The Next Morning

Storm's POV

I feel a poke on my face and I open my eyes to see pitch black hair. I fall off the couch in surprise, still waiting for my mind to wake up.

"Sensei?" 

I look at Kuro. "Morning Kuro." I say as I sit up. I look out the window to see that it's time for her to go to the academy. I get up.

"Sensei do I have to go to the academy today?" Kuro asks me.

"You'll never become an official Ninja if you don't." I say to her. "Come, I'll walk you there." I beckon her over.

"Ok." She says with a grin.

I walk her to the academy.

"Storm?" Iruka asks as I attempt to walk out the gate.

"Yeah what?" I ask looking back at him.

"Good morning." He says trying to get manners out of me.

I nod back in greeting. "Morning."

Iruka smiles at me and I roll my eyes.

I walk out of the gates and back to my apartment.

I clean the apartment and by the time I'm finished I hear a knock on the door. I walk over to the door and open it.

"Hey Mom." I say to her and she walks past me. "Uh Mom, what are you doing?" I ask as she looks around.

"Where is your student? Shouldn't you be keeping an eye on her?" Mom asks me.

I look outside to see its about a half hour before I go pick her up. "She's at the academy. I pick her up in a half hour." I say to Mom.

"I see, well I wanted to take you both shopping." Mom says to me with a smirk.

A feeling of dread washes over me. "I think I hear Tsunade calling me, I have to go." I say and attempt to run out my door but she grabs the back of my shirt and drags me over to my couch.

"If I'm correct you don't get bothered by Lady Tsunade on Monday's and Tuesdays, so you don't do missions those days and today is Tuesday. You and your student are coming with me so I can take you both shopping." Mom says with a scary aura around her.

"Y-Yes Ma'am." I say to scared to disobey.

I shower and change into my uniform before I run out the door and past the landlady.

"NO RUNNING IN THE HALLS!" She yells.

"SORRY, NO TIME TO CORRECT MYSELF, I'M GONNA BE LATE!" I yell back and I jump off the balcony, I do a few flips before I land on the ground and continue running. I zig-zag past people before I get stopped by an old lady crossing the road. I run in place as she walks slowly across the road.

I growl and turn on my heel and run down the alleyways, I take the fastest route possible to the academy and just as I run the gates school lets out and I trip on a rock and land on my face in a sprawled out position.

"Oww, that hurt." I say and hear a laugh.

"I never pegged you to be a klutz." 

I sit up to look Kiba in the eyes. "Oh yeah, well I was rushing here because Mom was stalling me with her talking." I say to him as I get up to look him straight in the eyes. "Besides what kind of hello was that? We haven't seen each other in three years practically since I've been doing mission after mission." I say to him and Kiba smirks.

"What, missed me?" Kiba asks.

I roll my eyes. "You can think that." I say to him and Kiba growls.

"Are you trying to start a fight?" Kiba asks me.

I smirk. "Its boring when I'm not fighting someone, usually there's a street fight going on when I'm in town." I say to him and we hit foreheads while glaring and calling names.

"Dog breath."

"Cat."

"Moron."

"Cow."

"Idiot."

"Jerk."

"Butt sniffer." 

"I don't sniff butts!" Kiba yells at me.

"SENSEI!" 

We look over to see Kuro running out of the building.

"Ready Kuro?" I ask her and Kiba looks between us before he laughs. I stare at him confused.

"Your going to corrupt the poor kid." Kiba says and Akamaru whines at Kiba.

I snort. "I'm not gonna fail at teaching her, unlike you, I actually am mature enough to have a student, if I remember correctly you and Naruto were the class clowns of our year." I say to him and Kiba stops laughing to glare at me.

"Hey, I can be mature! If anything your the one who isn't mature, you always pick fights." Kiba says to me.

I smirk. "Yeah, but you know, at least I have something in my head, unlike the air in yours." I say to him.

Kiba's face turns red with anger. 

"Sensei, stop picking on him." Kuro says to me.

"He's the one who started it, if he dishes it, he has to take it. Only a man could handle that." I say with a smirk and Kiba growls.

I pet Akamaru on the head as he barks in laughter at Kiba. 

Me and Kuro walk out of the gates but before I do I look back at Kiba with a smirk.

Me and Kuro walk down the road and see Neji and Ten-Ten, but somethings off, I look down at their hands to see them holding each others, I look at their faces to see pink tints on their faces.

"Come on Kuro, I know a faster route to my training grounds." I say to her and Kuro nods. We run down a few alleyways before we make it to a side road that leads to another road that takes us to a path directly to my training grounds.

I see, well it was bound to happen, I knew Ten-Ten liked Neji a little, but I didn't know Neji liked her.

I sigh and run a hand through my hair. "Alright Kuro, we're gonna work on how to escape Gen-Jutsu, I'm personally not good at Gen-Jutsu so knowing how to escape helps." I say to her and Kuro nods.

I do a few hand signs and I bite my lip drawing some blood and I wipe it on my thumb and I smear it on my hand. I slam the ground. "Summoning Jutsu!" I shout and a wolf my size appears with a poof. I stand up.

"Lady Storm." The wolf says with a small bow.

"Drop the 'lady'." I say to her. "Anyways, Chi, this is Kuro, my student, I'm teaching her how to escape Gen-Jutsu, can you help by using your Gen-Jutsu on us?" I ask her.

