Ami's POV

The Next Morning.

"WAKE UP!"

I don't stir from all the yelling, I just stay where I'm at.

"KIBA! WAKE UP!"

"Ma, be quiet, Ami's still sleeping." Kiba mutters next to me.

"You have a mission Kiba, you'll have to wake her up."

I open one eye, clearly irritated, annoyance coming off me in waves. "Mrs. Tsume, shut your trap, there's no reason to be yelling at the crack of dawn." I say to her and Kiba chuckles and pulls me closer to him.

"Well you have to walk the dogs with Hana this morning, Ami." Tsume says to me and my eye twitches.

"Say what?" I ask.

"Yes, now you two better get your asses up, right now, or I'll drag you out of that bed by your ears." Tsume orders us with a smirk.

"No." I say to her in a defiant tone and Kiba freezes at the dark aura I'm giving off. "I don't wake up at the crack of dawn because of yelling, the whole reason I'm not yelling back is because Guy and Lee live in the same apartment building and they get up at 4:30 in the morning, yelling something about youth. So I will not be getting out of this bed and walk in crisp morning air, at the crack of dawn." I say to Tsume and Akamaru whines, clearly terrified of the aura me and Tsume are giving off. "Fine, I don't want to scare Akamaru, sorry buddy." I say as I revert back to my calm self and I scratch behind his ear after I get up.

Kiba sighs in relief. "Thank Kami, I thought the house was gonna explode." Kiba says and me and Tsume shoot him a glare, making him shut up. Kiba gets up and gets ready for his mission while Hana shows me which dogs to help walk. "See you later babe." Kiba says as he walks past, giving me a kiss on the forehead and leaving.

My face turns red at the name and Hana laughs, but not a minute after I go back to being calm.

Hana and I walk the dogs and she shows me how much to feed them and finally we get breakfast, but by then, I'm tired.

"I don't do this stuff first thing in the morning." I say and Hana laughs.

"You should probably go get ready, your still in your pajama's and it's fall, bare legs first thing in the morning could get you sick." Hana says to me.

"I'm glad someone in this family is sane." I say and Hana laughs and pets my head.

"Your hair is soft, almost like a rabbits." She says amazed.

"See ya, I've got to go to a meeting in a couple hours and it's gonna take me a while to get ready, mainly 'cause I might go back to sleep." I say and Hana nods.

I walk back to my apartment and I shower and change into a dark blue long sleeve shirt and black leggings with a light coat on over. I brush my hair out and I brush my teeth. I braid my hair into a side braid and once I'm done, it's almost time for me to go. I walk to the Meeting Room in the Hokage building and I sit down, slightly shocked to see Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, Lady Mizukage, Chojuro, Ao, Lord Tsuchikage, Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi, Uncle, Uncle B, Darui and C.

"Ami?" Most of them ask shocked.

"Question, Kakashi, why did you decide it was a good idea to make me come to a meeting this early? Seriously, I normally sleep till noon." I say and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"You normally do, but you got up at the crack of dawn, everyone heard you and Mrs. Tsume fighting." Kakashi says to me.

"Still." I say as I keep my calm tone and face.

"You need to be here, your now the top Jonin of the Hidden Leaf." Shizune says and hits me on the head.

"Itai." I say as I rub the bump on my head. "I also spent 2 months in the Hidden Silence and I was up late." I say to her.

"Hidden Silence? I've never heard of that Village before." Lady Mizukage asks confused.

"That's because Ami here, or should I say Lady Ami, helped the Hidden Silence become a Shinobi Village, rouges went there to repent, have families and have something to protect. She got everyone to cooperate with each other and from what Kiba said, none of them complained." Shizune says to me and an embarrassed blush creeps up onto my face from all the attention.

"Wow, even the mighty Ami with the ever so calm face and personality, can get flustered." Gaara says with a smirk.

"Your saying that as payback, aren't you?" I ask him, clearly unamused and Gaara nods.

"Payback?" Kankuro asks.

"Remember how I moved here two years ago and how I refused to ask for help on a tour around the village? Gaara offered and I said no, something happened, he got a bit flustered and I said something along the lines of 'Did I fluster the ever so calm, cool looking Kazekage who hates to be called a red panda even though he resembles one?'. He got his payback." I say and Kankuro snickers while everyone looks at Gaara, thankfully redirecting the attention to him.

"Yeah, I guess he does look like a red panda." Lady Mizukage says to us and Kurotsuchi looks like she wants to squeeze the life out of him but I hold her back by the arm.

"Women are so troublesome." Shikamaru says, directing that at me.

"Men are such a pain." I reply.

"Touché." Shikamaru says with a smirk.

We get on with the meeting and after it finishes, I walk back to the Inuzuka Compound and I walk into the vet area.

"Oh, Ami, your here." Hana says with a smile.

I nod. "I'm bored, Kiba's on a mission and I'd rather not get into a yelling competition with Mrs. Tsume, since everyone in town could hear us this morning." I say and Hana gives me a smile.

"Well, you could help me sort this stuff out, you look like you have organization skills." Hana says to me and I see a bin filled with vet tools that aren't sorted and my eye twitches.

