It's in the Past ~Chapter Twenty Five~
A sound of sirens fill the boy's ears. Tears fell down his cheeks as he held his father close to him. "Please father! Don't leave us!" A mother and a daughter stare at the body the boy was hugging. "Hudson!" Hudson shakes his head hugging his father tighter. He lays his face on his father's neck. Tears still streaming down his face. He felt his body shake from an unknown source. He just thought it was his mom. "Hudson!" Hudson looks up to see-
"Hudson! Are you okay?" Hudson's face was on Pat's chest. Pat's shirt was drenched in tears. Hudson wipes the tears away. "I'm fine. Just a bad dream. Sorry." Pat rubs Hudson's back softly. "Was it about your dad?" Hudson takes in a long deep breath from his cigarette. He exhales the smoke looking at Pat. "Yeah..." Pat frowns at his best friend looking at the ground. "Why don't we hang out at the grocery store? Maybe cheer you up." Hudson nods his head smiling. "I'd like that."
Hudson already knew Pat cares. He knew Pat didn't want to see him down. Yet when it came to Hudson dreaming about what happened every night, Hudson knew Pat was worried about him. His sister is worried. He's not sure about his mom. The two get up dusting themselves off. Just at that moment, Pat gets a text. Pat takes out his phone looking at the text. "I can't forgive you for what you've done. I don't think I ever could." Hudson sighs hugging Pat immediately. "He texted me that..."
Pat pushes Hudson away immediately. "You said he'll forgive me! He didn't forgive me!" Hudson looks at Pat hugging him again. "I thought he would forgive you just like how Sal forgave him. I guess I was wrong." Pat was already crying by this point. Hudson rubs circles on his back glaring at the ground. "Pat. I need you to move on from him. You're only gonna tear yourself apart." Pat sniffs hugging Hudson back. "You're right. But how would I move on?" Hudson hugs him tighter dropping his cigarette. "Be mean to him. Don't show weakness."
Pat nods his head pulling away. He drops his cigarette, but at that moment Hudson started to wheeze. Hudson grips his chest knowing that this would happen. Yet he still smokes. Pat searches through Hudson's backpack taking out an inhaler. He gives Hudson hus inhaler while putting out the cigarettes. Hudson inhales the inhaler and breathes out. "Thanks Pat." Pat smiles at Hudson. "You're welcome Hudson." They both hug for a little while before Hudson picks up his backpack. They soon walk away from school campus just as the bell rang.
Travis looks at his phone reading a text. It was from an anonymous person.
'Meet me at the Park in the run down restrooms. I want to speak with you.'
Travis knew he shouldn't trust this, but his curiosity got to him. "Sal I'll be back! I'm gonna go get Susie a chew toy!" Sal peeks out from his room with his mask off. He smiles at Travis. "Be safe Travy!" Travis walks up to him kissing his forehead. "I will!" With that Travis left the apartment. He heads towards the park checking his phone for any messages. He looks forward spotting Pat from afar. He felt horrible for not forgiving him. Pat passes by him smirking. He bumps into Travis purposely. "Watch where you're going blondie!" Travis only walks faster to the park.
Once at the park, Travis enters the rundown men's restroom. "Hello?" He looks around seeing no one in the room. "Guess it was a scam." He turns around only to have his arms behind him and his mouth covered. "Let's make this quick~" Travis recognizes the voice as his mouth got uncovered. "Hudson?!" Hudson takes out his pocket knife smiling sadistically. "Let's see how your boyfriend would think if he saw you with cuts on your arm?" Travis's eyes widen trying to get out of Hudson's grip. "Hudson please! Don't do this! Whatever your doing this for I'm sorry!" Hudson didn't listen. He slices the blade on Travis's arm making it deep as possible.
"You made my best friend cry! You deserve this you fucking fag!" Travis starts crying as things flood through his mind. Hudson kept cutting his arm making it look like Travis did it himself. Travis then screams when Hudson does the other arm. Hudson covers Travis's mouth. "Shut up or I'll make it worse!" Travis whimpers as he couldn't take the pain. Tears still streaming down the blonde's face. Hudson soon stops licking off the blood from his knife. He then puts the knife away smirking. "Good luck explaining that you Sally Face." He leaves the restroom pretending to cry to hold his shoulder. Travis gets up using his legs only.
Pat runs up to Hudson looking concern. He pulls Hudson into a hug then whispers into his ear. "Did you do it?" Hudson nods his head whispering back. "I did." They both head to the closest store. Travis exits the restroom tears still falling down his face. He takes out his phone in pain. He dials Sal's phone number. "Sally! I need you to come to the park immediately!" He yells into the phone in pain. He hears a concerned boyfriend in the other side of the phone. "I'm going Travis! Stay where you are!"
Meanwhile, Hudson was washing his face while Pat sat a table ordering coffee for him and Hudson. Hudson exits the restroom heading towards Pat. He sits down in front of Pat after the Waiter left. "So what do you plan to do tomorrow?" Pat looks at Hudson leaning on the table. "Maybe beat up Sal more. Break his mask." Hudson smiles looking out the window. "I'll keep Larry and Travis away so you can hurt Sal." Pat smirks at this. "Sounds like a plan." Hudson soon froze as his eyes widen. His father was right in front of him. But how?
"I'll get the chocolate and you get the roses!" Hudson smiles at his dad while his father messes with his hair. "Sounds like a plan. Meet you at checkout Hudson." Hudson nods his head turning away from his father and runs down the aisle. "Mom is gonna be so happy!" David smiles heading to the flower area to get roses for his wife.
Hudson felt tears going down his face as Pat got worried. "Did I-" Hudson shakes his head smiling at his friend. "No. It's in the past anyways. Now let's finish the coffee. The show is about to start anyways." Pat nods his head looking out the window spotting Travis laying on the sidewalk. Pedestrians walk by looking at him and try to help him but he denies their help. Hudson scoffs knowing he should've asked for their help.
Sal runs towards Travis as a car was ahead of him. Sal falls down to where Travis was. He looks down at his boyfriend's arms crying. "Why did you do this to yourself?! You promised me!" Travis was about to speak when Larry interrupted him. "Dude you've fucked yourself over." Sal slaps Travis across the face. "You told me you were getting Susie a toy! Explain yourself!" Travis sighs as his vision goes blurry. "I didn't do it myself. Please Sal you gotta believe-" With that Travis passed out due to blood loss. "Travis?"
"TRAVIS WAKE UP PLEASE!"
