When Liam and I had to say goodbye, it actually broke my heart. I've never lived something so epic. It felt good to feel alive again. We'll try to stay in touch, but I don't have a lot of faith on that. He's going to live his life again, and I'll just do the same.

"Are you okay" Kate asks, taking me back from my reverie.

"Yeah", I sigh, my heart is heavy. It could explode in my chest.

"Fasten your seatbelt, we're gonna take off soon".

"Back to reality" I huff.

"Hard, isn't it?" she says, sending me a friendly look. "You'll get better soon" she adds, gently caressing my arm.

She was wrong. I've been home for two days now and I don't feel any better. It feels like something is missing in my life, and it kind of hurts.

She does her best to help me to change my mind but it doesn't work.

Kate and I are gonna meet Claire tonight at a bar, the three of us are like bestfriends since we're kids and share a special bound. She's coming back from her summer holidays as well, so we're gonna catch up and it'll probably help me to not think about Liam for one night. I haven't heard from him since, so I have to move on. I knew it was ephemera, but still.

As Kate and I walk through the door, Claire greets us with a friendly smile.

"Hi guys" she says, still smiling, hugging Kate, then me.

"You!" she shouts pointing her finger on me. "You have some serious explaining to do".

Kate glares at me, as surprised as I am by Claire's behavior.

We sit at a booth

"What were you doing on a boat with Harry Styles?" she asks.

"What?" I ask, definitely confused

"What are you talking about?

I turn my face on Kate, "What the hell?" I laugh.

Jenna

"Who the hell are you talking about?"

She doesn't say anything, the waitress comes to take our order.

She adds when she leaves.

Claire

"Ok, I understand it's kind of a secret, but you can tell me" Now she's whispering. Is she like drunk already?

Why does she look like so excited about this, and what the hell is she talking about, I am so lost.

Kate to Jenna

She knows you were on a boat, I swear I didn't divulge anything on Facebook or Snapchat, or Instagram.

Jenna

Kate

Nothing, I swear!

So how do you know about the boat, and who is Harry?

The waitress interrupts us again while she brings our drinks. It seems that beer will be helpful to figure all that out.

Claire pull his phone off her purse, going through some stuff, she hands it to me and shows me a picture, obviously taken by far.

I hand the phone to Kate
