Storm's POV

I sit in Tsunade's office, listening to her rant about my incompetence for something that I don't remember.

"So where's Jiraiya?" I ask not seeing him.

"On a mission but your getting a separate one, your to go after Deidara, I got wind that he's still alive and I want him taken care of with out anyone else knowing." Tsunade says, momentarily stopping her rant.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm on it." I say standing up and walking to the door, making a shadow clone. "Stay here and test my students with the bell test, once your done and they succeed, poof away so I know what happened." I say to her and she nods.

I walk to the gates, but I get stopped by my students running up to me.

"SENSEI!" Kuro yells and I pause and look back at her.

"Yes Kuro, Cloud, Haru?" I ask them.

"Why did you send your clone to test us?" Kuro asks me.

"Because I have a mission that you guys can't come on because it's too dangerous." I say to them with a smile.

"Oh come on Sensei, please?" Haru asks me with a pleading look in his eyes while Izumo and Kotesu look at us amused.

"No." I say to him and I walk towards the gates in my uniform and my hair up.

"Please?" All three ask but I don't hear them.

"You could have been nicer you know." Izumo says to me.

"I was being nice, you know most of my vocabulary is either colorful or rude words." I say and they both chuckle and nod.

"Yeah, I guess that's as nice as your gonna get." Kotesu says and beckons my students over. "Don't take it personally you three, in Storms POV, she doesn't want you to get hurt and she knows you weren't assigned to her mission, that's her mission, she's a Jonin and could be ANBU if she wanted. But she decided to train you guys of her own free will and because someone said she couldn't because she's a kid." Kotesu says to them and I roll my eyes.

"Uh huh, what he said, I'm not sentimental, so don't expect that stuff from me." I say and all five laugh at that. I walk outside the gates. "See ya." I say not looking back but holding my hand up in a lazy wave.

"Lets see if you can finish in record timing Storm." Izumo says to me from his spot.

"Yeah right." I say and take off running while thinking of plans.

I get to a lake and I see Sasuke and I freeze in my tracks to look at him and we stare at each other calmly before I realize I have a mission.

"Shit, I don't have time for this." I say and Sasuke smirks.

"What? You on a mission Karma?" Sasuke asks.

"No shit, Sherlock." I say to him.

"Deidara is dead, he blew himself up while fighting me." Sasuke says to me with a smirk.

I sigh and put my hands in my pockets thinking. "Tsunade is gonna kill me, but that makes things easier, my mission is finished." I say and look at Sasuke with calm eyes. "Don't tell me I have to fight you right now?" I ask.

"I have no business here." Sasuke says to me in a cold tone and he disappears.

I sigh and take a look around and find Deidara's headband and pouch along with a bit of his cloak, I seal them in a scroll and I walk back to the Leaf Village.

"That was fast." Izumo says to me.

"Someone did my mission before I could, what a waste of time." I say and Izumo and Kotesu laugh. "Alright, I'm heading to the Hokage office to face Tsunade's wrath, hurray." I say sarcastically and the two chuckle as I walk towards the building.

I get to Tsunade's office and I knock.

"Come in." 

I walk in and Tsunade looks at me confused. "Someone got to Deidara before me, but I saw sword strokes and the lake that I was near has some electricity in it and the grass was burnt, this is all I could find of what was left of Deidara, it looked like he blew himself up to get who ever attacked him." I say holding out the scroll containing all I could find.

Tsunade growls and slams her fists on her desk. "Who got to him?" Tsunade asks me in a angered voice.

"It looks like Sasuke did it Tsunade, the sword strokes on the tree's, the burnt grass, the electricity in the water, it was all too similar to when I fought him." I say to her and she growls and takes the scroll and looks at the contents. "Deidara's headband, his pouch with his explosive clay and the only piece of his Akatsuki cloak that could find, that was all the evidence that I could find." I say to her as I place my hands in my pockets.

"At least you got this much as evidence." Tsunade says to me and hands me a different scroll. "Its about time you learned this Jutsu." Tsunade says to me with a smirk.

I nod and sit on the floor by the wall and I start reading.

