Alyson's P.O.V.

I'm currently brushing my hair when Klaus puts his warm hands around my waist.

"Good morning." He greets kissing my exposed shoulder.

"Good morning." I respond with a small smile.

"Can I give it a try?" He asks. "

Sure." I answer handing him my hairbrush. And he starts to brush my hair.

"So love there's something I've been meaning to ask you." He confesses.

"Yeah?" I question turning a little towards him.
He stops brushing my hair and sets down the brush.

"What did you mean by it isn't over?" He questioned calmly.

"I honestly have no idea but all I know is that it won't be good." I explain as my body turns to him. "Promise me something?" I question playing with my fingers.

"Anything." He replies immediately.

"Promise me you'll keep yourself safe." I say. He places his hand on my cheek and I lean into it.

"I promise you Alyson that I will keep myself safe." He promises. He pulls my face closer to his and we share a kiss. When we pull away we rest our foreheads on one another.

Later I walk into the cafeteria where Rebekah is already starting to clean up.  "So where's Matt?" I ask as I throw some things in the trash.

"He bailed. Got called into work at the last minute." Rebekah answers sweeping some stuff up.

"Are you kidding me? So, it's just us?" I ask as I take down some decorations.

"Yes and it's a good thing you're on time." She points out.

"Look I want to say sorry about killing your mom. She was going to hurt you all and I didn't want that. But she was still your mother." I apologize turning to her.

"Why do you care about all of us so much?" She asks continuing to clean up and me doing the same.

"Well you're my best friend and best friend's stick together. I'm completely and utterly in love with Klaus even though he can be an ass sometimes. Elijah is a friend too of sorts he was one of the only people I could talk about my problems with and wouldn't judge me. And Kol though I don't know him it seems like we could be good friends. And Finn I honestly don't know." I explain.

"I'm sorry about your teacher. He seemed like a nice guy." She says sympathetically.

"He was." I agreed with a small smile.

"I'm gonna get started on the gym." She announces walking out of the cafeteria. I continue cleaning up when my hearing picks up something.

"You're supposed to be dead." Rebekah states in shock.

"I am!" Alaric yells darkly. I drop everything and rush out of cafeteria.

"Don't do this Alaric." I warn. "This isn't you." I added trying to talk him down.

"Alyson so blinded by your feelings when you don't see the truth." He taunts. "Rebekah run." I command walking in front of her.

"Alyson no he could kill you." She protests but I hold up my hand. "I'm a lot stronger than you think." I say my eyes turning golden.

"Now run." I command. When she gets out of here. "Time to play." I state getting in stance.

Me and Alaric have been going toe to toe I would say it's kind of an even match. "Before you say anything I'm not a vampire." I start landing a round house kick. I end up ducking and then I come back up.

I jump on top of his shoulders and use my legs to snap his neck. I grab his body and lift him up on my shoulder and put him in his classroom. I speed away from the school.

Rebekah's P.O.V.

Klaus is packing up things around the house as I talk to him. "Alaric Saltzman just tried to kill me." I inform him and he sighs.

"Alaric Saltzman is supposed to be dead." He points out. "Where is he now?" He asks turning to me.

"He's stuck at the school without a daylight ring, but as soon as night falls he'll come after us. We need to leave now." I explain.

"Fine I'll collect Elena and Alyson and we'll be gone in no time." He assures me. "Speaking of which where is Alyson?" He inquires.

"About that. . ." I trail off my body filling with dread.

"Today little sister." He says impatiently.

"She told me to leave her there." I tell him. He's deadly calm no emotion on his face.

"You what!? You left her  alone with him!?He could hurt her and it would be your fault!" He screams his hand around my throat.

"She told me she would be fine. I thought she would be okay." I point out trying to reason.

"I don't care. I promised that I would take care of her and protect her from harm. Now you just might make me break that promise." He says letting me go.

"And hurting her sister is kind of breaking that promise. Alyson I get but Elena? You don't need anymore stupid hybrids!" I yell rubbing my throat.

"What I need is protection from Esther's continued assaults against us." He argues back.

"We protect each other but do whatever you wank Nik. But I'm leaving out of that door you can either stay or leave with me the choice is yours." I snapped leaving the house.

Alyson's P.O.V.

