If you are a child, or have depression, you probably shouldn't read this, but I doubt that would stop you.
I also have to warn you that your main character is not well written. I am not very good right now, and this probably isn't the best that I can do.
The current excuse is that he's kind of insane after a tragic event that he was the cause of. His emotions are all over the place, he goes back on what he says, but he has a goal: to stop a repeat of his mistakes.
