A few days later

Storm's POV

I watch Naruto get pulled into a mine area and blow up, I laugh. Then after that dog walking mission, we get litter control, I go to the farthest side of the river since I'm the one with shorts on and the right type of ninja shoes. I stand next to the water fall gathering all the trash that comes my way, including, Naruto and Sasuke.

"You idiots." I say to them.

"Don't you dare drop us." Sasuke says to me.

I roll my eyes and I plant my foot down, I turn and throw them to shore. "Morons."

"You could have just pulled us up you know." Sasuke says through gritted teeth.

"Where's the fun in that?" I ask him.

After we finish picking up the trash, we get sent on a weeding job and I pick the right ones out of the ground while Naruto destroys the Lady's garden.

"I'm sorry Ma'am, my teammate is an idiot." I say to her with a bow of apology as I push Naruto down.

Then by the time we finish our D-Ranks I've had enough with the Banshee, the Emo and the Loud Mouth.

"See ya." I say to them.

"Where do you think your going?" Sasuke asks me.

I look at him. "I'm gonna do what I want to do now. Our missions for today are over so now I get the rest of the day off, do you have a problem with that?" I ask him.

Sasuke rolls his eyes and Sakura hits me on the head.

"How dare you talk to Sasuke-Kun like that." Sakura says to me.

I turn around and I start walking. "Yeah, yeah, I'll do what I want now. So why don't you leave me alone, having to save your guy's butts today was a pain." I say to them.

"No one asked you to." Sakura says to me.

"Then I could have just let my team get injured and I'd be doing the missions alone, I know I can do them myself but what's the point when we're supposed to be a team using Teamwork. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going now." I say to them and I run down the streets, I see Shikamaru and Choji wandering around so I decide to start walking next to them.

"Hello Storm." Choji says to me while eating a bag of chips.

"Let me guess, you've had enough of your team already?" Shikamaru asks and then looks up at the sky. "Its only noon."

"I've been saving them all morning, give me a break." I say sulking.

Shikamaru pats my head. "There, there, little puppy." 

Choji watches amused since this happens a lot.

I see something following me out of the corner of my eye. I pull out a kunai and I throw it next to the box.

"That is the worst disguise I have ever seen." I say as Moegi, Udon and Konohamaru come out of the box.

"Where's Naruto?" Konohamaru asks me.

I point the way I came. "Last saw my team that way." 

"THANKS." They yell running off.

"What am I gonna do when I start growing grey hair's because of my team and those three?" I ask.

"Dye your hair." Choji says to me.

"I figure that out once I get to that." I say to them.

"Your avoiding the problem." Shikamaru says to me.

"I just don't feel like confronting it right now." I say to him with a shrug.

"Well do you want to come over tonight for dinner? Mom's been nagging me to ask you." Shikamaru asks me.

"Mom's probably just worried, I haven't been in the village for like 2 months." I say to him.

Shikamaru nods. "I told her that."

"Alright, but Shikamaru, you have to teach me Shogi. I still don't get it." I say to him.

"What a drag." Shikamaru says and Choji laughs.

I roll my eyes.

Me, Shikamaru and Choji hang out for a bit until I have to leave.

"See ya, I'll be by in about an hour or so Shikamaru." I say to them.

"Alright." Shikamaru says and he and Choji walk off.

I walk to where I hear commotion and I see Konohamaru getting held up by his scarft.

"You, you let him go." I say to the guy in an annoyed tone.

"Why? You don't have the right to tell me what to do." The boy in a cat costume says to me with a cocky smirk.

"Let him go, your in my village, you don't get to hurt someone I call family unless they've done wrong and the Hokage approves of it." I say to him as I reach for my kunai pouches.

Cat boy smirks at me. "Do you have proof I did this?"

I point to Sakura, Naruto, Moegi and Udon. "Witnesses. And my teammates and Konohamaru's friends." I say to him.

"They're just mere kids, they won't be taken seriously. How about some real proof." Cat boy asks me as his smirk widens.

I raise an eyebrow. "Anyone in this village would believe one of their own, unless its Naruto, who's practically terrorized the village with pranks and other stuff, not the point, let my little bro go or I'm gonna pound you." I say to him as my eye twitches in annoyance.

Konohamaru shrinks back slightly and so does Sakura, Naruto, Moegi and Udon.

