⚠️ Warning! Like in the description, there will be a lot of abuse my friends. Either physical or mental there will be a lot. Atleast in this chapter •~• Enjoy! ⚠️

Light seeps through the stained glass window. Travis was on his knees praying. He looks up mumbling "In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit." He gets up closing his eyes. Light flashed as he feels pain on his cheek. Tears fall down his cheeks like a waterfall. His father curses his name with a sharp scowl. "You'll go to hell for your selfish acts boy!" Travis turns around falling back to his knees. Tears flow down the stream. His father kicks his back making Travis lean forward. Travis closes his eyes yet again. Light fades away revealing a mask. Travis opens his eyes looking down at the mask. He touches it rubbing his thumb on the lips. "Travis!" He looks up reaching out for the voice. Only to be consumed by darkness.

"Travis!" Sal shakes his arm concern written all over his face. Travis's eyes flutter open. In his hands was Sal's prosthetic. Sal has one hand covering his face while the other lays on Travis's arm. Travis looks at Sal sitting up. His cheeks were wet but ignores it as he looks around. "What- Why-" Sal tilts his head to the side. "Are you okay?" Travis nods his head giving Sal his mask. Sal takes the mask facing away from Travis. He places it on his face snapping the buckles in place. The walkie talkie scares both of them as the sound of Larry's voice fills the room. "Sally face! I won't be walking with you to school. Ash is taking me to school so I'll see you there!" Sal grabs the walkie talkie pressing the button to talk. "Okay Larry Face. See you there." He lets go of the button placing it back on bed side table.

Travis gets off the bed grabbing the paper for the poster and the essay. Sal scavenges through the closet taking out a outfit for the day. Travis stops moving for a second then yells out,  "Shit!" Sal looks at him tilting his head. "Something wrong Travis?" Travis shakes his head. "I-I'll see you at school..." Travis exits Sal's room hearing an okay from Sal. He frowns exiting the apartment walking towards the elevator. He presses a button waiting for the elevator to come up. The doors open with a nice soothing sound. He enters the elevator taking in a deep breath. Meanwhile, Sal was feeding Gizmo the rest of the cat food. "I'll buy you more after school Gizmo." Gizmo starts chowing down his food happily.

Travis walks up to his house taking in a deep breath. He opens the door entering his home. A large shatter rings through out the house. His father enters the room with his mother beside him. "Where have you been?" Travis looks up at his father. "I was doing a project and lost track of time." His mother turns around towards the kitchen. "Atleast you're doing your work dear." His mother smiles softly taking out some pans. "This better not happen again." Travis nods his head, but before he could leave his father stopped him. "Who was boy who dragged you to those damn apartments?" Travis looks down the hall not looking at his father. "My partner for the project..." His father looks down at him. "Better be..." His father moves away heading to the living room. Travis makes his way down the hall and into his room.

Travis changes his clothes. Today is Friday. He goes with his father to church for a meeting. It usually happens after school. He decides to wear a black shirt with a white turtleneck over it, blue jeans (yeah for once he's wearing pants), and his regular shoes. He takes the cross necklace off the wall and wears it around his neck. He fixes his hair neatly. He gets out of his room seeing his father with the car keys in his hand. "Let's go." His father exits the house. His mother kisses his forehead goodbye then he leaves the house. His father was in the car waiting for him. He takes in a deep breath. He enters the car putting on his seatbelt. He looks at his legs laying his hands on his lap. "Son. You better be home before the meeting for else." Travis grips his pants still looking at his legs. "Yes father."

His father starts up the car before slapping Travis. "You look at me before talking boy! You understand?" Travis looks up at his father. "I understand." His father looks at the road pressing the gas pedal. He backs up on the drive way. Travis looks out the window as tense silence fills up the car. Meanwhile, Sal was talking to Todd about recent ghosts he found before leaving the apartments. Todd nods his head stroking his chin in thought. Larry walks over to them with Ash behind him. She was talking about recent painting she wants to make. Chug walks over eating a breakfast taco that Maple bought for him. "Hey guys." Sal says smiling under his mask. Everyone says hello then goes into a conversation. Sal looks at the entrance of the school spotting a sore Travis. Travis looks over at the group as they noticed him also. He flips them off heading to the restroom. He was covering his cheek making a few of them suspicious.

"Do you think his dad cut him?" Sal watches Travis enter the restroom. Larry shrugs. "He deserves it." Ash nods her head in agreement. Chug wasn't paying attention to the conversation. He was only listening to Maple talk about some kind of song she was really into the past days. Cuties. Todd adjusts his glasses not saying a word. "Guys. That's child abuse and you're supporting it?" Sal looks at Ash and Larry specifically. They stayed silent not saying anything to Sal. Sal only rolls his eyes heading to the restroom. Todd looks at the others expecting one of them to call out to Sal. None of them said anything. Well except for Chug and Maple having a cute conversation about music.

Travis sits in the stall with his back against the door. He removes his hand away from his cheek crying from the pain. Blood was pouring down his cheek to his neck. "Father's always right. I'm a fucking sinner." He hears the restroom door open then lock. He hears footsteps towards his stall. "Travis? Are you alright?" Travis unlocks the stall door knowing it's just Sal. He moves towards the wall sliding down. Sal enters the stall sitting in front of Travis. "No..." Sal looks at Travis's cheek leaning close to touch it. Travis doesn't bother to move away.  He only hisses in pain when Sal touches the wound. "We should take you to the nur-" "No!" Travis yells tears threatening his eyes again. Sal backs away. "Okay... Well we can't just leave you bleeding." Travis looks Sal in the eyes. They both stare into each other's eyes. "We could just use toilet paper as a make shift bandage." Travis suggested still staring into the blue haired boy's eyes.

Sal nods his head moving close to Travis getting the toilet paper next to him. Travis felt his cheeks get warm. It wasn't the blood for sure. 'Stop it Travis! Father doesn't approve. You need to try to change so he can accept you.' Travis thought while Sal moves away wrapping the toilet paper on Travis's face to stop the bleeding. Travis looks down at his legs. Sal looks at him. "Are you okay?" Travis looks at Sal. "He doesn't love sinners."
