Flower Thievery

Kirishima POV:

"Maybe this one you'll like?" Momo said, handing me the fifth cup of tea. We were down in the Inn's cafeteria eating breakfast, and she was trying to find 'my perfect cup of tea.'

I take a sip, instantly scrunching my nose in disgust. It tasted worse than the sad bowls of water Master would give me. Well, maybe not that bad...

"Bad." I said, handing back the cup. She took the cup and rushed over to the kettle on the counter, dumping out the liquid and then refilling it with hot water. Grabbing a new tea bag and spoon, Momo dropped the bag in the steaming water and stirred it quickly while walking back to me.

"This one's black tea, it was highly recommended by the owner."

"Bad."  I repeated after taking a sip, again scrunching my nose in disgust.

"Hm, maybe tea is just not for you." She concluded, taking the cup back and going to the counter to clean it.

"Alright guys! Group meeting!" I hear Bakugo shout, ushering us all to one table.

We all take a seat, and I sit right next to Bakugo, he gave me this weird feeling. And I kinda liked it..

"Alright, we need to discuss our route to the second kingdom." he started. "Luckily the Yamada and Aizawa Kingdom is right next to this one, so we won't have to make a stop in a forest. Its only a seven hour walk, too. Plus, we have good connections with the royalty there.. so.."

"We get to see the Princess again? Oh, its been so long!" Mina exclaimed, jumping up and leaning over the table.

"Yes- well maybe. If they'll let us come in, that is."

"Who are you kidding? She loves me, of course she'll make her dads let us in! And plus I don't think the Kings will turn us away either."

"What about the trail Bakugo? Are we just going to walk the main roads?"

"We could, so we can go more unnoticed. Or if you guys want to risk it we can rent horses again with a wagon."

"We should play it safe. We're getting too far into this mission for it to be foiled now."

"So its settled. We're walking?" Bakugo asked, getting nods from around the table. "Finish eating and we'll leave."

My head had been hurting all morning, and was continuing to pound as everyone stood up to leave after eating. Luckily we had packed before breakfast, and took our bags with us in the cafeteria, hanging them on the backs of our chairs.

Walking outside, backpack strung over my shoulders, I press a palm to my forehead. I see Mina glance at me from the corner of my eye before walking closer to me.

"You have a hangover, too?" She asks, whispering. Hangover? I have never heard of that word before..

"Han, hang, uv, oov, ov, ovir, over.. hang-over?" I question.

"Oh good job! But yeah, hangover. Its when your head hurts after drinking too much alcohol. You remember that funny juice I gave you yesterday?"

"Yes."

"That was alcohol, it makes you do funny things." She explained, I nodded in understanding. But it still didn't make me like the headache..

After walking for what it seemed to be hours, the sun was directly over our heads, beating down on us. Although I was hot, I wasn't tired. Bakugo had mentioned something about my amazing stamina? Don't remember what stamina was though.

Looking at everyones faces, I saw mostly sweat and frowning. Which wasn't good, they need to be happy! I begin to think of ways to cheer them up, when I see a wagon of flowers for sale only two street posts away.

Slyly moving to the left side of the sidewalk, closest to the wagon, I walk forwards, getting closer and closer to the wagon with each step.

Spotting the biggest flower on display, I scan around the wagon and spot who I assume to be the owner. And luckily, they were helping someone else with another flower.

I walk past the wagon, and duck right behind it. Peeking around the corner, I see that no one is looking. So I snatch the flower I had seen from a few seconds ago and tuck it in my jacket.

Jogging to catch up with my friends, I sneak up behind Jiro, banging my shoulder against hers playfully.

"Hey- oh. Its you Red." She laughs, I put a finger up to my lips and pull out the flower from my jacket.

"Flower!" I exclaim.

"Wait what? Where did you get that? Its beautiful." Jiro says, I point behind us at the wagon. "You did not! Red! You scandal! Go show Bakugo that!" She giggles, pushing me towards Bakugo.

I tap Bakugo on the shoulder, getting his attention. He looks to the side at me, giving a questionable look.

"Flower!" I say, showing him the large white flower I had stolen.

"Heh?" He says, "Its very pretty."

"Guess where he got it?" Jiro says over my shoulder, almost scaring me.

"The ground? Where flowers grow?"

"He stole it." She smiles as Bakugo raises his eyebrow in surprise and chuckles.

"Your kidding?"

"Nope, this rascal snatched it unnoticed." Jiro ruffled my hair while Bakugo smirked, I could tell he was impressed.

"Nice."

Continuing our walk, we finally make it inside the Yamada and Aizawa Kingdom borders. And according to Bakugo, we only had to walk one more hour. The closer we got, the more Mina began to bounce around an smile. Blubbering about the Princess, saying how fun it will be to play dress up with her again.

"We wish to speak to the Kings." Iida says to one of the guards standing before the castle. We had finally arrived and the castle was massive.

"And why should I let you in?" The guard asked.

"Because we are good friends with them. Let us in." Bakugo butted in.

"I'm afraid I cannot do that."

"I am Prince Bakugo Katsuki and this is my escorts, I demand you to let us in." Bakugo snarls, I see the guards eyes go wide and he immediately bows in respect.

"My apologies," The guard steps to the side, letting us in.

"I hate how I always have to state my name to be respected." I hear Bakugo mutter under his breath.

We had to cross through the gardens to get into the castle, which was filled with numerous flowers and large trees. Weirdly, not one gardner was out doing their job like I had expected. Maybe it was just their off time?

Arriving to the main door, Mina opens it for us. Despite its massive size, she seem to have no trouble pushing the doors.

As I enter the castle myself, I become astonished with the massive hallways and paintings. The large paintings were of a small family, who I assumed to be the Kings, Prince, and Princess.

Bakugo was leading the way through the halls, weaving left and right, until we came to a stop at some big yellow double doors. He knocks three times.

"Oo! I think thats my brie!" a muffled voice says on the other side of the door. "Come in!" they say louder. Bakugo opens the door with a loud creak.

"Its not your brie, Mic." Bakugo says, smiling.

"Ah, Bakugo!" A blonde, who I think is one of the Kings, says. A small girl sitting next to them in a beautiful little purple dress hops off her own chair and runs in our direction.

"Mina!" She giggles, sprinting to Mina who was squatting with her arms wide. The little girl jumps into her arms as Mina picks her up and swings her around.

"Uh Bakugo? Who's the one with the Red hair?" I hear a different deeper voice ask, I turn my head back around to face the Kings.

"Him? Thats Red. It's a long story." He explained, I gave the Kings a smile.

"Perhaps you can tell us after you explain why your here?"

"Yeah, sure."