"Your scared of this chick? She doesn't look like she can do anything." Cat boy says with a smirk.

I growl. "Your testing my patience."

Sasuke throws a stone at Kankuro's hand and he drops Konohamaru.

Konohamaru runs over to me sniffling. "That guy scared me."

I bend down and place a hand on his head with a smile. "Don't worry, if he tries that again, go to Gramps and he'll take care of it, I promise." I say to him.

Konohamaru nods then grins at Moegi and Udon. They run off.

I stand up and my aura starts to come alive and Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura step about 30 feet back.

"Why does this feel like facing up to Gaara?" Cat boy asks stepping back afraid.

I cool it. "Next time you even think of laying a hand on my comrades when it doesn't include legal fighting, I will personally break the bones in your body with out a second thought." I say to him.

"That's enough Kankuro, stop or I'll kill you."

I look up to see a boy with red hair and a lot of eyeliner. "Why would you kill your own comrades? That's sick, I don't know who you are, but your weird, almost like me. Meh, I don't care, see ya." I turn around and start walking.

"THAT'S IT?" Naruto and Sakura yell.

"Yeah, I'm heading over to Shikamaru's for dinner." I say to them as I place my hands in my pockets.

"What's your name?" The red head asks me.

I look back at him with a calm stare and he notices my Storm blue eyes. "That's none of your business. Now run along, I already know why your here so go see Gramps." I say waving him off.

Sand wraps around my waist preventing me from moving.

I take a kunai out and I hold it to the red heads neck. "I don't like being held captive, let me go." I say with a small growl in my voice.

"Name." The red head says to me.

I break my kunai in half and everyone's eyes widen. "Find it out yourself. I have no intention of saying. I don't have any patience left. Now let me go." I say to him annoyed.

The sand drops and I step over it.

I realize what I did and I look at my kunai. "Damn, oh well." I put the pieces in my pouch. I then turn to the red head. "I'm sorry for the rudeness, according to everyone, I'm Tsundere. I just don't care about a lot of things." I say to him with a small bow of apology.

"She's so weird. Why were we placed with her?" Sakura asks.

I roll my eyes. "Gramps already explained why, now stop bothering me, there's a reason why we get the rest of the day off, to relax and you aren't letting me relax." I say to them slightly annoyed.

"Your the one always finding us." Sasuke says to me.

"Do you think I planned this? No I was just walking to where I heard commotion. These three are from the Sand, they're here for the Chunin Exams, and they haven't seen Gramps yet." I say to them.

The blonde girl looks at me curious. "Your speaking to your team like that?"

"Its the only way to get a point across." I say to her with a wave of my hand and I continue walking.

Sakura hits me on the head a few times. "How dare you talk to Sasuke-Kun like that."

I scowl at her. "I have so many colorful words to say to you, I would say them, but then Kakashi-Sensei and Gramps would punish me, big time, so I'll just stick to saying them in my head for now." I say to her.

Sakura glares at me. "Just leave."

"I'll leave when I want to. And that happens to be right now, stupid banshee." I mutter the last part.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?" Sakura yells angry.

"I called you a stupid banshee." I say with a smirk.

"Do you guys have to fight right now?" Sasuke asks.

"No of course not Sasuke-Kun." Sakura says running to his side.

I roll my eyes. "Ja ne." I jump up into a tree and onto the roofs. I run to the Nara compound and jump down in front of it. The guards roll their eyes and let me in.

I walk to Shikamaru's house and I knock.

Shikamaru opens the door and lets me in. "Your late."

"That's my teams fault." I say to him as we walk and sit in the living room.

Shikamaru teaches me Shogi until dinner.

"Your getting better." Shikamaru says with a smirk.

"Dinner's ready."

"Ya think so?" I ask Shikamaru.

"Dinners ready."

"Yeah, by the time you learn the rest of Shogi we could possibly be tied." Shikamaru says smirking, then pales.

"I SAID DINNERS READY."

I freeze. "Hi Mom." I say to her.

"Oh Storm, your here, I didn't think Shikamaru asked you yet." Mom says to me calming down.

"Yes he asked me." I say to her.

"Well come on, dinners ready." Mom says to me.

Me and Shikamaru get up and walk to the table.

"Hi Dad." Me and Shikamaru say with a small wave as we sit down.

"Hello children." Dad says to us.