It's been getting darker and darker and when my phone rings. I take my phone out and notice it's Klaus. I press accept.

"Alyson are you alright where are you?" He asks concerned.

"I'm walking home." I answer.

"Did he hurt you? I swear if he did I will kill him." He threatens.

"No he didn't I'm completely fine." I assure him.

My phone beeps and I look to see I'm getting a call from Alaric.

"Hold on a sec." I say.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"I have Caroline with me here who happens to be tied to a chair with ropes of vervain. Now come back to the school and I might let her live." He informs me.

"I'm on my way." I relent. "And for her sake you better hurry." He says.

I switch back to my call with Klaus.

"He has Caroline and I need to go back." Is the first thing I say.

"No  do not go back there." He protests.

"I don't have a choice Klaus she is my friend and I protect my friends. You can fight me on this later but I need to go." I declared.

"Alyson-" I cut him off by hanging up the phone.

I brace myself for a fight and speed back to the school. When I get to school Elena is just getting there too. "He called you to?" I ask her.

"Yeah." She answers and I open the door to the school. I can hear Caroline crying and gesture for Elena to follow me. "Caroline." Elena says gasping when we walk into Alaric's classroom. "Let her go Alaric!" Elena demands.

"Free her yourself." He tells Elena pointing to Caroline. They both stare at each other as Elena walks forward. When she takes the stake out he puts it back in.

"You said you would let her go!" She exclaims. "How many times do I have to tell you Elena? Stop trusting vampires." He says. He takes off Caroline's gag and dips it into vervain. "Stop this Alaric." I warn.

"How about you come over and make me Alyson." He challenges twirling a knife.  In a split second I rush over to him and pin him against the wall.

"Get Caroline and go! Go!" I yell pushing him into the wall more.Elena takes off Caroline's gags and quickly rips out the stakes then they leave the room. I throw Alaric to the ground and kick him out of the room.

Klaus's P.O.V.

When we get to the high school I care hear fighting going on. I sneak into the school I see Alyson fighting Alaric. She looks as if she hasn't been touched once which is honestly quite surprising. She looks like a goddess defending her kingdom. She then speeds away  and I follow. I put my hand over her mouth and she begins to struggle.

"Hey it's me it's just me I'm here you're safe." I assure her and she relaxes. I take my hand off her mouth and she turns around giving me a hug.

"I have had a crap day." She says.

"I'm going to need you to get out of here and somewhere safe while I deal with this." I tell her.

"No I'm not going anywhere. I'm not letting you do this by yourself. We do this together or not at all." She declares.

"Okay but you stay by my side." I tell her and she nods her head.

"Let's do this." She says with a nod of her head.

"Let's do this." I confirm.

Alyson's P.O.V.

We end up meeting up with Stefan and I nod my head at him. "Stefan." I greet.

"Alyson. What are you doing here?" He asks confused.

"I'm here to save my best friend and my sister." I answer. "Now let'a cut the chit chat." I add. I hear Elena tell Caroline to go get help when she comes rushing out here I grab her from behind and put my hand over her mouth.

"Hey it's just me I'm going to need you to go home and stay inside." I instruct. I let her go and she faces me. "Everything will be alright you just need to leave and we'll take care of everything. I assure her.

"Thanks Alyson you're an amazing friend." She tells me before speeding out of here. Damon joins ans we all speed to Alaric's classroom.

"I should kill you. I should gut you like Brian Walters, Bill Forbes, and all the other cowards I plan on ripping apart. You're the worst offender of them all, Elena. You don't deserve to live." Alaric jeers.

"So then, why am I still alive? There's obviously no humanity left in you, so what's stopping you, Alaric? If you want me dead then kill me." Elena shoots back. "Do it! Kill me!" Elena urges. That's when Stefan and Damon speed in there.

"Do it now!" Damon yells. I speed in there and Alaric has thrown Stefan and Damon off as if it was nothing. I hit Alaric in the face then jump and swing making my foot come in contact with his face. I slam his face on my knee. Klaus speeds in and puts his hand through his chest.

"Klaus don't kill him." I tell him. Alaric manages to take Klaus's hand out of his chest and throws him to the floor.I rush over to Klaus and help him up. Alaric throws Klaus out and he makes contact with the lockers. Alaric is about to stake him with the white oak before he can do that I raise my hand and light shoots out of my hand knocking it out of his hand.

