Storm's POV

I run home and I hug Mom. "Mom." I complain and Mom looks at me confused.

"Storm?" Mom asks.

"I have never been so happy to be in my time zone." I say as I glance at the Hokage monuments to see Tsunade's head up there.

"I think your delirious. Go to your room and get some rest." Mom says to me.

"Ok." I say and walk to my room. I fall on my bed and I hear a chuckle from the door. I look over to see Shikamaru.

I'm home. Good.

"So, I take it your mission was long?" Shikamaru asks.

I nod. "Too long." I say to him and Shikamaru sits down next to me and pats my head.

"There, there little puppy. Your home now." Shikamaru says to me.

"Yay." I say and faceplant my face into my pillow and I sigh in content.

"Well? Wanna do something?" Shikamaru asks.

I sit up. "Yeah. I need to see something anyways." I say to him and Shikamaru nods.

We walk around the village and I find the area where I saw James and helped him, only to see he's not there. We turn the corner to Ichiraku's and I don't see Yoru.

"Hey Storm, why are we here?" Shikamaru asks.

"I had a really weird dream. I was just making sure that I knew this is reality. My dreams get too life like sometimes." I say to him and Shikamaru nods.

"Well since we're here, why don't we grab a bite to eat?" Shikamaru suggests.

I nod and we walk in.

We eat and then leave after paying for our food.

"What a drag, this day is boring." Me and Shikamaru say, then smirk.

"Yeah, we're siblings alright." Shikamaru says and we walk around for a while longer before Choji walks up to us.

"Hey Storm, Shikamaru." Choji says to us in greeting.

"Hello Choji." We say to him.

"Woah, its like you two have the same mind." Choji says amazed.

Naruto runs up to us after a while.

"Hey Shikamaru, Choji, would either of you like to temporarily join Team Kakashi?" Naruto asks them.

"I feel like I missed something." I say as a black snake wraps around my leg. I pick it up and look at it. "Hey guys?" I ask and they look at me. "Is this real or fake?"

"Fake. The snake would have bitten you already if it was real." Shikamaru says to me in a lazy tone.

"Hmm." I squeeze it and it turns to black ink. "Seriously?" I ask and the three look at the black ink on my hand.

I look up to see a pale boy with the Foundation Uniform on.

I hear a squeal in fright and I look around but the boys don't notice anything. I run towards where I heard the squeal and I see a girl with pitch black hair being held up by shirt from a older guy with a nasty smirk. I kick the guy in the guts and I catch the girl in my arms.

"Huh?" The girl says and looks at me. "Your Storm. My idol." The girl says to me.

I look at her. "Your Kuro, the girl who came up to me a few years back, right?" I ask and she looks at me shocked.

"You remember that?" Kuro asks.

I nod and set her down. "Of course. Now where are your parents, I'll bring you back to them." I ask her.

She looks down sadly. "They died on a mission a few months ago." Kuro says to me.

I pat her head. "Come with me. I'll take you to Tsunade and we'll figure something out." I say to her and Kuro looks up at me.

"Ok." Kuro says to me and grabs my hand.

We walk to the Hokage building and walk into Tsunade's office. I see Tenzo. "Hello Tenzo." I greet him and Kuro hides behind me, scared.

Tenzo looks at me, then nods. "Storm." He greets.

"Storm? Why are you here?" Tsunade asks me.

"This girl here was attack by some creepy guy in the village, her parents died a few months back from what she told me and you need to figure this out. I'm not doing anything irresponsible today." I say to her and Tsunade smirks.

"Take her under your wing, teach her." Tsunade says to me.

"Really?" Kuro asks shocked.

"Do you know how I could accidentally corrupt this girl?" I say to her and Tenzo nods in agreement with me. "Besides, I don't think I'm that responsible to look after a student just yet, and what about Team Kakashi? I have two moronic idiots to keep from dying and one moronic idiot to save from Orochimaru." I say to Tsunade and Tsunade just smirks and I get a feeling of dread come over me.

"Storm, you can still do missions with Team Kakashi, and when the girl graduates in a few months, your gonna teach her and during those few months, your gonna teach her the basic stuff, like how to control chakra and what not." Tsunade says to me.

