Zane

As I sat on the living room on the second floor, I began to just drift off in my own mind. I thought about my relationship. 

But then I began to think about what Garroth had told me...

. . .

So, me and Garroth were sitting on the opposite sides of the bed. 

We sat criss-cross on the bed until...

Lol, sorry to interrupt, but does anyone remember adults telling you to sit "criss-cross applesauce"? Or is it just me? xD

"So Zane.." He began, looking at me. His hands were clapped together as they lowered to point right at me. 

My head perked up from my phone to meet his eyes. 

"I understand that you and Kawaii~Chan haven't been dating for over a year, but~..."

"But what?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. 

"Have you two...y'know..?" He trailed off, shrugging his shoulders and making weird hand movements. 

"What?" I asked.

"Y'know..."Sharpened pencils", as they say."

At that moment, I felt my face burn. Like when the steam from a pot of boiling water hits your face. 

"Soo..." He began. "You have...?" Garroth said, before bursting out into a laughing fit. 

I glared at him and crossed my arms, but he kept laughing at me. 

"It's not funny. " I spat, still looking like an emo cherry with black hair. 

"And no, we haven't, if you're thinking what I think you're thinking. Why do you even need to know?!" I exclaimed, feeling very flustered. 

"I just wanted to know! Don't hate on me." Garroth said, putting his hands up. 

"I get that we're brothers, but still! I don't see the point!" I rebuked. 

"I know that we made a pact to be more open after everything, so I wanted you to be more open with me. Especially when you're in a relationship you haven't told me about for like 7 months."

"But not that!" I spat once again. 

My face still felt warm, but not as hot as before. 

Garroth then began giggling while I still sat there, beginning to blank out. 

"I would hope that you and KC do have a child though. It'll look so cute! OMI!" He flailed his hands around, fanboying. 

I rolled my eyes, as we began talking about a new topic. 

. . . 

I then began to wonder about what he said. 

Just thinking that me and Nana would consider the option of begetting a child is just..

A pair of arms wrapped around me, breaking my thought process. 

"Hey, are you alright?" A soft voice asked. 

It turns out that Nana was next to me with her head on my shoulder. 

"You seem distraught." She said. 

"I'm just thinking." 

She hummed in reply. 

Suddenly, I heard a bunch of conversation coming form downstairs. 

"Maybe we should check it out." Nana suggested. 

I nodded reluctantly, even though I wasn't really sure if I wanted to. 

As we walked down, I noticed something off. 

Aphmau and Sylvanna were talking to a blonde-haired male and a black-haired women. 

But upon closer inspection, I realized something. 

"Huh? Why is Garroth with- W-W-Whaa?"

"Old-looking skin..."

"Less than luscious locks of hair..."

"Clashing colors..."

I gasped dramatically!

"D-D-Dad!? Which means..."

I slowly turned my head as I saw my mother look at me in the eye. 

A loud siren went off in my head as I went into panic mode. 

"No..."

"Zane, are you okay?" Nana asked sweetly yet still a little concerned. 

"N-Nana..." I began, looking at her in fear. 

Third Person

Zianna gasped, moving over to the side to face Zane. 

"Zuzu!" She exclaimed, instantly ending the conversation she had with Sylvanna. 

"Run!" Zane yelled. His light blue eye has shrunk in legit fear. 

"Aww! My little Zuzu! I haven't seen you in forever. Come 'ere!" She exclaimed, running up to Zane. 

They hugged briefly, Zianna hugging tighter than him. 

Kawaii~Chan giggled, stepping aside when she heard Garroth enter the room. 

"Mommy!" He boomed, hugging Zianna too. 

"Aah. Garth, my boy! It's nice to see my handsome son again." He said proudly. 

Zane muttered something under his breath, crossing his arms.

Aphmau giggled excitingly, smiling from ear to ear as she looked at Zane and Kawaii~Chan. 

"Oh my Irene, it's so nice to see the two of my handsome boys! Aww, look at you too!" She hugged the both of them tightly. 

"It's nice to see you too...Mommy." He whispered the last part. 

"Oh Zane, that reminds me. I need to meet this new girlfriend of yours." She said. 

Garroth snickered, attempting to cover his mouth. 

"Garroth, you traitor!"

"I'm sorry!" He said, continuing to burst out laughing. 

Zane continued to glare at him before Garte interrupter the conversation. 

"Sorry for interrupting, but Garth, my boy! Since when did you get a girlfriend? I knew a handsome sport like you could land one easily!"

"Uh..." He began awkwardly.  "I don't have a girlfriend."

"W-What!?" Garte roared.

"Yeah! It's actually Zane who has one." Garroth pointed at Zane. 

"And that must the adorable pink Mei'fwa here! I heard that they're so easy-going!" Zianna cooed. "Perfect for my cranky little Zuzu!"

"Mom~!" Zane whined. 

Nana giggled, finding the situation quite funny. 

"D'oh, come here you!" Zianna hugged Nana tightly. 

"Welcome to the family!" She beamed.

"What!? Zane! Kawaii~Chan! You didn't tell me you too were dating!" Aphmau exclaimed.

"It never came up in conversation." He replied, crossing his arms in a sassy pose.

"I just can't wrap my head around this. There is no WAY Zane has a girlfriend. Garroth is the oldest! He should have one first! Look at him!" Garte boomed.

"Garte! Don't be like that!" Zianna rebuked. 

"Just because I don't look like you Dad, doesn't mean I can't get a girlfriend." Zane mumbled. 

Nana wrapped her arm around Zane's as she began to feel sluggish.

"So cute!" Aphmau gasped. 

Garte continued to act a little salty about the  situation, but was still trying to accept it. 

Sort of.

"You know what?" Zianna began, catching everyone's attention. 

"How about we go out to eat? We can have fun and catch up on things! My treat of course." She turned to look at Zane and Nana. "Especially you two! You must spill the tea, sister!" Zianna smiled brightly at the couple. 

Everyone agreed, happy to head out to one of Starlight's many boujie restaurants.