"Stop!" Elena yells and Alaric looks at her. I help Klaus up and he pushes me behind him and stands in front of me protectively.

"Alyson I need you to get out of here." He tells me.

"Let them go or I'll kill myself." Elena threatens.

"What? no!" I affirm.

"You have fought fiercely and I couldn't be more proud but I need you to go." He says his voice filled with finality. "Please Alyson it will give me piece of mind to know you're safe." He says.

"Okay fine but promise to come back to me?" I ask.

"I promise." He says. I give him a quick kiss and leave.

When I get to my home I immediately get into the shower. Once I'm done I dry myself off and go to my room. After putting on lotion and deodorant I put on another set of clothes because I know everything isn't done yet.

"Dammit Klaus." I mutter to myself. Time to pay a visit to his mansion. I walk outside and get in my car and drive to his mansion. When I get to his house I park my car and get out and walk up the steps.

Klaus's P.O.V.

Klaus open the door. The voice of Alyson commands. Alyson? I question. Open the door now or I'll bust it down I know you have Elena. She says making me sigh. I go to open the front door and there she is standing in all her beauty angry with me.

"Before you say anything-" I start but she raises her hand cutting me off.

"Save it now where is she." She demands.

"Alyson I'm sorry I was going to tell you." I say trying to reason.

"When? Before or after my sister is dead?" She questions.

"I'm not going to let her die I was just going to take enough blood so that I can create more hybrids."I answer trying to defend myself.

"You don't have to pretend to be the big bad hybrid with me. You are not alone you have me. And I'm not going anywhere." She assures me both hands on the side of my face and I lean my head in her hand.

"Come on let's go save your sister." I say letting her inside. When we open the door to the room I have Elena is Tyler is trying to help her.

"Tyler?" Alyson questions. "Just take Elena to Damon and Stefan." She instructs and Tyler nods his head and continues to help her.

"How did you break the sire bond?" I ask.

"By breaking every bone in my body a hundred times for the girl I love." He answers.

"That's impossible." I say.

"Is it?" Tyler asks walking towards me. "Or maybe real love is stronger than fake loyalty. But what would you know about that?" He questions coming closer but Alyson pushes him back.

"Will you both stop acting like children. Tyler take Elena now." She orders. He picks Elena and goes to leave.

"You know, you should be thanking me. I gave you a gift. I took away your misery." I taunt.

"You didn't give a crap about me! You just didn't want to be alone!" He yells.

"Cut it out you two Tyler leave and Klaus shut up." She orders. Tyler walks out of the room with Elena.

"Do you just love to piss people off?" Alyson asks with a head tilt.

"What can I say I live for the thrill." I reply.

"Thrill my ass." She retorts. I put both of my hands on her waist bringing her closer to me.

"You looked incredibly sexy fighting today and taking charge." I say seductively.

"Oh yeah?" She asks looking into my eyes.

"Most definitely." I respond kissing her.

"I want you right here right now." I growl in her ear.

"Then have me." She whispers in my ear. I take off her shirt and sit her on the desk and we continue to kiss tearing off each other's clothes.

It gets heated real fast I pick her up and push her against the wall and suck on her neck letting everyone know that she's mine. I kiss down the middle of her breasts and she's clawing at my back.

Alyson's P.O.V.

After having sex with Klaus I decide to go home instead of staying the night because I'm pretty sure he has things to do. "See you tomorrow?" I ask my body slightly turned to him.

"Of course I've been meaning to take you out to dinner." He says.

"Is that your way of asking me out?" I ask fully turning to him folding my arms.

"Will you go out with me to dinner Alyson?" He asks smiling.

"Yes I would love too." I answer. He brings me in for a long passionate kiss.

"I love you." "I love you too." He watches me as I get into my car to make sure I'm alright. Once I get home I kick off my shoes and plop myself onto the couch. I turn on the television and begin to watch the new episode of The Game of Thrones. I'm thirty minutes into the show when I get that familiar feeling. I get a text from Caroline.

I'm so sorry but we had to put Klaus down he's been desiccated

I pick up my phone and dial her number. "Hello?" She answers. "Rebekah they desiccated him. They have his body." I cry out.
