Will's POV

A/N: I'm just going to say that Leo came back with Festus and Calypso, okay? I'm sorry, I don't feel like writing the whole reunion.

Will's POV
After a few weeks of planning at meals and between shifts, the party was finally ready.

Nico and I have been talking more, and I'm starting to see him finally opening up to me.

"Chiron said yes!" Jason shouts, practically skipping out of the Big House.

"Yes!" Nico says, hugging Jason and Piper. Jason pulls Piper up for a kiss and Nico and I stand next to each other awkwardly.

"Congratulations," I say, sticking out my hand. Without making eye contact, Nico shakes my hand.

"Good job with helping us plan," Nico mumbles.

We stand there for a few seconds, looking around and just shaking hands.

Jason clears his throat, relieving us from the awkward moment.

"So, tonight is the party and it'll be at in the Zeus cabin," Jason says, one arm slung over Piper's shoulder.

"Don't forget to tell everyone and bring what we said," Piper says with a grin.

"This party is going to be unforgettable," Jason almost whispers, making the last word sound terrifying.

"Yeah," I mumble awkwardly. "So, what time do you want us there to set up again?"

"Be there by 8, it'll start at 9," Nico says, glancing up at me. "Percy, Annabeth, Leo and Calypso are also going to help set up."

I nod, making a mental note of the information.

"Guys," Piper interrupts my thoughts. I realize that Nico and I have been staring into each other's eyes. "Time for lunch."

*time skip*

After lunch, Nico helps me gather the stuff needed for the party.

"Where are we going to get extra smoke detectors? And what are they for again?" I ask, scratching my head.

Nico lets out a short laugh. "Leo needs the extra parts for the sound system, I think. They should have some in the Hephaestus cabin."

"Alright, let's check there," I say, picking up the pace.

"Slow down!" Nico says, jogging to catch up.

I laugh. "Sorry, forgot about your short legs."

"I could kill you easily," Nico mumbles. "And I could send you to the deepest parts of Hell where you would never see the precious sun light again."

"Holy Hades, Death Boy," I say, ignoring more death threats. Before I think about it, I grab Nico's wrist and start running.

    "Solace!" Nico whines.

*time skip*

I arrive at the Zeus cabin at 8:45.

"I'm sorry!" I yell, running in. "I'm sorry. Emergency surgery."

"What?" Leo asks from the rafters in the ceiling. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah," I say, trying to catch my breath. "The Stolls again. You don't want to know what happened."

"Okay. Uh. I think they need help in the kitchen," Leo says, pointing towards the door to my left.

"Thanks!" I say, jogging. When I open the door, I see Jason and Piper covered in flour and other ingredients.

I put my hands on my hips. "Guys."

"Oops! Sorry! We, uh, we just got carried away," Jason says, throwing one last hand full of flour at Piper.

"What the Hades?!" Nico yells, entering through a different door and coming to stand beside me.
I try to ignore the thumping in my chest. "Seriously, though."

"That was the last of the flour, you guys!" Nico whines.

"It's okay, we already made everything, it's in the oven," Jason says, wiping his hands on his jeans.

"No, we need one more thing of cookies, or something. Abigail from the Ares cabin has the flu and she was going to bring us some peanuts butter cookies," Nico shouts over Leo's power tools.

"What? She's sick? Is she alright? Is she in the infirmary? Is anyone else-" I start towards the door but Nico grabs my wrist.

"No. You're staying," Nico says, causing my cheeks to turn red. "You need to calm down."

"Yeah, Will," Jason says, hands behind his back. "You need to lighten up."

Jason throws me a box of something, Domino Light Brown Sugar. He meant it as a joke, but the box was open, so I'm hit directly with sugar.

"Oh crap," Piper says, looking from me to Nico, who was also covered with sugar.

After rubbing the sugar out of my eyes, I look at Nico and giggle. His normally black hair is dusted with brown sugar that sparkle when he moves. The sugar gives the illusion that his pale skin is some what tan.

"What's so funny?" Nico asks, glaring at me.

"You look ridiculous," I some how manage to get out between fits of laughter.

"You don't look so great yourself," he says, his face turning red.

"It looks like you're tan, for once!" I say, holding my sides.

"Oh, isn't that an eggcelent joke," Nico says, smashing and egg on my head.

"You did not," I say, glaring daggers into his skull.

"Oh, but I think I just did," he responds immediately, a smug look on his face.

"You can do butter than that," I say, throwing a stick of butter and Nico's chest.

"Aw. Fudge you, Sunshine," Nico says, hitting me I. The face with fudge.

"Wow, you're on a roll, Death Boy," I shout, pretending to stab Nico with a rolling pin.

"Guys!" Percy shouts from the door. "People are starting to arrive!"

    "Crap," I mutter.

"I have extra clothes," Jason says, pulling both of us to the bathroom. "Rinse off and get dressed!"

"I'll go first," I say, grabbing a towel and taking off my shirt. "Don't look."

After I get in, I turn the water on hot. As steam fills up the bathroom, I hear the door open.

"Here! Now hurry," Jason says, giving Nico the extra clothes.

"Okay. I'm done. Hand me the towel and clothes," I say, sticking my hand through a the door.

"Fine," Nico grumbles, throwing the clothes.

I get dressed and get out, drying my hair with my towel. "Your turn, I'll be outside, okay?"

Nico just nods, stepping past me, never making eye contact while keeping his head down.

As I walk outside, I feel the blush creep up my neck to my face.

"Finally!" Piper says, dragging me by the arm. "I need you to stand my the punch bowl and make sure no one spikes it."

After given my assignment, I watch the bathroom door longingly. (A/N: "When will my husband return from the war?)

"Will!" Piper says through grinding teeth.

"Sorry!" I say, taking one last glance at the closing bathroom door.

"Nico?" I ask, glancing around. No sign of him.

"Nico!" I shout, catching a glance of him running towards the door.