This is normal, I've been calling them Mom and Dad for a long while. They've been my parental figures.

Food gets placed in front of us, we say Grace and we eat.

"I've missed your cooking Mom." I say to her with a smile.

I only smile around people I can trust. 

Mom smiles at me. "Well, finish your food, there's dessert." 

"Mom, you spoil her to much." Shikamaru says to her.

"I spoil all of you." Mom says with a smile.

We finish eating and the dessert gets brought out. Its a fresh apple pie with cinnamon on the top and flaky crust with warm apple filling.

We all have a piece.

The Next Day

I stand at Team 7's meeting spot early.

"Why am I here so early?" I ask myself. "Oh right, I got up early and did my usual routine, usually that makes me late, but nope, today I'm early." I groan and lean against the bridge annoyed.

After a while, the emo, the banshee and the loud mouth get here.

"Your on time. That's unusual." Sakura says to me.

"I've been here for an hour, I got up too early today." I say to her.

Kakashi appears in front of us after a while. "I know this is sudden but I recommended you guys for the Chunin Exams, and Storm, you'll have to take it alone, only teams of three and lower, I figured you could handle it since your strong." Kakashi says to us.

"Alright." I say to him with a shrug and I take the paper he hands to me. "If that all I'm gonna go fill this out."

"Be at the academy at four." Kakashi says to us and poofs away.

"I'm doing the exams." I say to them with a shrug.

"Your not even gonna think about it?" Sakura asks me.

I shake my head. "If Kakashi-Sensei recommended us, then that means we're ready to take the exams, he wouldn't let us enter if we weren't. I have trust in our Sensei." I say to her as I walk down the bridge.

I get back to my apartment and I sit at my kitchen counter filling out the form. I eat lunch then I head to the academy. I register myself and I walk up to the second floor to see a lot of commotion.

"Why is there such a fuss up here?" I ask walking to the front of the group.

"They won't let us get into the room we're supposed to be in." A Genin from the rain village says to me.

I place my hands together. "Release." The Gen Jutsu wears off for me. "Alright, let me pass."

"Not a chance, a girl like you wouldn't last a second in there." One of the guys that's blocking the door, says with a smirk.

My eye twitches and all the Leaf Genin step back. "I said let me pass you morons." I say to them.

They pale but stand there grounds. 

I kick them in the face and I walk up to the third floor. I walk into the room and I stand against the wall annoyed, with an annoyed aura being given off of me.

All the guys in the room look at me.

I open my eyes and they all get hearts in their eyes.

"Storm?" 

"Where?" Everyone but me asks.

My eye twitches. "My name is Storm. Anyways who was that?" I ask looking around.

Kiba, Shino and Hinata walk up to me.

"Oh hey Kiba, Shino, Hinata." I say to them.

Akamaru barks.

"I didn't forget about you Akamaru." I say to him.

Akamaru jumps on my head and Kiba looks betrayed.

"Akamaru." Kiba says and he barks and jumps back on Kiba's head.

"Where's your team?" Shino asks me.

"Those morons are mulling over their decision to come or not. I'm doing the exams solo." I say to him.

The door opens after a while and in comes Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura.

"SASUKE, I MISSED YOU." Ino says jumping on his back with a smile.

I mock them as Ino and Sakura fight, they look at me and I act as if I was doing nothing, they go back and I continue to mock them.

"Rookie ten is all here, awesome." Kiba says with a grin.

Naruto yells something and I roll my eyes as everyone in the room glares at us, except me, for the boys anyway.

A white haired guy walks over and I immediately reach for my kunai pouches since I don't like his intent.

"Relax. I'm not here to fight." The white haired guy says to me. "I'm Kabuto Yakushi."

I eye him suspiciously and I go back to what I was doing and that was leaning against a wall annoyed.

I listen to Sasuke list off some names.

"Gaara of the desert, Rock Lee and Storm." Sasuke says to Kabuto.

I growl lowly. "Wow, no trust at all." I say to him.

"Your a mystery for everyone, they'd all like to know anyway." Sasuke says with a smirk.

"Well I guess everyone would like to know about a certain Uchiha and his tricks, right?" I ask him.

Sasuke scowls at me. "I get your point. Never mind on Storm." 

The Kabuto guy gets attacked after a few minutes and Ibiki appears.