"The disorganization." I say and she hands me a pair of clear latex gloves and I get to work on sorting this stuff out and once I'm finished Hana tells me to wash them, so I do and then she gets the right bins out for the tools and I put them in the right bins.

After a few hours of me helping Hana, a girl walks in with a frantic look and a hurt puppy in her arms.

"Help!" She cries and I run over and pick the Puppy up out of her arms carefully and I take her to Hana.

"Ami, do you have medical Nin-Jutsu?" Hana asks me and I nod. "Stop the bleeding." Hana says to me.

I nod and hold my hands over the puppy and they glow green, I manage to stop the bleeding and Hana works as I keep it that way.

"Ami, go comfort that girl, the puppy will be alright now, I have to do a check up on it right now." Hana says to me and I nod.

I walk out of the room to see the girl bawling her eyes out on a chair and I bend down in front of her. "Everything's ok now, the puppy is just fine, Hana's doing a check up right now." I say and the girl hugs me.

"Thank you, Chica got beat up by some other kids, they called her ugly." The girl says to me through sniffles.

I rub her back as I hug her. "Chica will be ok, she might have to stay here a few days though." I say to the girl.

"I just want Chica to be alright." The girl says to me.

I feel sadness and guilt coming off her in waves. "It wasn't your fault." I say and the girl looks at me shocked. "I can sense emotions, even if they aren't shown, it's a born talent, I'm half blind, just yesterday I ran into a telephone pole and I tripped over a rock and rolled into a building." I say her with a smile and the girl giggles.

"Your pretty klutzy." She says to me.

I rub the back of my neck with a nervous sweat drop. "You think so?" I ask her as she sits in her seat, in a better mood.

Kiba walks in and see's the girl braiding my hair while giggling at how it won't listen.

"I told you, my hair doesn't listen to anyone." I say to her.

"Hey Ami." Kiba greets with a smirk as he bends down.

"Hey Kiba." I say and the girl manages to get my hair under control as she braids it and when she's finished, she gets to work on Kiba's hair and I snicker at his confused face.

"Woah, Kiba." Hana says trying to keep herself from laughing as she walks out to see the girl French braiding his hair.

"What, I look fabulous." Kiba say with a canine smirk.

I laugh at that as I sit on Kiba's lap. "Out of the two of us, I have the better looks Kiba." I say and Kiba snickers.

"Nope, I'm handsome, girls fall for me everyday." Kiba says to me.

"DONE!" The exclaims after she finishes with Kiba's hair.

"Wow, you should be a hair stylist, you make even the most ugly guy look handsome." I say to her and Kiba nods then understands the insult I directed at him.

I get up and I walk over to Hana and I raise an eyebrow.

"The Puppy is fine, she'll need to stay here for a couple days." Hana says to us and the girl grins and hugs me.

"See, I told you the puppy was ok." I say to her with a grin.

"Thank you, I'll come back every day to visit Chica." The girl says to us and we nod as she runs out of the building.

"Oh, damn, what did I get myself into." I say and Hana laughs.

"You could easily become a vet here Ami, you've got the detailed attention for it." Hana says to me with a smile.

"Cool, if Hana trains you, you'll be here more often." Kiba says with a grin. "Maybe you'll even learn how to understand dogs like us."

"Now, now Kiba, don't jump to conclusions, this is her decision." Hana says to him.

I sit on a chair, thinking about this, deeply thinking about this, but it doesn't help that I keep getting distracted by Kiba.

'I think you should do it. I mean there is a lot to gain, you could finally settle down here with Kiba and you could get to know his family.'

I look at Hana. "If you train me Hana, I will do it." I say and Hana nods with a smile.

"I'm free right now, I could show you the basics." Hana says to me and I nod.

"YES!" Kiba yells with a grin.

Hana teaches me what to do and I memorize what she's saying, unnoticeably to myself though.

"Can you repeat to me everything I told you?" Hana asks me.

I repeat her word for word and Hana smiles.

"Great, you learn quickly." Hana says to me.

"My girlfriend is a prodigy." Kiba says as he watches me.

"No, I'm just smart." I say to him.

That night.

So, I was basically told to bring over my pajama's and a change of clothes for the next day and anything I needed, so I did and it's all in one bag in Kiba's room.

"Time for dinner." Tsume calls.

Me and Kiba walk in and Tsume looks at me.

"You look tired." Tsume says to me.

"I wonder why, because I totally didn't get up at the crack of dawn today and spent two hours in a meeting room." I say sarcastically and she laughs.

"Get used to it." She says to me and Hana walks in and the four of us eat. "So, Ami, I heard Hana is training you to be a vet and you've gotten considerably good within the day that she's trained you." Tsume says to me.

"It wasn't hard for me to understand, Hana explained everything that went with each subject." I say and Hana smiles at me.

"I tried, I'm not as good a vet as people make me out to be." Hana says to me.

"Your the head Inuzuka Vet, your the best." Kiba says with a grin.

After dinner me and Kiba head to bed since we're both exhausted.

The next morning goes the same, we wake up at the crack of dawn, me and Tsume have a fight, Kiba goes on a mission, I walk the dogs and feed them while Hana opens the clinic and I get ready for the day, Hana trains me all day, especially during appointments, she shows me exactly what to do and explains. This goes on for a couple weeks.
