Storm's POV

"Well then, seems we've caught you Karma or should I say, Storm Senju Nara." 

I look up to see Pain there and I scowl. "Give me a minute, I'm trying to keep my Team who got sent on a different mission, safe, since the girl they're escorting hates me for some reason." I say and close one eye to continue watching my team, they get to the village and I see everyone looking at Hotaru with glares. "Shit." I say and do a hand sigh, I poof next to Naruto, scaring him.

"STORM!" Sakura yells and attempts to hit my head, but I duck and stop her by stepping on her shadow.

"Would you keep it down? And also, Hotaru, don't trust anyone here, they could very well sell you out, if you haven't noticed the stares they're giving you." I say and Hotaru looks at me shocked.

"How would you know?" Hotaru asks and I smirk.

"That's none of your business and I have to keep track of you, because my target is after Utakata and I told Utakata to stay near your group." I say and Hotaru looks at me confused along with Yamato, but nods nonetheless.

I follow Hotaru after Yamato, Sai, Naruto and Sakura leaves. We stay in a room and I hear the door getting locked from the outside and footsteps from the other side of the inside door.

"Well, fuck." I say and Hotaru looks at me.

"What do you mean?" Hotaru asks.

"Simple, I multi-task, with listening, when the door closed behind us, it got locked and foot steps where coming, four sets of footsteps and who ever owns those feet, should be here in a few seconds." I say and Hotaru stands next to me as the door slides open. I pull out 8 kunai, four in each hand. "Hello." I say and see four people who are in my bingo book. "Wow, I didn't expect four people in my bingo book to come to me." I say and the four look at me.

"KARMA!" Chushin yells pointing at me.

"Come on Hotaru." I say and punch the door down, I grab her wrist and start running with the four behind us, we to a river area and I turn on my heel and slide backwards. I set up wire as I slide back and I jump back a few paces, placing a few paper bombs and a few other traps with Hotaru behind me.

"That was fast." Hotaru says and nod.

"I have to be fast, if I hesitate or even pause in a battle, its the end, especially in my case, I have a huge bounty over my head." I say with a sweat drop and I see the four in the tree around us, I smirk. I do some hand signs. "Water Style: Water Bullet." I say and water blows out of my mouth and hits all four, knocking them out of their tree. I do a few more hand signs. "Wind Style: Wind Bullet." I say and wind comes out of my mouth and hits them, sending them crashing into the river.

"Water and Wind chakra affinities?" Hotaru asks and I smirk.

I see a Jutsu coming at me that I can't block or dodge. I do a quick hand sign. "White Shadow Barrier." I say and a white barrier surrounds me and Hotaru, blocking the jutsu.

And since I don't remember the rest of what happened, I'm going to improvise this next part.

I see Naruto coming and I poof, not by choice and I appear in the shadows in front of Pain.

"What the fuck?" I ask and immediately put up a barrier to block Pain from touching me. "Ok, for one, what in the fucking hell is going on? Second, what in the fucking hell is going on?" I ask, slightly annoyed, but since its raining in this area, I'm calm for the most part.

"Don't ignore me." Pain says to me.

"Ok, look, I get it you lost your parents during the warring era, because of the Leaf Village, and you know what, I lost my parents when I was a month old when they went on a intel mission, I was then parentless from that day forward and the village hated me my entire childhood and early teen years, you think your hated? I did nothing wrong and they blamed me for my mother and father deaths even though I had nothing to do with any of that." I say crossing my arms over my chest, annoyed. "And yet I'm not evil and I don't kill innocent." I say and sigh, running a hand through my hair.

"You haven't seen war, you don't know what it's like to loose your best friend." Pain says to me.

I laugh sarcastically. "Oh, what a funny joke." I say and turn serious. "You don't know the half of it." I say and sit down

"You DON'T know the half of it." Pain says to me and I look at him unamused.

"Ok, talk then, I have time." I say putting my hands in my pockets.

"What? Why would I tell you?" Pain asks.

"Because you clearly need to talk, your girlfriend shares the same pain as you and you both can relate." I say and sigh again. "Besides, think of this as your last words before I kill you so you can join your friend." I say to him.

"That sounds tempting, really a charming offer, but no, I'm not done here yet." Pain says and attacks my barrier, but it doesn't budge, crack or break.

I do a few hand signs and kneel down on one knee gathering Nature Energy. "Wolf Alpha Sage Mode." I say and my hair turns black and grows twice its length, black mascara type stuff appears around my eyes and black ears and a tail appears with silver tips.

"I have your Sage Mode all figured out, you won't touch me this time." Pain says and I hear a whimper somewhere and my attention immediately directs to that, me being the next Alpha, I can't ignore that, I see one of the Wolf Pups from Mt. Okami.

"Jasper!" I exclaim shocked.

"Storm, help me." Jasper whimpers.

"Let him go, he's done nothing wrong." I say in a serious tone.

"What's this pup to you?" Pain asks me.

"The future of my pack, let him go." I say to him as my fingers itch to strangle him. "Don't you dare hurt him." I say and Jasper whimpers as he gets held tighter.

"Give up this mission and I'll let him go." Pain says to me with a smirk.

