Chapter 3

Angelica told Logan all about his childhood. How she caught him getting his first kiss behind the same barn he was born in. How her and his older brother Victor taught him how to hunt. How she taught Logan to dance before he went out with a girl he liked before everything went to hell. She told him how they got split up. How she left him in hopes of keeping him safe, but ended up with him being brainwashed.

Once they got back to the mansion, Angelica had told him his whole life story. "So, Jimmy, how do you feel?"

"Like you know way to much about me."

"I changed your diapers, runt, I definitely know way too much about you," Angelica smirked. Logan turned red and she let go of his arm. "I'm going to go show myself around. I think Charles would like to talk to me anyways."

Logan nodded. "Don't get me in trouble."

"Runt, I'm probably going to get you out of trouble," Angelica said as she walked off.

"Aww," Jean teased, poking Logan in the back as she walked up behind him. "You two are so alike."

"Jean, stop pokin' me," Logan said.

Jean cleared her throat awkwardly and stopped. "Sorry."

Logan leaned on the couch as he watched Jean swing her arms. "What do you want?" He asked, looking down at her.

"Nothing!"

"Jean, you only give me that look when you want something," Logan said.

"Can you come help me lead a fighting class?" She asked. Logan groaned a little. "Please? Scott's busy and I really need help! I'm not good at kicking ass!"

Logan looked down at her and sighed. "Alright, alright. Fine," he said.

"Yes! Thank you so much," Jean kissed his cheek before running off. Logan followed after her, swearing up and down that he didn't blush in the slightest when she kissed his cheek.

Logan pulled his shoes off, since being kicked without shoes feels a lot better than being kicked with shoes, and walked to the front of the class. It was a small group of 15 year olds. Great.

"First off, kiddos, no powers," Logan said. All the kids groaned. "You heard me. No one wants to get sliced to ribbons-" his long claws popped out of his hand. "Or have their brains scrambled by Ms. Know It All over here. If any of ya use your powers, you're out."

"And he doesn't mean just out of having to train. You'll get to go train with our not so fun trainors," Jean said.

"Trust me, you don't want that," Logan promised. Once they got the class good and scared, they started to show them what a fight should look like. Both went easy on the other so that they didn't get too competitive, but you know how Logan gets during fights.

Soon enough, they were going hard on one another and it didn't take a genius to know who would win. Logan got Jean on her stomach and pulled her arm back. "First lesson, when you get your opponent down, the first thing you usually do is kill 'em. Since we're all friends here, we're gonna make you pull their arm back like this until-"

"Ow! I tapped, you clawed idiot!" Jean yelled, hitting the ground. Logan chuckled and got off her.

Logan and Jean took turns showing them moves until Scott came out. "Logan? What're you doing?"

"Taking over the position you didn't have the balls to do," Logan said, looking at Scott.

"Well, I'm here now, so you can go," Scott said, getting all up in Logan's face.

Logan didn't back down. "You know, I'd love to, but I finish what I start."

"Fight!" Someone from the class yelled.

"No, do not fight!" Angelica ordered. She had come out to see Logan training other students and was talking with Storm when the argument started. "James."

Logan didn't listen. "Come on, laser boy. No powers. Let's fight."

"No, we're not fighting! Angelica, please," Jean said, getting between them. Angelica walked over and put her hands on their chests.

"Put the rulers away, boys. No fighting," she ordered.

"Yeah, go cry to your big sister! She can't protect your sorry ass forever, runt!" Scott yelled. Both Angelica and Logan froze.

"Let me at 'im," Logan growled.

"Whoops," Angelica said as she made it look like Logan broke out of her grasp.

The fight began.

Of course, in the end, Scott got his ass whooped while Logan didn't even get a scratch. Hank ended up breaking them up. "Friends, stop!" Hank ordered. "You two are better than this!"

"Come on," Jean said gently, helping Scott up. "Let's get you into the infirmary."

Logan was still pretty pissed, so when he stormed off, Hank took over the class. "Angelica, do you want to help me?"

"Sure," Angelica said. "One Howlette at a time," she joked. They finished up the class' lesson before dismissing them and cleaning up the area. "I don't think we properly met. I'm Angelica Howlette."

"Oh, yeah, word spreads fast around here," Hank said, shaking her hand. "You're much calmer than he is."

"Laser boy deserved the ass whooping he got," Angelica chuckled. "I woulda dished it out had Logan not been there."

"I'm sure you would've," Hank chuckled a little. "Well, Angelica, I would love to talk more, but I have paperwork to do. Have a good day." Angelica bid him goodbye and went to do some training. She didn't have anything else to do.

Logan was in the training room too, letting off some steam. He was punching a dummy, his claws putting large cuts in the dummy.

"Hey Jimmy, how about you save the school some money and fight me instead of that dummy," Angelica smirked.

Logan stopped and said some code. The dummy disappeared and Logan turned to Angelica. "You serious?"

"As serious as they get," Angelica grinned.

"This is an opportunity I'll never get again," Logan smirked. "Claws?"

"Claws," Angelica agreed. Her own bone claws came out. "Come on, baby brother. Show me what you're made of."
