Kirishima POV:

"Come on Kirishima! Please! It's so funny!"

I shake my head no again, giggling. Kashi was dragging me through the forest, weaving throughout the trees.

"Please! Just once! One time!" Kashi begged again, tugging on my arm as she hid us behind a tree.

Shaking my head no once more, she gives me a look and let's go of my arm.

"Fine. Then just watch me, okay?" Kashi smiled, glancing around the tree carefully.

Peering around the opposite sides of the tree, I see a tall and burly man. His back was facing me, so I couldn't see his face. But I did see the many scars littering his back and his messy black hair ruly on top of his head.

Watching as Kashi tiptoed up to the mans back, I hold back a giggle. Just when Kashi was nearly a foot away from him, the guy whipped around and grabbed her by her armpits, lifting her up.

"You should know by now that you can't care me, Kash." He laughed, I liked his laugh. It was deep and very pleasant to hear.

"Aw! You're no fun!" She snickered as the man set her down.

"What! I do plenty of fun things!" He argued, pouting. It didn't seem like he had noticed me yet.

"But you never let me scare you when it's most important."

"Most important? Oh really now? What happens to make this time so important?"

"Kirishima's here. And I wanted to make him laugh." Kashi explained, pointing to the tree I was hiding behind.

My face got a little hotter in embarrassment as I made eye contact with the man. Stepping out, I give him a nervous wave and smile.

But instead of returning my friendly gesture, the man frowns. And all signs of the happiness that was once in his face when talking to Kashi, had vanished.

"Oh. Kirishima you say.." He says, straightening up.

The man was tall, like a whole foot taller than me. And his large muscles didn't help either. But when he got closer, it revealed just how tiny of a person I was. He scared me..

"So you're the one that Mirio tackled from the sky? I was watching from below, I thought he was gonna kill you!" He grinned, crossing his arms as he looked down at me.

Getting way to close, I felt my smile slowly falter. I didn't like him being that close, he reminded me of M-

"Kenta! Stop that, you're scaring him!"

"I don't trust him."

Their voices became harder to hear over my rapid breathing. Not again, please not again.

He was dead! I killed him, like the monster I am. I was just like the monster they said I was..

"Kenta! What did you do!?"

"I don't know! I'm sorry I didn't mean to I swear!"

"Do something!"

"I- I- don't know what to do! I'm kinda freaking out here!"

"Uh... hug him! Isn't that what Mirio does when Tamaki does this?"

"Maybe? I don't know?"

"Just hug him! I don't want Tooru knowing that he panicked again. She'll blame me!"

"Ah okay! Um, there there?"

I feel to large arms move my hands from my hair and to my sides. And then warmth, since when did Master or the guards give warmth?

"Kirishima calm down please! I swear I didn't mean to scare you!"

Bakugo? Did he come back for me? No. He broke his promise. Bakugo doesn't like me anymore, he left.

"Who?" I ask, gripping on to the mans shirt.

"What is he saying Kashi? I don't understand English."

"And you think I can?"

"I don't know!"

Big hands brush through my hair as I collect my breath. He was dead, he was dead. There's nothing to worry about..

I can't go making these people worry. That's probably why Bakugo left me, because I was too worrisome.

"See? That's better. Sorry to give you such a fret there." The man said, pulling back and scruffing my hair.

"Sorry, sorry." I apologize, knowing they can't understand me.

"Anyways, I have to gather more wood to repair the huts. Warrior broke another wall in one of his rages.." He said, pointing over his shoulder with his thumb.

"Who's wall was it this time?" Kashi asked, looking exited.

"Itazura's. Oh boy was she furious!" The man laughed, I had no idea who they were talking about.

"I'm surprised Warrior is still alive after that. If I touched any of Ita's stuff you might aswell gift me to the gods."

Gods? Who were they talking about? I was confused.

"Oh wait! Kirishima, you have to meet someone! She's the best!" Kashi turns to me, her smile almost blinding.

"Who?" I ask, getting eager.

"Come on Kiri! Bye Kenta!" She grabs my hand and runs through the forest again.

Kashi called me Kiri.. I liked it. We keep running through the forest, giggling and getting our feet muddy. Kashi was fun, I liked her too.

"Hold on, we gotta shift before we see her. It's only fair, and plus it's better for her to see us." She stops, letting go of my hand and taking a couple steps back. "Don't look, I get nervous."

Covering my eyes, I smell burning before a gust of warm wind blows through my hair.

"Aren't you gonna shift?" She was a dragon, like I was..

"Sorry.." I say, stunned by the fact that she could shift like I could..

Smoke blurred my vision as I felt my limbs swell. And my ears picked up more quiet sounds, along with thousands of new smells filling my nose.

But one thing I was focused on was the small brightly scaled red dragon in front of me. My scales were much more of a deep red than hers, she was cool looking.

Following her further into the forest, watching as the skinny rays of sun make the light bounce off her scales, we come upon a cave in the ground.

"Grandma Chiyo's in here. She's not actually our grandma, but she likes being called that. Also you kinda have to speak loud, she can hear you very well. And she might call you Toshinori if you do something stupid. I don't know why.. Oh, and don't mention her size. Ask Ita if you want to know what happens." Kashi explains over her shoulder, walking to the cave.

Taking a gulp, I walk in after her. It was quite dark, but there seemed to be a light in the back of the cave.

It was very quiet, and only the sounds of our footsteps could be heard. I didn't like the silence..

"Grandma Chi? Hello?" Kashi calls out, my excitement growing.

"Yes deary? Who is that you have with you? I don't think I recognize them.." A scratchy voice rang from the end of the cave.

"I have someone here to meet you! He's super nice, and I think you'll like him!"

"Is that so.. About time I got another grandbaby."