"Oh Mom is gonna kill me." I say Tenzo nods again.

"Now Storm, take her to the academy, tell Iruka, she's his new student and do not, I repeat, do not lose her." Tsunade orders me.

"Yes Ma'am." I say and walk out with Kuro next to me.

"Oh and Storm, be at Team Kakashi's meeting place in an hour." Tenzo says to me. "Also, call me Yamato, that's my new codename." Tenzo says to me.

"Uh huh." I say and walk Kuro to the academy. I walk up the flight of stairs. "I remember how Naruto was a dumbass here." I say and Kuro looks at me confused.

"Storm-Sensei, your how old?" Kuro asks.

"17 tomorrow." I say and Kuro looks at me shocked.

We get to Iruka's room and I walk in. I see Iruka and his class looking at me shocked.

"Iruka-Sensei, this is Kuro, she's your new student, orders by Tsunade and also gonna be my student when she graduates." I say to him.

"Your still as rude as ever." Iruka says and attempts to hit my head but I move to the side and he hits the wall. "But you've gotten considerably better since you graduated." Iruka says and composes himself.

I pat Kuro's head with a smile. "Alright, I most likely won't be able to pick you up because stupid Tsunade is deciding to send me on a mission with the rest of Team Kakashi, I'll have Shikamaru come get you and show you to my apartment." I say to her.

"Lady Tsunade is your Hokage, don't call her stupid." Iruka says to me.

I just shrug.

"Who is Shikamaru?" Kuro asks.

"He's my age, dark spiky hair that he wears up in a pineapple style and a Chunin of the Leaf and his parents have custody over me, so technically we're brother and sister, I don't get it but you can trust him." I say to her and Kuro nods. I look at Iruka. "Do not lose this kid, or I will personally wring your neck." I say to him with a slightly dark aura.

"Yes Ma'am." Iruka says to me as he sweats nervously.

I get up and walk to the door. "Hey kids, remember this, you all have the potential to be someone great, but that depends on the path you choose, you could be remembered as someone bad, or someone good." I say and walk out the door.

"See ya Storm-Sensei!" Kuro yells from the classroom.

I smile and walk to the meeting spot to see the pale guy. I hold him up by the front of the shirt with a serious look but he just smiles.

"I'm glad Storm is here." Naruto and Sakura say.

I look the guy in the eyes. "Who are you?" I ask him.

"My name is Sai and who are you?" Sai asks me.

I drop him and he lands on his behind. I snort and turn away from him. "Whatever."

"Storm, be nice." Tenzo says walking out from the shadows.

"Yeah, like Danzo was ever nice to me. And he's corrupting kids for this foundation originazation and killing their emotions." I say to him.

"Storm." Tenzo warns.

I roll my eyes. "Fine, my name is Storm." I say to Sai and hold out my hand.

Sai takes it and I turn on my heel and throw him far away.

"Now that's just rude." Sakura says and Naruto nods.

I smirk as he comes at me with his tanto. I block it with two kunai in one hand.

"Nice try." I say to Sai and block his kunai with my own.

"She's playing with him." Sakura says and Tenzo nods.

I look at Sai in the eyes and he flinches and looks away. I twist his weapons and they fall out of his hands then I hold Sai to the ground with a kunai to his neck.

"Storm!"

I stand up quickly and look at Tsunade. "Yes Ma'am?"

"No hurting him or Danzo will have your head." Tsunade says to me annoyed.

"Like he's ever gonna catch me. I'd have him trapped before he'd even have the chance of killing me." I say to her.

"That's not true, Lord Danzo wouldn't be easily defeated by you." Sai objects.

"Silence." I order him and he shuts up.

"Storm, be nice to him." Tsunade orders me and walks off.

I mutter incoherent words about Tsunade and I dodge Sakura's fist easily.

"Can someone please explain why we keep getting sent out on missions one after another?" I ask.

"We have to find Sasuke remember, besides you should be happy to do this many missions, when we were Genin you complained about the lack of missions we got." Sakura says to me.

"And how would you know that? You were too obsessed with Sasuke to notice that I was talking." I say to her with my arms crossed over my chest.

"I noticed things, besides you were too obsessed with your training." Sakura says to me.

