A few days later

Storms POV

I punch a tree as Naruto works on a new Jutsu that Jiraiya's teaching him.

I get tapped on the shoulder. 

"Why are you beating up a tree?" Jiraiya asks me.

"Because I have nothing better to do. My training grounds back at home were made especially for my Kekkie Genkai and my fighting style." I say to him and the tree falls over.

"Your not as strong as Tsunade." Jiraiya says to him.

I punch the ground and it shakes like an earthquake then crumbles under a mass of tree's. 

"I take that back." Jiraiya says and looks at my work.

I roll my eyes and I sit on a branch in a tree nearby.

After a while we set off with Naruto still training.

"Hey Jiraiya, hand me one of those water balloons." I say to him.

Jiraiya looks at me confused but hands one to me any way. "Are you gonna try attempting this Jutsu?" Jiraiya asks me.

I flow my chakra into it and it spikes all over but doesn't do anything else. "If I tried, I would probably fail, even though my Shadow Style has wind and earth chakra in it." I say to him.

"And your point is?" Jiraiya asks.

"If the fourth Hokage came up and was able to use this Jutsu successfully in three years, then how is Naruto supposed to learn it in 3 weeks?" I ask him.

"He can do it." Jiraiya says to me.

I flow wind chakra into the water balloon and it spikes then pops and the water splashes Jiraiya in the face.

"Seems you we're able to pop it just fine." Jiraiya mutters.

I step back a few paces and Jiraiya and Naruto look at me confused. "This is why." I make the Chidori in my palm. "Chidori is a lightning affinity based Jutsu. I acquired the lightning affinity a while ago. Naruto since he's learning the Fourth's Jutsu and Sasuke who learned Kakashi-Sensei's Jutsu, would both be jealous." I say to him and Jiraiya nods in understanding.

A week or so later

I watch Naruto work on the ball.

"Storm, aren't you gonna do anything?" Naruto asks me.

"Hey look what I brought." Jiraiya says pulling out two popsicles.

I roll my eyes slightly amused. "No Naruto, I'm not gonna attempt the Jutsu and if I we're to train, the forest would probably be filled with shadow weapons." I say to him.

Jiraiya hands me a Popsicle after he breaks off half for himself and he hands a half of a Popsicle to Naruto and has the other half.

"Well, I'm going back." Jiraiya says to us.

"Could you, um, ya know, stay and watch?" Naruto asks him.

"I told you, you have to figure the Jutsu out yourself." Jiraiya says to him.

"Haha, yeah, I know, don't worry about it, I got this." Naruto says putting up a façade of happiness.

I look at Naruto with knowing eyes and Jiraiya nods and leaves.

"Storm, do you have anyone who you know you have a connection somehow with?" Naruto asks me.

I shake my head. "Just Gramps, but that's because he was the one who looked after me for most of my childhood, just like he did you." I say to him.

Naruto looks back at his balloon. "Well I think that unknown connection that I have is to Pervy Sage." Naruto says to me then gets back to training.

I watch him.

Maybe Kisame was right when he said that I'm just a scared little girl who can't find the right path to walk down. 

Naruto pops the balloon and that snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Huh?" I ask and Naruto grins at me.

"I did it!" Naruto yells then passes out.

I catch him and I lay him on the ground. "Over use of chakra, reckless moron." I say and I sit up against a tree next to him.

The next morning someone shakes me.

I open my eyes to see Naruto grinning at me. 

"Your awake, good." Naruto says full of energy.

I look at the sky to see its about 8 am. "Hey Naruto?" I ask him and he looks at me confused.

"Yeah?" He answers.

"Nothing, never mind, how's your hand and chakra supply?" I ask him.

"They're fine." Naruto says to me and gets up. "In fact, I could on to the next step and pass it." Naruto says with a grin.

I get up. "Alright, why don't you use some of that energy to spar with me?" I ask him with a smirk.

"Really?" Naruto asks me shocked.

"No Jutsu, that means no Rasengan and no clones. This is Tai-Jutsu." I say to him.

"ALRIGHT." Naruto yells full of energy.

