"Zane? Are you just gonna stand there in silence or are you going to spill the beans?!" Garroth said in hope that Zane would. Zane's 'panic mode' side was screaming at him 'OH SHOOT!' while the sensible side of him was trying to tell him to calm down and tell Garroth the truth. But that was kinda hard to do with the panic side overshadowing it with it's panicked screams.

Eventually, the sensible side of him won and managed to form a sentence while having his panic mode loose. Zane just hopes Garroth doesn't start having relationship questions or else he's not going to hear the end of those. "Oh god, I don't even want to think about that!' Zane thought.

"Well, Kawaii~Chan invited me to go to a nearby cafe to catch up and-" Zane began his explanation but was swiftly cut off by his brother. "Ooooooh! Zane! Was it a date!? OH MY GOSH! *le gasp* WHAT IF SHE'S INTO YOU ZANE!" Garroth said excitedly ans he jumped up and down in excitement. Zane had to stop his.....'fan-boying' before he started doing Kawaii~Chan's fangirl-dance. (I honestly have no idea what it's called. XD)

"NO GARROTH! I-*inhales*No Garroth, it's not like that. She just wanted to catch up with me is all. And she wanted to know how the ..... experience at the lodge was...." I quickly responded to him but I did trail off at the end. I really hated bringing up that topic ever since all that happened and we brought Aaron back to safety.

"Oh right, that was another thing that I wanted to ask you. Uh say, did she ask about what happened, at all?" he questioned, his face changing into a face of concern. "Unfortunately, yes. She did. And I luckily managed to lie my way out of it." I answered. He then said okay and they exchanged goodbyes as Zane headed up to bed.

"Maybe things went better on her tail end instead of mine. But knowing Katelyn, she'd probably be crushed by the thousands of questions that she asked her." he said quietly to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile for Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn was taking a nap at the time, so she didn't have any questions to answer from her. She was thankful for the miracle since it tends to happen if she isn't home past a certain time. It was 7:00 pm, so Kawaii~Chan decided to make some bedtime treats for her and Katelyn!

As she was preparing the dough for her doughnut bites (Basically homemade Munchkins!), Katelyn came downstairs in a groggy state from her nap. She stretched her back, the bone cracking was very audible and could be heard by Kawaii~Chan all the way from the kitchen.

Katelyn could smell the dough from the stairway and decided to head to the kitchen; where the source of the smell would most likely be. She poked her head through the kitchen entrance and said "Heyo!" to Kawaii~Chan. "Hello Katelyn~Sama! How was your nap?" She asked, hopefully making a good attempt to distract her from her predicted questions.

"It was fine, kinda like any other type of nap I take, except this one was strangely different." she said. She seemed like she was almost confused by her own words. "Really! How so?" Kawaii~Chan said curiously as she began frying the doughy nuggets. "Well, this one was about a me owning a ward in like medieval times. And I remember me and Garroth fighting for some reason and Aphmau stopping us with a tainted-purple sword penetrated into the ground, separating us."

"Sounds like a crazy dream, Katelyn~Sama! Kawaii~Chan still thinks it's pretty cool. She hopes she has dreams like that." she said as she set the doughnut bites to cool off as she started making the glazed icing. "Oooooo! They're looking so good, Kawaii~Chan! Aw, I can't wait until they're finally done!" Katelyn said, impressed with her work.

She thanked her as Katelyn went to go watch something on her laptop in the living room. Meanwhile, Kawaii~Chan continued her progress on the bites. But while she continued to do so, she couldn't get her mind off Zane. The fact that he was so nervous around her at the cafe....

'Not gonna lie, Zane did look pretty cute all nervous like that. Not to mention all the freckles that he has. Gah! Why is Kawaii~Chan thinking about him like this?! She's not looking for any romantic relationships right now...."

She self-contemplated with herself as she finished up the miniature pastries. She accidentally occasionally dropped one or two into the icing due to how distracted she was. But nevertheless, she finished them and ate them with Katelyn as they watched some Netflix together.

When the two eventually went to bed, she still couldn't help but feel all squishy inside whenever she thought about their interaction at the cafe. She just thought he looked so kawaii!!! But hopefully, sleeping on it will help clear these feelings away.....hopefully......