The Next Morning

An old toad appears in front of me, shock flashes through my eyes and I appear on the ceiling before I just see is Lord Fukasaku and I land on the couch.

"Storm-girl, Tsunade-girl." Lord Fukasaku says to us in an urgent voice.

I bury my face in the couch. "Its too early for this Lord Fukasaku." I say to him as I curl up.

"Storm, snap to attention, now." Tsunade and Kakashi say to me.

I scowl and sit up. "Fine, I'm up. I just did a whole night of Medical Training, but whatever, I didn't just master the One Thousand Healings it one night." I say moving my bangs slightly to reveal the purple diamond on my forehead.

Tsunade's eyes widen, clearly shocked. "You mastered that in one night, that took me days, even weeks to master." Tsunade says to me with shock in her voice.

Kakashi chuckles and ruffles my hair while I just roll my eyes. "My student is amazing."

"Lord Fukasaku, back to the reason why your here and decided I had to be up?" I ask averting my attention to him.

Lord Fukasaku sighs. "Jiraiya-boy is" He pauses, I guess to gather his bearings or whatever. "Dead." He says and my eyes widen along with Kakashi's, Shizune's, and Tsunade's.

I close my eyes for a second before I open them again with calm look, hiding my sadness. "I see, and where's Naruto?" I ask and Kakashi looks at me shocked that I'm doing a good job with a straight face. "I'll go get him and Sakura while I'm at it." I say while walking to the door.

"Right." Tsunade says still shocked.

I walk to Naruto's apartment and I bang on his door. "Oi, Naruto, get up, I don't have all day." I say through the door.

Naruto opens the door half asleep. "What is it Storm? Is the village being attacked?" Naruto asks.

"Just come on." I say to him and Naruto nods and changes, then follows me. We get to Sakura's place and I bang on her door. "Sakura, get up." I say through the door, her Mom answers.

"I'm sorry, Sakura is out right now, saying she was going to go see Lady Tsunade." Her mom says to me.

I sigh and nod. "Thank you Mrs. Haruno." I say and me and Naruto walk to Tsunade's office. I knock and walk in with Naruto behind me. "I'm back." I say and see Sakura there.

Lord Fukasaku and Tsunade break the news to him and I look at him to see he's shocked and I look away.

"Damn that old man, always leaving me to clean up his mess." I mutter under my breath.

Naruto blames Tsunade and leaves.

"I'm gonna go train, right now my students aren't awake so I have time and Tsunade, I take it you lost the bet against Jiraiya then?" I ask at the door, I glance back to see Tsunade nod slightly. "Then I guess I have to clean up this mess?" I ask her.

"No, not yet." Tsunade says to me with as calm a voice as she can get.

I nod and walk out. I walk to my training grounds and I start training in Tai-Jutsu until I sense someone behind me, I stop and look to see my students.

"Kuro, Haru, Cloud, good morning, I hope you slept well. Today is gonna be rough." I say to them with a smile.

Kuro looks at me closely. "Your hiding something." She says to me in a suspicious tone.

"No, no, you misunderstand Kuro, I'm not hiding anything." I say with a innocent smile.

"LIAR!" Kuro yells and I laugh nervously.

"Come on Sensei, do you think you could fool me?" Kuro asks me.

I sigh and drop the façade. "Line up." I order and they line up. I pull out two bells with a serious face. "Good, I hope your ready for this." I say with a smirk.

"Sensei?" Kuro asks me.

I smile with a small sadistic look in my eyes and Kuro finally gets the grasp of the situation and backs up slightly. I keep myself from laughing sadistically. "Ok today, I'm testing you, this test will be to see if your capable of becoming Genin and let me tell you, this is gonna be fun on my part." I say to them.

"Bring it on." Haru says to me with a grin.

I raise an eyebrow and I can tell Kakashi is watching, I glance at his direction before I look back at the three. "This is the bell test, if you can get the bells by noon then your Genin, if you don't you'll be tied to those tree's and you'll go with out lunch. You can use any type of weapon, Kunai, Shuriken, Senbon, whatever, just get the bells away from me." I say to them with a smirk.