I sigh and make the release sign.

"Don't do it." Jasper says to me.

I smile at him. "Release." I say and my Sage Mode disappears. "Let him go, I've already shown that I've given up this mission." I say and Pain hits me in the chest with gravity and I fly back into the forest, I hold my arms over my chest and I hit a tree. "Ow." I say and start coughing, badly, I fall on my knee's and continue coughing, my hand glows green and I hold it over my chest. I heal the damage and I cough up some blood and I finish healing the injury, I hear a yelp and I immediately get up and run towards it to see Jasper on the ground bleeding from an external injury.

"Jasper." I say and run over, I hold my glowing green hands over him, healing most of the injury, but it's deeper than I thought. I hold him in my arms and I do a hand sign and appear in the Inuzuka Compound, scaring Kiba. "Kiba, where's Hana?" I ask him with an urgent voice.

Kiba looks at me and then see's Jasper, his eyes widen. "HANA!" Kiba yells and she runs over.

"Can you help him? I can't heal this injury, I'm too low on Chakra." I ask her and she takes Jasper and quickly takes him to her clinic. I pace outside the door with worry evident in my eyes.

I bite my finger nail as I pace.

"Storm, calm down, who is that pup? And where did you find it?" Kiba asks me.

"That would be Jasper, he belongs to Mt. Okami, where all my wolf summons live, during my mission that I was forced to give up, I fought against someone and they retreated, but now I realize he went and took Jasper from his mother Lily to use as leverage to make me quit my mission to save Jasper." I say and Kiba's eyes widen.

"I feel like there's something else your not saying." Kiba says to me.

"That part is a secret, everyone will find out in due time." I say and Kiba nods and I continue pacing as I bite my finger nail.

Hana walks out after an hour. "He'll be ok." Hana says and I relief washes over me.

"Thank you Hana." I say to her and she nods and leads me to him. "Jasper." I say and he looks at me with a few bandages around his stomach. I bend down next to him.

"Storm, I want my mama." Jasper whimpers.

I nod, feeling really bad. "Ok, I'll take you to Lily." I say and I pick him up gently.

"Its not good to move him right now." Hana says to me.

I shake my head. "You don't get it, he's not even 4 months old yet and he was used as leverage to make me abandon my mission, I need to take him back to his mother." I say to her and Hana looks at me shocked, I do a few hand signs and I appear next to Lily.

"Jasper!" She says worried and I set him down.

"I'm so sorry Lily, I didn't mean for this to happen." I say bending down in front of her.

"You didn't summon him, so it isn't your fault." Lily says to me.

"I'll be back to check on Jasper and his injury in a little while, don't remove those bandages, once I have enough chakra I'll see what I can do about the injury." I say as I get up, feeling immense guilt inside me.

"Ok." Lily says to me.

I jump into the tree's and to the top of the mountain, I sit down and hug my knee's to my chest.

"I can't believe that just happened, this is my fault." I say and tears prick the edge of my eyes as I bury my head into knee's.

"Storm?" 

I look behind me to see Lady and I look away, feeling really guilty. "Hello Lady." I say and she sits next to me.

"What happened?" Lady asked.

"I fought against a Rinnegan user named Nagato, he retreated, but instead of retreating he snatched Jasper away from his mother Lily, while I was recovering from our first fight. We nearly fought again, but he used Jasper to get me to abandon my mission, and I did abandon my mission, but I got severely hurt and so did Jasper, I had Hana Inuzuka, the vet of the Leaf Village, treat him and he's safe now, with his mother. This is all my fault, how am I supposed to be Alpha, when I can't even protect a pup?" I ask and Lady puts her paw on my shoulder.

"It's not your fault Storm, he knew who you were and was clearly a coward since he used a pup against you." Lady says to me and a few tears escape my eyes and roll down my cheeks. "Don't cry, next time you see him, you can beat his ass since I'll have every wolf here, guarding the pups." Lady says and I nod.

I hug her. "Thank you Lady, you know, your just like a mother to me, the one I never had." I say and Lady puts her paw around me.

"Now, you should come eat, you can't gather chakra on an empty stomach." Lady says to me and I shake my head.

"I'm gonna check on Jasper first, I want to make sure he'll be ok, I trust Hana's words, but I'm a medical Ninja myself, I need to double check." I say and Lady nods. I walk back down to Lily's den to see Jasper refusing to eat. "Jasper, you should eat." I say to him.

"I'm not hungry." Jasper says to me stubbornly.

I bend down next to him with a smile. "Ok, I have enough chakra, I'll heal the injury, but if I do, you have to eat." I say to him.

"Deal." Jasper says to me.

I hold my glowing green hands over him and I heal his wound, I take the bandages off to see Hana did a speed up process with her Medical Nin-Jutsu. "Ok. Now eat. I'm not leaving until you do." I say and Jasper gets up and walks over to his dinner and starts eating while me and Lily watch. I leave and walk to Lady's den. I walk in and see her and Lord sitting down, waiting.

"So this was the guest Lady?" Lord asks her.

"Yes, now sit down Storm and we'll eat." Lady says to me.

I nod and sit down. We eat and I fall asleep at the entrance of the den.
