"Bullying is just a sign of another's insecurities and the problem does not dwell within you, but within themselves."
Dark clouds loomed above me, covering the sky in a blanket.
I sped up, hoping to get out of the rain before the sky fell. Idiot me for not bringing an umbrella.
Drip.
Oh crap.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
Splash!
I ran now, putting up the hood of my blue hoodie.
My sneakers splashed through the already forming puddles on the rough sidewalk.
Then of course, thanks to my bad luck, a bus drove by at that exact moment, soaking me.
It wasn't that I hated the rain, in fact, I loved water.
I just hated lightning, thunder, and getting soaked when you were late for school.
Honestly, I couldn't care less if I was late. School was a place of torture. There's barely anything there that makes me want to be there. The average teenage review, I guess.
One of the only reasons I went was because of my mom. She was amazing. She wanted me to have a good education, and I didn't want to let her down. She worked so hard to support us, alongside Paul. So, I went.
I ran through the heavy, rusted, metal doors at the entrance, past many corridors of empty halls, and into history class.
The teacher for this class was actually kinda... cool. She was a younger teacher, in her late twenties. Not too bad looking either.
She wore a white blouse with a red pencil skirt. They hugged her body, showing off curves. Her blonde hair was in a casual ponytail, and her lips coated with a layer of red lipstick.
"Mr. Jackson! Late again I see."
"I got um, caught in the rain."
She sighed and shook her head while smiling.
"Take the seat up in the front corner."
We had this thing, where every time I was late, she would move me up a few seats until she couldn't move me anymore and then she would give me
a tardy.
Oh wait, I forgot to mention her name.
It was Ms.Quentin. Molly Quentin.
"Okay class. Today we are learning about World War One, or as they called it, The Great War, before they knew there was going to be a second war.
A lot of groans followed her announcement, mine included.
"Yes, I know you've had to learn about this before, but bear with me. Now can anyone tell me what started the war?"
After this point, I kinda zoned out.
I thought about the big purple bruise on my right arm. I hoped my mom didn't find about it...
Or the scratch on my leg. Or the other various bruises.

The rest of the day went by fairly quickly, which was surprising since I had ADHD.
I slammed the door of my locker shut, trying to get out of this torture hole quickly.
I was almost home free, when I heard a voice.
"Where do you think you're going Jackson?"
I closed my eyes and slowly turned around, bracing myself for what was to come.
Hi. Hopefully you guys liked that chapter. I would've written another one, but I'm pretty sleepy right now.
I'll probably post another one tomorrow. Also, I have one week till school starts again. :( I mean I want to see people, but I don't want to go to classes and wake up early... UGHHHH... When does your school start?
Yours in demigodishness, and all that. Peace out.