I'm a Genin of the Leaf, I'll make Chunin and then Jonin, I'll do in the next three years, then I can find out about my parents and who they were.

We get in tai Jutsu positions and we spar for a while before Jiraiya walks up.

"Hey, what's going on here?" Jiraiya asks looking at our wrestling position on the ground.

"Training." Me and Naruto say quickly and we get up off the ground.

"Uh huh, well Naruto, did you get any progress?" Jiraiya asks him.

I toss Naruto a ball and he flows his chakra into it and it pops. 

"Well then, its time to move on to the next step, move your chakra around like you've been doing but don't let it get bumpy and don't let it pop." Jiraiya says tossing a balloon at him.

We leave to a gambling city while Naruto practices the Jutsu.

I hear a crash and I run towards it.

"Wha? STORM, WAIT UP." Jiraiya and Naruto yell and run after me.

I pull out two kunai and shuriken and I look around with my senses alert. I get to the place where I heard the crash and I see Orochimaru.

"You." I say to him and a blonde woman with a green coat on looks at me.

"Oh, if it isn't Storm." Kabuto says walking up to me.

I keep myself calm. "You rotten, dirty, son's of bitches." I say to the pair.

"Now is that any way to greet someone?" Kabuto asks with a smirk.

"Fine, hello you rotten, dirty, sons of bitches." I say to them.

"That's better." Kabuto says to me and then knocks the weapons out of my hands. "Now, why don't a girl like you come train with us?" Kabuto asks with a smirk.

I growl. "Bastard." I kick him in the balls and he doubles over in pain.

I jump back a few paces and I pull out two kunai in my right hand.

"Who are you?" The blonde woman asks me shocked.

I tch at Kabuto as he gets up unaffected. 

"You'll have to try harder than that to hurt me." Kabuto says walking towards me.

Orochimaru watches us. "You know, Storm, if you come with us, I can tell you anything you want about your parents or your last name." Orochimaru says to me with a smirk.

My eyes widen slightly and Kabuto takes that chance to grab my chin with a smirk on his face.

I growl and I kick him in the stomach and he flies back into the wall. "Get away from me bastard." I say to him.

The blonde and I guess her student look at me shocked.

"Lay one hand on me again and I break every bone in your body." I say to him as I stand up straight.

I watch as Orochimaru and Kabuto retreat.

I calm myself and I turn to walk away.

"Wait." The blonde says to me.

I look back at her. "Yes?" I ask.

"Come with us. I'm Tsunade Senju this is my student Shizune." The blonde says to me.

"I'm Storm, a Genin of the Leaf Village a student under the Third Hokage, but that was when I was in the academy, now I'm a student under Kakashi Hatake." I say to her with a slight nod of my head and I turn to follow her.

"Really? A Genin? With your skills you look like a Chunin maybe Jonin." Tsunade says to me shocked.

I nod. "The Chunin Exams were interrupted by Orochimaru so no one got to finish the last part of the exam." I say to her and we sit in a bar.

Tsunade drinks while I sit there playing with my kunai and Shizune watches.

"I wish there was a dart board." I say and I look around not seeing one.

"So what do you specialize in Storm?" Shizune asks me.

"Weapon combat." I say to her. I think for a second. "I feel like I'm forgetting something." I tap my chin thinking. 

After a while the doors open.

"TSUNADE?"

"JIRAIYA?" Tsunade yells.

"That's what I was forgetting, Jiraiya and Naruto." I say and Jiraiya and Naruto fall at my words while Tsunade and Shizune laugh.

"How could you forget about us?" Naruto whines as he runs over to me.

"It wasn't that hard." I say to him with a shrug.

"But I'm your teammate though." Naruto whines.

I roll my eyes. "Uh huh." I say to him and I go back to playing with my kunai.

Jiraiya and Tsunade talk about the Hokage business while I hold a kunai to Naruto's neck, threatening that if he talks I'll hurt him, seems to be doing the trick because he's being quiet.

"Storm, would you stop holding a kunai to Naruto's neck?" Jiraiya asks looking at us.

