Chapter 4

Tossing and turning in bed, I felt some sun on my face. Sighing I sat up and stretched. I looked around my room, trying to remember when I came in here. Then I remembered what happened last night. I checked my neck for the marks but they weren’t any. I looked around and Jazz was lying next to me smiling. “Hey April. You ok?”

I nodded and my stomach growled loudly. I laughed and he did too. “Let’s go ask ‘Master’ if we can eat.”

I nodded and noticed we haven’t eaten since we were first kidnapped. I guess this man is trying to kill me. I sighed and took a shower. When I was done I dressed into a tank top and mini skirt. I don’t feel like dressing in the maid outfit. “Come on Jazz. Let’s get going now before I faint… again.”

We left the room and Austin was still in bed sleeping. The sun was slowly rising so it had to be around 8:15. I opened the curtains and yanked the sheets off of him. He groaned and pulled the sheets back. “Get up lazy ass. You have to get up right now.  Jazz and I need nourishment. Do you want me to bring you up anything?”

Instead of actually getting up, he rolled over and slapped me across my face. I could feel a warm liquid dropping down my face so I decided to show him the same courtesy and tip the mattress over. Jazz shifted behind me into a horse and I jumped onto his back. We bolted out the door before Austin had time to realize what happened. I only laughed and steered Jazz to the servant’s area. I jumped off his back and tackled Hannah, Lily and Keri.

“I missed you guys so much. Now hide me and Jasper.”

Hannah laughed. “What did you do April? And what are you wearing?”

“He made me wear this crap. And if you think this is bad, then you should take a look at the rest of the things in my closet. Oh and the reason why I’m running is because I tipped Austin’s mattress over. But he slapped me in his sleep so I had to. Now hide me. And pack me some food please.”

The girls laughed but hid me in a closet with food and Jasper in his human form. “I can’t believe you got me into this April. You’re in so much trouble.”

I felt him shift again and he turned into a mouse so he can sneak through the crack. I glared at him as he disappeared. I began to pick at my food until I heard a loud crash

“WHERE IS SHE?” I heard Austin shout to the girls.

“Where’s who?” Keri asked playing dumb even though I knew she was scared. I could hear it in her voice.

“Do you think I’m stupid? I know she’s here. This is the only place she knows of and I can smell her. APRIL COME OUT HERE NOW. IF NOT YOU WILL BE HUNTED.”

I sighed and stepped out of the closet. I kept my head low and just as Austin was about to strangle me Tony, James, and Justin stepped in. They all looked at me (probably because of my outfit) then turned to Austin.

“Austin. Why is she wearing that outfit?” Tony asked as he pulled me to him.

“I chose her clothes for her. She doesn’t know of her purpose yet so why should I give up my opportunity to have control over her?”

“Well Austin. We told our girls so you must tell her. But you have lost that chance so I will tell her myself.” He turned to me and I was very confused. Before he could start Hannah screamed when she saw a mouse. Before someone could step on it I picked it up.

“Change Jazz.”

He changed in my hands and I set him down so he could finish. When he was done he looked toward the girls. “Sorry. I didn’t want to be in the closet with April when Austin came for her. I had to escape so I didn’t get hurt.”

“You’re such a wimp Jazz. You left me to get attacked.”

“Enough.” Tony shouted. “April. We told you that you were supposed to be a slave but you are actually our future brides. That’s why Austin was reluctant to having you. He was supposed to tell you yesterday. What happened?”

“Well let’s see… I was sent to my room which is located in his room, I made his bath and this weird chick was talking about me in my outfit. I thought she was rude. Oh and he drank from me.”

“Austin. You are not to drink from her unless it is an emergency.”

Austin shrugged his shoulders. “Well I wanted to have some fun with her before I tell her. Is that wrong? Remember I have to stubborn one. I also have the loud mouth. She is with the shifter not me.”

Jazz and I looked at each other and laughed. “We’re not together. He’s my best friend. We’ve been though a lot of things together and he helped me when my parents died. He’s my brother in every way except by blood. I love him.”

“But I was told that you two were a couple.” Austin said as he walked toward me. “I was told that you were close and could not be separated or you would die.” I rolled my eyes and looked toward Jasper. He laughed at the stupidity of this person.

“Well that person is kind of right. Jasper and I are bound to each other. I saw that he was hurt one day before my parents died and I took care of him. My parents wouldn’t let him stay but I kept him in the attic. We became good friends then he told me his secret. I was happy because my parents told me that I could have a puppy and he changed into one. We kiss but it’s usually just so he can make me happy. I’m either pissed off or upset. So you need to calm down. He’s has his interests and I have mine.”

Austin’s tension lowered and I smiled at him. “Well April. Go to your room and I’ll be sure to come up with you.”

“Can I talk to the girls first and eat? I’m hungry.” I said as I rubbed my stomach.

“Very well. Bring up a slave on your way up. I’m thirsty. And since I can’t drink from you I have to take a lot from her. Your blood is delicious and a great temptation.”

I nodded and turned to the girls and Jasper. We all sat down on the couch and started talking about random stuff as the vampires left to give us a little bit of privacy. Who would think that the four of us would be stuck marrying four vampires. And Jazz… well I’m not sure what’s in store for him.

I was about to leave until this girl who looked like the four vampires, but younger, stepped in. She went to Jazz, pulled him to her, and left the room. Who the fuck is she and what the fuck does she think she’s doing?
