Umi's POV

I blink, once, twice, three times until I realize it's Kiba I'm laying next to and my face turns bright red.

"Your cute when you blush." Kiba chuckles at me. "Did you sleep well last night?" Kiba asks me.

"Yeah." I mumble and I get up.

"Good, well do you want me to make breakfast?" Kiba asks with a smirk and Akamaru whines in hunger.

"Akamaru, who do you want to cook?" I ask him and Akamaru licks my hand and I smirk at Kiba as he sulks. "Alright, give me a couple minutes and breakfast will be ready." I say and I walk to the kitchen as I fix my coat on my shoulders. I start making breakfast and the smell attracts Kiba, who places his arms around my waist and puts his chin on my left shoulder.

"What are you making?" Kiba asks me.

"Bacon, eggs with ham, gravy with biscuits, and then I know you never leave your house with out food for Akamaru, so, that's what's for breakfast. There's also, orange juice, milk and water." I say and Kiba's stomach growls as his mouth waters and after a minute someone knocks on the door.

"I'll get it." Kiba says with a grin and he opens the door.

"KIBA! WHY ARE YOU IN MY SISTER'S APARTMENT!"

I know who that is.

'Naruto.'

Yep, and I haven't even gotten ready yet.

"I helped her babysit Mirai yesterday and I walked her home and fell asleep here." Kiba says to him.

"AMI!" Naruto yells as he brushes past Kiba.

"No, closer, I'm cooking." I say while holding him back by the head so he can't get past it.

"But, but, a boy is in your house who isn't even related to you or raised you, you need protecting!" Naruto says while sulking and Akamaru barks at him. "YOU DON'T COUNT!" Naruto yells as he sulks.

I roll my eyes and finish cooking. "Naruto, I can handle myself, how do you think I survived 17 years in the Hidden Cloud Village?" I ask him and Naruto stops and laughs sheepishly.

"Yeah, I forgot about that." Naruto says while rubbing the back of his neck.

I sigh and put the food out. "Since your here, do you want any of the breakfast I made, or?" I ask and Naruto looks at it.

"No, I already had Ramen for breakfast, the reason I'm here is because Kakashi-Sensei and Sai want you." Naruto says to me.

I roll my eyes. "They can wait till I eat breakfast and get ready." I say and Kiba sits down after I set the table and I set the food down. "You know, Ramen isn't the best thing to eat for breakfast, I should know, I had terrible cooks, cooking for me in the morning till I learned how to make my own food. Ramen is good for dinner or lunch, but not for breakfast." I say to Naruto.

"Yeah, I know, but Ramen is awesome!" Naruto exclaims as he does a stupid pose.

I roll my eyes while Kiba laughs at Naruto and I start eating, once I finish I walk to my room and I grab my normal outfit and I change in my bathroom. I brush out my hair and I put it in a high, pony tail while leaving my bangs and a few strands out of it, I look at myself in the mirror, not seeing bags under my eyes.

No fucking way, I got a good sleep?

'Seems so.'

How?

'Ok, I'm gonna say this again, your dense, you got a good sleep because someone was watching over you and not trying to surprise attack you at every moment to keep you on guard.'

Kiba? But, he only intruded and I was too tired to tell him to leave.

'Yet you were blushing.'

"Hey, Ami, you ok in there?" Kiba asks me.

"Uh, yeah, just fine, I just got a little distracted, that's all." I say and I finish getting ready. I walk out and past Naruto and Kiba. "Where's Sai and Kakashi?" I ask Naruto.

"In Kakashi-Sensei's office, also, why don't you like Sensei?" Naruto asks me.

"Many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, reasons why." I say and I walk out and to the Hokage office and I walk in, slightly annoyed. "Ok, you two, why the fuck are you making me leave my apartment on a Monday morning?" I ask them as I cross my arms.

"Your coming on a mission with me." Sai says with a closed eyed smile.

I look at them unamused. "Say, what now?" I ask and Sai walks closer but I stand my ground, clearly unamused.

"We don't get the chance to go on missions together, I don't know your power, just think, we'll be even better friends." Sai says with a smile and I roll my eyes.

"Ok, dude, stop, I'll be at the gates, get the rest of the team, then inform me on what we're supposed to do." I say and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"Right." Sai says and walks past me and once the door closes, I have Kakashi in a headlock and he has a kunai pointed to my throat.

"You jerk, it's a Monday and your assigning me a mission in the morning?" I ask as my eye twitches.

Someone opens the door while me and Kakashi bicker back and forth, still in our position.

"Troublesome woman." Shikamaru says as he tries dragging me off of Kakashi, but I stay my ground.

"Get off me, you have a mission remember?" Kakashi mutters as his face starts turning blue.

I grumble and I knock Shikamaru off me and I jump out the window. "Sorry Shikamaru." I say and I run to the gates, within a minute and I wait, and wait, and wait, then I start getting irritated.

"Someone's not happy today." Izumo comments and a kunai flies past his cheek.

"Shut, your, trap." I say and Izumo and Kotesu pail and shut up.

After a couple more minutes, Sai and a couple ANBU get here and a dark aura surrounds me.

"You make me wait, on a Monday morning, for a mission, when I could be relaxing in my apartment, still in my pajama's, watching my morning show, in my own company, not bothered by anyone, in the peace and quiet of my living room, this better be worth my time or I'm gonna be pissed." I say as my eye twitches and I look like a psychopath. 

