Misunderstood ~Chapter One~
Sally walks into the boys bathroom. He hears crying from one of the stalls. He looks down at the trash can spotting a crumpled up paper. He picks it up and un crumbles it. He reads it slowly. The paper read:
'I know we don't really know eachother and you probably have your opinions of me. I thought maybe if I told you how I feel, things could be different. The truth is I can't stop thinking about you. I'm crazy about you. I think you're amazing! But I know these feelings I have are wrong. It's not the way a boy should feel. Shame swallows me whole, just writing these words. My father would kill me but I can't live in his shadow forever. I just-'
There was just scribbles after that. Sally crumbles the paper back up and throws it away. Properly. He heads toward the stall with the crying. He knocks on the stall door before saying, "Anyone in there?" The person sniffs while looking at the door. "No duh, fuckwad. Buzz off!" Sally looks at the floor seeing Travis's shoes. 'Travis?' He thought to himself. "Travis... We're you just... crying a second ago?" Travis looks up wiping the tears away. He sniffs realizing it was Sally. "Sally Face? I- No! What the hell? Can't a guy get some privacy?" Sally sighs and kneels at the door. Travis notices Sal's knees and pulls his knees closer. "Are you okay Travis?" He doesn't answer making Sal lay on the floor. "I'm crawling in Travis." He crawls into the stall and kneels in front of Travis. "Go away you queer..." Travis says quietly as his heart rate picks up speed.
"Travis I wanna know what's wrong." Travis looks up from his arms. "Why would you help me? I've been cruel to you..." Sal moves closer making Travis let go of his legs. He backs up a bit hitting his head on the stall wall. "Trav-" "Get away from me fag!" Sally gets up and unlocks the stall door. "Fine... I was trying to be nice to you but I guess you won't take it..." He opens the door and exits the stall. He leaves the bathroom with Travis hitting himself. He gets up in pain but he ignores it. He sighs exiting the stall and out the restroom.
Travis heads to his last class of the day as the bell rang. He enters the classroom sitting in his usual seat. You see he's dreading to go home. He sighs placing his chin on his hand. From the back of the room was Larry. He saw this unusual behavior from Travis. He ignores it as you may know. Larry hates Travis. If he could kill anyone, it would be Travis. The teacher starts the lesson. Everyone was either writing down notes or not paying attention. As time passes by, it comes close to the last bell. The teacher collects the students assignments heading behind their desk. The bell rang as soon as they sat down. Travis was the first one to leave the room. To no surprise Sally was there waiting for Larry. Travis scoffs making it seem like the restroom moment meant nothing. Sally looks at Travis while Larry walks towards him. Travis heads down the hall spotting his father with an angry look. This is not good.
After Travis was dragged off by his father, Sal noticed a face he has never seen before from the blonde boy. "Does Travis's face seem scared to you?" He asked Larry who clearly wasn't paying attention at the moment. Sal lets out a deep sigh and walks down the hall. Larry follows him. "Dude I got this weird feeling in class today." Sally looks up at Larry. "What do you mean?" Larry looks down at Sal. "It's like I sensed sadness and fear from Travis. Like not his usual self." Sal raises a brow which isn't visible but you get the point. "I thought you hated Travis to not care for how he feels?" Larry shrugs while they make their way to the Addison Apartments.
Travis was terrified when they got home. His father was beyond pissed. 'He found out...' He thought heading inside his house. His father closes the door turning to Travis. "You're gay?! This is not acceptable in my household!" He backs away from his father. "H-How did you find out?" His father holds Travis's Bible in his hands and turns the pages. His father pulls out a paper that held a bookmark for something. "Father-" "I'm no longer your father. No son of mine will be a fucking fag." Travis looks away from his father. He feels so disowned. A failure in the eyes of his father.
"Travis you will be going to a camp to fix you. You need to pray for your sins to be forgiven." He looks at his father shaking his head. "No! Father you can't. I-" His father looks at him raising a brow. "What." He shakes his head again. "I don't even think I'll change." His father raises his fist and punches Travis. Travis backs into a wall and grabs his cheek. "If you don't change, then I have lost all hope in you." With that his father left the house to go back to church. After all it is a Wednesday. Tears fell down his cheeks as he heads to his room. He sits on his bed wiping the tears away. Is there any hope at all?
{Authors note • This is my first time writing a fan fiction on Sally Face. Hopefully this is good. Sorry if it's short and I'll probably make chapter two later on. Anyways I hope you enjoyed. Have a nice day! • }