"But Sensei, there's only two bells." Cloud says to me and I snicker.

"This is gonna be fun." I say with a smirk. "Of course and if your smart, you'll figure the test out." I say to them at that ticks Haru off, he runs at me with a kunai and in s split second, I have him on the ground with his own kunai to his neck. "Now, now, I didn't say start." I say to him with a light tone and I poof next to a tree, I lean against it and watch the three. "And start." I say and they jump away. 

They know to hide.

I sigh and put my hands in my pockets and just wait. "What a pain." I say and dodge Haru's attacks with out much effort.

He attempts to get my bells but I jump back out of the way. "So close." Haru says and continues to come after me.

I sigh and just keep dodging and when I find an opening, I kick him into the pond, most likely scaring the fish. I throw Shuriken at the Kunai with a little to much effort because the Shuriken come back towards me after making the Kunai fall. I catch them and put them back into my pouch.

I watch as Haru comes out of the water with water clones, I raise an eyebrow. "Water clones? That's a bit much for a Genin." I say and dodge the clones, I use one as a substitution half way through and I sit in the tree above. 

I don't even need my Shadow Style, this guy is a total moron.

Naruto passes through my head I cross my arms nodding.

Just like Naruto, man this is gonna be hard.

I make a substitution as a Shuriken hit me and I just continue with the substitutions, not really caring and each time I do, Haru gets more and more frustrated.

"Oh come on Storm, don't tease him."

I look over at Kakashi with a bored look. "I'm not, if anything, I'm bored and no one has even thought of what the meaning of this test is." I say and Kakashi nods.

"So your not affected by earlier?" Kakashi asks me.

A frown appears on my face. "I am, but as a Shinobi and a teacher, I shouldn't show it, it will only worry them, I'll train later to get this out of my system." I say to him as I look back at Haru as he does some hand signs.

"Water Style: Water Bullet." Haru says and I do quick hand signs.

"Wind Style: Wind Bullet." I say and I blow out wind while he blows out water and they collide making a splash I guess. I sigh in relief before I get punched in the stomach by Haru but I turn into a log and appear behind him with a calm look. 

He look back at me and I block his punches and kicks and I get backed up to the pond.

"I hate life." I say and jump back over the pond, big mistake, my feet get swiped out under me and I land on the water, on my hands. "Yep, that didn't help."

I jump back a few paces and land on my feet with a calm look. "How is one inexperienced kid, giving me this much trouble, granted, Naruto was worse, he was a pain in the ass to save on every mission." I say while scratching the back of my neck with a sigh. "I really am a Nara." I say and I create a clone to deal with Haru and I jump from tree to tree and I find Kuro, she throws Kunai at me and we engage in a Kunai battle.

I smirk at her skill. "Good, very good Kuro." I say and duck from her clone behind me and the clone hits the real Kuro across the field. I snicker and Kuro scowls at me and I do some hand signs. I use the hiding like a mole technique and appear under Kuro.

"Up, right, left, behind." Kuro says and then looks down, I grab her foot.

"Earth Style: Head Under technique." I say and drag Kuro under so that only her head is above ground and I'm standing in front of her with a smile. "Always expect your opponent to be under you Kuro." I say to her and jump into a tree and find Cloud nearby and I capture him in a Gen-Jutsu that seems to do the trick since he yells and passes out.

I set a trap for Haru by placing the bell on the ground. He attempts to take it but gets spring up into the air with his feet tied and he hangs from the tree behind him. I take the bell and put it back on my flack jacket. "Haru, if the bait is obvious, it's a trap." I say to him and he growls as he swings back and forth, he pulls out a kunai and a paper bomb, I raise an eyebrow and he throw's the kunai with the paper bomb attached, at me. I jump back and end up keep jumping back until I hit a tree, wince slightly and I duck but get blown through the tree.

I get up and see Haru gone, I immediately head for the lunches to see him about to eat. I raise an eyebrow and in one minute, he's tied to a tree back in the original clearing and the bell goes off. The other two walk over and sit down.