Sai and the ANBU step back in fear. "Gomenasai." They say with a nervous sweat drop.

"The mission is to gather intel on the Land of Silence, supposedly rouges and ninja from other villages including our own, has gone missing after the war and are supposed to be there." Sai says to me and I grumble.

"That place again?" I mutter and I stalk out of the gates with my arms crossed and my pony tail swishing from side to side. "Are you coming? Or am I going there alone?" I ask annoyed.

"Right." Sai says and follows me with the ANBU behind him.

We get to a place outside the village of Silence and I watch it with analytic eyes.

"Fooled them once, I can fool them twice, if not, I run over the wall." I say to myself and Sai looks at me confused but I just wave him off. "It might not work, my chakra's way to developed, they'd know in an instant that it's a disguise, now that they've gotten more shinobi with better skills, that kid especially." I mutter and I glance at the wall to see the tops unguarded, maybe, they might be crouching.

Cece, can you tell if anyone's up there?

'No one is up there, I can't sense chakra, so the best plan is for you to go over the wall. But just you.'

Right, my exceptional skills will help in this case.

A memory of me and Uncle fighting appears in my mind.

"Shit." I mutter and I keep my hand away from my head, but Sai glances at me.

"What's wrong?" Sai asks in a low tone.

"Sai, I'm going over the wall, if I don't come back within the next two hours, don't come in, you hear me?" I ask and Sai stares at me.

"I'm coming with you." Sai says to me.

I sigh and just nod, seeing as he's made up his mind. "The rest of you, don't come after us if we don't come back within 2 hours. Get help, the reason your ANBU is because of one skill or Kekkie Genkai that you have, you won't stand a chance against these guys, the reason I'm allowing Sai is because well, he's made up his mind, I can't stop him now, plus, I can always protect the both of us." I say and the ANBU nod and take position in the tree's.

I run towards the wall with Sai behind me and I grab him and I jump over the wall and onto a rooftop.

"Don't we need a plan?" Sai asks me quietly as we crouch on the roof.

"You can use one, but that's not how I win, I trust my instincts, it's always kept me out of harms way, for the most part." I say and a memory of me leaving the Hidden Cloud flashes through my mind and I can see something flash through Sai's eyes, like a memory.

I pull out a small camera and I run across the rooftops, then I get surrounded, while as I smirk.

"I've been caught again." I say and one of them recognizes me.

"Lady Ami." He says and kneels in front of me. "What are you doing here?" He asks.

"Uh, well, thanks for the way out, I'm busy, don't worry 'bout me." I say and jump over him and I continue running while he smirks in his kneeling position, I can tell he wasn't taken over, he's one of the ANBU in disguise.

I smirk to myself as he holds back the others from coming after me.

"Wow." Sai says on one of his drawings, next to me in the air and I smirk.

"Keep going." I say and he nods, I get to the castle, but I get stopped by who I assume to be is the leader and I jump back a pace, taking a picture, then tossing the camera to Sai and he nods and takes off back towards the wall.

"Your back Lady Ami Namikaze of the Hidden Cloud Village." Gengo says to me and his men surround me.

"Correction, Ami Uzumaki-Namikaze of the Hidden Leaf Village." I correct and Gengo nods in acknowledgement.

"We have a lot to discuss together." Gengo says to me with a smile and I nod.

I see Sai coming back and I throw a piece of paper at him, unnoticeable to the shinobi around me, Sai see's it and gets away, knowing that he won't win.

I follow Gengo inside after cuffs get put on me and we walk to a room.

"So, Ami of the Hidden Leaf, you've changed your title." Gengo says with calm, soothing tone. "But do you think they accept you?" Gengo asks me.

I stare at him, unmoving, not flinching, no emotion in my gaze.

"What's it to you?" I ask him.

"Do you think, they actually care about you? They don't accept you or care about you, all your life, you've been a weapon and you still are, the new Hokage is just merely using you, he's scared of you being in the Hidden Cloud still, because he's afraid they will attack the Hidden Leaf, with you as their main weapon. That brother of yours, he doesn't care, he's just following orders by being nice to you, his friends are just being nice to you, because they are also under orders. The Hidden Cloud only took you in because you were a Jinchuriki, a powerful weapon, they never wanted you, but here, we accept your skills, your flaws, your lifestyle, your beautiful unique blonde hair that people hate, we accept you for being you." Gengo says in a soothing tone.

"Acceptance, people are afraid and don't accept things that are different, I've been an outcast my entire life, but, my brother, he saved me from the pit of darkness, lit my path up, caught me when I was falling, tore me away from Madara's grasp, but, I still don't belong." I say as I stare ahead blankly. "I have fun in the Leaf, but people never change what they think, if your different, they don't like you, they outcast you, I lived with that my entire life, what's another 70 years?" I ask Gengo as I look him in the eye.

"Your dying inside, you want to be here, this is where you belong, people will accept you, all you have to do, is join me." Gengo says soothingly as he walks towards me.

"I will be accepted here? As if, if I'm not accepted by the Leaf, or the Cloud, or the Sand who's Kazekage is basically a red headed male version of me, then I won't be accepted by you." I say and I get knocked out.
