Tea Party
"How?" I say, looking in the mirror at my face. "Who taught you to do make up this good?"
"Hitoshi did."
"What? Where did he learn this?" I turn my chin, examining each cheek, the makeup she did was flawless, and I was amazed that an eight-year-old had this much talent.
(for reference this is what medieval times makeup would've looked like, apparently they wore very minimal and pale makeup, so imagine this on Bakugo's face)
"Come on, Bakugo! I want to show Daddy and Pop your sparkly dress!" Eri said, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the door.
She drags my down the hallway, running at full speed. I struggle to keep up in the small dress, she made me put on a corset too, so I couldn't breathe.
We make a stop at two big double doors, and the Princess lets go of my fingers to push them open. Eri slips through the door, leaving me to squeeze through the foot-wide gap in the door.
"Daddy! Pops! Look at how pretty I made Bakugo!" Eri said, presenting me to her dads. I tense up, embarrassed, seeing that both of them were trying their hardest not to laugh at me.
"Ehem," Aizawa tries to collect himself, "Could you- hem- give us a twirl?"
I drop my eyes, glaring at him and then reluctantly spinning around and making my skirt poof up. Facing the pair again, I put on the most annoyed-looking face I could muster.
"You did very well, darling. He looks so pretty! Who taught you how to do makeup like that?" Mic asked the Princess, beaming at my feet.
"Hitoshi did!"
"Oh did he now?"
"Mhm!"
"And I wonder where he learned that?" Mic said, whipping his head to look at Aizawa.
"Don't look at me! He's gay, do you seriously expect him to not know how to do makeup?"
"You have point.."
"Anyways, I will be going to take this off now.." I say, turning around before I feel a pull at my skirt.
"No! We gotta show Hitoshi!" Eri exclaimed, latching onto my hand and dragging me out the door once again. I flash a pleading look at the snickering kings before I'm yanked back into the hallway, and pulled through the hallway.
The small princess runs down the halls and takes me to the Prince's door before knocking on it repeatedly.
"Hitoshi!!! Open up!" She yelled, not letting go of me and slapping the door very fast. I hear a groan and some stomps getting closer to the door.
"What is it Eri?" Shinso sighed, opening the door a crack, but blocking him from seeing me. "I'm kinda busy right now."
"You know how you taught me makeup?" Eri said, popping the 'up.'
"Yes?"
"Look at what I did!" She sing-songed, pushing the door open more, giving Shinso a full few of me. He brought a fist to his mouth and coughed, covering his laughs.
"Is Denki in there too? I want him to see!" Eri bounced, pulling on the Prince's sleeve.
"He is." Shinso turned his head, looking over his shoulder. "Babe? Eri wants you to see something!"
After a few seconds, Dunce poked his head out of the door, a blanket was wrapped around him and it went up to his neck.
"What is it Eri?" He asked, apparently not seeing me. She grabbed his cheeks, and forced his head to turn and look at me.
"Oh." He said, then breaking out into hysterical laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" Eri said, crossing her arms and going into a pout.
"Because he looks funny!" Kaminari said between laughs.
"No, he looks pretty."
"Yes, he looks very, very pretty, Eri. Thank you for showing us." Shinso said, pushing Dunce back into his room. "Maybe you can do Denks sometime, too?"
"Yeah!"
"Okay, buh-bye now." The Prince said, giving a sarcastic wave and closing the door.
"Can I change now?"
"After the Tea Party." She said, walking back to her room, I don't remember a Tea Party being part of the deal. I groaned, knowing she would cry if I didn't listen. How could I let an eight-year-old run my life?
After arriving to her room, I help her set up the tea party, pulling the table and chairs together as she got out the attendees. Claiming my seat, right next to Twinkles and Gabby, Eri sits across from me, filling up everyone else teacups.
"Wait!" She gasped, setting down the teapot and running out of the room. I shrugged, sipping my fake tea before leaning over to Twinkles.
"You don't think she peed herself, right? I really don't want to ask a maid to clean that.. Oh who am I kidding, you can't talk."
I sit patiently for a few minutes, waiting for Eri to return, and soon hearing footsteps and quiet chitter.
"-just tell him he looks pretty, okay?" I hear as the door creaks open, great. She brought someone back, I pray it isn't Mina, oh lord. Please don't be Mina.
"Bakugo!" Thank the gods, it was Red. The half-dragon came over and sat in the empty spot between Daffy and Bobby.
"Would you like some tea good sir?" Eri asked Red in her 'fancy deep voice.'
"Yes!" He says, his eyes light up with happiness as the Princess poured the pretend tea into his cup.
"You guys wanna hear some gossip?" I say dramatically, leaning over the table and pressing my palms to it's rim. The pair nod eagerly. "You know why Babbles the Monkey isn't here today?"
"Because he was sick?" Eri asked, tilting her head to the side.
"Thats what he said, right? But I heard, that he was kissing his new girlfriend behind Petunia's Flower Emporium!" I exclaim, getting a round of giggles in return.
"I heard different!" Red said, "He ate more cake from shop, and no money!"
"What!!" I laugh, "Where did you hear that?"
"Bird." He shrugged, while Eri was having a giggle fit on her chair.
"You think thats funny, Eri?"
"Yes!"
"You wanna know something else funny? I heard that while he was smooching his girl, a bird pooped on her hat! A fat dookie, plop! Right on her head!" I say, getting another round of giggles, almost causing Eri to fall out of her chair.
"Stop! Tummy hurts!" She says, still laughing.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop." Say, putting my hands up in defense, letting her calm herself.
After recomposing herself, she wears a fat grin and takes a sip of her tea. Red dramatically leans over the table, and looks Eri straight in the face.
"Dookie." He says, before the two erupt into laughter, I couldn't help but smile at the idiots. I was surprised they hadn't turned blue by the lack of breathing.
I could play with them forever, this castle really seemed to be my happy place..