Chi nods. "Yes I can help, I will do you first Storm so that the kid may see how before I set her in one." Chi says to me.

I nod and she casts a Gen-Jutsu on me. 

I breath in and out, calming and centering myself, I cast all my chakra out by placing my hands together and I open my eyes, releasing my chakra and the Gen-Jutsu dispels.

After a while Kuro gets it and I nod to Chi who takes it up a notch.

"We're doing this Uchiha level Gen-Jutsu now." I say to Kuro who nods.

After a few hours Kuro beats this and I smirk and fist bump Chi who does a wolf smirk.

"Awesome, now do you want to take a break for food?" I ask Kuro.

Mine and Kuro's stomachs growl on cue right after I said that.

"Come, we'll go to Mt. Okami." Chi says and I grin.

"YES." I yell and Kuro looks confused.

Chi disappears in a poof and I grab onto Kuro and in a minute we get summoned to Mt. Okami.

My mouth waters at the sight of cooked meat. "That looks so good." I say and Lady laughs.

"You two eat up." Lady says and Kuro nods and sits next to me.

We eat and Chi eats what we can't finish.

"So good." I say leaning back on the wall.

"So who are you?" Lady asks looking at Kuro.

"My name is Kuro, for my black hair. I'm Storm-Sensei's student." Kuro introduces herself.

Lady barks in laughter and lays down next to me. "So your the one everyone has been talking about." Lady says to her.

I close my eyes as I listen to them talk.

I suddenly remember something.

Neji and Ten-Ten, why does that make me sad? I should be happy for them. Oh well, hormones are odd, it's probably something that's gonna pass like usual. Mom is gonna kill me, we didn't go shopping because I took Kuro training right away, instead of meeting Mom, she's probably breaking my doors down looking for us.

After a while I hear Lady and Kuro's breathing steady so I get up and leave the house. I walk around and sit on a empty cave rock, looking up at the stars.

I lay down on my stomach with my legs curled up next to me and my head on my arms, I fall asleep peacefully.

A few days later.

I got sent on a mission with Yamato, Sakura, Sai and Naruto to capture some grave robbers.

I get stuck waiting with Naruto and Sai and after a minute I get impatient.

"That's it, I'm going on ahead." I say.

"We should be waiting." Sai says to me.

"Dude, she's scary when she gets impatient." Naruto says to him.

I dash off down the road and I make it to one of the graves, I dodge a gray haired boy in monk clothes.

"Ok then." I say and continue to dodge the boy as he uses wind attacks, Naruto joins me but attacks back. "Naruto, you don't attack a Monk in training, they're supposed to be holy people in training." I say to Naruto.

Soon Sakura, Sai, Yamato and some other Monks run up and Yamato stops Naruto while a monk stops the boy.

"I thought Sora would be dead by now because Karma is here." One of the Monks say looking at me.

I snort. "As far as I know, he hasn't done anything so there's no need for me to deliver punishment." I say and walk over to Naruto who I punch into the ground. "You on the other hand need to do your research, you don't just attack a monk in training unless absolutely necessary." I say to Naruto and Yamato nods in agreement.

"I'll remember that." Naruto says a bit dizzy.

"Good." I help him up.

"You must be Karma, your bounty is higher than mine and I was part of the Guardian Shinobi Twelve." The head monk says to me.

I nod to him in greeting. "My name is Storm, they call me Karma because I pay people back for their wrongs." I say to him as I hold out my hand, he takes it and we shake hands before I step back next to Yamato.

"My name is Chiriku, I'm the head Monk in the Fire Temple." He says to us.

"It's scary seeing Storm act nicely." Naruto says as he hides behind Yamato.

"This is Sora, one of the monks in training." Chiriku says referring to the gray haired boy.

I nod in greeting to him.

If it weren't for Gramps teaching me manners on how to talk to other people from different villages or places, I would be looking like a fool right now.

Sora just scowls back.

We head to the Fire Temple and me and Yamato talk to Chiriku about the grave robbers before I see Naruto jump over to Sora and start talking to him.

I face palm. "My teammate is an idiot, I apologize for this." I say Chiriku and he nods.

I walk over to Naruto and Sora and I hit their heads together. "Get along you two. Naruto, we won't be staying long, just until we finish the mission, I suggest you focus on the mission instead of picking a fight with Sora, and Sora instead of going along with the fight, walk away from it, from what I was told, this is not how a monk behaves." I say to them as I emit a glow from my eyes making Naruto and Sora nod quickly and they separate. I walk back over to Yamato as I control my eyes to calm down and not glow.

"You scared them didn't you?" Yamato asks me with a frown.

"That part was unintentional." I say to him and Yamato nods.

After a while I see something in the distance. "Yamato, get Naruto, Sora, Sai and Sakura then catch up to me, I have to see something." I say to him and Yamato nods, not questioning why.

I take off running and I make it to a cliff, I see four figures on a cliff on the opposite side of the meadow. I look closer to see what Asuma was talking about when he said a group of figures are destroying places and killing off people.

I back up about fifty steps before I take off running, when I get to the edge of the cliff I jump and land on the other cliff in a crouched position, right in front of their leader I guess. I stand up with a smirk. "Now that is what I call an awesome jump." I say and they all sweat drop.

They four look at me to see I'm Karma. "Karma." They say and get ready to fight.

I smirk almost a devilish smirk and I pull out a few kunai and fight all four of them head on. "Its time for punishment."