"Yeah, because I had nothing better to do." I say to her.

"You could have worked on your image ya know." Sakura says to me.

"And what would that do? Credit and beauty mean nothing in the Shinobi world." I say to her.

"Now, now, don't fight." Tenzo says to us nervously.

"Oh yeah you blue eyed freak of nature?" Sakura asks me with a twisted smirk.

"Yeah, you pink haired banshee." I say to her with my own smirk and I cross my arms over my chest.

"You don't even try and guys are all over you, that's unfair. I at least try looking my best, while you? You dress like a Shinobi with weapons all over you, why do guys like that?" Sakura complains/takes her anger and frustration out on me.

"Because I be myself, not some freak who wears make up to cover their face and personality." I say to her.

"Oh no." Naruto says and covers both of our mouths. "No fighting you two, we don't have the time." Naruto says to us.

My eye twitches and Naruto hides behind Tenzo in less then a second.

Sakura scowls at me. "That's another thing, why are you so scary? You have no need to be." Sakura asks me.

"The one thing I don't want, is for people, to find out what's up here." I say pointing to my head. "The only reason I'm scary is because I emit hell itself." I say to her.

"You'd think for someone with her looks to be an angel, in reality she's a demon." Tenzo mutters and Sai just smiles nervously.

"I can hear you and thank you for the compliment." I say sarcastically.

"Now I see why you don't have any guys interested in you romantically. Your too crazy for love." Sakura says to me with a smirk.

"Hey Sakura, I have three words for you. I. Don't. Care." I say to her.

She boils with anger while I just smirk victoriously. 

"You should care, your never gonna find anyone if you just stay the way you are." Sakura says to me.

"Sakura, we are 16, hormone things get in the way sometimes, that is why I prefer to keep my nose out of my own love life for now." I say to her. "I feel like I don't want to do this mission." I say and Tenzo face palms.

"You have too." Tenzo says to me.

"Well I never asked to, I should really get a say in what missions I go on." I say and all of them just sweat drop. "What?" I say and start walking. "I'll be at the gate in an hour, I have to somehow convince Shikamaru to take Kuro to my apartment, convince Mom to not kill me, and I have to do a few other things. That's gonna be fun." I say ask I walk.

"Wha? Who's Kuro?" Sakura asks as tries to keep up with my stride.

"My student." I say and Sakura laughs then stops.

"That's not a joke." Sakura says and hits me on the head. "Why do you always get the fun stuff?"

"Fun, yeah right, I get sent out on missions, one after the other with a Banshee, and a Loud Mouth, and I have to continuously save your guys' asses, I have to pay my rent on my apartment, I get ordered around and I nearly get killed by you, I also nearly get concussions from people hitting my head all the time. Tell me, does that sound fun?" I ask her and Sakura snorts.

"You should be honored to do missions with me, I'm the actual student of Lady Tsunade." Sakura says to me.

I turn and punch her into a tree. "Stop acting like that, don't be arrogant and cocky, that's what gets a ninja killed damn it." I say to her and she growls.

"Don't talk that way to me." Sakura says to me.

I turn and start walking again while Yamato, Sai and Naruto just follow behind with Sakura running after me.

I make it to Mom and Dad's and I walk in. I grab my bag from my room and Shikamaru looks at me from the living room.

"Mission?" Shikamaru asks.

"Yeah and I need you to take a girl with pitch black hair to my apartment, her name is Kuro and Tsunade decided I should be her mentor, I can't do that at the moment because she's also sending me on a mission." I say to him and Shikamaru nods. I hand him the spare key to my apartment. "Give that to her and do not lose her." I say to Shikamaru. "She's at the academy in Iruka's class, pick her up after school ends." I say to him.

"You don't want to go on this mission do you?" Shikamaru asks me.

"Since when have I ever wanted to go on a mission?" I ask him and Shikamaru nods.

Mom stands behind me and I can feel her angered aura.

I pale and so does Shikamaru.

"Storm, where might you be going?" Mom asks me.

"Mission?" I say more like a question than a statement.

"Again?" Mom asks me.

"Not like I have a choice, Tsunade's orders." I say to her nervously.

"Uh huh." Mom says to me.

"Well look at the time, I have to go." I say and run out of the house.