"I don't need him making me deaf." I say to Jiraiya and I pull down my kunai.

I count to three in my head after Tsunade says she doesn't want to be Hokage.

Naruto yells and I cover my ears just in time.

Next thing I know, I'm the referee for Naruto and Tsunade's fight.

Wait, why am I the referee? What the hell even happened? I'm confused, what's even going on here?

"Alexis, start already." Naruto says to me irritated.

"U-uh, o-oh right, um Start." I say snapping out of my thoughts.

I jump back as they fight. I land next to the wall and I watch their fight.

Naruto creates an unfinished Rasengan and Lady Tsunade flicks him into the ground.

"Tsunade wins." I say and run over to Naruto. "Your such a moron." I say to him

"What did I do?" Naruto asks.

"That Rasengan was unfinished you idiot. Your lucky I'm trying to be nice to people other wise I would have called you a dumbass already." I say to him and a name comes to my mind. "Assbutt, yess, now I have a name to call that fish guy if he attacks again." I grin to myself and everyone looks at me as if I were crazy, I probably am. "What? He attacked out of nowhere and caught me off guard, I have something to catch him off guard with next time." I say to them with a shrug.

"Your train of thought went off the rails, where are you even going?" Jiraiya asks me.

"Hmm, I have no idea." I say to him and he falls and Naruto and Tsunade make a bet and I get dragged to a hotel by Naruto.

"Why am I being dragged?" I ask.

"Your gonna help me train." Naruto says to me as he drags me to our hotel room.

"I'll watch you train." I say to him and Naruto just nods and we sit in our hotel room.

I lean back against the wall and a knock sounds on the door after a while.

Naruto answers and Shizune walks in.

Shizune explains why the Necklace that Tsunade wears is important and Naruto goes to sleep, Shizune looks at me.

I tilt my head thinking. "Honestly, my opinion on this really doesn't count, I'm not the one who made the bet so I have no right to interfere." I say to her and she looks at me crestfallen. "Shizune, if what you say about that necklace being cursed is true? Then Naruto won't die anyway, his dream is to become Hokage and he won't die before that, those incidents were just coincidence's, Nawaki, Tsunade's little brother had to go into war to defend the village, he didn't come out alive because he was reckless and went ahead of his team instead of staying with in the group, am I correct?" I ask her.

"Well, yes." Shizune says to me unsure.

"And Dan, he was protecting his squad right? Most squad leaders die protecting their team just to make sure that their team gets out alive and to their village safely. Am I correct?" I ask Shizune.

"Yes you are correct, but"

"Shizune, the reason Tsunade is still alive and wearing the necklace is because she's not a reckless idiot, she thinks before she acts and she doesn't leave her team behind. Am I correct?" I ask her.

"Yes. But Lady Tsunade wears the necklace to keep her memories close." Shizune says to me.

"If you ask me, living in the past isn't a good way to live in the present, I don't live in my past because if I do, I won't find anything out about who my family was or what they were like if I live in my past. The only thing to do is to move forward and conquer obstacle's that block your path. Its one thing to cling onto something from the past and keep it as a keep sake, its another to constantly remind yourself of your past by holding onto something." I say to her and Shizune's eyes widen.

"Your too young to know this stuff so how do you?" Shizune asks me.

"I grew up with out parents, the village didn't like me at all, Gramps or the Third Hokage, whatever you want to call him, was the only one to look after me during my childhood and taught me for a year, one on one while I was in the academy." I say to her and Shizune's eyes stay widened. "When he died, it hit home, he promised to stay and his memories did, I don't cling to the past but I will remember it so that I can be ready for the future." 

Shizune clears her throat and stands up. "Well I have to get back to Lady Tsunade before she gets angry that I was gone for so long." Shizune says and walks towards the door.

"Shizune, I'd appreciate if you didn't tell anyone what I said." I say to her and she looks at me shocked.

"Why?" Shizune asks.

I shake my head. "Its nothing that nobody needs to know." I say to her and frowns walks out of the room.

I fall asleep slowly as I look out the window into the starry night.
