reaches out her hands.

"She's smart, she's not scared of me and come to think of it, neither were you Ami." Uncle says slightly shocked.

I nod and hand her to him. "She's gonna exceed me one day in strength, smarts and beauty, and most likely my temper, now that she has Inuzuka in her and Uzumaki." I say and everyone sweat drops.

"Damn." We all say as we look at Lily.

"Well, she'll be a mini Ami, that's for sure." C says and C and Omoi start worrying while I sweat drop. "What if while no one is able to watch Lily and she gets angry and blows up the house." C says and my Byakugan activates and I make the two fall over on their backs him with a Gentle Fist hit.

"Shut up, there's a reason why I retired from my Shinobi Duties, I'm gonna be taking care of her full time." I say to the two, slightly annoyed at them.

"Wait, what? You retired from your Jonin position?" Darui asks shocked.

"Yes." I reply and I sense shock from everyone while I just roll my eyes at them. "Is that really hard to believe?" I ask as Uncle hands Lily back to me.

"Yes, you worked hard for top position of Jonin in both the Cloud and Leaf Village." Karui says to me.

"Well I think its cool that you'll be a stay at home mom." Samui says with a smirk.

"Thank you." I say to her and Lily giggles.

"This kid is smart, she knows when to laugh at Ami's sarcasm." Karui says to us and I nod.

"She's smarter than me when I was that age, I believe she's got a photographic memory that helps her understand what's going on." I say to them. "She's gonna be too smart for me and bring up past stuff that I won't remember." I say to them with a nervous sweat drop.

"Which also means she's gonna remember every single time you cuss in front of her or if she can hear you from another room." Darui says while Uncle B just raps and I cover Lily's ears so she can't hear him.

"Yes, she will and I probably should care, but, she'll do it herself eventually and since both me and Kiba cuss on the daily, especially since I trip and fall on random rocks and I run into stuff when I'm not paying attention to where I'm going and Kiba, he's a different story." I say with a nervous sweat drop.
