It's been a few days after the prepared celebration. Everyone celebrated the reuniting of Aphmau and Aaron. It was a joyous time for all!

The sunlit sky was dimming that evening, and everyone decided to disperse after a day of adventuring the resort.

Nana and Zane headed off to their room. The reason why is that they had miscounted how many rooms they had. Kawaii~Chan was considered an unexpected guest, so she would be sharing a room with the Ro'Meave brothers. 

Zane pretended to complain; and they all bought it. All except for one, at least. He sighed defeated and went to go take a nap. 

All of the day's fun had Zane pooped! He was ready to collapse and hibernate the days away. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before; and all of this energy burning left him weak and tired. 

Nana explained that she felt uncomfortable sleeping on the couch downstairs of the loft bedroom. "It's too..." She paused. "Crusty!" She crossed her arms and pouted, waiting for her response. 

"It is pretty crusty. And quite uncomfortable." Garroth laughed. Zane rolled his eyes, letting out a faint "Heh." with his arms crossed. Garroth playfully punched Zane and told him so lighten up and stop being so down. 

"Zane, c'mon! You look so depressed all the time! Lighten up a little and look at least somewhat happier." Garroth spoke. Zane rebuked with a "I'm fine, thank you very much!"; making Nan chuckle cutely. 

"See? Why can't you be like her?" His brother asked, a hand presented in her direction. Zane shot a curious glare between the two before leaving the room, going up to the loft. 

...

"Hey Zane?" A quiet voice peeped from beside Zane. He coked his head towards his girlfriend who had her head resting on her shoulder. She looked up at him sadly. 

"Nana? Are you alright?" He asked. "Meep!" She cried and pulled back, nearly faling off the bed. Her face heated up, beaming a blush pink. Zane realized what he had said and looked away, embarrassed by his actions. 

"S-Sorry! I didn't realized I h-had said that." He confessed. "I-It's alright." She replied. "I just never heard you call me by my real name before." 

Kawaii~Chan looked down sheepishly, her hands on her cheeks that were still the same shade of pink. Zane pulled her close again. They changed their position so that they would be laying down. 

She wrapped her arms around Zane as she rested on her head on his chest. He wrapped a finger in her long locks of pink bubblegum hair and waited for her to talk. 

"I dunno if it's just me who's been noticing it, but..." She began. "I feel like things have been a little rough for me."

"How so?" Zane asked.

"I feel like someone's trying to pull us apart. I'm not sure who, but I've been getting this vibe recently."

Zane didn't speak. 

"I've also had the feeling that we're being watched. Like some animals in a scientist lab. Someone in the shadows lurking..."

She paused. 

"...and studying us..."

"Why would you say that?" 

"I...really don't know. I don't even feel as comfortable even just to go to the washroom anymore. It's so...."

"Abnormal?"

"Yeah..."

The two stayed quiet and in each others arms for a good minute or two. 

The silence was interrupted by Zane's hushed voice. 

"When do you think we should tell everyone?"

"About what?"

"Our relationship."

"Oh."

Kawaii~Chan fixed her posture so she was looking directly at Zane. 

"Soon."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I want to be around you without having to worry about getting caught." She replied bashfully, looking off to the side once more. 

Zane chuckled, booping her nose. The pair got off each other and off the bed to stretched. 

Instantaneously, loud thumps on the polished wooden floor echoed from downstairs. The creaking of the wood of the spiral stairs revealed Aphmau in all of her petite glory. 

"Aphmau~Senpai! You're here!" Nana cheered before engulfing her in a tight hug. "Aaak! Let me go KC!" Aphmau laughed. She reluctantly let go of her before bombarding her with all sorts of questions. 

Zane was about to leave until she dragged him back before he became out of reach. He sighed, knowing that it was going to be a long afternoon.  

...

Zane held Nana's hand as he led her to the beach right when the sun was about to rise. "Zane~. Where are you taking me~?" She whined. 

He checked the watch on his wrist as it read 5:49 AM. It was considerably early for the two but Zane wanted to do something special for her. He sat down on a soft patch of sand and ushered her to sit beside him. 

They sat side by side. 

"Zane, why are we up so early!? I wanna go back so bed!" His girlfriend began to grow annoyed at him for not telling her what was going on and for waking her up in the first place!

"Shh! Don't worry Nana! It's something special I wanted to show you." He beamed. Nana blushed once more as before, still getting used to his new "habit". 

"What is so special!?"

"The sunrises at Starlight."

'Wha..?"

"The sunrises here are beautiful and quite romantic here. I read it on an article that it's the best way for couples do do something for their loved ones."

"Aww!" She cooed. "You could have said so WITHOUT waking ME up!" She spat, her face being the definition of saltiness. Zane snickered, which earned him a playful swat on the shoulder.

"Hey!" He laughed, making her struggle not to as well. 

"Look!" He pointed. "The sun is rising!" 

They cuddled up next to each other and watched it slowly rise. 

Nana murmured under her breath.

"What was that?" Zane asked. 

"I-I.." She looked into his eye. "I love you." She said, her face beaming a vibrant rose red. 

"I love you too." He smiled, planting a small kiss on he lips. She smiled as they continued to watch the sun rise. 

The colors of the night sky and the rising sun blendedtogether to create something beautiful. A masterpiece in the sky.

"You remind me of sunrises. You're a beautiful masterpiece meshed together to make something breath-taking. And you never fail to take my breath away." Nana said. 

It was now Zane's turn to beam a shade of red. 

His scarf hung loosely around his neck, causing his smile to show in the dim lighting. She rested her head in his shoulder, purring quietly. 

The two lovebirds stayed there, enjoying the silence and each other's company.

I remember staying up just to watch sunrises. They were always so pretty. :3
