A few hours later

Storm's POV

I walk through the dream world. "Not again." I say as two figures appear.

I walk over and they look at me.

"Sorry if we're disturbing you miss, but my friend here mixed up our sense's and we don't know where we are even though we live here." A boy with silver hair and a mask says to me while referring to the boy next to him with goggles.

"Where were you guys trying to go?" I ask them.

"To the dango shop." The boy with goggles says to me.

I nod. "Follow me." I say and they nod. We walk down the street and round the corner, I see Yoru and James at the Dango shop, but they're my age. "Over there." I say to the two boys and they nod. I leave before James and Yoru can see me.

I walk down the street and tie my hair up. I walk to a pond I know really well and I check behind me using the pond and I see the two boys and Yoru and James trying to hide.

"That's it, I officially hate my dream world, I get no sleep and I get stuck in this crap." I say and turn around to look at them. "You can come out, I know your there and your hiding skills are awful." I say to them and they walk out, except a older silver haired guy jumps down in front of them and looks at me, then at Yoru, then me, then Yoru, then me, then Yoru.

"Which one is the look alike?" He asks and I face palm.

"Ok, I'm finding the portal, then I am leaving and hopefully return to my time zone. Goodbye." I say to them and I jump up into the tree and I climb up. I look around and the portal isn't there.

Don't tell me I have to play through this.

Yamato's POV

Storm moves a little like she's in a nightmare and I look at her with tired eyes.

I shake her and she sits up with a small gasp.

"I hate my dream world, it keeps sending my mind to different time zones." She says and I look at her confused. She calms down then looks at me. "Tenzo, I'm fine, get some rest, you look worse than I do." 

I nod and do as she says.

Storm's POV

I walk over to the window and I climb up onto the roof of the building.

I lay on my stomach with my chin on my arms and my body curled up next to me.

I look at the stars and I finally drift off to sleep that isn't interrupted by dream world crap.

The Morning

The sun hits my face and I slowly open my eyes to reveal its morning, I see Sakura and Naruto running up and down the street looking for me and Sai next to me, just watching me. I sit up and Sai smiles at me.

"Good morning Storm, how did you get up here?" Sai asks me.

"Long story." I say to him and Sai nods.

We jump back into the room to see Yamato pacing back and forth with worry on his face.

"Did you guys lose something?" I ask and Yamato looks up at me shocked.

"Where were you?" Yamato me.

"Sleeping on the roof, where I got the first decent sleep in months." I say to him and Yamato nods and looks at Sai.

"Did you know about this?" Yamato asks.

"I saw her leave so I kept guard over her so she wouldn't get killed or taken." Sai says to him.

"What?" Yamato asks shocked he would do that.

"Parentless and scarred children have to stick together right?" Sai asks with a smile.

I smirk and Yamato looks at the two of us.

"I suppose." Yamato says and Sakura and Naruto walk in to see me.

"STORM!" They yell shocked.

I raise an eyebrow. "Nice to see you to."

We get back to the Leaf village and me and Yamato report the mission.

"WHAT!" Tsunade yells aiming it at me.

"I said, I fought Sasuke head on and ended in a draw with him retreating." I say to her and we try staring each other down.

"You were so close to bringing him back and you failed?" Tsunade asks me.

Yamato watches us.

"Yeah, I did fail, but that's because he had the upper hand with his lightning affinity and I was already half beat up by Naruto's nine tailed rampage that I was trying to stop." I say to her.

"You could have asked the other people on your team for help." Tsunade says to me.

"In the bingo book, I'm labeled as Karma, I was paying Sasuke back tenfold for what he did to my team. He hurt my friends and my teacher, I wasn't just gonna let him leave, we fought till we couldn't and he retreated, the next time I fight him again, that's when I'm bringing him back, because now, I know his strengths and his weaknesses and his jutsu, I'm not gonna fail next time." I say to her and she walks over to me.

"You better not." Tsunade says to me.

I walk out and down the halls. I run down the streets to the academy and I see Kuro waiting at the door.

I walk over and she looks at me. "Sensei?"

"Come, its time for training, no way am I gonna fail teaching you." I say to her with a smirk and Kuro grins.

"YAY!" Kuro yells and I look at the gates to see Shikamaru there waiting.

We walk over and Shikamaru smirks.

"So, your back and ready to teach, good, then mind if I watch?" Shikamaru asks me.

"Your just gonna do it anyways, so why not." I say to him and the three of us walk to my training grounds.

"What are you gonna teach me first Sensei?" Kuro asks me.

I walk over to my training dummies. "We're gonna work on your Tai-Jutsu, when a ninja runs out of chakra, their last resort is their physical strength, the stronger your physical strength is, the better chance you have of surprising your opponent." I say to her and Shikamaru sits down next to my tree.

