Chapter 19

Chapter 19

April's POV

"I don't think we should remind her again." I heard someone say from above me.

"Don't you think she has a right to know?" Another argued.

"Well if we tell her again she'll probably lose it. I'm not testing that." A third voice said.

What's going on? Why can't I open my eyes and what are they talking about?

Voice Two- "Well She needs to know. I will tell her myself if you don't."

Voices One and Three- "You can't do that. She'll snap."

Voice Two- "I don't care. She needs to know she has a sister and her sister may be trying to capture her."

Now this is pissing me off. I focused all of my energy on waking up. I opened my eyes and saw Jenna, Jasper, and Austin. Oh great. He's here too. "I would ask why you're here but there are other things to discuss. Like why you two were trying to hide my sister from me after I found out and who the hell dressed me in this ugly white dress."

"Jasper put it on you. And we both though it wouldn't be wise to tell you. You passed out the first time you were told of her. We just thought it'd be better to tell you a little later."

"I have the right to know as soon as possible. I have a right to know that my alleged twin sister is the one who wants to hunt me down and hand me over to a man that wants to control my life with his freaky powers. How would I not want to know that?" My powers circulated through me. How dare they try and keep things from me? How dare they think that I would not find out again?

"April please calm down. You're turning yellow and orange. If you turn any darker then you may as well burst into a pile of magical dust. Please calm down." Jenna pleaded.

"You should have thought of that before. How dare you?" I screamed. Before I could yell any further I was pulled into someone's arms and kissed aggressively. What the hell? I tried to pull away from the person but I could feel myself slowly giving in to this person's lips. My nerves calmed and my senses came back clear. The person pulled away and I looked into the eyes of Austin.

"Well I like the ways of calming you down. You should get angry more often." He smirked.

Even though I felt mad at the moment, I couldn't find myself to pull out of his arms. I snuggled deep into his chest and rested there. "You feel nice."

I felt his laugh deep in his chest as he kissed my forehead. "You feel good too baby."

Jenna looked at us with a small smile. "It's nice to know that he's your Mutual."

"My what?"

"Mutual. He's the one that with a single touch can ease your Witch Lust. Not many witches can find them. You're becoming a better and stronger witch." Jenna smiled.

"Oh okay. And I'm sorry for snapping at you guys. I didn't realize how much of a bitch I was being."

"It's understandable. You have every right to. All witches have these temper problems when they first learn how to control your powers." Jenna explained.

"Well you still deserve an apology. You don't deserve to be treated like crap. You're only trying to help me survive."

"But it really isn't your fault. It happens. Now how are you feeling?"

"I'm fine. Can we just get back to work? I think I can get the levitating thing down now."

"If you want to we can get back to it right away. But I would like for you to eases your powers. You may end up passing out again if you don't take it easy."

"I'll make sure to limit how much power she uses." Austin said as he stood up, carrying me bridal style.

"I'll limit my powers okay. But I don't need you to carry me around." I whined.

"But you may collapse if I don't hold you. So just let me carry you and then I'll let you train. But if I don't carry you then I'll keep getting in your way."

I huffed and crossed my arms. Well this sucks. "Fine you can carry me but once we get outside you set me down."

"Whatever you say April. Whatever you say." Austin chuckled as we left the room.

 Marissa’s POV

It's her. The witch he wants is my twin sister. The sister that was taken to the human realm known as Earth. She’s actually here.

I was told that we were separated. I was raised by two vampires that held the power of magic. My conduits were already with them. But I've now found my sister and I know I can't turn her over to Victor. I'm immune to his power either way.

I left the small office I was in and made my way toward Victor's large one. I know he's talking to people about finding my sister.

"I don’t care who you have to kill. Just find my witch." He yelled.

"You're not going to get her Victor." I said as I entered the room. He looked up at me and glared. "I'll call you back. It seems as though I have a problem in my own office." He turned toward me and hung up the phone. "What can I help you with today? Have you found my bride?"

"I'm not helping you. I quit. April is my sister and I will not let her fall into your hands."

He growled and got up from the table. "I don't care. She is mine. You were willing to help me before. Why does her being your sister change anything?"

"Because she is my flesh and blood. We shared a womb before your parents had our parents killed for having more than one child. I only work for you because of my surroundings. I feel protected but I know I'm still at risk from you. But I can assure you that I will never give up my sister to you. She shielded her powers wherever she is anyway."

"Well it won't matter. We believe that we've found her scent. It's faint but we should have her by tomorrow. You are dismissed."

I glared but left the room, knowing I would be killed for standing in his way. But I know that I can get to her first and warn her of her upcoming threat.

When I reached my room I saw my conduits Michael and Mary waiting for me. "I'm going to do a cloaking spell. I need to visit my sister and warn her."

"What if the prince catches you? He will not appreciate your betrayal. He may kill you." Mary warned.

"I know but blood is thicker than water and I will save my sister from this fate. Now let's go."