"Oh Kami, where do I even begin." I say on the lowest branch above Haru.

"What they did wrong?" Kakashi asks next to me.

"That's exactly the point, there's so many things they did wrong, that I don't even know where to begin." I say while hitting my head against the trunk before I look down at them. "Well, there was one major thing they did wrong." I say and Kakashi nods.

I see Kuro looking at me. "What did we do wrong Sensei?" She asks me.

I sigh and jump down in front of them. "There was one crucial part of this test, it was to get the bells, you didn't understand the meaning of it. In the first place, I should start off with is, why do you guys think we grouped three Genin in each team? Its so simple." I say and they look at me confused. "I feel like, I'm looking at Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke." I say with a sigh and Kakashi lands next to me and hmms in agreement. "Its so simple, use your brains for a second, you have them for a reason."

"I don't see a problem Sensei." Kuro says to me confused.

I face palm. "Ok, let me tell you your flaws first. Haru, you acted alone and charged recklessly, the only person in the Leaf Village that can afford to do that is me because of my Kekkie Genkai and even then I don't, you didn't even bother thinking about your teammates, you just wanted to impress Kuro and completely fell for everything. Cloud, you didn't even see me coming, a Ninja has to always be aware of their surroundings, you could have helped Haru because he was in front of you, struggling to get the bells, but you just watched. Kuro, instead of helping them, you decided to wait for me to come to you, granted you had traps set up, but that wouldn't work in a real mission, you have to find your enemy before they find you, or your dead meat, I taught you for months and I mentioned this before. Why do you three think we placed three Genin in each group? Its the most simplest answer in the world. Teamwork. A Genin should have a natural feel for teamwork." I say to them and Cloud runs at me and I pin him down. "Kuro kill Haru or Cloud dies." I say to her and all three panic. "That's what would happen on a mission. I'll give you guys one more chance after lunch, but if you fail, your getting dropped from the program completely and with out a second thought. And for the second chance, its gonna be a lot harder and don't feed Haru or you'll be sent back to the academy." I say with a roll of my eyes and disappear into the shadows.

I watch them and Cloud and Kuro feed Haru and I smirk and poof in front of them, probably scaring the shit out of them.

I look at them as they explain.

"You could be a lot nicer." Kakashi says to me.

"Like hell you were." I say and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile. I turn back to the Genin and smile. "You pass." I say and stand up straight.

They all look at me shocked and I crack up at this. "B-b-b-b-b-b-but how?" They stutter badly.

"You guys fell for every single trap during the first try, but when I said don't feed Haru, you fed him, completely disobeying my order, you see, Kakashi-Sensei told me and the rest of Team 7 something when we were Genin, he said that every single group he's had, fell for every trap and failed, but we didn't. He also told us that in the Shinobi World, those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum. I believe that, and that's why I save Naruto and Sakura's skins, even when I don't want to and also why I'm trying to get Sasuke back, whether its just research or I'm exploring on a mission, I will bring him back, because I promised Sakura I would and I don't go back on my word, even if it gets tough." I say and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"I think I taught you more than what you let on sometimes." Kakashi says to me and we both sigh.

"Woah." All three Genin say shocked.

"Meet here at 5 am tomorrow for training and don't be late." I say and me and Kakashi smile and poof away.

"5 AM!" I hear them yell and I laugh.

"Your not gonna be there at 5, your just using my trick." Kakashi says to me and I shrug.

"I might, I might not, who knows, a black cat might cross my path or an old Lady who lives on a mountain might need my help carrying her groceries." I say to him and Kakashi chuckles.

I get to Shikamaru's house and walk in and to the living room to see Shikamaru playing Shogi with Dad. I sit on the couch next to them and watch.

"Storm." Dad says to me with a nod.

"Dad." I say to him.

"How did testing your students go?" Shikamaru asks me.

"Well, they're just as stupid as Team 7." I say and Shikamaru smirks.

"Check mate." Shikamaru says to Dad.

I smile at them as they set the game up again because Dad is a sore loser and I fall asleep on the couch against the arm rest.