"But Iruka-Sensei said that a ninja has to watch their chakra to make sure they don't die. He said that Chakra is their life force." Kuro says to me.

"There's two reserves of chakra in a ninja, one is the one that keeps you alive and the other is what you use with Jutsu, I had to tap into my life force jutsu yesterday because a certain duckass moronic idiot decided, oh hey, I'm gonna kill Storm because I didn't get the chance to last time." I mock the last part and Shikamaru looks at me shocked.

"Sasuke?" Shikamaru asks and I nod.

"I fought him for 5 or so hours, using chakra, my weapons, and my Tai-Jutsu, we ended at a draw with him retreating and I just got an earful of me failing from Tsunade." I say to him with a frown.

"Dad is gonna give it to you as well." Shikamaru says to me.

I sulk up on my branch. "I know."

Kuro gets to work and I watch her shocked as she doesn't complain.

Me and Shikamaru watch her.

"I think we're leaving the next Generation in good hands."

I look over to see Jiraiya watching the three of us.

I roll off the branch and land on my feet. "Jiraiya." I say to him with a nod.

"Storm, I heard about the mission from Tsunade." Jiraiya says looking at me in the eyes with some sort of burning intensity.

"And?" I ask crossing my arms over my chest to stare at him in the eyes.

Jiraiya smirks then lectures me about failing, I already know where this is gonna end up.

4 hours later

I'm sitting in the living room of Mom and Dad's playing a game of Shock against Shikamaru.

Dad walks in and watches us. "Storm."

I glance at him. "Yes?" I ask before I look back at the game board.

"You failed your mission." Dad says as he sits next to us.

"I know." I say and move a piece. "Next time I'm bringing Sasuke back and he won't be able to stop  from bringing him back." I say to him.

Dad lectures me and gives me the same speech that Jiraiya gave me so I zone out as I focus on the game.

"Storm are you even listening to me?" Dad asks me as he tries keeping his voice calm.

"Yes, I am." I reply in a calm tone.

Mom walks in the room. "Storm your back." Mom says surprised.

"And she failed her mission." Dad says and Mom gasps.

I stand up after a few seconds, alright, I give, I'm not gonna win against Shikamaru." I say crossing my arms with a smirk.

Shikamaru smirks and fist bumps me.

I walk to the door. "I'm going for a walk, I've heard three lectures today. I don't plan on hearing another. I already know Kakashi-Sensei is gonna give me one but at least he'll understand why I did what I did." I say and Shikamaru nods while Dad and Mom protest.

I walk out of the house and out of the compound.

I walk around for a but before I decide to go see Sensei.

He looks at me as I walk into his hospital room.

"Hello Storm." Kakashi says to me.

"Hi Sensei, can you move at all now?" I ask and he gives me a closed eyed smile.

"For the most part." Kakashi says to me then looks at me closely to see my hands figeting behind my back. "Ok, tell me, what happened." Kakashi says to me.

I sigh and sit on the chair and explain the mission.

"I see." Kakashi says and looks up at the ceiling. "I'm not gonna lecture you, by the looks of it, you already have been lectured, so there's no need since the point is already across, but I still think you should have asked the others for help." Kakashi says to me.

"I don't ask for help Sensei, that's just next to impossible for me. Besides, he hurt my team, my village, my friends, I'm not gonna let him do that again." I say to him and Kakashi gives me a closed eyed smile.

"Seems you've finally fully accepted Naruto and Sakura and Ino." Kakashi says to me.

I snort and cross my arms. "You can think that." I say and Kakashi laughs.

"Well its late, you should probably head home." Kakashi says to me.

I sigh. "Yeah I suppose." I say and get up and walk to the door. "Hey Sensei?"

"Yes Storm?" Kakashi asks me.

"When your out of the hospital and able to do missions again, do you want to go on a few missions with me again, like old times?" I ask him.

"Why?" Kakashi asks me.

I shake my head. "Never mind, I should probably use half my mission time to train Kuro anyways." I say as I open the door.

"Kuro?" Sensei asks.

"My new student, Tsunade gave me to her while she was being a total dumbass because she didn't think through on how I could accidentally corrupt her into a mini me." I say to Kakashi with a closed eyed smile. I open my eyes to see Kakashi mirroring my smile.

"Seems you've grown out of your teen stages and finally have become a young woman." Kakashi says to me.

I nod slightly and attempt to walk out the door.

"We can do a few missions together but you have to bring Kuro along." Kakashi says to me.

I smile to myself. "Yes Sensei." I say and walk out.

I walk to my apartment and walk in. 

Kuro is using my room, the guest room is unsuitable, I have to fix that tomorrow and make that Kuro's room, then I have to get cooking lessons so I can make edible food, I have to do the dishes, and basically clean the apartment tomorrow. Cleaning first, then cooking lessons.

I collapse on my couch after locking the door and windows. I drift off to sleep peacefully and calmly.
