The final bell just rang and Nichelle is standing with me at my locker.

"I don't see why you won't date Randy. You two are just so cute together and I know the reason your not dating him is because your scared, not because you need to wait until we defeat the sorceress." Nichelle says.

"I am not scared." I say.

"You so are. I can see it in your eyes."

"Am not."

"Are too!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"Can we stop arguing and so to Charlie Cluckers or something? I'm starved and I haven't eaten since lunch." I say.

"Okay fine but your paying." Nichelle says.

"Nichelle I have 200$. What happens after I use it up?"

"Get a job duh."

"Me? Work?" I start laughing. "Please."

"What I'm seriously? You want more money? Get a job." Nichelle says.

"Do I have to." I whine.

"Yeah but after we eat. I'm hungry too. You know what, let's invite the gang. We should probably get to know each other before we have to fight you know who."

"Sure but-" I start, then she runs away to find Ivory, Rebecca, and Justin.

I stand at my locker playing games on my iPhone then Ivory, Rebecca, and Justin walk up to us.

"So, where are we going?" Justin asks.

"Charlie Cluckers you heard of it?" I ask.

"Nope." Justin says.

"Let's just go." Ivory says.

We walk back to my house so I get my money, then we go to Charlie Cluckers and take a seat.

"What would you all like to order?" A guy named Alex asks. I know his name because he's wearing a name tag.

"I'll have a double bacon cheese burger and a large orange crush."

Once everyone else orders Alex walks away with his little note pad that has our orders written on it.

"So Richelle here is getting a job." Nichelle says.

"Why?" Ivory asks.

"She wants me to get more money to buy her stuff." I point to Nichelle.

"What else would you need money for?" Nichelle giggles.

"To buy stuff I actually want."

"And what would you buy? A ring for little ol' Randy?"

I glare at Nichelle.

"What!" Ivory asks.

Alex gives us our food so we dig in.

"Yeah, do you have a crush on Randy? I knew you love him back!" Rebecca says.

"I don't have a crush on Randy you guys need to stop bringing it up." I say.

"Your in denial Richelle. You totally like him." Ivory says.

"Fine, maybe I like him a little."

"I called it!" Nichelle says.

"Now. When you date him. Don't rub it in my face because I like him too." Rebecca says.

"Maybe I should just to get you jealous. Make out with him in front of you." I laugh.

"You wouldn't dare." Rebecca says.

"She already did in front of me."

Why.

I didn't think she would tell anybody but of course she did.

"You kissed Randy!?!" Ivory shouts.

"Not so loud Ivory. But yes I did."

Way more than that if you count when he used the art of love on me.

"Why didn't you tell us? I'm so jealous girl. What was it like?" Rebecca asks.

"Well....it was...umm...I can't really explain it." I say.

"To magical to explain." Nichelle giggles.

"That's cute. I totally ship you guys." Ivory says.

"Randelle for the win am I right?" Nichelle says.

"Totally." Rebecca says.

"Justin you haven't said anything this whole time what's wrong? Is it cause we're talking about crushes?" I laugh.

"Well...what else am I supposed to say? When your talking about my friend and Richelle kissing?" Justin says.

"You mean Randy?" Nichelle asks.

"Oh shoot I forgot...Yeah...but I have to go to the park to uhh..."

"It's fine you can go Justin. Have fun with Rachel." Rebecca says and Justin glares at her while blushing.

"What a minute? Justin has a girlfriend?" I ask.

"We are not dating." Justin says.

"Yet." Rebecca winks at Justin.

"Well I better go." Justin literally takes his food and runs out of the restaurant.

Isn't there a girl named Rachel in the band?

"So he's dating Rachel? As in Rachel the band geek?" I ask.

"Yeah. I think they're cute together. Rachel's so sweet and cute, and Justin rude and...ugly." Rebecca says.

I giggle a bit.

"Opposites attract." Nichelle smirks at me.

"Don't even start." I roll my eyes.

"Alex! What was that? You broke the stove! Again?!?" Charlie yells.

Wait a honking minute. Why is Charlie...the owner of the restaurant here? He's never at his restaurant.

Maybe he's doing inspection or something.

"I'm sorry sir I didn't mean to-" Alex starts.

"This was your second chance Alex and you just blew it! Your fired! Get out of my restaurant!" Charlie yells.

Alex rips his apron off and walks out angrily.

"Just great...now I have to train a new employee, and for the third time this month?" Charlie talks to himself.

"How's your chance Richelle." Nichelle whispers.

She pushes me off of the seat and I walk up to Charlie.

"Umm sir...I saw what happened and I was wondering if I could work here. Since Alex got fired and all..."

"Give me your name, age, hours you'll be able to work and why you want to work here."

"Richelle Nom. 15. 3:30pm to 12:00am. The answer to the last one...I want money duh." I say.

"Great your hired. You start tomorrow at 5 for training." He says then walk away.

He must have been really angry or stressed to hire me like that.

I mean, who would want to hire me? Him apparently...

Hopefully Randy doesn't show up when I'm working.

I probably just jinxed it just you know...
