Upset

Kaminari POV:

"He should be laying... around here somewhere. See, there's the other townsfolk who saved people.. Ah, he's right there." I said gently, pointing to the tombstone surrounded by many flowers.

"Oh my god.."

I watched as Jiro fell to her knees, her painful sobs echoing through the garden. Momo dropped beside her, holding Jiro's shoulders as she let her own tears fall.

Midoriya was crying as he stood next to his boyfriend, just staring at the grave. Todoroki looked sad, but he wasn't shedding a single tear.

As for Ochako and Tsu, they stayed standing, frozen in their tracks. Both had silent tears dripping down their cheeks.

"If it makes you feel any better.. he wasn't in any pain when he passed." I whispered, just loud enough to be heard over Jiro's loud sobs.

Nobody responded, they were all fixated on his resting place.

"We should give them space.." Hitoshi said softly, gently pulling my shoulders back.

I nod, quietly following him to the castle. It hurt, seeing my friends like that. Especially when I could relate, I did the same thing when Bakugo first came with the news.

I got to see his lifeless body before they buried him, it was terrible. Blood was everywhere, his head and chest were stained.

There was two holes in his chest, broken in by stones. And the back of his head had one large crack in the middle, where most of the blood came from. It was gruesome to say the least.

"Denks? Where you wanna go?" Hitoshi turned to ask me.

"I don't know.. somewhere with a couch?" I suggest.

"Library then?"

"Yeah."

Grabbing his hand, I walk beside him down the hall. I could never understand why his hands were always so soft..

"Hey, Tosh?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think they'll be okay?"

"Sure, they'll be fine." He nodded, pushing open the library door with his free hand.

"It's just.. it hurts to see them like that.." I admit, falling back onto the couch and dragging Hitoshi down with me.

"They'll be fine."

"How are you so calm about this?" I ask.

"I don't know.. They'll eventually suck it up and get over it." He shrugs, looking to the ceiling.

"Suck it up?" I say, appalled.

"Yes?"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"They'll get over him, that's all."

"Hitoshi, Sero is dead. He's dead! Gone forever! And you expect them to just 'suck it up and get over it?'"

"They will have to at some point, it's a part of life Denks. People die, but you have to get over it and move on."

"Are you hearing yourself right now?"

"What?"

"You're being inconsiderate right now, people take time to get over feelings. It's not just a snap of your fingers and you're over it. And seeing how Jiro reacted gives me a feeling that she may never 'suck it up and get over it.' Do you even care that he died? He was your friend too, and I have yet to see you barely even shed a tear!" I yelled, my eyes beginning to water.

"Denki-"

"No! You gave no remorse when Bakugo came to the castle's doorstep, crying his eyes out because one of our friends is DEAD! What do you not understand about that! How can you be- be so emotionless!" I screamed. I shouldn't of done that.. "Wait.. Tosh I didn't mean that."

"Emotionless?" He questioned softly, not making eye contact. "Well I'm so sorry that I felt the need to completely block out all my emotions. I try to be strong Denks, I really do. You wanna know why? Because I need to be strong for you, for Eri. And that's one thing I will always do, but if you want me to cry. I can cry just fine. But I never wanted to be an emotional burden when I needed to be there for you."

"I'm sorry.. I shouldn't of yelled.." I say, regretting my outburst.

"No it's fine." He sighed, wiping a hand over his face. "I deserved it anyways.."

"No, no. Tosh I'm really sorry." I apologize, why did I let my emotions get the better of me? "Can I give you a sorry hug?"

"No." He pouted.

"Please?"

"..fine."

Gently climbing onto his lap, and wrap my arms around his shoulders. Kissing his cheek, I lean my head on his.

"I'm sorry.. I know you don't like yelling." I whispered. "But you know what I'm gonna do to make up for it?"

"What?"

"This." I pull my head back to look at his face.

Peppering his face with kisses, I make sure get every spot. Every spot except for his lips, that is.

"Excuse me, but you're missing the most important part." He smiled.

"What? Your face isn't important?" I smirk, taking a moment to look at his eyes.

"I never said that, I just said that my whole face wasn't the most important part."

"Oh really, then what is the most important part?" I ask, already knowing what his answer would be.

"Why don't you find out?" Toshi smirks mischievously, that was not the answer I was expecting..

"Bet."

"Find it then!" He laughs.

Giggling, I slam my lips onto his. Butterflies erupted in my stomach, and I felt his arms pull me closer.

"Oh look at that, you found it." Hitoshi said sarcastically in between a breath.

"Am I.. interrupting something?"

We broke apart, and I slid off of Hitoshi's lap and back on the couch.

"Nope.." I blushed.

"I saw that Jiro wasn't taking it well.." Aizawa said, walking over to the couch.

"Yeah.. She wasn't."

"I guess making out is better than watching people cry." He chuckles, taking a seat on the couch.

"You say that like we haven't walked in on you and Pops sucking face. So shush." Hitoshi snapped, wearing a grin.

The King put his hands up in defense and laughs.

"You got me there." He admitted. "But you could've told your father and I that you were planning to bring everyone back home. Not that we mind that they're here."

"Oh.. sorry about that. They really just wanted to see Sero."

"I get it. Did you see Red and Bakugo?"

"Bakugo passed out? Yeah we saw Red carry him away. I'm just waiting for the day that they finally admit their feelings for each other."

"Okay but wasn't it cute?"

"No." Toshi said bluntly, I elbowed him in the side.

"Don't be like that."

"Ow! Meany."

"Anyways, just wanted to make sure you boys were alright. I'll get out of your hair, but please. No sex on the couch."

"Dad!"

The King just ignored him and continued on his way out of the library. I was stuck in a blushing state, why did he have to say that of all things?

"So.." Toshi turned to me after Aizawa closed the door behind him. "I still don't forgive you, wanna resume to make it up to me?"

"Yeah."
